"Nope! Nope! Nu-uh! Hm-"

Trunks walked into the living room and leaned over the couch to look at Pan. She was lying across it, and a wedding dress magazine was pulled up in front of her. She was muttering under her breath as her eyes scanned across it.

"Not finding anything you like?" Trunks raised an eyebrow.

Pan huffed and dropped the magazine across her chest. "Bulla gave me this magazine. I think she's taking her maid of honor duties too seriously. She's circled so many dresses, and all of them would make me look like a furry cloud."

Trunks stifled his lighter. "You'd make an adorable furry cloud, though."

Pan let out a whine. "I'm telling you, most of these dresses are insane! What happened to simplicity? I'm half tempted to go find me a nice suit and just call it a day."

Trunks rested his elbows against the back of the couch as he leaned against it. "You can get a suit if you want," he told her. "I wouldn't mind it. I wouldn't even mind it if you came wearing nothing at all," he grinned.

"Liar," Pan snickered up at him. "You'd freak if I walked out naked."

"You got me," he nodded. "I don't like sharing," he smirked. "But Panna, I don't care what you wear, as long you come down the aisle."

She smiled up at him softly. "I want a dress," she told him. "I want to dress up, but I don't want to look like an exotic furry cloud."

"Oh, they're exotic, now?" Trunks raised an eyebrow. "That sounds hot."

Pan didn't reply; she just rolled her eyes and smacked him with the magazine.

"You know, I've known this day was coming ever since the Grand Tour," Goku said softly.

Pan looked up at him, a bright smile on her face. To Goku, she looked more than beautiful. Her white dress was simple and elegant. It flowed to the ground behind her. Her dark hair was curled and pinned up neatly behind her with a veil stuck inside of it.

Goku had known for years now that Pan was grown up and no longer a child. It was really hitting him today, though, just how grown up his little girl was. He would be walking her down the aisle in a matter of minutes and handing her off to Trunks, who Goku know was all too willing to take responsibility for her.

He could still remember the days when he had been Pan's favorite guy. She had followed him everywhere, and she had accompanied him many times on his walks in the woods. There he had taught her about nature and the animals that had lived there. Like him, too, she usually brought back something from their little walks. The memories made Goku's chest ache. His throat felt tight, and he let out a heavy sigh as he blinked back his tears.

"Really, Papa?" Pan raised a dark eyebrow. "Ever since the Grand Tour?"

"Mhm," Goku nodded slowly. "I knew you and Trunks were bonding. He went away once we returned home because you were still so young. I knew once he came back, though, that the bond between you two would continue, and one day, you'd be marrying him."

Pan smiled up at him softly. "Papa, you do like Trunks, don't you? You've never spoken bad about him, but I want to hear you say it. It'll make me feel better."

Goku smiled brightly at her. "I like him," he said. "He's strong and smart. Most importantly, he loves you."

There was a gentle knock on the door, and Chi-Chi walked in. She was wearing a gold dress, and tears were shining in her eyes as she looked at Pan.

"Oh, Panny," Chi-Chi sniffed as she reached out to cup Pan's cheek. "You look so beautiful."

"Thank you, Mama," Pan smiled brightly. Her dark eyes seemed to be glittering as well.

"Are you nervous?" Chi-Chi asked.

"A little," Pan answered. "But I think it's just typical nervous. I'll have Papa by my side, so I know I'll be okay," she said with a smile as she looked at Goku.

He felt as if his heart could burst. He wrapped his arms around Pan and Chi-Chi, bringing them both into a hug. "My pretty girls," he said as he kissed their heads.

"Goku-Sa," Chi-Chi was laughing.

"Hey, is this a family hug?!" A voice called from the door.

Goku turned in time to see Goten rush in. He was pulling Gohan by the wrist, and soon the two of them were in the hug as well.

"You guys are squishing me!" Pan whined. "Don't mess up my hair, or else you'll face the wrath of Bulla."

