Miss James was working away in the morgue. She wasn't expecting any visitors as she thought she had told everyone everything. So when Sam appeared at the doorway she was a little surprised. She was even more surprised when Miss Cherry poked her head around the door! She didn't exactly get along with Miss Cherry and as the other members of station house No.4 didn't, she didn't see why she had too.

"What's she doing here?" Miss James asked Sam.

"She's helping with the case so please be nice." Sam tried to stay on Miss James' good side.

"As long as she does." Miss James crossed her arms.

Miss Cherry crossed her arms as a response. It was clear these two weren't going to get along so Sam would have to be quick if she wanted information.

"So what did you want?" Miss James got around to asking.

"We needed to check something about the case. Do we have any fingerprints from the crime scene where the other Detective Murdoch was shot?" Sam asked, trying to keep the mood light.

"Yes. Here, somewhere left just outside the exit." Miss James passed Sam the file.

"Thanks. Might be interesting to see who it is." Sam took the file, hoping they weren't who she thought they might be from.

Sam turned to where the fingerprints were. Pendrick and Miss Cherry looked over her shoulder. Sam let out a sigh of relief when she noticed they weren't Cleggs.

"Do they look familiar to you?" Miss James asked.

"No. Thank goodness." Sam gave Miss James back the file.

"Myers knew who it was but it's probably just him." Miss James shrugged.

"Did he say more about that or was he still very secretive?" Sam asked, even though she could guess what the answer was going to be.

"No sorry. He said it was someone he had been after a while but that was all." Miss James shook her head.

"That's all he told us as well." Pendrick said.

"Well I'm afraid I can't tell you much more at the moment. I hope you can find out more." Miss James wished them luck.

Sam nodded as she headed towards the bullpen again. Miss Cherry shivered one more time and then left as well. Miss James kept back a smile at this as she really didn't like her. It was nice to know she wasn't as brave as she made out.

Higgins stayed behind George as they kept walking around the building they had fallen into. It was pretty dark but luckily both of them had flashlights. George was breathing heavily but was a bit more brave than Higgins was being.

"George?" Higgins gulped.

"What's the matter Henry?" George asked.

"Do you think we'll get out of here? Like do you think we are going to get out." Higgins kept asking.

Crabtree stopped in his tracks. There wasn't anything in front of him but it might calm Henry down if he faced him when talking. Higgins was a bit confused as to why Crabtree had stopped.

"Henry stop being so pessimistic. It's not helping." Crabtree encouraged.

Crabtree then went about walking again. He was sure Higgins was probably suggesting something else but right now it was best if he did most of the thinking. They kept walking, with Higgins still being very unsure. The building seemed to get bigger and bigger. Crabtree thought about the last time he was stuck in a big building he didn't know well and it nearly didn't end very well.

"George you okay?" Higgins saw the fear in his friends eyes.

"Yeah fine. Just trying to focus." George nodded.

"Just tell me if something is wrong. We're the only ones here after all." Higgins mentioned.

Cratree stopped again. This time he wasn't focused on saying something else though. He shined the torch upwards and then found a door. It was locked and made of strong steel.

"Well that's not what I was expecting!" Higgins exclaimed quietly.

"Neither was I. Maybe we should turn back." George started to turn around to go away.

"Good idea let's go." Higgins said, grabbing at George's arm.

They slowly made their way back. They made sure every step wasn't on anything. They didn't want to make any sounds just in case anyone was about that could harm them.

Sam was staring at the new blackboard they had made since the case files had been taken. A few things were still missing as nothing else that was left linking to the part of evidence. She rubbed the back of her neck with her hands as she kept going over it. Pendrick could see she was worried.

"Sam. What are you thinking?" Pendrick said walking over to her.

"How hard this case is turning out to be." Sam sighed.

"Are they ever easy?"

"No but normally we have some ideas by now. I mean I suppose we do but no one is helping each other."

"We need Myers in other words." Pendrick admitted.

"I never thought I would say this but maybe we do. He might at least have an idea of where they are hiding."

