Once the coffee was made and Patton and Roman called in a sick day, everyone sat down on the couch and Patton spoke up "You said we had powers what are they?"

"Well mine is shapeshifting and teleportation" Remus said then added "Roman's is the same."

Janus answered next "I can hypnotize people and can speak to snakes" at the look on Patton's face added "We all have two and we think it's connected to who we were in our first life so we don't know exactly why our powers are what they are."

"What are me and dads powers and what about this Virgil boy" Logan asked once no one volunteered the information.

"You have telekinesis and telepathy, Patton has Empathetic powers and can speak to most woodland animals" Janus explained.

Logan quickly asked another question "So if we have these powers why haven't we used them before?"

"That's more of a question you should ask yourself because you are the one studying all of this and you usually wake up first which awakens your power" Remus said.

"Fine that makes some sense but what about this Virgil what are his powers" Logan asked shelving the power conversation for after he had all of his memories.

"Well Vee's powers are a bit harder to explain" Roman said piping in for the first time.

"Why I mean our powers seemed straight forward" Patton asked tilting his head confused.

"Virgil's powers are more of a spectrum then just two normal powers for example he can make people see their greatest dream but also their deepest fears with the same power he can give people panic attacks but also save people from said attacks" Janus said hoping Logan gets his memories back soon because he was always better at explaining this stuff then him.

"Yes, I can see what you mean when you say spectrum and this is just one of his powers what is the other" Logan said deep in thought.

"And that's where it gets even more strange we don't know" Remus said shrugging.

"How if just my memory fragments are correct then we have been doing this for several centuries how can we not know his second power" Logan stated incredulously*.

"It changes" Patton said slowly surprising everyone.

"Hey Pat your memories are returning" Roman said excitedly.

"Yeah they are hey isn't that swell" Patton said clapping cheerfully.

"But what I still don't get is how he wasn't awaken sooner if you both soul-connected" Janus said thoughtfully.

"I thought Logan would explain that when he woke up because I honestly can't figure out why I even tried triggering memories but got nothing" Roman said gesturing widely.

"I have some idea" a voice said from the corner of the room surprising everyone.

"Who's there" Roman exclaimed hand instinctually going for his sword and mentally cursing when he remembered he didn't have it.

"I'm offended Princey I thought I knew you" The voice said and you could almost hear the smirk in its voice.

"Virgil" Roman stated relaxing then asking "How are you awake if no one woke you up?"

The voice, Virgil walked out of the shadows and sat down before saying "I don't know I woke up a year ago and have been piecing thing together ever since it was only when I felt you three wake up that I was able to find you guys."

"Nice to see you again bitch-boy" Remus said gleefully and Virgil groaned, then Remus said "You said you had an idea on why Patton did wake up when he and Roman met what is it."

"Whenever we get awoken by another it is usually Logan waking us up but this time Logan was one of the last ones to wake up which makes me think this was supposed to be a lifetime we didn't meet but something changed and we did" Virgil said all in one breath.

"Are you implying that someone chooses if we wake up" Janus stated in disbelief.

"Not a physical person per se more like fate an otherworldly being" Virgil said trying to describe the thing the best way he could.

"But why would an otherworldly being be interested in six mostly normal humans" Logan asked.

"That's the thing I don't think we're the only ones and whoever is doing this wants us separate for some reason so on the lifetimes we sleep the others are awake and for the first time we are all awake" Virgil said passionately but when he saw the looks on the others faces he added "Oh come on we are people that have be reincarnated more times then I can count don't you think that even the craziest theory might merit some truth?"

"I guess that it could hold so truth but I don't think we should go any deeper until after Logan and Patton regain their memories and powers" Roman said and the others quickly agreed so for the rest of the day they just shared funny stories from different moments in history.

*If you couldn't tell I really like using that word 😊
