Chapter 33 – Premonitions again
I'm finally back with an update. Everything with school took a bit longer than I thought. I'll hopefully have more time to write again now.
This chapter is set a few days after the last one. It's not as long as other chapters unfortunately, but it will set up the next several chapters.
Hope you enjoy.

Shili, H'Raani M'Kai barracks
Ahsoka once again found herself in the barracks of the Royal guard. The past days she had been training with Aurora. The female warrior had been teaching her one of the sword styles that their ancestors used.
The technique was quite unlike anything Ahsoka had studied before. It was feral and strong, but yet incredibly refined and controlled. It consisted of fast and fluid attacks, rapidly following one after another, drawing on the power of one swing to increase the strength of the next.
Ahsoka had listened intently as Aurora explained the basics of the techniques. After that they had gone further into detail about the style she was practicing now.
Now, Aurora was watching as Ahsoka went through the basic strikes of the technique with her training sword. A frown spread across the warrior's face as she studied the young girl. In their previous training sessions Ahsoka had been incredibly determined and driven. Something seemed wrong to Aurora this time. The girl was distracted somehow, her mind wasn't completely focused at the task at hand. After Ahsoka finished her series of strikes Aurora walked up to her.
"Ahsoka, take a break for a moment." Aurora said to her. Ahsoka nodded and sat down on the training mat, placing the sword next to her. Aurora joined her a moment later. "Is something wrong Ahsoka?" Aurora asked. "You're not as focused as you usually are, something is obviously bothering you." She stated.
Ahsoka sighed. "Sorry about that." She replied as she looked at the older Togruta. "You're right Aurora, something is bothering me." Ahsoka said.
Aurora nodded. "I thought as much." She replied as she studied the young girl for a moment. "Can you tell me what's bothering you or is it a private matter?" she asked.
Ahsoka chuckled a bit. "No, it's nothing like that." She replied. Ahsoka thought about what to say for a moment. "I've been getting a strange feeling from the Force recently. It's gotten progressively stronger the past few days." Ahsoka sighed. "I have the feeling that something will happen soon and I'm afraid that it isn't going to be good." She explained.
"Hmmm…" Aurora thought about Ahsoka's words for a moment. "The Force is not something I can really fathom, seeing as I do not possess it myself." She said after a moment. "However, your Force abilities have helped us before, when our princess was kidnapped." Aurora continued. "I will inform the others to remain alert and keep an eye out, just in case."
Ahsoka smiled when she heard that. "Thank you Aurora." She replied. "I don't know what this feeling means yet, it's still too unclear at the moment. But, it never hurts to be prepared." She said, thinking back at several battles that she had been in before when she was still with the Order. Ahsoka then stood up. "I think that I'm going to call it a day with the training, I can't really focus right now." She admitted. "I'm going back home to try and meditate, see if I can't figure this out. Thanks for the lessons Aurora." She said with a smile.
Aurora got up as well. "That sounds like a good plan." She replied. "And it was my pleasure to teach you Ahsoka. Feel free to return anytime, I'll gladly help you again." Aurora said with a smile.
Ahsoka nodded. "I certainly will. I'll see you again some other time." Ahsoka replied. They said their goodbyes and Ahsoka headed towards the exit of the barracks.

As Ahsoka walked through the streets of Corvala, she thought about the feelings she sensed from the Force. There was definitely a strong hint of danger and that was what worried her the most. Especially since she couldn't sense where the danger would be or where it would come from.
"This is quite frustrating…" Ahsoka thought to herself. "These feelings are familiar; they're definitely a warning. But a warning about what? Or who?" She sighed. "I suppose the best thing I can do is to go back home and try and meditate later."
;-
Yuae Tano sat in her house watching a show on the holo-tv when she suddenly heard the door open and someone walk in. "Who can that be?" she asked herself. "Haymish isn't going to back for a few hours and Ahsoka is training at the barracks." She looked over at the door.
A few seconds later her daughter Ahsoka walked in, much to her surprise. "Ahsoka?" she asked. "What are you doing back so soon? I thought that you were still training with the royal guards."
Ahsoka walked over and sat down next to her mother. "I was." She replied. "But I couldn't really concentrate." Ahsoka admitted as she shrugged.
Yuae looked at her daughter for a moment. It was obvious to her that something was bothering her daughter. "Ahsoka, what's wrong?" she asked as she took her daughter's hand. Ahsoka looked at her. Yuae smiled in return. "I'm your mother, I can sense those things." she said, causing Ahsoka to smile.
Ahsoka took a deep breath. "I don't know what's wrong. That's what's bothering me." She replied. "I've been getting some strange feelings from the Force. I wanted to get back home to try and meditate." She explained to her mother. The feelings kept getting stronger and it was really starting to worry her.
Yua nodded, her face filled with concern. "Then you should try and meditate, like you said." She replied. "Try to clear your head a bit, relax for a moment and then try to figure things out. Marina and Lilo are busy in the study and Rosette is with playing over at the neighbors, so you should have some peace and quiet." She suggested to her daughter, hoping that it would help her.
Ahsoka nodded and smiled. "I think I'll do just that, thanks mom." She replied and stood up. "Anytime dear." Yuae said and Ahsoka headed upstairs to her room.