"Oh, that's terrifying," Goten said knowingly, but he continued to squeeze everyone.

Goku just smiled brightly. He loved his family more than anything.

Bulla pushed open the door to Pan's flower shop and smiled brightly. "Hello!" She called inside.

Goten was sitting at the counter, finishing up an order. "Oh, did you and Seventeen just get back?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Uh-huh," Bulla nodded. They had taken a week to fly to South City for some sun and shopping. It had been wonderful, but Bulla was happy to be home. "Panny?!" She called as she glanced around. She didn't see her best friend anywhere in sight!

"She's probably back there napping-" Goten motioned towards the break room. "She's been trying to sneak one in all week. She's -"

"Shut up, Goten," Pan huffed as she walked out. She narrowed her eyes at her brother, "I've just been a little tired, that's all."

Bulla's eyes widened as she looked at Pan. Truthfully, she didn't look too different. There were beginnings of shadows under her eyes, and she looked a little peaky.

"Are you okay?" Bulla raised an eyebrow.

Pan's eyes widened slightly, "Yeah, of course, I am. I just -"

The side door to the shop that was now connected to Eijiro's bakery opened up. "Hey," Eijiro smiled as he walked in with some freshly made cookies that made Bulla's mouth water. "I brought you guys snacks."

Pan made a gagging sound before she turned on her heels and ran towards the bathroom. Bulla's mouth popped open in surprise.

"There she goes to the bathroom again," Goten sighed. "Be careful, Bulla, I think Panny has some sort of virus."

"I don't know," Eijiro's brows furrowed together. "I mean, she's only sick in the mornings, isn't she? Maybe it's something in the air before Trunks drops her off?"

"She's pregnant, you dumbasses!" Bulla nearly yelled.

Goten dropped the scissors he was holding, and Eijiro gasped. "No way."

"Let's see -" Bulla tilted her head to the side. "Exhaustion, looking exhausted, having morning sickness, and there's no telling what other symptoms she has!" She huffed. "Are you two really this dense?!"

"Don't blame them, Bulla," Pan walked back out. She had a damp towel and was patting her face with it. "I haven't told anyone yet, not even Trunks. I want to surprise him," she smiled softly. "I should have known you would notice it right away, though."

"Wait -" Goten stood up from his stool. "So you are pregnant?!"

"Yeah," Pan's lips twitched into a bigger grin. Her hand came down to rest against her stomach, "I am."

Trunks leaned back in his office chair with a heavy sigh. He peeked out the windows and saw the late spring sun shining brightly. He would rather be outside, doing something fun with Pan instead of working. He glanced at the clock - it was nearing two. All of his paperwork was done for the day. It wouldn't hurt to leave early.

Trunks had just stood up when Pan walked in. He smiled instantly at the sight of her. He still found it hard to believe that she was his wife.

Pan smiled back at him, but there was a look on her face that made his smile drop slightly. She looked tired and like she didn't feel good.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he walked over to her.

Pan nodded her head. Her smile hadn't fallen any, and she sighed against his touch. "You're hands are cold. They feel nice."

"And you feel warm," he told her as he started to frown. "Are you sure you're not sick?"

"I'm not," Pan promised. "I was just outside, and it's nearly summer," she told him. "I have something for you," she said before he could ask any more questions.

Trunks raised an eyebrow as he realized that she was holding something behind her back. She pulled a small brown paper bag out in front of her and smiled as she held it out to him. Trunks furrowed his eyebrows as he took the bag. His and Pan's birthdays were in autumn, so he knew he didn't miss a birthday. They had just gotten married in January, so it wasn't an anniversary.

"Why are you looking like that?" Pan asked him, amusement.

"I'm just trying to think of I've forgotten an anniversary."

Pan was still smiling, and she shook her head. "You haven't forgotten. This is a just because gift."

Just because gifts were common between the two of them, but Trunks knew Pan. He could tell by the way she was looking at him that she was up to something.

