(The Hill's house: 9:12 a.m.)

Bobby sat by himself at the kitchen table barely touching the large pile of eggs and bacon he normally would eat. The morning had been quiet expect for the buzzing of a table saw in the garage, this meant this dad was randomly cutting wood trying to keep his mind off Allison. Cameron had slept in the den last night and as far as he could tell she was still asleep.

"Maybe a jog will clear my mind." He thought before going to his room to change

An hour into into his run he reached the street where Allison and Cameron lived, his mind recalled the events of last night and the huge scratches on the house. He wanted to go investigate himself but the police would mostly likely question his presence at an active crime scene.

"I figured I'd find you here, Bobby."

There wasn't a need for him to look for he knew the voice belonged to Jade.

"If you're going to accuse me of kidnapping Cameron's mom then that's a new low for you,Jade. "

"Despite how I feel about you at this moment I know you would never to anything to hurt Cameron or your dad."

"Thanks, Jade, that means a lot hearing you say that."

"I'm not going to come after you every time something bad happens in this town," Jade said, "who do I look like Mr. Gribble?"

Bobby looked at Jade for the first time during this conversation and just like him she was dressed in her running gear, she had her hair pulled back in a pony tail, and a pair of headphones around her neck.

"If you are that's your prettiest disguise ever." Bobby joked causing Jade to give him a weak smile

Suddenly a Channel 84 news van raced down the road towards Cameron's house.

"You've got to be kidding me?"

Bobby ran after the van with Jade close behind him. When they reached the house they were surprised to see a huge crowd gathered in front their friend's home. What really shocked them was Dale Gribble standing up front next to Vergil Min.

"No, no. God, no, please." Bobby begged

Jade had the same feeling in her stomach for if Dale and Vergil were up to what she thought they were this could also be trouble for her.

"People of Arlen, I present to you proof of yet another attack committed by the Arlen Werewolf." Vergil announced

"That lying pile of trash," Bobby growled, "how dare he exploit this for his stupid campaign."

"The victim, Dr. Allison Garfield, head doctor at the Arlen State Psychiatric Hospital, was in a romantic relationship with a close friend of my biggest supporter, Dale Gribble," Vergil informed, "so this proves that no one is safe, doctors, teachers, friends, and family, when it comes to monsters we're all at risk."

Bobby didn't want to listen to a another lie Vergil was spewing from his mouth. However Jade stopped him by wrapping her arm around his arm and pulled him back.

"Let me go, Jade." Bobby commanded as his irises turned yellow

"So you can rip apart Vergil Min in front of all those people and news cameras?"

"He is not going to pin me for this," Bobby said, "if I don't deal with him now then this will continue regardless if he wins or not."

"You murder him and you'll be exactly what he claims you to be, a monster." Jade stated

"Why do you care, you want me dead too."

"It's complicated but you kill him and you'll leave me no choice but to put you down."

"Then I guess Death will get my soul fourteen years earlier."

"Hold on, are you saying you sold your soul to Death?"

"I'll explain everything later just let me go."

With quick thinking she removed her silver wolf bracelet and placed it on Bobby's wrist causing him to cry out in pain. Luckily this did not draw attention to them as Jade pulled Bobby away from the crowd. Once they were far enough she took her bracelet back that left a mark around his wrist.

"We're even."

"For what?"

Jade opened her jacket to show the claw marks Bobby had gave her last year.

"Now if you want to find Cameron's mother then I suggest an approach that doesn't put either of us in jeopardy."

Suddenly they heard another vehicle approached they glanced and saw Hank's truck pulling up to the house.

"Oh no," they both gasped

When they reached the house Hank had already broke through the crowd and approached Vergil.

"I'm going to kick your ass," Hank bellowed, "how dare you exploit this tragedy, a friend of mine is watching Allison's daughter for me because she's too afraid to leave my house and your turning this crime into a witch hunt."

"Werewolf hunt actually." Dale corrected

"Shut up, Dale."

"You must be Hank Hill, the skeptic Dale told me about." Vergil guessed

"Five months I have listened to your asinine speeches about werewolves, ghost, vampires, and other monster you see in crappy B-movies and I put up with it but when you involve the second woman I ever cared about then you better be prepared for a fight."

"Mr. Hill, there is no need for violence," Vergil stated, "when everyone votes next week..."

"Funny you say that for that's where I'm planning to send you when I kick your ass."

Both Bobby and Jade could tell Min had just lost all patience with Hank.

"What happened to Dr Garfield is tragic but it not my fault she couldn't protect herself from the werewolf," Vergil said in a harsh tone, "so don't threaten me because you couldn't save her like Peggy."

Smack

Vergil fell to the ground, he look up at Hank who was preparing to punch him again.

"Arlen used to be a great town but you polluted it with your supernatural nonsense." Hank shouted before several cops restrained him

"It's okay,". Vergil announced, "you're not an official politician until someone punches you."

"I might not believe in this werewolf but I do know one thing."

"Which is what, Mr. Hill?"

"You're a rat."

This seemed to get Vergil's attention

"Excuse me?"

"A rat, you have brought a disease to this town."

This seemed to drastically shift Vergil's mood as he went from calm to furious in seconds.

"Take him away." Vergil shouted to the cops

"Dad!" Bobby shouted as he ran up

The cameras were now focused on Hank as the cops placed him inside one of their squad cars. Vergil walked away from the crowd where Selena (she was there the whole time.) inspected the bruise on his face before taking him to his limo. Once inside Vergil smiled for everything was going perfectly.