Ahsoka walked into her room and sat on her bed. It was clear to her that the Force was trying to send her a warning. She sighed and got up again. She picked up the mat she had purchased a few weeks ago and laid it on the floor.
She sat down and crossed her legs, assuming a meditating position. Ahsoka took a few deep breaths to steady herself and calm her thoughts. She closed her eyes and began to open herself to the Force.
Following the instructions and the lessons she had learned from the Masters at the Temple, Ahsoka concentrated and focused on the Force around her. She allowed it to flow freely around and through her, sinking deeply into a meditative trance.
Ahsoka then followed the lessons she had received from the Daughter. She unleashed a part of the power she had received from the being. Enhancing her senses and abilities even further, Ahsoka let herself be immersed even further into the Force.
;-
The sound of people talking echoed around her. People walking around and engaging in conversation with each other. Feeling of joy and safety all around.
Images started to appear all around her. Streets and buildings materialized, a whole city rose up.
People going about their daily business. Going to work, purchasing goods in the market. Children playing and running around.
Loud noises suddenly pierced the quiet atmosphere. People looking around, trying to identify its source. Panic brew and people started pointing at things in the distance.
The sound of hundreds and hundreds of metal footsteps echoed through the streets of the city. Fear spread quickly all around. People started running and seeking shelter, to try and escape from the incoming danger.
Everything turned dark.
Screams echoed throughout the darkness. Fear and panic all around. Feelings of despair and hopelessness spreading quickly.
Pain and suffering…
Fear…
Death…
Lilo!

With a loud gasp Ahsoka withdrew herself from the Force. Her body shaking, cold sweat running across her back. She was breathing heavily, slightly sobbing at the horror she had just seen. She grabbed the floor in an attempt to steady herself and calm down.
It was one of those moments that she was glad to be able to read the future so that she would now what would happen so that she could do something about it. But at the same time she cursed that same ability for having to witness such horrible things.
Ahsoka took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm down. What she had seen had disturbed her greatly. While she was glad with the warning from the Force, it didn't have to be that violent.
She took another deep breath and straightened herself. Using an old trick she had once learned she calmed her racing emotions and got up. "Marina and Lilo were in the study, working on some Senator things. I need to go and talk to them immediately." She thought as she left her room.
;-
Ahsoka entered the living room and saw her sisters getting ready to leave for somewhere. Something was definitely up, her sisters felt incredibly nervous and worried. "Does this relate to my vision somehow?" she asked herself as she made her way towards them. "Marina, Lilo, I need to talk to you." Ahsoka said to them.
Marina looked at her sister. "I'm sorry Ahsoka, but not now." She replied quickly. The stress in her voice proved to Ahsoka that there was something wrong. "We have to go. There's an emergency meeting at the palace and we have to attend."
Ahsoka frowned at the emotions she sensed from her sisters. "Just as I thought, something is up." Marina and Lilo got up and were about to head towards the door when Ahsoka held up her hand for them to stop. "I'm going with you." She said sternly.
Her sisters looked a bit surprised at her response. "What for?" Lilo asked confused. "There's no reason for you to attend this meeting. We…"
Ahsoka interrupted her. "I'm going with you and that's final." She sighed when she saw the questioning looks on her sister's faces. "I've been experiencing strange feelings from the Force for a while now and I just had a vision." She explained to them. "I hope that this emergency meeting of yours isn't about what I think it is, otherwise you'll definitely want me there." She said with a hint of sorrow in her voice.
Marina and Lilo looked at each other for a moment. Their youngest sister's words had disturbed them somewhat. The last time that Ahsoka had a vision things almost ended very sourly. "All right then." Marina replied nervously. "But we'll have to go now. Perhaps you can tell us about your vision later. Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with this meeting."
Ahsoka nodded and followed her sisters outside. "I hope you're right Marina, I really do."

I'm going to end this chapter here.
In the next chapter, the meeting Ahsoka's sisters mentioned will take place and Ahsoka's vision will be revealed. Things will start getting interesting after that.
Be sure to check out my story list. I've uploaded a little something extra in the spirit of the season.
Until next time.
