Back from a long absence is Werewolf of The Hill: Year Two. After being stuck on this story for longer I had planned (due to a busy personal life, writer's block, and reworking the plot for this story.). Plus lately I've been trying to start up my main goal of having KOTH multiverse series. As you know I have one started with a KOTH/Yugioh crossover, so at the end of this chapter I'll list my first idea which any of you readers are interested in writing that story please leave a review or a PM for further detail.

The campaign office of mayoral candidate Vergil Min was swamped, as the day of the election grew closer the phones rung non-stop, the campaign staff were scampering around as they proudly did their duties, and reporters kept going in and out after interviewing the man himself. Vergil watched everyone from his desk through the window of his office, ignoring his campaign manager, Selena Raptis as she tried to tell him something important.

"It's quite amusing how something as common as fear can unite so many people for a simple cause, for example helping me to become mayor of this idiotic town."

"Then why bother with the election," Selena asked, "half the town is already on your side."

"True, but there are those who still don't believe in my cause and to guarantee my place in city hall I need to convince them that I'm the right person for the job."

"How are you planning on doing that exactly?"

"According to most nature documentaries, when a wolf feels the time has come for a change within their pack they can challenge the alpha male to battle and if they win they're the new leader of the pack," Vergil explained, "in order to succeed in becoming mayor I first need to take out the alpha of the skeptical wolves, then their pack will declare me as their leader."

"What's your plan to convince this person?"

"I've already made arrangements to persuade Alren's most skeptical man that I deserve to become this town's next mayor."

Selena soon left the office with only one thought on her mind. Who is the most skeptical man in Arlen?

During that time in a familiar alley stood Arlen's most skeptical man yelling at Arlen's most paranoid man.

"Damn it, Dale, what did I tell you about putting cameras in my house," Hank Hill yelled at his friend Dale Gribble, "and don't you dare use that stupid DaleTech as an excuse."

"Please, Hank, give me some credit, those cameras are designed to pick up any ghostly activity."

"There are no such things as ghost."

"Tell that to the ghost I saw at the museum."

This argument was being witnessed by Allison Garfield, who has been spending extra time with Hank ever since Bill disappeared weeks earlier, the time they spent together lately felt more like one of her therapy sessions at psychiatric hospital than any thing romantic but seeing him yell at Dale was in her professional opinion good for him. She stood in the kitchen watching Hank as Bobby entered looking for something to eat.

"Good afternoon, Bobby." Allison greeted with out turning around

"Hello," Bobby replied as he grabbed a slice of leftover pizza, "so how is my dad doing?"

"He's yelling at Dale, so I say he's getting better but apart of him still blames himself for what happened to a Bill."

"They've been friends forever and ever since Mr. Dauterive's first marriage failed horribly my dad felt that he needed to protect Bill's happiness."

Allison smiled at the image of Hank as a knight in shining armor and what she saw next caused her to giggle for Dale had placed himself in a fighting stance getting prepared to fight Hank to settle whatever they were arguing about but all Hank had to do was take one step forward and Dale being intimidated by Hank's expression which gave him the signal that he was going to get his ass kicked ran off towards his own house arms flailing. Seconds later Hank entered the kitchen through the glass doors then sat at the table where he proceeded to rub his temples in annoyance of his friends actions.

"I can't wait for this got dang election to be over," Hank said, "then I hope when Ted Wasonasong wins everything will get back to normal."

"I'm sure they will," Allison agreed, "but Vergil Min has everybody so worked up about monsters that they're blindly supporting him."

"Well not me for I'm rational enough know that there are no such things as monsters, ghost, and any other crazy ass thing people imagine."

Bobby held back a chuckle at his father's statement for he knew that being a non-believer was just an act. The political talk soon ended when Hank decided that he was getting hungry, Allison suggested that they should eat out since the only thing in the Hill's fridge were leftovers and her kitchen isn't stocked to feed more than two people then return to her house for a movie. Later the Hills and the Garfields arrived at Burton's Prime Rib, a restaurant that is one of many Strickland Propane's customers that Hank personally handles, which he receives a yearly certificate at Christmas entitling him to a discount on their famous prime rib, thus this being one of the rare occasions he had honored it. Halfway through the meal Hank excused himself to the restroom leaving Bobby, Cameron, and Allison at the table, minutes later Hank stood over the sink washing his hands when another customer approached the sink next to him.