Pendrick took the picture of the building where Detective Murdoch was shot. Sam was puzzled as to why he had done this. Normally James would only look at the pictures not take them!

"Do you recognise something?" Sam asked, still a little confused.

"No look. Here." Pendrick pointed out.

Sam looked more closely. Pendrick was pointing at the side of the building as one of the police officers had taken the photo. Someone was watching the scene. No not watching, staring. The face was a little blurry but she was sure someone would be able to make it out.

"Who is it?" Pendrick asked.

"I don't know. Miss Cherry could you possibly run this down to Miss James again?" Sam passed the photo to Miss Cherry.

Miss Cherry had been mostly quiet in the conversation so far. She really didn't want to deal with miss James once again. However, if it would make her actually have a use so she could show off to Miss James later then she would take the chance. She nodded as headed down towards the morgue once again. The morgue wasn't the place you wanted to spend most of the day.

"Why didn't you go down with the photo?" James smiled when he and Sam were alone.

"Miss Cherry needed something to do. She was just there and I might as well use her." Sam shrugged.

Pendrick shook his head. Sam was unbelievable sometimes! He looked over to the door of the station house. Crabtree and Higgins still hadn't returned and he was starting to get worried. He was sure Sam was as well but she hid her feelings very well.

"Do you want me to go and find George and Henry?" Pendrick asked.

Sam faced him again. Her eyes were full of worry. She had grown up with George and Henry. She hated when they got into trouble especially when they got injured.

Before she could say what she really felt however, Crabtree and Higgins came bursting through the door. Sam sighed with relief as soon as she saw them.

"Where have you been?! You've been ages!" Sam said somewhat happy and somewhat still scared about where they had been.

"We got lost." Crabtree breathed out trying to get his breath back.

"The floor fell from under our feet! Then we got lost in the bottom of the building we went to investigate." Henry explained.

"Yeah right! What really happened?" Pendrick asked, chuckling.

"That did happen. We're telling the truth." Higgins fought back.

Pendrick rolled his eyes and tutted. Maybe he should have gone with them and they would have an actual story to tell that was the truth. Sam on the other hand believed both of them knowing them longer than Pendrick did.

"So what happened whilst we were gone?" Crabtree questioned looking at Sam and changing the subject as Pendrick was obviously not going to believe them.

"We found something in the picture. A person we think might be a key to this case." Pendrick gestured over to the blackboard.

"Where is it? Can we see it?" Higgins asked a little suspicious as to why they couldn't see it right now.

"Miss James is checking the face. It's a bit blurry so she might have something to get it a bit more clear." Sam told them.

Higgins was a bit confused as to how she would do this but if miss James had a way to do it then it would be very useful. Crabtree was still trying to get his breath back which seemed to have been knocked out of him this time. Sam wanted to help her friend but she didn't know what she would do.

"Do you need help George?" Pendrick raised an eyebrow.

"No it's fine. Just got a frog in my throat" Crabtree started to cough.

"We need you at your strongest George. Are you sure you don't want to go to hospital?" Sam asked, a bit more worried than Pendrick was.

George shook his head in response. He was still coughing but it seemed to be slowing and stopping so they turned back to the case. Miss James' shouting interrupted them.

"What on earth is going on down there?!" Higgins smirked.

"James, can you go and check it out?" Sam pushed Pendrick in the direction of the door to the morgue.

Pendrick felt a bit awkward walking to the morgue as shouting was heard coming from it especially as he was a bit scared of Miss James! The phone rang from the bullpen and George went to answer it.

"Station house No.4." George said.

George's face dropped. Sam ran over to see what was the matter. Higgins stayed back just in case they needed help from somewhere like an ambulance or something.

"What's the matter George? What's going on?" Sam asked, rushed.

"It's the hospital." George gulped.

Sam didn't need to be told anymore and was already rushing out of the door before George could say anything else. Higgins rushed after her as he saw how scared she was. George was left to end the phone call. He hadn't told Sam anything and she already knew what he was talking about.

"Okay we'll be straight there." George ended the call before grabbing his coat.

The call was a very important one and they needed to get to the hospital now!
