Before the end of the war Voldemort forced Lucius to rape Ginny. Punishment would have been the death of the Malfoys. He was without a wand and had to commit the act. Lucius spent five years wondering why he was never charged with that crime. Lucius finds that his darkest moment produced the brightest light. He now share a daughter with Ginny. Most amazingly Ginny understood.
