Severus was in shock as he was holding the potions that Madam Pomfrey asked him to bring to Draco's and Harriet's apartment dorm for Marriage 101, but wasn't sure what was going on at first.
Draco looked at Severus and said bluntly, "Professor Snape, Harriet is actually pregnant with twins. One boy and one girl; apparently Teddy seemed to sense this immediately."
Severus paled as he realized what this meant and said, "Meaning, that your wife will actually be giving birth to an heir and a heiress of your family in only one and half months?!"
Draco nodded.
"What do you mean, Severus?" Pomfrey asked.
"From what I understand is that Harriet and Draco chose their wedding date for Marriage 101 was December 24th and for the simulated pregnancy they chose February 14 th that their children would be due in month and a half." Severus said.
Madam Pomfrey was in shock.
Harriet tugged Draco's sleeve and Draco handed her a cup of water then handed her the calming potion for her stomach. Harriet knocked the potion back then took another sip of water.
Then Harriet said, "Professor Snape, I'm sure with your's and Madam Pomfrey's help everything will smoothly as the help with Draco's parents."
Professor Snape nodded.
"I'll inform the Headmistress of this and I'll continue checking on you, Mrs. Potter-Malfoy." Pomfrey said leaving the room.
Harriet nodded in agreement.
After Madam Pomfrey left; Professor Snape lingered for a while.
"So I suppose that Lucius and Narcissa will be excited to be grandparents so soon?" Severus said.
Harriet giggled and said, "I warned Draco to expect the unexpected when he chose to date well court me."
Draco chuckled and said, "That you did, my love."
"So what do you plan to name them?" Severus asked.
"The boy's name will be Scorpius James Potter-Malfoy and the girl's name will be Serenity Lily Potter-Malfoy. If we have anymore children after the twins then we will decide the names once again." Draco answered.
Severus was stunned.
"When Draco and I first got together; I did let Draco know that I would want a big family but if he didn't want a big family that I would be okay with that." Harriet said.
"And told her that I was okay with having a big family." Draco said.
"Even though, you two didn't know about the marriage contract; how did you two get together exactly?" Severus questioned.
"Would you believe that we got together in our 4th year but kept well hidden?" Harriet said.
"How did that happen?" Severus asked.
Draco began to explain what exactly happened after that day and how he had been really worried for Harriet. However, Harriet told him well asked him to pretend that they were still rivals in a way. When Draco was finished; Severus completely stunned.
"I see...but could explain why Phineas Black was talking in riddles and accused Dumbledore of Bloodline Theft?" Severus questioned.
Harriet giggled and said, "I was the one who casted the spell which I assume you already knew, Professor Snape. However, the accusation of Dumbledore of attempting Bloodline Theft is accurate. I found out about it during 5th year after Sirius was killed when I had to take care of his affairs after his death from Gringotts. Then I wrote to Draco about it." Harriet said.
Severus was lost in thought from what he had been told so far.
"Uncle Sev?" Draco said.
Severus looked at Draco and said, "Yes?"
"It was also during that time that Harriet found out that her and Voldemort were distant cousins from the Peverell Bloodline. When she told me that; I began to wonder why two distant cousins were going to kill each other." Draco said.
"So that's why Phineas said a distant cousin well a snake from beyond was protecting a dear cousin. I'm not sure if that was his exact wording though." Severus said.
Both Draco and Harriet nodded.
"What about 6th year?" Severus questioned.
"Harriet and I were still keeping our relationship a secret but she wrote to Voldemort and told him everything that she could; she asked him tell her what he thought about this information that she had found out." Draco said.
"And what did Voldemort say?" Severus questioned curiously.
"He said that he did a family tree potion to see if it was true. When he found out what Harriet said was true; he was in shock or at least from what I could tell was shock. He said that he would write Harriet back and tell her to continue with the prophecy regardless." Draco stated.
Tears were now falling from Harriet's eyes as she said, "He also told me in his letter that he would greet death as a friend and repent deeply for hurting me by protecting me from beyond the grave."
"Mrs. Potter-Malfoy, how is it that you didn't know about the marriage contract between you and Draco?" Severus asked.
"I'm exactly sure but my guess would be that I wasn't allowed to know about it until the time was right. However, I did find forged marriage contract between Ron and myself because the goblins informed me of it and that it had been disintegrated because it had been forged illegally." Harriet said.