"Enjoying your meal?" The person asked

"I'm about to go out and finish it." Hank replied as he rinsed the soap off his hands

As Hank was leaving the bathroom the gentlemen discreetly slipped something into the pocket of his jacket. Hank rejoined the others at their table where he was able to savor every bite of the prime rib. Once everyone finished eating and the check was paid the two families left to go to Allison's for the movie. The Garfield's each changed into a comfortable pair of pajamas while the Hill's took off their jackets and removed their ties. Allison inserted the DVD before settling on the couch next to Hank while Bobby and Cameron sat on the floor. The movie ended two hours later in the cliché hero defeats the villain and saves the girl fashion, however Cameron was the only one didn't get to see it for she fell asleep. Allison walked Hank and Bobby to the door

"Well I'm glad we did this," Hank stated, "tonight went better than I thought."

"I'm happy to hear that, Hank," Allison said, "it means a lot to me to see you smile."

To Bobby's surprised his dad hugged her good night for out of all times he seem them together they never once hugged. The Hills later arrived at their home and got ready for bed.

"Dang it." Hank shouted from his room

"What?" Bobby asked as he checked on his dad

"I left my jacket at Allison's," Hank answered, "no point in worrying about it tonight, I'll just swing by and grab it tomorrow."

(2:30 a.m.)

Ring Ring

A sleepy Hank flopped his hand around on the nightstand trying to grab his cellphone, he quickly answered after he found his phone.

"Strickland Propane...I mean hello?"

He bolted up as soon as he heard a panicking Allison screaming for his help.

"Call the cops I'll be right there."

He quickly got dressed and ran to his truck which woke Bobby up in the process. No words were spoken as Bobby hurried and got into the truck before it left the garage. When they arrived at Allison's house the cops had already arrived. Scratched marks covered the front of the house and the door then broke through the window into the living room. Bobby saw Cameron standing outside talking to Detective Stokes.

"Cameron," Bobby shouted before running over to his friend, "what happened?"

"I don't know," Cameron stuttered, "I woke up on the couch to a strange noise, my mum came out, then there were sounds of something scratching against our house, and she told me to get into the basement where I heard something break through the window and my mum screaming."

Stokes watched as Bobby comforted Cameron who had began crying, he was getting ready to ask something when Hank walked up.

"Excuse me, detective," Hank called out, "is there any chance I can go inside?"

"Sorry, Mr Hill but the living room is a crime scene," Greg explained, "I can't let you in."

"At least tell me what happened to Allison."

"There wasn't a body but there was blood on the window seal and some on the floor so whatever broke in took her alive."

Hank couldn't believe this was happening again, with the deaths of Peggy and Ladybyrd last year and Bill disappearing after becoming a vampire weeks earlier it seems like a horrible nightmare. Bobby could tell his dad felt like life had gave him rotten lemons, so he decided to do something about it starting with helping his friend.

"Detective Stokes, will it be okay if Cameron stays with us tonight?"

"Sure, but here," Stokes replied as he handed Bobby a card, "when she's ready to talk some more tell her to give me a call."

"Thank you."

Stokes lead the three of them back to Hank's truck and after seeing them off he walked over to one of the scratch marks on the house and when no one was paying attention made an etching of the mark.

"Hey." Someone shouted

Greg quickly stashed the etching in his pocket before facing an officer who had another detective accompanying them.

"Something I can help you with detective?" Greg asked

"You can start by telling me why a former big city gumshoe is investigating a case in my jurisdiction?"

"I'm in the private investigation game now and I was on my way home from a stakeout when I saw the police cars," Greg explained, "so I decided to see what was going on."

"Okay, I'll let this slide if you tell me the whereabouts of the victim's daughter."

"She's staying with a friend whose father is dating her mother."

"Thank you, Stokes, your free to go," the detective dismissed him, "remember I want you to stay away from our crime scenes."

"Understood."

(Location Unknown)

Allison awoke to a frightening sound, she struggled to pick herself off the ground for the muscles and bones in her arms ached as if they were bound by iron chains. She gasped when she heard the noise again and realized it was the sound of something snoring. While her ability to see her surroundings was non-existent she could tell from her others sense that she was in a cave. She attempted to crawl away but her arms were too sore for her to get very far. Suddenly a light appeared and got closer to her, when it reached her she saw a person holding a flashlight. The light illuminated just enough to see Ted Wasonasong.

"Help me." She begged

"Sorry, my dear, while you're not the intended target you're considered a close second." Ted informed

"There is something in here we need to get out."

"That something is going to help our cause."

Allison was confused.

"Don't worry it'll all make sense soon just don't try to escape and you'll remain unharmed."

He pointed the light towards the source of the snoring. Allison let out a silent scream when she saw the thing that took her hostage.

So having Ted Wasonasong hold Allison hostage seems a harsh way to resume this story, however who doesn't love drama. As for the creature in th cave; well that'll have to wait until later. Now the first story I had in mind is KOTH superhero story which of course will star Bobby Hill but the type of hero he'll be and what powers he'll have will your choice. Stay Tuned.
