(Hill residence)

Bobby had just parked the Cadillac in the driveway then he along with Jade got out of the car. To Jade's surprise Bobby sat down in one of the chairs in between the doors to the living room and kitchen. Having known him for over a year Jade had never once seen Bobby not rush into his house unless something else was going on. She walked over and sat down in the empty chair next to him.

"You alright, Bobby?" she asked

Bobby didn't say anything for a minute.

"Not exactly," he replied, "I can't get what happened with Joseph out of my mind."

"I remember you talked about your previous friendship with Joseph," Jade said, "I can't imagine what it would like have a friend turn on you like that."

Bobby glanced over at her.

"You threatened to kill me multiple times the past few months." Bobby reminded her of their little fallout

"I only distanced myself because I hoped if I had to kill you it would been easier." Jade explained

"I understand but the fact is that Joseph broke off a decade old friendship for popularity."

"Why do I feel like there's something you're not telling me," Jade pried, "you promised no more secrets remember?"

"Yeah, I know, it's just that when Joseph knocked me to the floor a part of me wanted to transform and severely harm him."

Jade was silent for a moment as she tried to think of the right thing to say. She had accepted him as a werewolf, but deep down there was a part of her that feared there would be a day where Bobby would lose control and she would have to kill him. Today however eased that fear a bit for Bobby didn't wolf out and attack Joseph. Jade quietly exhaled before she spoke up.

"I'm not a werewolf so I can't imagine what went through your mind, but the point is that you didn't transform, you controlled the wolf it didn't control you."

"I guess your right," Bobby agreed, "I can't promise the man in me won't deck him if he tries using you as an accessory again."

"I'm so glad I have a big strong man protecting me from the ruffians in this town." Jade said with her best impression of a southern belle

"Well, Miss LaRue, it's an honor to defend a lovely lady like yourself." Bobby said as he mimicked John Wayne

This led to the two of them laughing which lasted a minute until they heard something coming from the Gribble's yard. They both got up and headed towards the fence then peeked over. In Dale's yard they saw Dale in his RATS uniform along with eleven other people also dressed in RATS uniforms. Not to their surprise five of the members were Chane and his friends What really surprised them was when Joseph appeared in the uniform and stood next to Dale.

"Welcome, Ratters," Dale greeted, "I like to start by saying that I admire you folks for stepping up to protect are fair town from the supernatural threat."

"The Arlen Werewolf framed my father for kidnapping Allison Garfield and causing him to get withdrawn from the election." Chane spoke up

"I still believe Vergil Min was the better choice; I do however agree that the Arlen Werewolf shouldn't had interfered and ruined the life of an innocent man." Dale stated

"That beast along with another freak trashed a gala a few months ago." Another Ratter added

"You're forgetting about those warehouse workers and that woman he slaughtered." A second Ratter shouted

"Yes, the Werewolf is to blame for all those including the assault on my dear friend Octavio who until yesterday was in critical condition," Dale stated, "and let's not forget he's responsible for putting Rainy Street's very own Herve LaRue in a coma."

Bobby turned to see how Jade would react to that comment, unfortunately she stormed around the fence and onto Dale's yard.

"HOW DARE YOU!" She screamed, "HOW DARE YOU USE MY FATHER TO ENFORCE YOUR STUPID CAUSE!"

"You should rejoin RATS, Jade," Joseph said," like my dad said the Arlen Werewolf is why your dad is in the hospital."

"First off I will never rejoin this pathetic club," Jade retorted, "plus the werewolf isn't responsible, it was a demon; Mr. Gribble knew that for he was there when my father traded his soul not only to save me but to save the lives of his friends including Mr. Gribble."

"You don't have to be such a bitch, LaRue." Chane snarked

Jade went to rip Chane's throat out, but Bobby had come around and was able to pull her away. Jade struggled in Bobby's grasp for a minute until the urge to kill Chane ceased. He took her to her house when as soon as they reached the glass door she turned around, pressed her face into his left shoulder then started to cry softly. As he remembered as clearly as when he promised her by her father's hospital bed that he would do everything he could to track down Iago. The two remained embraced until Jade stopped crying and broke away from him.

"I'm so sorry that you had to see that," Jade apologized as she wiped away a tear, "I praised you for not letting your inner beast take control and yet I went berserk and tried to kill Chane."

"It's okay they were disrespecting your father which times like that it's okay to release your inner beast," Bobby stated, "however unleashing it on Chane isn't worth it."

"It should."

"Besides now I know you can be scary even when you're out of your Crusader outfit." Bobby joked

Jade smiled as she playfully hit his arm. They then stood there staring at each other for what seemed like forever until they were broken out of their trance by the sound of Hank's truck horn. They turned their attention towards the fence and saw Hank was carrying in some groceries.

"I better go help him." Bobby blurted out

"A true gentleman." Jade said in her southern belle voice

Bobby raced back over to help his dad as Jade went inside. Later that evening Bobby was sitting on this bed skimming through various supernatural related books. It was around nine thirty when Hank knocked then entered after Bobby gave him the all clear. Hank gazed around the room and noticed all the books laying around.

"Mr. Murdock piling on the homework again?" Hank joked breaking the ice

"No, I'm searching for a way to track down Iago." Bobby replied from behind a book

"You sure you want to do that, Bobby?"