"Okay," Trunks said. He held the bag with one hand as he moved the gift paper to the side and reached inside. He touched something soft and pulled out a pair of white baby booties. He furrowed his brows, "for Tsu?" He asked. She was the only baby he knew, "but I think she's too big for these," he said. They were small, and if he had to guess, he would say they were for newborns.

Pan laughed and nodded her head, "yeah, they would be a bit small on Tsu, but they're not for her. There's more in the bag."

Trunks was confused, but he reached inside the bag again. "Don't tell me Bulla's pregnant," he said.

Pan didn't reply, but her grin widened slightly.

Trunks pulled out something white, and it took him a few seconds to realize that it was a baby onesie. He unfolded it, his eyes widening at the black letters across the shirt that said, 'Hi, Daddy.' An ultrasound picture had been monogrammed onto the shirt below the words. Trunks pulled it closer to him as he furrowed his eyebrows. He stared at the picture for several seconds before looking at Pan and down at her stomach. He did this several times, his mind clicking it together.

"You," he said slowly. "You're pregnant?" He asked Pan. They hadn't really been trying, but they hadn't exactly been careful either.

Pan's hands came down to rest on her stomach. It was flat, but the thought of their child nestled inside of her at that very moment, tiny, fragile, and growing, made Trunks' throat tighten.

"I am," Pan confirmed with a slight nod. "I'm pregnant, Trunks."

In a quick swoop, he had her in his arms. He wasn't sure who leaned in first, but they were kissing as he held her carefully. Pan leaned back with a small laugh and cupped his face. "Are you happy?" She asked him softly.

Trunks was already smiling as he let out a sigh and nuzzled Pan's chin. "At the moment, I don't think I could get any happier," he said truthfully.

"Tell me how in the world I let Bulla talk me into having a 21st birthday party and a baby shower all in one," Pan muttered as she looked out the car window.

"Well, Bulla's your best friend," Trunks smirked as he sat behind the driver's seat of the car. "She saw an opportunity and was determined to make it into reality."

Pan pooched out her lips. "Well, the good thing is that I'm getting both things over with. The bad thing is, Bulla and our mothers have more than likely gone overboard."

"Oh, they've definitely gone overboard," Trunks nodded knowingly. "Question is, are you ready for it?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," Pan smiled.

Trunks got out of the car before he walked over and carefully helped Pan out. One of his arms wrapped around her back, and the other rested on the top of her stomach to give it an affectionate rub. Pan could feel their son give him a little kick in greeting, and Trunks chuckled.

"Looks like he's awake," he commented.

"I think he smells the food," Pan grinned.

She was currently six months along. It had been about a month since they had discovered that they would be having a little boy. Pan had been thrilled, and she couldn't stop imagining a little boy that favored Trunks. Trunks had been excited as well. Already he had their baby's first training session planned out.

Trunks leaned over and kissed her temple. "Give me a minute, and I'll run our stuff up to my old bedroom."

"Okay," Pan said, and she turned to watch him go inside. Her birthday wasn't until Saturday, and it was only Thursday. They would be staying at Brief Manor for the weekend to enjoy spending time with their families.

"What are you doing?" A voice asked near Pan's ear.

She jumped and let out a gasp of surprise as she turned around and saw Goten looking at her in amusement. She narrowed her eyes and swatted his arm. "Don't scare me! I might accidentally pee myself!" She told him.

"That's way too much information that I did not want to know," Goten made a face. "Do you really do that, though?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I thought you just said you didn't want to know?"

"I don't, but at the same time, I'm curious," he said.

"Well, try to imagine having a growing baby pressed against your bladder," Pan told him. "Any sudden movements can cause a leak."

"It gets worse the further along you are," Gohan commented as he joined them. "At least, that's what Marron said when she was pregnant with Tsu."

"Women have it rough," Goten shook his head slowly. "Where's Trunks?" He asked.

