A/N: Due to your guy's support, I've decided to release a chapter early, thank you for reading this far and waiting patiently for chapters!

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Naruto asked curiously. Hinata just took a deep breath and hoped for the best as she began to talk to Naruto about her feelings. Well, her first question wasn't going to be about her feelings, but she'd get there eventually.

"W-When you were told that you had to m-marry my sister, how did you feel about it?" Hinata asked. Naruto was confused by the question but tried to answer the question as best as he could.

"I thought that it was pretty dumb," He started. "but I didn't want Hanabi to be disowned by her clan, so if our marriage was the only way for Hanabi to stay in touch with her family, I was okay with it." Naruto finished.

Hinata was confused by this. She knew that Naruto was selfless, but to this extent? He was essentially giving up romance for his entire life, something that no one should have to do.

"Even when you don't have those kind of feelings for her?" She questioned.

"Pretty much, and it wasn't like I had anyone like that since Sakura." He responded, looking up at the sky. By this point, he had accepted the fact that his feelings for Sakura would never be reciprocated. His old feelings for her had been replaced with feelings that siblings would have for each other.

It honestly amazed Hinata how unselfish and considerate he was. She didn't know if she knew anyone who would do something like this for someone they didn't know very well. Nonetheless, it was time for her to start getting on the topic of her feelings.

"Do you." Hinata paused, trying to gather her words. "D-Do you think that you could do the same for someone who wasn't in a position that Hanabi was in?" She asked.

The way she said that made her seem selfish, and the question itself was pretty dumb. Not that she'd ask Naruto to accept her feelings if he didn't feel the same way she did, Hinata would never do something like that. Naruto looked to be deep in thought and his face seemed to show many different emotions before he finally responded.

"No, because the only reason I agreed to marry Hanabi was because she would be disowned had I not married her. If I did the same for someone who wasn't in a situation like Hanabi, wouldn't that be like lying about my feelings?"

Before Hinata could ask another question, Naruto interrupted her.

"Hinata, what are all these questions for?" Naruto asked, wondering where she was going with this. Hinata sighed with a sad smile on her face.

She had been asking these questions to possibly find out what his response to her confession would be, and from the answers he gave. It seemed that she was too late, she had taken too long to confess her feelings (again).

"Naruto-kun, I-I...I'm in l-love with you." She watched as his jaw dropped. "I-I have been ever since we were at the a-academy." Hinata confessed, and she felt like she shouldn't have confessed her feelings at all. She knew what was coming, and the change in Naruto's face had confirmed her suspicions.

Naruto was shocked, he hadn't expected this at all. But at the same time, it felt like so many things about her made sense now that she confessed her feelings. Why she always fainted, stuttered around him, and could never hold a conversation with him for long was because of this. Though there was one thing Naruto wanted to know.

"Why? Why did you take so long to tell me?" He asked. It honestly didn't make sense to him why she'd wait so long to tell him. It'd been nearly 12 years since he'd entered the academy, and she had feelings for him the whole time.

"I w-was afraid. Afraid of being rejected." She responded.

Naruto didn't know what to say. He realized how dense he was and he cursed himself for it. He'd been pining after someone who didn't feel the same way as he did while Hinata had been doing the same thing, though she never took action. Naruto knew what had to be done. She had obviously confessed to him in hopes of a response, and she'd get one, just not the one she hoped for. Naruto just couldn't accept her feelings.

"I'm sorry Hinata, but I can't accept your feelings, I can only see you as a friend. If you had told me before, maybe I could've given it a chance, but right now, I can't." It was done, Naruto rejected her, and it pained his heart to do so. He could've sworn he saw a single tear fall down her cheek, but she turned away as soon as he started talking.

"S-So I was too late? I guess t-this is no one's fault b-but mines." She said between sniffles. "I think I should go." She said as she stood up, wiping her tears.

"Hinata...I'm sorry." Naruto apologized.

"Don't be, this is m-my fault." She said as she walked away.