"I have to find him, I promised Jade I would do everything in my power to track him down."

"I understand, but Iago hasn't bothered us since that day; what makes you think you can find that bastard?"

Bobby set down the book he was reading and looked up at his dad.

"Shortly before you got home Mr. Gribble was talking to his new batch of Ratters and of course he blamed everything on the Arlen Werewolf, including Jade's dad."

"I can't believe Dale dragged Herve into this mess."

"You have to do something about Mr. Gribble," Bobby begged, "I know he's done crazy things in the past, but I'm afraid he's going to do something horrible that can't be forgiven."

"I've tried talking to Dale to snap him out of this nonsense," Hank said, "but it's that damn Vergil Min, he has Dale convinced that they're Arlen's saviors."

Hank walked over and sat down in the chair in front of Bobby's desk.

"Things were simpler when Dale thought the government was evil."

"In this case he would be right for I suspect Mayor Min is up to something," Bobby said, "once I find Iago and save Jade's dad I'll find out what that is exactly."

Hank stared at his son and saw the determination in his eyes.

"I know you want to save Herve, hell I do too, but even if you locate Iago what makes you think he'll give Herve's soul back."

"That's another thing I'm trying to figure out," Bobby informed, "however none of these books give any clues on how to kill a demon."

"It's a shame you don't have Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth," Hank said which made Bobby stare at him confused, "what, Wonder Woman was popular in the 70's, your mother sure loved that show."

Hank stood there for a moment then realized why he came to see Bobby.

"I almost forgot, Allison is coming home tomorrow, but as you know their house is greatly damaged so if it's alright with you I told Allison that her and Cameron could stay here until the repairs are finished."

"You didn't have to ask," Bobby said, "Cameron is one of my closes friends, hell she might be my stepsister someday."

Bobby could see his father was blushing.

"Well, Allison and I aren't anywhere close to that," Hank stammered as he rubbed his neck, "we just started holding hands."

"That's a pretty big step for you."

"It took longer than it did with your mom, with her I first held her hand after only dating her for a few weeks."

"I remember mom telling me that, it was after you snapped your ankle at State."

"Yeah, well with how Jacob Thompson is coaching this year we might have a chance to redeem ourselves."

"You should have been at school today," Bobby chuckled, "Miss Bloodworth got Coach Thompson so furious."

"I'm listening."

(Arlen High)

Coach Thompson was in his office late with Cyrus watching game footage of McMaynerberry from their past three games. They were both six beers in of a twenty-four pack and Jacob started to get a buzz while Cyrus, who unbeknownst to Thompson was a demon thus remained unfazed by the alcohol.

"See if we move Rogers, Barnes, and Wilson to the right then that give Gribble plenty of room to score." Jacob said as he started slurring every other word

"That actually is a good idea," Cyrus complemented, "I guess I'm starting to rub off on you."

Jacob laughed almost falling out of his chair in the process. He soon stopped laughing as he opened another beer. Ten minutes later they had quit watching the game footage and Jacob was so drunk that he was more beer than man at that point. This was the moment Cyrus was waiting for, he reached down to grab his briefcase which he purposely slammed on Thompson's desk startling the drunken oaf.

"Before I drive you home I need you to sign something." Cyrus said as he pulled out a piece of paper

He handed it to Jacob, who in his drunken state couldn't make out any of the words.

"Can't read." Jacob slurred

"This contract gives me soul ownership of you and the team after the big game; that I guarantee you'll win." Cyrus explained the details of the contract

Jacob sat there not saying a word. Cyrus was starting to regret getting his pathetic excuse of a coach and human drunk.

"Way to go, Cyrus, it's the O.J Simpson trial all over again."

"The Juice, where do I sign." Jacob said

Cyrus smirked as he helped Thompson find the bottom of the contract and watched as the sauced buffoon signed away his mortal soul along with the souls of the players.

"Congratulations, Jacob, after Friday the Mavericks will be the best high school football team not only in the state of Texas but in Hell."

"Mavericks." yelled Jacob for his drunken mind didn't process the last part of that sentence

He went to grab the last beer in the pack; before he could grab the can he passed out face down on his desk and on the contract.

Cyrus rolled his eyes as he walked over to Jacob. Then with his right hand he lifted the drunk's head off the contract that he quickly grabbed with his left. He let go of Jacob's head and watched in amusement as it slammed on the desk followed by the coach bolting out of his chair then immediately tripping over his own duffel bag and landed on the floor. Cyrus looked around as if he was expecting someone to show up

"No Death," Cyrus said with slight disappointment, "I guess the bastard is alive, good thing for the contract did say I get his soul after the big game Friday, so if he died I'd be down a soul and Iago would be pissed."

Cyrus glanced down at the drunken coach one last time before vanishing into thin air.

Now if you didn't see the update I made to part 1 of this episode, simply got back and read it. the reason for the two part episode is because episode 5 would've been ten parts long and outside some story from Classic episode of Doctor Who I've never heard of any show with ten parts episodes. Also there was a lot of stuff I wanted in the story and didn't remove. Although I did remove a bunch, this meaning Episode 5 will be in 5 parts and Episode 6 will be in 4 parts. Stay Tuned.
