Chapter 98: Life Time!

My life was cursed.Ultear mused, sinking to her knees. I've deceived people, mocked them and taken their lives. But, imouto, it was you who gave me a chance to live as a human being. I intended the independent guild Crime Sorcière to be my way of atoning for my sins. I meant to atone, but I didn't change. I'm still a witch who doesn't think twice about murdering someone. I don't deserve to live. But now, if giving up my life can reset the world, I'll gladly offer it. Powering up, she slammed her hands on the ground. "Arc of Time: Last Ages!" tough it out! She swore, screaming in pain as the magic ebbed out. Think of the agony you inflicted on so many people! Compared to that, this pain is exquisite pain running through my cells one by one is this where I pay the price with my time with my life? My time is vanishing my life my future it was a life tainted by villainy and vice, but looking back, someone was always there for me. Gray, Jellal, Meredy… and my beloved little sister the joy when you first called me nee-san; it was more happiness than someone like me deserved. And yet, I didn't realize it. I spent my time and my life on foolish things. But it's not too late! I'll sacrifice the rest of my time for the sake of those who are dear to me! I never want to see Ulyo's tears again! She promised, the magic pillar around her solidifying. Please! She begged. Bring the world back to at least before the portal was opened! Take my life in exchange for just a little time! The pillar of magic then exploded outwards in a massive shower of bright lights before expanding outwards in a ripple of power. Time went back. She turned to the tower clock after casting the spell. One minute? her eyes' widened in shock. The value of my life is just one minute? NoI couldn't save a single soul with that last though, she collapsed onto the ground.

"What was that?" Lyon wondered, a sudden image of Gray being shot to the chest flashed across his mind.

"I'm gonna get killed?" Gray frowned.

"A dream?" Meredy mused.

"Juvia saw it, too." Juvia piped in.

"What the hell?" Gray growled. "Suddenly getting a vision of my death is just too creepy!"

"The little dragons appear from over there." Meredy pointed.

"They really did show up!" Lyon was shocked to see four dragonets appearing. "What the hell is going on here?" he pressed, Ulyo's 'White Ripple' taking out all four dragonets at once.

"Did someone warn us?" Gray wondered. "Who could've done that?"