Naruto honestly felt bad for her. The more he looked back on it, the more he realized just how much she liked him. Heck, she even sacrificed her life fighting for him when pain attacked. She'd even confessed! It occurred to him that he never did respond to her confession back then, and it made him feel even worse.

It was Ironic how Naruto never thought anyone would have feelings for him, but the one time someone did, he couldn't accept her feelings.

Thinking about confessions made his mind shift to Hanabi, and suddenly everything about how he had been feeling recently became clear as he walked home.

Hinata knew she was too late, she just had a feeling. Now the love of her life had rejected her. She didn't even want to think about it anymore. As more tears fell, she didn't even bother to wipe them as she headed toward the compound

She wouldn't blame anyone else but her because she knew that it washer fault. She was the one who was so shy, she was the one who never did anything about her feelings, she was the one who had given up on confessing her love for Naruto.

Once she arrived, she immediately collapsed on her bed and started to sob. She knew what would happen, but actually facing the truth was harder than she ever thought it would be. Now that Naruto had rejected her confession, there was no other choice but to try her best to move on.

She just hoped that by the time Naruto and Hanabi got together, if they got together, she'd be able to accept it.

Once Hinata and Naruto left, Hanabi couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about. Hanabi had a feeling that it had something to do with Hinata's feelings for the blonde, and she did not like that.

Frankly, she was tired of her sister's attempts at trying to work her way into his heart. It was pretty clear that Naruto didn't like Hinata in that sort of way, and she was sure that Hinata herself knew that the blonde only saw her as a friend.

That wasn't the only thing Hanabi was tired of though, as she was also getting tired of her friendship with Naruto. She didn't want to be Naruto's friend anymore, but something more. The more they talked, the more she cooked for him, the more they interacted, Hanabi couldn't help but feel closer to him, and Hanabi wanted him to feel closer to her, and that scared her.

Now, Hanabi wasn't the type of person to beat around the bush, she was pretty sure that she was starting to develop feelings for the blonde shinobi if she didn't already have them by now. Though that wasn't what scared her. What scared her was the chances of him not feeling the same way. It was pretty clear that when she had a crush on Konohamaru, he didn't feel the same way, but she really hoped that wasn't the case for Naruto.

She didn't even know where these feelings for him had come from. When she had first begun to stay at his house, she felt extremely grateful for the things he had done for her, but somewhere along the line, those feelings of gratitude turned into something close to love. She knew it wasn't love yet, but it was well on its way to reaching it.

Nonetheless, she didn't have any plans to confess her feelings anytime soon. Mainly because being confessed twice so soon would most likely overwhelm Naruto. Plus, she just wasn't 100% sure what her feelings were yet.

As the night started to show itself, Hanabi figured that she was getting a bit sleepy, so she decided to turn in for the night.

Naruto realized his feelings for Hanabi to be love. He was in love with her. From the empty feeling he would get when Hanabi wasn't with him, to the fact that he looked forward to Hanabi's cooking even though it wasn't that good. Naruto knew that it had to be love.

Hinata's confession had made him realized just how much he liked the brown-haired girl, and it also made him realize just how determined Hinata had to be to confess her feelings. Naruto didn't know if he would ever have the amount of confidence to confess.

Once he reached his house, he opened the door to see all of the lights off, he figured Hanabi probably went to sleep and decided he should probably do the same. Receiving a confession and then thinking about it and your feelings for someone else was fairly exhausting.

Once he grabbed a blanket and laid down, he wondered how Hanabi felt about him. Probably only as a friend, she had no reason to have any sort of feelings for him, but he also didn't like thinking about it that much. Just the thought that he and Hanabi might just be friends forever put a frown on his face. Nonetheless, he just hoped that if he ever decided to confess his feelings, that Hanabi would accept them.

Unbeknownst to him, the time to confess could come any time, on any day. Maybe even as soon as tomorrow.

A/N: Pretty sure the confession + the lemon will be in the next chapter, but that might change. I also don't think there will be another chapter focusing on Hinata. Thank you for reading this chapter, please comment if you're on Wattpad and review if you're on FFN

Also, I'm thinking of making another Naruto story after this one, who would you like Naruto to be paired with for my next story?