At that moment, there was a knock.
"Come in."
Ron and the others came in. They saw Professor Snape and wondered what he was doing here.
"Harriet, mum and dad are getting a divorce." Ron said.
Harriet was confused.
Ginny sighed and said, "Dad found out that mum tried to arrange a marriage between you and Ron to make you really part of the family. That's why Ron and I sent our spouses for Marriage 101 to your's and Draco's wedding over the holidays. We told mum that we had somewhere to be but she wasn't having it."
Harriet blinked for a moment or two as things were starting to come together. Then she looked at Draco and said, "Draco, darling, how much you want to bet that the reason the forged marriage contract was terminated by the marriage contract between us that had been forged by family magic as well as protected by that same magic?"
"I would agree, love." Draco said.
Hermione noticed a photo album and asked, "Draco? Harriet? Is that a photo album? May I look at it?"
"Sure." Harriet said.
"The album is a wedding gift that we received; so our friends are welcome to see it as well as those we consider family." Draco said.
Hermione opened the album and gasped at what she was seeing in the album.
"What is it, Hermione?" Blaise asked.
Hermione handed the picture album over to Blaise and he was stunned by what he was seeing in the album.
Everyone was now looking at the album; while Draco and Harriet were watching their reactions as their friends and those considered family looking at the picture album.
"Oh, Salazar! You two really did travel back in time and Harriet's parents along with several others!" Blaise said still looking at the album.
"We did and we enjoyed our time with Harriet's parents." Draco said.
"What were they like?" Pansy asked.
"They were wonderful people; however, it was a younger Professor Lupin that was figuring everything out while we were there." Draco stated.
"You saw a younger Professor Lupin?" Lavender questioned.
Both Draco and Harriet nodded.
"I don't think that that's the only professor that they met in a younger state." Seamus stated pointing at a picture.
Everyone looked at a picture and it was a younger version of Professor Snape and was shocked.
Snape cleared his throat.
"Professor Snape?" Daphne questioned.
"There are some unusual moments in there as well." Severus said.
Everyone wondered what he meant until Neville said, "Is that a picture of Sirius Black. with his bum on fire?"
"It is and that's a picture of Draco putting it out." Luna said looking over Neville's shoulder.
When everyone rushed to see that picture well pictures and they were laughing.
"What happened?" Hermione questioned.
"That was when Harriet wanted to surprise everyone with a special dessert after dinner and Sirius tried to taste it. You could say Harriet's inner prankster comes out when she's in the kitchen at times." Draco answered.
In the afterlife...
"How did that picture end up in that album?!" Sirius asked.
"It was funny, Padfoot." James said.
"You seriously put that picture in there, Prongs?!" Sirius questioned.
James nodded.
"Sirius, we wanted Harriet to have memories of when she had visited in the past." Lily said.
Sirius sighed and said, "I guess it would be a great memory but now that I think about it that flame on my bum wasn't really hot."
Remus and Nyphmadora looked at Sirius and laughed.
"What's so funny, Moony?" Sirius questioned.
"You know Harriet would never intentionally harm you." Remus stated.
"I know, but Bambi is just like her mother when she wants to be which is scary. No offense, Lily." Sirius said.
"Non taken, Sirius." Lily said.
"I wonder if Harriet figured out how to send us pictures of our future grandchildren to the past for us to see them, Lily?" James said suddenly.
"I believe that she will, so let's watch and see what her and Draco do." Lily said.
Suddenly, Fred appeared because he sort of went to visit his family to see how they were doing.
Sirius and Remus noticed that Fred was in shock and asked him what was wrong. Fred told them what was happening in the Weaseley household. They were in shock to hear that piece of news.
"Well, there's nothing that you can do about that, Fred." Tonks said.
"I know, but it is upsetting to know that my mother wanted Harriet to marry Ron. I mean, Harriet was already like a little sister to me, George, Bill, and Charlie as well as Ron, Ginny, and Percy. We never thought about her marrying into the family because George and I had a hunch that Harriet liked well was in love with Draco Malfoy because they always bickered like a married couple anyway." Fred said.
The Maurders along with Lily and Nyphmadora just smiled understandingly.
Back to the mortal world (January)...
