Muttley had reached the New World thanks to the Nokk, a water spirit and stared in awe of the snow covered Jamestown.

"Wow!" barked Muttley.

He wondered where he could find Cassandra. Then he remembered the forest.

Excited, Muttley ran into the forest, carrying the letter.

Soon, he noticed the Indians carrying baskets of berries.

"Oh!" gasped the dog.

He snickered, hoping to steal some berries after a long journey.

As soon as Rapunzel, Cassandra's best friend, set her basket down, Muttley charged toward it and started eating the berries!

Hearing the munching, Rapunzel was going to check when- - WHAM-— a snowball hit her.

A voice quietly giggled.

Rapunzel smiled mischievously, knowing who it was.

If anyone isn't gathering berries, it's Cass she thought to herself.

Soon, Rapunzel had a snowball ready.

"Oh, Cass!" she called out in a singsong voice. "Come out, I've got a present for you!"

A voice responded.

"Really?! Where?"

WHAM!

Rapunzel threw the snowball, but she got Snowball the rather than Cassandra.

"Oops!" blushed Rapunzel. "Sorry, Snowball."

Annoyed, Snowball hopped away.

"Dang, Blondie" screeched the bunny. "Next time hit a snowball at someone who's name is Not Snowball!"

WHAM!

A snowball hit Rapunzel, who turned to see Cassandra laughing.

The fight continued on to the point that Cassandra slipped and bumped into Rapunzel.

Muttley continued eating until he saw the struggling girls and tried to run.

But it was too late, Cassandra and Rapunzel landed in the basket and slid down a snowy hill, taking Muttley with them.

The Indians watched with confusion as the basket went flying through the snow like a sled with Cassandra and Rapunzel laughing and poor Muttley screaming!

Soon, the basket landed with a soft, snowy thud!

Luckily, no one was hurt.

The girls continued to laugh until Muttley stood up, panting for breath as if tired.

"Oh, Muttley" chuckled Cassandra. "What are you doing here? Where's Dick Dastardly?"

The dog then handed Cassandra the letter with sad eyes.

Rapunzel watched with concern as Cassandra read the letter, then gasped in shock and lowered her head with sadness.

"He's been wrongly accused" Cassandra finally said.

"What? But that makes no sense, they said Dick Dastardly is dead."

"He said he's going into hiding until the truth is uncovered. I miss him, Raps."

Poor Cassandra. She picked up the compass that Rocky stole from Dastardly and held it close to her.

Rapunzel placed a hand on her friend's shoulder.

"Oh, Cass, much time has passed since the news of Dick Dastardly's death" she said. "Perhaps it's time:to put this behind you."

"I know you are right" Cassandra replied sadly. "It's just hard to say goodbye."

She then walked away with Muttley following close behind.

After a while, Cassandra sat by the waterfalls, which was now frozen.

Muttley finally spoke "Rasm frasm where's Rocky?"

"He's hibernating for the season" Cassandra answered. "You'll only see Snowball around."

"Rasm frasm lazy bum!"

Though angry at Rocky, Muttley nuzzled Cassandra's hand and whined.

All Cassandra could do was think of what was on her mind. She began to sing.

"The earth is cold, the fields are bare

"The branches fold against the wind that's everywhere

She and Muttley then noticed a flock of birds flying south for the season and two bears, a mother and her cub (Koda and his mother) playing and left for their cave.

"The birds move on, so they survive

"When snow's so deep

"The bears all sleep to keep themselves alive

As soon as the bears left, Cassandra stared at the frozen waterfall and thought of the people who she knew and loved: her father, the Indian tribe, Rapunzel and Eugene.

"They do what they must for now

"And trust in their plan

"If I trust in mine, somehow

"I might find who I am

Cassandra then felt the wind spirit Gale swirl the leaves around her.

"But where do I go from here?

So many voices ringing in my ear

Which is the voice that I was meant to hear?

How will I know?

Where do I go from here?

Muttley and Snowball smiled at Cassandra, who weakly smiled back, then saw held Dastardly's compass in her hands.

A memory returned to her it was when she and Dastardly had to say goodbye.

"My world has changed and so have I

I've learned to choose

And even learned to say goodbye

The path ahead's so hard to see

It winds and bends but where it ends

Depends on only me

After a long while of thinking, Cassandra headed for her favorite place, the cliff where she would sit and think and where she said her goodbyes. Muttley and Snowball followed close behind.

"In my heart I don't feel part of so much I've known

Now it seems it's time to start

A new life on my own

Soon, Cassandra came to the cliff and felt the cold wind against her skin.

"But where do I go from here?

So many voices ringing in my ear

She then got down to her knees and buried Dastardly's compass in the snow and wrapped her shawl over it.

"Which is the voice that I was meant to hear?

How will I know?

Where do I go from here?"

Cassandra lowered her head, mourning Dastardly, then petted Muttley's head.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang in the distance that jumped them.

Cassandra stood up and saw that a ship was approaching.
