Hisashi was surprised. He hadn't expected Hanabi to be gone for over 2 weeks. He had thought that Hanabi would come back in a few days. He wondered what she was currently doing. Hopefully, it wasn't anything shameful or anything that would place the Hyuuga clan in a bad light. Nonetheless, Hisashi needed Hanabi back in the compound because if the citizens of Konoha end up finding out what happened, it wouldn't be good for the clan.

In order to bring her back, first, he would need to find her. Konoha was a pretty big village, and she could be anywhere. She was an adult, which meant she was no longer obligated to stay in their clan's compound. Though Hisashi was puzzled as to how he would get her to come back.

Hanabi's opinion of her clan already wasn't good, and she had just about distanced herself from everyone in her clan, even her sister, whose relationship had just started to get better before all of the drama had occurred.

Hisashi supposed that everything that had happened was mostly his fault. He just wanted Hanabi to understand that what he did was for the good of the clan and that the advantages (Boosted status and power for the clan) outweighed the disadvantages (Hanabi's happiness). He considered her actions to be selfish.

But, she had done something he hadn't expected her to do. She seemed to be doing well enough for her not to come back to the clan. Thus, Hisashi decided that if need be, he'd cancel the arrangements for Naruto and Hanabi to be married. Though it wouldn't be easy, the Hyuuga elders did not like Hanabi, and canceling the arranged marriage would be disregarding the clan rule that caused Hanabi to leave in the first place. So he'd also have to find a way to shut up the elders.

It wouldn't be that hard, since he was clan head. But he knew that they would be very annoying, and would constantly nag him about his decision to let Hanabi back into the clan.

Hisashi felt like he could take care of that problem when it arose, however. He called for a Hyuuga clan member and one soon came.

"Yes, Hisashi-sama?" He said

"It is time for Hanabi to come back to the compound. Locate her, and let her know that it is time she comes back." Hisashi ordered.

"Yes, Hisashi-sama!" He answered obediently and left the building.

Hinata had a plan laid out for today. Today, she would confess her feelings (again) to Naruto. She had concluded that her sister was starting to develop feelings for Naruto. She had began to have suspicions during their confrontation a week ago, and she figured that it would be best to confess her feelings before her sister did. Hanabi was a much more outgoing and confident person than her, so she had to act fast.

Hinata knew that Hanabi was starting to have feelings for Naruto because when she asked her sister if she had feelings for Naruto, Hanabi's face turned red and she started to stutter, which is something she never did. Plus, Naruto and Hanabi were bound to get closer to each other if they were living in the same house.

While it was true that they had only been on 1 date, Hinata realized that the longer time she took to confess, the higher the chance of Hanabi realizing her feelings and confessing. So, Hinata left the compound, determined to get her feelings across.

She wasn't gonna lie to herself though, she knew that the chances of her feelings being accepted weren't high, and the thought itself made her sad. Though she knew that she had to do this today. Hinata and Naruto hadn't interacted with each other that much ever since they took care of Toneri. So if Naruto ever had developed any sort of feelings for her, they were probably gone now.

As she made her way to Naruto's new house, she couldn't help but think that if Naruto and Hanabi ended up together, she wouldn't know if she could accept it. She was sure that if he ended up with anyone else, she'd be able to accept it. But her sister, the thought was just so unexpected. Nevertheless, there was nothing she could do about it but pour her heart out and hope for the best.

Hanabi's day was pretty normal so far, she woke up, made breakfast for her and Naruto, and relaxed on the couch. Though her normal day was interrupted by a knock on the door. It couldn't be Naruto, because he left a few minutes ago saying that he needed to talk to the Hokage about something.

Sighing, she got up from her comfortable position on the couch and went to go answer the door. Hanabi's face shifted from calm to surprised once she saw who was at their house, a member of the Hyuuga clan.

"Hanabi-sama, Hisashi-sama has decided that it is time for you to return home to the compound and has sent me to retrieve you." The clan member informed her.

Hanabi could only sigh. She had a feeling that leaving her clan the way she did was too easy, so she wasn't too surprised. If anything, she was more surprised that it took as long as it did for her father to try and get her to come back.

Nonetheless it wasn't like she had any intention to go back right now. Plus, going back to the compound would be going against the reason why she left in the first place.

Why would she go back to a place where she was constantly belittled? A place where no matter what she did, people would only see and look for her faults. It was toxic, being in a place like that, and Hanabi would not put up with that kind of behavior toward her any longer. So, the chances of her going back to the compound were slim.

"You can tell my father that I have no intention to go back at the moment." Hanabi said, causing the clan member to nod and leave to inform her father.

Unfortunately for Hanabi, that interaction wasn't where things ended, because not 20 minutes after she had gone to sit back down, she heard yet another person knocking on the door. It was starting to get on her nerves, couldn't she just have one day to herself? She once again got up and headed toward the door, a look of annoyance on her face.

For the second time that day, she was surprised by who was on the other side of the door, her sister. Hanabi didn't even have to guess to know that whatever she was here for, it probably involved Naruto, which she didn't like.

"Is Naruto-kun here?" Hinata asked, not surprised at all by seeing her sister at the door.

"No, he left earlier to go and talk to the Hokage." Hanabi replied.

"Oh, do you mind if I wait here for him?" Hanabi almost said yes, the only thing stopping her was the fact that Hinata was her sister.

"No, not at all." She said, motioning for Hinata to come in.

The silence that ensued afterward was awkward to say the least, but Hanabi didn't mind, as long as there was some kind of silence, she didn't care. Much to her displeasure though, her sister felt the need to break the silence with a question.

"How are you?" She asked.

"I'm okay, I could be better." Hanabi responded.

"That's good." Hinata replied, leaving them in yet another awkward silence. Hanabi hoped this one would last longer.

The reason why the silence was so awkward was due to two reasons. Because of the confrontation the two had during the night of the get-together, and because of the fallout between the two when Hanabi had informed Hinata of her mistake with Naruto.

Both events had caused their relationship to go from close, to neutral. Meaing that they were aware of each other, but neither of them felt the need to talk or socialize with one another anymore. Their relationship was essentially the same as when Hanabi was put on a pedestal when she was stronger than her sister.

Yet again, the silence was interrupted, but not by either of them. Instead, this time it was by the sound of a door opening. Hanabi and her sister directed their attention the noise.

"Man, Kakashi-sensei keeps telling me that if I want to be Hokage, I need to learn manners. I think the manners I have now are perfectly fine, right Hanabi?" The voice said, revealing itself to be Naruto as he closed the door behind him. His face turned into one of surprise once he saw Hinata.

"Oh, Hinata? What're you doing here?" Naruto asked.

"H-Hello Naruto-kun, I was hoping to talk to you about something."

"Sure! We'll be right back, Hanabi." Naruto said as Hinata got up and the two headed toward the door. Hanabi just nodded, a frown on her face. She had a bad feeling.

Hinata had to be honest, she was a bit surprised with how Hanabi was acting when she saw Naruto. She expected her little sister to be a stutering mess like she was when Hinata asked her about her feelings for Naruto. Maybe she only responded that way when her feelings for Naruto were brung up?

Anyways, Hinata was going to confess her feelings to Naruto today, and if she had to be completely honest, her hopes were not that high. The two had been walking around for a few minutes before they sat down on a bench.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about Hinata?" Naruto asked curiously. Hinata just took a deep breath, and hoped for the best as she began to talk to Naruto about her feelings.