Draco noticed that Harriet was getting tired and said, "I believe we will have to call it a day because Harriet needs her rest."
Everyone turned to see that Harriet was indeed getting sleepy that they said their goodbyes.
"Draco?" Severus said.
Draco looked at Severus and said, "Yes?"
"What did you and Harriet think about your manor that was a wedding gift that you spent your honeymoon in?" Severus asked.
"It was beautiful." Draco said.
Harriet spoke sleepy, "Imagine my surprise when I saw Dobby and Winky greeting us at the manor."
"Yes, well Lucius decided to prevent the death of the two house elves that you seemed to have helped." Severus said, "James immediately bound them to the Potter-Malfoy Manor along with the other house elves that had been at the Manor before hand. The elves also helped with the remodeling to the Manor to make it to your liking." Severus said.
Harriet let out a yawn.
"I believe you need to get your wife to bed, Draco. She has had a busy day and I believe the morning sickness as taken a toll on her." Severus stated.
"Of course, Uncle Severus. Good night." Draco said as scooped Harriet up and walking to the bedroom.
"Good night, Lord and Lady Potter-Malfoy." Severus said as he left.
The next morning...
Dobby appeared with breakfast for his Master and Mistress. It had everything that was healthy for Harriet to eat and along with a few of her cravings that his Mistress wanted.
Dobby knocked on the door.
"Enter."
Dobby entered the room.
"Good Morning, Dobby." Draco said.
"Good Morning, Sir. Dobby brought yours and Mistress' breakfast." Dobby said.
"Thank you, Dobby." Draco said.
"Master Draco is welcome. Is there anything that Dobby or Winky be helping with?" Dobby said.
Draco smiled and said, "Dobby, did the head elf tell you and Winky to stay with us; while we were finishing our education?"
Dobby nodded and said, "While wes at the manor, Winky was trained to help with birthing as well as after care in case Mistress gave birth at Hogwarts."
Draco understood what Dobby was saying because he himself had a feeling suddenly that there was a possibility that Harriet may give birth while they were still in school. Then he said to Dobby, "It doesn't hurt to be prepared, Dobby."
Dobby nodded in understanding.
"Dobby, would you mind getting mine and Harriet's school work for us because I can't shake the feeling that Pomfrey will suggest that Harriet will be put on bed rest eventually but collect our school for the week because Harriet's morning sickness is a little strong and I wouldn't want her to go to class and she is feeling miserable." Draco said.
Dobby nodded and went to do what was asked of him.
A few minutes later, Harriet woke up and smelled the delicious breakfast but before she could eat; Winky appeared with a calming potion so she could keep her food down.
"Thank you, Winky." Harriet said.
"Yous welcome, Mistress." Winky said.
Draco smiled and said, "That will be all, Winky and thank you. I'll make sure that she eats."
Winky nodded and went back into the dorm apartment kitchen.
Harriet looked at her husband and said, "Dray, I'm worried."
"Why are you worried, love?" Draco questioned.
"Well, what if it's not just my pregnancy that became real? You know, Teddy was somewhat sensitive to my simulated pregnancy."
Draco's eyes widen as realized what Harriet was saying well merely suggesting. Then asked, "Harriet, are you thinking that Teddy may have sensitive sense of smell like his father did?"
"It could be possible because Remus knew by smell who we smelled like when we took our trip to the past. Teddy won't transform on the full moon though." Harriet said.
"I think I understand what you're saying, Harriet." Draco said.
"Dray, what if something else happens?" Harriet questioned.
"Well, we will take one step at a time, love." Draco said.
"Plus, I guess we'll have work on a time travel spell as well because of my father's letter that we read that had been in the album." Harriet said.
"Of course, love and something tells me that if we succeed with that spell then I feeling that your father will have same reaction as he did when he met you." Draco said.
Harriet giggled and said, "You're probably right, darling. Although, it wouldn't surprise me if mom did something so they could share things with us from the past."
"Anything is possible." Draco said.
In the past...
Lily was in the kitchen when Remus came by for a visit.
"Hi, Lily." Remus said.
"Hi, Remus." Lily said.
Remus noticed that Lily was lost in thought and asked, "What are you thinking about?"
"I'm thinking about Harriet and Draco. It was an amazing adventure to meet my future daughter and son-in-law. I hope that they are okay." Lily said.
