Chapter 93: Gloria!

"It's getting harder." Gray admitted.

"My magic's is also almost all…" Ulyo breathed in exhaustion.

"Forgive me, Ulyo-imouto." Lyon remarked.

"Let's finish them off, Lyon." Chelia urged.

"I have no liking for harming a woman." Lyon sighed. "Least of all when my opponent is my little sister figure. You take care of Ulyo-imouto."

"Are we on that again?" Chelia complained. "You're stronger than I am, so you should just take her out with one shot. Then, I'll use my Healing Magic to restore your power."

"I see." Gray remarked. "So that's what you've got up your sleeve."

"We didn't want to show our cards that easily." Lyon declared.

"Lyon, just hurry up and finish them off." Chelia urged.

"I told you." Lyon retorted. "I'm leaving Ulyo-imouto to you."

"Why me?" Chelia protested.

"Never mind," Lyon snapped. "I told you to do it, so do it!"

"Their weakness is teamwork." Gray rested a hand on his partner's shoulder. "Hey Ulyo, are you thinking what I'm thinking?

"Unison Raid?" Ulyo grinned.

"Let's hit them with all our magic power." Gray nodded.

"Unison Raid," the pair focused their powers.

"I'm done playing games." Lyon growled. "Chelia!"

"It's so pretty…" Chelia gushed as the swirling ice particles.

"What are you doing, Chelia?" Lyon shook the astonished Sky God Slayer. "Power me up! Chelia, snap out of it!"

"Winter Geyser!" the ice-water pair released their attack.

"Damn you, Chelia!" Lyon cursed, the two of them were blasted off by the icy whirlpool/

"I'm sorry!" Chelia wailed.

"It's Erza!" Chapati declared, after Erza took out Minerva with one shot. "She beat Sabertooth's leader and earned five points! Right now, Fairy Tail has 63 points! They're strong! Fairy Tail is too strong! Will they win this without one member going down? The wizards of the other guilds are almost all out! In fact, the only one who's left is Sabertooth's Sting!"

"I didn't think it would actually work out the way I wanted it to." Sting snorted. "This must be fate. I'm right here!" he fired a magic flare into the sky. "Come and get me, Fairy Tail! What a spectacular sight." He remarked, seeing the five Fairy Tail mages converging to his position. "All of you wizards I looked up to seven years ago."

"Can the chatter." Gajeel retorted. "This is the final battle."

"We'll beat you one on one." Gray added. "Who do you want?"

"All at once is fine." Sting shrugged. "With our injuries, one on one would be boring."

"You'd better no underestimate Fairy Tail." Ulyo warned.

"I wouldn't dream of it." Sting chided. "I'm treating you all with respect. That's why I'm gonna crush you all together. I've been waiting for this. I'm gonna show Lector how strong I am."

"Lector?" Gray echoed.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but are you serious?" Laxus scoffed.

"I'm serious." Sting declared. "I got stronger! Losing Lector has awakened new strength! For Lector's sake… for my best friend's sake… I'm gonna beat all of you!"

"Fine." Erza stepped forward. "If you're that prepared. Then we'll fight you, Sting!"

"That's what I what to hear." The Light Dragon Slayer grinned and powered up. "I'll show you my newly-awakened power!" All of them are already worn out. He gaped. So beat up, one push will knock them over. Dammit, I've come so far! What are you hesitating for? If I beat them all at once, I'll have kept the promise to my lady. I'll be able to see Lector. "I didn't win…" he sunk to his knees, his will wavering. "I give up."

"That's it!" Chapati announced. "The winner of the Grand Magic Games… is Fairy Tail!"

"Sting," Ulyo walked towards the defeated Dragon Slayer. "Why didn't you come after us?"

"I had a feeling I couldn't meet him…" Sting muttered. "Before, I thought I'd be able to meet him if I won… but for some reason, I felt like I couldn't meet him. I don't understand it myself. You people are so radiant that I didn't think I could meet him the way I am now."

"Wanna bet?" the water mage grinned.

"Er-chan!" Millianna called, running to the yard with a sleeping Lector in her arms.

"Lector!" the Dragon Slayer stumbled to his feet and ran towards the Exceed.
