Chapter 110: When the Stars Fall

"Finally." Aeon Venus breathed in relief when the rod attached to Leo's gate cluttered down.

"Lucy, Yukino, not yet?" Aeon Mercury muttered. "You have to hurry, I can already feel Liberum's power from here."

"Nicely done." Aeon Pluto smiled when the rod on Libra's gate dropped down.

"Now we can join in the fight." Aeon Mars remarked, the rod on Virgo's gate falling to the ground.

"Time Storm." Aeon Pluto raised her Time Staff and teleported the Senshi group off to their new battlefield.

"No matter what you do, it'll be in vain." Eclipse Ophiuchus declared. "There is no way you can stop Liberum Verus."

"No way, my ass!" Natsu snapped, Happy taking him into the air. "You can bet I'm gonna stop it. Lucy, everyone, just destroy the celestial globe."

"Looks like we've landed right in the middle of the big fight." Aeon Saturn remarked, the Senshi appearing on the battlefield.

"The Senshi." Yukino gasped.

"Is that..." Aeon Mercury looked at the overgrown Ophiuchus. "Eclipse Ophiuchus?"

"You are being foolish, human." Eclipse Ophiuchus mocked. "I already told you it's in vain!"

"And I'm sick of you telling us crap!" Natsu retorted, Happy fling him in. "Iron Fist of the Fire Dragon!"

Eclipse Ophiuchus merely turned the attack back on Natsu with her ocarina.

"All she did was blow a whistle." Lucy noted. "So how...?"

"That's a snake charmer's dance of death." Hisui explained. "With that whistle, she can control the movement of everything she sees."

"Natsu!" Aeon Mercury shouted, jumping on top of a spiked stone. "I'll back you up! Appear! My Talisman!" she summoned her Mercury Lyre to her hands. "Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!" she began strumming her Talisman.

"Look out!" Wendy warned when the circling Celestial Globe shot out a ray of red light. "Crushing Fang of the Sky Dragon!"

"We have to destroy that celestial globe fast!" Hisui shouted, Aeon Pluto having defended the group from the shockwave with her Garnet Ball energy barrier.

"But it is dangerous to approach it." Arcadios pointed out.

"Wendy, let's just do whatever we can." Lucy said. "Fleuve d'étoiles!" she waved her energy whip at the celestial globe, the backlash sent her flying back.

"Wing Slash of the Sky Dragon!" Wendy took over.

"What should we do against all of this?" Carla cried out, the energy shockwave sent her and Wendy flying off.

"Mars Flame Sniper!" Aeon Mars released her fiery arrow.

"Jupiter Oak Evolution!" Aeon Jupiter sent her lightning-charged energy blasts to the fire arrow Aeon Mars fired.

"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!" Aeon Venus' multiple laser beams shot from her Love Whip and combined with Aeon Mars' fire-and-electricity-charged arrow.

"Saturn Death Beam!" Aeon Saturn fired her energy beam for good measure.

"Pluto Dead Scream." Aeon Pluto's energy orb merged with Aeon Saturn's attack and the Senshi's two combination attacks hit the hovering celestial globe. "Barely a dent." the Time Senshi was shocked.

"A flying human..." Eclipse Ophiuchus tsked. "How insolent. You..." she glared when her ocarina was countered by Aeon Mercury's Mercury Lyre. "You dare...!"

"It attacks us even if we just approach it..." Lucy was stunned. "But there has to be a way."

"I'll go after the celestial globe too." Yukino took out Deneb's key. "Deneb, destroy that celestial globe! Even Deneb's serious mode didn't work." she was shocked when the swan spirit was taken out.

"Pathetic human!" Eclipse Ophiuchus chuckled, having caught Natsu in her grasp. "How's this?" she slammed Natsu onto the snake's body.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Light Burst Sky Drill!" Wendy fired off her attack at the celestial globe.

"You are like ants gathering around sugar., and I shall crush you underfoot." Eclipse Ophiuchus declared. Another blow from her ocarina crumbled the surrounding rocks.

"Princess!" Yukino turned shocked at a falling slab was above Hisui.

"Dead Scream." Aeon Pluto's energy orb hit the stone slab, turning it into rubble. "Be careful." she warned as the celestial globe's light started shining. "It's starting."

"I can't do anything..." Hisui winced, the energy wave sending the group on the ground backwards.

"Liberum Verus has finally reached its final phase at last." Eclipse Ophiuchus stated, as she channeled her energy into the celestial globe above her. "When this red glow becomes filled up with all of my Astral Spirytus and unleashed upon all the constellations, the Celestial Spirit King will be bathed in ultimate power!"

"Lucy and the other Celestial Spirit mages are all connected to them." Natsu remarked. "Their hearts are connected with the Celestial Spirits. I won't let you cut the connection between them and the Celestial Spirits."

"That is enough of the dance of death." Eclipse Ophiuchus said. "Next comes the punishment of death!"

"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!" Aeon Mercury countered Eclipse Ophiuchus' energy blast with her water streams as Happy tried to get Natsu closer to Eclipse Ophiuchus.

"We'll make no progress at this rate." Yukino argued.

"But we don't know a way to break that thing." Lucy pointed out.

"Let's go!" Natsu told Happy as the pair closed in on Eclipse Ophiuchus. "If I can pulverize that whistle, everything will work out. Get in close, Happy!"

"Libra and the others are feeling this pain..." Yukino winced as the red light washed over them.

"And yet they sought their freedom..." Lucy muttered.

"I'm responsible for bringing all of this on..." Hisui whispered. "This agony is bestowed upon me by the heavens."

"This isn't the time for regrets." Lucy protested. "It's time to make a stand! It's time for us Celestial Spirit mages to face that celestial globe."

"Then to destroy that, it'll take all three of us together." Hisui looked at the other two Celestial Spirit mages. "With that celestial globe, we'll bring down the stars in the sky."

"The 'Gottfried' spell?" Aeon Pluto realized.

"That's right." Hisui nodded. "The super-magic since long forgotten, 'Gottfried'. I ask that the heavens make the stars descend to earth." she started the spell."

"Fools!" Eclipse Ophiuchus taunted, seeing the light pillar erupt from the ground. "The mighty light is almost filled. Don't you know it's already too late to do anything?"

"Illuminate... by all means... this land... this world... this land!" Hisui continued the spell. "By your hand, let everything be illuminated. Twinkling, shooting, falling... Let the stars descend before us! Gottfried!" the three mages fired the combined spell into the celestial globe.

"Black Fire Dragon Mode, Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Hidden Fire Form, Darkness Phoenix Blade!" with Aeon Mercury countering each of Eclipse Ophiuchus' attacks, Natsu closed in for the final blow.