"From what Draco told us while they were here; is that Harriet one of the most amazing young witch that stole his heart, even though that they didn't get along at first." Remus said.
"Remus, did you know that James placed a letter in the photo album that Severus is to give Harriet and Draco on their wedding day?" Lily questioned.
Remus was confused.
Lily explained to Remus what she had found in James's study that was imprinted on a bottom parchment that James had written on.
"Well, what do you plan to do, Lily?" Remus asked curiously.
"If James asked to find a way to communicate with us here then I want us to memories for Harriet and Draco to have so they can share it with their children. So, I plan to video record everything for them ; plus, I'll contact Narcissa and see if she would like to do the same thing." Lily stated.
Remus was shocked what Lily suggested.
Suddenly, two chuckling men entered the kitchen. Lily and Remus looked at each other then at the two men.
"What's so funny, James?" Lily asked.
"Lucius came by the Manor that I plan on remodeling for Harriet and Draco and told me that he was going to allow two house elves join the other elves at the Manor." James said.
"I don't see what's so funny about that?" Remus questioned.
"Well, it was when one of the house elves decided train the new female house elf to help the new Lady of Manor which she thought was Lucius until we explained everything." Sirius stated.
Lily and Remus were surprised and then began to laugh.
Back to the future (Potter-Malfoy Manor)...
Lucius and Narcissa were setting up a nursery for when Draco and Harriet were ready to have children of their own.
"Lucius, Lily told me what happened when you decided to visit this manor while James along with Sirius were remodeling it." Narcissa stated.
"Well, Cissy...it was rather embarrassing." Lucius said.
"Yes and I understand that you gave Dobby to Draco and Harriet. I'm curious how you got Barty Crouch Sr. to give Winky to them?" Narcissa said.
"I simply said that some newlyweds need a house elf that was female to help with children." Lucius lied.
Narcissa just shook her head.
Suddenly, they heard the noise of excited and happy house elves. They wondered what that was all about and made their way to formal living room; they saw Severus standing there amused by the elves reaction to whatever he had just informed them. Then the house elves got back to work immediately.
"Severus, what brings you here?" Narcissa asked.
"Well, I thought you two would be at Malfoy Manor and the an elf informed me that you were here." Severus stated.
"You didn't answer my wife, Severus and the elves are in a joyous mood." Lucius said.
"Well, something unexpected has happened with Harriet during the simulated pregnancy." Severus said.
"Is she alright, Severus?" Narcissa asked.
"She's fine other than morning sickness." Severus said.
"I suppose that she was supposed to feel that symptom due to the simulated pregnancy?" Lucius said.
"Yes but do you recall what Teddy did when he had placed his hand on Harriet's stomach?" Severus questioned.
Both Narcissa and Lucius nodded.
"Well it seems that young Mister Lupin knew something that we didn't." Severus stated.
Narcissa's eyes widened and said, "Severus, you don't mean that Harriet is actually..."
Lucius looked at Severus then fainted as Severus nodded to confirm what Narcissa was trying to ask.
"Well that was unexpected." Severus said.
"So, what is Harriet having?" Narcissa asked.
"Twins. A son and a daughter." Severus said.
"So we get a grandson and a granddaughter." Narcissa said happily.
Severus nodded and explained everything to Narcissa as they waited for Lucius to come around.
After a few minutes, Lucius came around and said, "Cissy, are we really having grandchildren?"
"Yes and they'll be twins." Narcissa said.
"Twins?" Lucius questioned.
"Yes, Severus told that Professor Malkin wanted to give Harriet a simulated pregnancy of twins. Also, one will be a boy and his twin is a girl, Lucius." Narcissa said.
"So, we'll have a grandson and granddaughter!" Lucius said.
Narcissa nodded.
"It's rare for twins to born into the Malfoy Family let alone a girl." Lucius stated.
"I know but they will heirs of the combined bloodline, Lucius." Narcissa said.
"I know but it is still rare, Narcissa." Lucius said.
"Yes and we have finish the nursery because according to Severus told me; Harriet is due on February 14th." Narcissa said.
Lucius faced his wife and said, "That doesn't give us much time."
"I'll help." Severus said.
Lucius nodded and then the three of them headed to the nursery to complete it for the the Potter-Malfoy twins.
