Chapter 105: Wendy vs. Aquarius - Let's Have Fun in the Amusement Park!
"All we can do now is pray for their safety." Arcadios remarked, seeing Natsu and Eclipse Leo washed away by a beam of darkness.
"Hey, let's play!" Eclipse Aquarius chirped on her panda ride. "Let's play, I say!"
"No way!" Wendy chided. "I'm not going to play, not today."
"Wendy, what are you doing?" Carla asked. "Don't sink to her level."
"I will not play!" Wendy insisted.
"What a bore." Eclipse Aquarius pouted. "In that case, I wanna play, like it or not!"
"I don't believe it!" Carla gaped when Eclipse Aquarius brought out her water urn.
"All right, here we go!" Eclipse Aquarius fired a stream of water from her urn's sprout. "How's this?" the water swirled in the air, creating a spiral. "A huge waterspout! Cool, right?"
"Hey!" Carla activated her wings and scolded her partner. "This is no time to be impressed."
"Huh?" Eclipse Aquarius whined. "You don't think it's cool? Then, I'm sure you'll appreciate this." and laughed with water streams rained out from the waterspout at Wendy.
"That's dangerous!" Wendy shouted, Carla carrying the Sky Dragon Slayer off. "Someone's bound to get hurt."
"What destructive force..." Carla muttered, seeing the demolished carousel. "We can't be fooled by her appearance."
"Sorry." Eclipse Aquarius remarked. "Nobody gets to ride the merry-go-round anymore. But I'm not done playing." she fired off another waterspout.
"This isn't playing!" Wendy declared, Carla flying her back to dodge the attack. "It isn't fun, and since you won't stop, I'm going to punish you! Roar of the Sky Dragon!" she blasted her breath attack at the water tornado, only to have it deflected back at her.
"Now, that was fun!" Eclipse Aquarius beamed.
"What's so fun about that?" Wendy wondered, after she and Carla crashed into the bushes. "Why are you being so mean?"
"I'm not being mean!" Eclipse Aquarius protested. "I'm just playing."
"You are being mean." Wendy insisted.
"No, I'm not!" Eclipse Aquarius retorted.
"Yes, you are!" Wendy snapped.
"I told you not to sink to her level." Carla sweatdropped as bot girls continued their verbal barrage. "This isn't a quarrel between children. I stand corrected." she muttered. "This is a quarrel between children."
"If you don't play with me, I'm gonna get a little mad." Eclipse Aquarius pouted.
"I don't play with bad girls who do mean things." Wendy huffed.
"Then, I'll get mad!" Eclipse Aquarius snapped. "I'm not a bad girl." and blasted a stream of water at Wendy who ducked the attack.
"Let's get away!" Carla grabbed her partner and took to the skies.
"Now let's play tag." Eclipse Aquarius giggled. "Here!" she directed her dragon-shaped attack at the fleeing pair.
"This isn't like any game of tag I know!" Wendy fumed. "I'm done running away! Mean girls need to get what's coming to them. Put me down, Carla."
"Forget it." Carla objected. "You saw the force of the water before."
"Knock it off!" Wendy barked, only to result in Eclipse Aquarius giggling some more as she directed her water dragon at the fleeing pair.
"Too bad." Eclipse Aquarius beamed, Carla ducking underneath the incoming dragon's head and took off. "But I'm not done." the dragon's head reformed and looked around for its targets. "You're gone?" Eclipse Aquarius whined. "Now we get to play hide-and-seek. I'll find you!" she sent her construct to look. "I don't see them... okay then." she turned to her other side. "I'll find them this way." she unleashed the water dragon, which then demolished everything in its path.
"She's destroying everything!" Wendy gasped, as she and Carla peered out from a wall.
"There you are!" Eclipse Aquarius grinned, one of the water dragon's stray attacks forcing them out. "Now I'm gonna catch you!" the water tornado turned into a rain cloud and bombarded the pair with its spray.
"What is this rain?" Wendy winced. "It's like spears."
"Aw, they got away again." Eclipse Aquarius whined when Carla carried Wendy off.
"Aquarius!" Wendy frowned. "What did you do? The amusement park is wrecked!"
"Now it's my turn to hide." Eclipse Aquarius declared.
"I've had enough of hide-and-seek!" Wendy snapped.
"But I'm happy." Eclipse Aquarius beamed. "You finally said my name."
"You're really making me mad!" Wendy retorted. "You're just being reckless! Enough!"
"She really is mad." Carla muttered, Wendy pulling her off her back.