"So much for making Hank Hill a believer."'Selena sighed

"Relax, this is better," Vergil stated, "turning him into a outcast will work as well."

"What about the woman?"

"That's up to Mr. Wasonasong, if he wants her alive or dead it's his choice."

He looked down at his watch and checked the time.

"Speaking of Ted, he is scheduled to make an appearance at the park in an hour," he said before looking at Selena, "make sure he shows up."

"No problem."

(4:38 p.m.)

Bobby sat alone in his room as he frantically read all his books searching through various myths, legends, folk tales, and any thing that could help him discover the identity of the monster that took Allison. However he had trouble concentrating for his dad was going to spend the night in a holding cell for assaulting Vergil Min while Dale publicly volunteered to watch over Cameron in case the Arlen Werewolf came for her. Bobby decided to call Berry for help but quickly remembered that he was at his cousin's wedding. Without help from Berry or Cameron that only left him with one choice and he hoped it was a good one.

(The LaRue House)

"You're beginning to make me regret my decision, Joan."

Jade stared at her computer as her boss scolded her while showing her the news clip filmed earlier.

"I believed you were trained well enough to operate on your own," her boss stated, "but the last few reports you've sent is slowly convincing me other wise."

"Besides the gargoyle and the necromancer there has been nothing much to report." Jade informed

"Yet the local news channel and police reports have evidence that there have been sightings of the werewolf you can't seem to locate."

"Those are nothing but hoaxes orchestrated by supporters of Vergil Min."

"I can sense you're lying to me, Joan," her boss said, "if you don't have proof of another encounter with the werewolf by the next scheduled briefing then I'll have no choice but to send someone better trained to help you hunt that monster down."

"I thought you were giving me until April?"

Her boss didn't answer as they signed off from the conversation leaving Jade to sit at her desk conflicted.

"I know you're there, Bobby." She called

"How did you know I was here?" Bobby asked as he crawled through her window

"I was trained to hunt and kill monsters figure it out."

"Funny you mention your training because I was hoping you help me find what took Cameron's mom."

Jade stared at Bobby as the words from her boss raced through her mind. She admitted to herself that Bobby and her had worked well together in the past like when they faced the Chupacabra, Solomon Volkner, and recently Bill's zombified wife. However things were becoming complicated and thanks to this mysterious monster plus the town wanting the werewolf's head on a silver stake her boss was getting impatient.

"Okay I'll help you but promise me you'll stay human." Jade asked almost begging

"I'll try but if we find the monster responsible then I'll need to use my abilities to fight." Bobby partially accepted

"Maybe you don't have to use your wolf form."

She went over to her closet where she pulled out a chest that was hidden under the floorboards. Inside the chest were various guns and knives, she took out a pump action shot gun which she handed to Bobby along with extra rounds and a knife. While she armed herself with her bow and arrows, sword, taser, and daggers.

"You're not taking your gun?" questioned Bobby

She didn't respond as she turned off her bedroom light then crawled out her window with Bobby right behind her.

While they went off to investigate; Greg Stokes was investigating the case himself. He was in his den of the house he bought when he decided to move to Arlen to gather more intel on the events he had witnessed during the Ryker/McKay case. His den contained various books on the supernatural along with a map of Arlen with pins placed at the locations of all werewolf sightings. Greg was sitting on his couch comparing the etching of the claw marks he took at the crime scene to pictures of ones created by different animals. However he started to notice that the marks didn't match any known canine species.

"If a werewolf didn't leave these marks then what did?" Greg asked himself

(The Garfield house)

Bobby and Jade had arrived their friend's home where they quickly hid behind a nearby tree , once they saw that a patrol car came by every few minutes to make sure do one had broke in they waited for their window.

"Once the next car comes by we have a little over five minutes before the next one." Jade informed

Minutes later the patrol car passed thus giving them their short window. He hurried to the house and right away began investigating. Bobby stood by and watched as Jade walked over then knelt down to get a better look at the claw mark (same one Greg made an etching of.). After a minute of examining the mark she came to a conclusion.

"You're being framed," Jade stated, "these aren't your claw marks."

"How you know?" Bobby asked

Jade rolled her eyes and pointed her her right arm.

"Oh yeah, so you're saying there's another werewolf out there causing trouble?"

"No," Jade said as she stood back up, "these marks were made by a different creature."

"That just happened to target Cameron and her mother?"

"Not saying this wasn't planned, now sniff the air."

"What."

"Use your enhanced sense of smell to sniff the mark and tell me what you smell." Jade explained

"Okay, just don't laugh." Bobby agreed as he stood in front of the mark where he leaned over then inhaled getting a scent

"So pick up anything?" Jade asked

"Yeah, smells like a cat," Bobby informed but then took another sniff, "wait, now it smells like a bird."

"Which one, Bobby?"

"I don't know it's almost as if the scents are mixed as if it's the same creature."

"That's impossible there is no such...," Jade began to say when she remembered something, "scratch that, there is such a thing but how it got here is puzzling."

"You know what took Cameron's mom?"

"Yeah, and if I'm right then she's in a lot of trouble."

Seems Jade's Crusader training has come in handy, hopefully she's knows how to beat this monster and help rescue Allison. Stay Tuned.