"Did you miss me?" Trunks said, returning from inside. "I just put mine and Panna's things up in my old bedroom."

"Speaking of old bedrooms," Goten began as they started to head towards the back where everyone was. "I've been using the same guest room here since I was ten, and the bedding still has dinosaurs on it."

Pan let out a snort, "didn't you ask Bulma for them when you were younger?"

"Yeah, when I was younger!" Goten said. "Eijiro laughed his ass off when he saw them earlier."

Trunks snickered, "it's okay. Mine still has rockets on it."

"True story," Pan nodded with a grin.

"Panny!" Bulla yelled as soon as they walked back. She made it to Pan and wrapped her up in a hug. "I know we can't go drinking this year, but next year we definitely will!" She promised with a wink.

"You wouldn't even be able to drink this year anyway," Trunks commented.

"That's why I said we definitely would next year," Bulla grinned. "I'll be legal, and Pan will have this bun out of the oven!" She pointed towards Pan's stomach.

"This bun is your precious nephew," Pan smiled.

"Don't I know it," Bulla said proudly as she patted Pan's stomach. "And Aunt Bulla loves him very much!"

Trunks led Pan over to the table where their mothers were sitting, and Pan let out a grateful sigh as she sat down under the shade. Trunks sat down beside her, his arm thrown across her as his hands rubbed her back gently.

"How are you feeling, Panny?" Chi-Chi asked as she held little Tsu, who was now three. Her blonde hair had grown out and was pulled up into adorable pigtails as she played with a few dolls.

"I'm okay," Pan said. "I just feel tired, which is nothing new."

"Oh, honey," Bulma gave her a sympathetic smile. "If he's anything like his father, I feel for you."

"What does that mean?" Trunks huffed.

"You were a hellion. That's what it means," Bulla muttered.

Pan smiled as she listened to Bulma and Trunks bickering. Chi-Chi was playing with Tsu. Bulla was ordering Seventeen and Goten around on how to put up a few decorations properly. Marron, Gohan, and Eijiro talked quietly off the side, and Goku and Vegeta were near the stream fishing.

Everything seemed calm and peaceful.

Then, a familiar shift ran through the air, and Pan could feel the hairs on the back of her neck stand. She and Trunks were standing in an instant as he tensed beside Pan. Everyone had swarmed together in a moment. Even Goku and Vegeta were over by the group quickly.

Pan furrowed her brows. The feeling was similar to Instant Transmission, but not quite the same. She felt a pull towards the shift, and she took a step forward.

"Panna," Trunks grabbed her wrist just as an image of two people appeared through a shining vortex. As soon as they walked through it, it disappeared behind them.

Pan was left gapping at sight. A tall man, his lavender hair pulled back into a ponytail, was scanning the group thoughtfully. The girl, much shorter than him with shoulder-length black hair, was looking right at Pan. It was like looking into an adjusted mirror.

"It's you," Pan spoke at the same time as the other Pan.

She smiled, her dark eyes bright, and Pan felt a tug of relief wash through her. She was okay.

The other Pan stepped away from her companion, Mirai Trunks; Pan's brain placed him quickly. So that's where she had sent her. The other Pan rushed forward towards Pan and surprised her by hugging her tightly.

Pan gasped in surprise, and it took several seconds before she was able to hug her back. "I'm so happy you're okay," Pan told her truthfully. "I didn't realize I had sent you somewhere. I was so worried I hurt you."

The other Pan pulled back. She was crying and smiling. "The day you arrived, I had given up hope. I was about to take my own life," she confessed. "But then you showed up, and you sent me to the Mirai Timeline -" she looked back and smiled at Mirai Trunks, who was looking at her softly. She turned back towards Pan now. "You gave me a second chance at having a family. You saved my life, so I'm here to repay the favor and save yours," she said. "Axel is coming, here. He'll be here in two days, on your birthday. I will not let him hurt my family again."
