Chapter 112: Believe

"It's starting to change form." Gajeel noted as the Celestial Spirit Beast grew spikes on its back.

"Maybe it's powered up?" Lucy wondered when the Celestial Spirit Beast let out a roar.

"Be careful, everyone." Ezra warned. "It's gonna throw something at us."

"What the..." Reiana gaped, seeing the morphed Celestial Spirit Beast's energy beam destroy the planets around them

"At this rate, the Celestial Spirit World..." Lucy gasped.

"And it looks like we don't have the time to wait for Natsu and Happy." Ditea added.

"Anyway, let's beat that thing." Ezra instructed. "And gamble that they'll be back by then."

"Damnit!" Gray cursed, the group was knocked back by an energy wave after raining their attacks on the Celestial Spirit Beast. "It's attacking so we can't get in close."

"Yeah, if we can somehow take out those energy-generating stalks..." Ezra suggested.

"Club of the Iron Dragon!" Gajeel slammed his metal pole into one of the spikes as Gray rained his ice streams on the same spot.

"Focusing our attacks on one spot seems to be working little by little." Gray noted, reading another attack.

"Gajeel, Gray!" Ezra stabbed her sword into the crack and jumped out of the attacks' way. "Lucy!" she looked at the Celestial Spirit mage who was pulled the spike with her whip. "Just one more push!" her sword swing toppled the spike.

"Water Release!" Ulyo charged up her magic.

"Fire Release!" Reiana followed suit.

"Thunder Release!" lightning crackled around Litana.

"Light Release!" a blinding light aura erupted from Ditea.

"FLASH GOD CRY!" the four Guild Guardians called out, their respective elements exploded from their bodies. The four girls charged in, their powered stabs taking down a spike each.

"They're starting to discharge energy!" Ezra warned. "Everyone, dodge!"

"For crying out loud!" Gajeel growled, thrown back by the Beast's energy wave along with everyone else. "Club of the Iron Dragon!"

"It seems its attacks aren't as powerful as before." Ezra noted. "Then, our attacks are working."

"Ice Impact!" Gray fired his drill into one of the spikes, Gajeel hammering the drill in further.

"We still have a few of those stalks left." Ezra stated. "Anyone seen Natsu?"

"They haven't come out yet." Gray reported.

"FLASH GOD CRY!" the four Guild Guardians powered up again, cutting down four more spikes with their knifehands.

"Now what?" Gray demanded.

"Even though we destroyed all those stems." Lucy added.

"Is it drawing energy on something to gain power?" Ezra wondered. "This isn't good. It's trying to change forms again. If we don't stop it now..."

"Nice," Ditea muttered. "Just when it's going to morph again and we're nearly out of magic."

"No kidding." Reiana agreed.

"I can't hear their voices." Ezra blocked off the Celestial Spirit Beast's punch with her swords. "But I have faith in them. I have faith that Natsu and Happy will save our friends. Natsu and the others will come back. That's another reason we're gonna take you down." she deflected the punch.

"The final strike?" Ditea looked at the other Guardians.

"The final strike." Litana nodded.

"FLASH GOD CRY!" the four Guardians powered up once more, their knifehands striking the Beast's chest in one spot.

"Guys, hit it!" Ulyo shouted, the Guild Guardians moving out of the way for the others to focus their attacks on the spot. "Well, that was exhausting." she remarked, landing beside Gray when the Celestial Spirit Beast imploded from the inside out after Natsu took out the core with a 'Planetary Flames: Exploding Flame Edge'.

"You okay?" Gray looked at his magically-drained girlfriend.

"Ask me again after three days." Ulyo replied.

"The Celestial Spirit King!" Lucy gaped when the said ruler burst out from the rubble Ezra had pulled Natsu out of.

"That's quick!" Litana gasped when the Celestial Spirit King let loose a wave of light, reverting the Celestial Spirit World back to its normal state.

"Where's everyone who got turned into constellations?" Natsu asked.

"Right here!" Juvia ran up to the group, along with the other mages.

"So what happened with the Celestial Spirits?" Carla asked.

"Hey!" Loke called, the 12 Zodiac Spirits walking down the passageway leading towards the gathered mages.

"Virgo!" Lucy hugged the female Zodiac. "You really are your normal self!"

"I don't know why you're crying." Virgo stated. "Did something happen, Princess?"

"Maybe you don't remember anything?" Lucy guessed.

"I get to see your nice body even when you don't have something for me to do?" Taurus was in love-struck mode.

"Down, Taurus!" Litana scolded.

"Yes, Jupiter-sama..." the bull Zodiac backed down.

"Hi Natsu." Loke greeted. "Long time no see."

"You don't remember anything?" Natsu was confused.

"Then you don't remember acting stuck-up and saying things like, 'I hate women'?" Happy asked.

"Oh please." Loke scoffed and pulled Ditea to him. "I would never say anything like that. Right, Venus-sama?"

"I am utterly speechless." Ditea rolled her eyes.

Gray looked on in amusement as he watch the female half of the Pisces pair fret over Ulyo.

Reiana, on the other hand, was sweatdropping at Scorpio's poses.

With the 12 Zodiac reverted back to normal, the Spirit World King sent the humans back to their world.
