Secondary objective: prevent the Soulless from killing any innocent Humanes.

If one had been paying attention, and had an eye looking for something out of the ordinary, they would have spotted a line of metallic substance leap from the earth, as if some higher being was weaving a thread into the ground.
Canine Soulless spotted 15 feet away, accompanied by 2 humans. Stealth, or efficiency? Answer received; Intercepting & erasing.
This time, it was a bit more flashy. It was like watching a silver cobra striking out at the Beowulf. Most people would just see it and count their blessings. Unfortunately, a certain pair of bandits were the ones to have witnessed it. One would be perfectly happy to drown the memory down in root beer and move on with life. The other one was too curious at what the thread came from, and furious at it for stealing her kill.
Objective completed. Returning to the Hive.
