Last chapter, unfortunately. But on the plus side, I do take requests, so if you have any ideas, please let me know :)

Epilogue: A Real Family

One year later

"Shh, Dilip," Priya soothed the crying baby mouse.

"Are we almost there, Mama?" asked the little girl mouse.

"We are, Mira," replied Brain.

"That's right, and then you'll meet your mashi and uncle for the very first time," smiled Pri, slipping her free hand into Brain's. Here she was, back in India, in the same forest she used to live in. Twice she had been overcome with emotion. She couldn't believe over a year had passed since she had been plucked from here, taken to America, and met the mice who would become her family, sure she would never see India again. Yet here she was. Only this time was different, because Brain had finally achieved his goal of taking over the world. And with all the newfound luxuries world domination had to offer, Priya had managed to get in touch with two mice whom she had never forgotten, and with the help of Brain had discovered that the three of them were related.

Ronju and Rini.

The two bubbly mice from the Indian lab, who Pri had befriended so quickly, were her siblings.

That's one of the reasons why they were visiting India, so Priya could see her siblings once again. They were even planning to ask them to come live with them. The house that Brain had requested be built for his wife, children and best friend, was practically a palace. Priya was excited for her friends to meet Ronju and Rini, she knew all of them would click, particularly her children and Pinky.

They pushed aside some stalks of tall grass, and there they were, waving.

So many emotions burst in Priya's heart as she ran to embrace them, almost crying.

And it was then, she knew, that "the new arrival" had found a real family.

The End

Aww! Quick translation and fun facts, mashi means aunt, and mama means uncle in Bengali, but I thought that would be a little weird so I didn't put that in.

Also, Dilip and Mira are the names of my maternal grandparents.

Till next time!