"Wing Slash of the Sky Dragon!" Wendy unleashed her attack.
"Time out." Eclipse Aquarius raised a hand. "Look over there!" she pointed. "Let's have ice cream!"
"Ice cream at a time like this..." Wendy wondered.
"Let's have ice cream, okay?" Eclipse Aquarius took Wendy's hand. "Come on, let's go!" she pulled Wendy to the ice cream stall.
"So, let's stop fighting, okay?" Wendy asked, after they finished their cones.
"I wasn't fighting." Eclipse Aquarius hopped off the bench. "Break time is over. Let's play again."
"Enough!" Wendy stammered when Eclipse Aquarius materialized her urn. "We had such delicious ice cream, so let's not, okay? Let's not spoil it by..."
"So fast!" Eclipse Aquarius gushed when Carla grabbed Wendy and took off into the air and fired a powerful blast of water at them, sending them into one of the passenger cars of the Ferris Wheel.
"She's coming!' Wendy warned.
"Do something!" the stuck Carla pleaded.
"It feels great to be so high up!" Eclipse Aquarius gushed, walking up the support beams of the Ferris Wheel. "Here I go! One, two..." she fired off a rain of water bullets at the Ferris Wheel beams, and sending one of the passenger cars crashing to the ground. "What fun!" she giggled. "My next one will be even bigger." she released an even larger water droplet when a blast of fire evaporated the water.
"Natsu?" Wendy turned to look at her fellow Dragon Slayer.
"Outta of the way!" Natsu screamed.
"I wonder where he came from?" Eclipse Aquarius mused.
"Wendy, I saved you from that one, anyway..." Natsu muttered, crashing into the passenger carriage Wendy and Carla were in.
"What's wrong?" Wendy hopped into the carriage. "Are you all right?"
"I'm not all right." Happy moaned under his partner. "Loke sent us flying with a mega-powerful punch..."
"This seems to be happening to me a lot." Natsu muttered.
"Carla, you're safe!" Happy looked up at the white Exceed.
"I'm not safe." Carla retorted. "Any fool can see that. Hurry up and help me."
"Natsu-onii-chan, you should play, too!" Eclipse Aquarius called.
"That's Aquarius?" Natsu echoed. "She's tiny. Cut it out!" he scolded as Eclipse Aquarius fired off her water blasts. "That's dangerous! Brilliant Flame of the Fire Dragon!" he fired his attack down at Eclipse Aquarius.
"Fire!" Eclipse Aquarius continued raining her attacks. "Fire!"
"There's no other way!" Natsu remarked. "We're getting outta here. Wendy, grab hold!" and punched the side of the carriage, freeing Carla in the process.
"Aquarius, please stop this!" Wendy pleaded after Carla took her out of the carriage. "If you keep standing there, it'll be dangerous for you, too!"
"Boring!" Eclipse Aquarius pouted. "Let's play more!"
"All right, that's it!" Natsu snapped, Eclipse Aquarius seemingly having no idea what her attacks were causing. "Roar of the Fire Dragon!"
"I'm not giving in!" Eclipse Aquarius stood firm, when Natsu's breath attack nullified her water.
"Natsu-onii-chan is a big meanie!" Eclipse Aquarius started wailing.
"Aquarius!" Wendy exclaimed, as the Ferris Wheel started breaking apart.
"But I still wanna play!" Eclipse Aquarius complained when a piece of falling metal hit her urn, accidentally causing her to fire off a stray water blast that knocked Carla off.
"Carla!" Happy took off after the white Exceed.
"Aquarius!" Wendy cried out to the falling Eclipse Aquarius. "I have to save her. Roar of the Sky Dragon!" she let loose her breath attack, cushioning Eclipse Aquarius' fall.
"You rescued me!" Eclipse Aquarius beamed after the pair landed safely on the ground. "Thank you!"
"You got dirty." Wendy patted the dust off Eclipse Aquarius.
"That's okay." Eclipse Aquarius assured. "I had fun."
"Next time, let's have fun that's no so dangerous, okay?" Wendy requested.
"Today's fun was dangerous?" Eclipse Aquarius asked.
"It was very dangerous." Wendy nodded. "I was really worried about you, Aquarius."
"Thanks." Eclipse Aquarius beamed. "But let's play again sometime, okay? I had so much fun."
"Well, shall we get back?" Wendy smiled and tapped the key on Eclipse Aquarius' head.
"A wonderful job, Wendy." Aeon Mercury smiled when the rod attached to Aquarius' gate fell to the ground.
