A/N: This story has been picked up dropped and abandoned so many times (by me the author), that I applaud anyone who continues to read after all of this time. It wasn't that I forget it, so much that life gets in the way. I have an end game for the story, a vision of where everything is going, but it may take time in getting there.

So I greatly appreciate the feedback, reviews, encouragement, and critique.

I am also looking for another BETA reader for the story. Please feel free to message me and I will provide more details as to what I am looking for.

"Glad to see the place wasn't ransacked," Kurt muttered as he dumped his stuff in the middle of the hall.

Rachel brushed part Kurt, not wanting his foul mood to affect her. "I'm going to bed early, we have classes tomorrow and I want to be ready."

"Ready for classes or ready for your Winter Showcase practice?" Each applicant picked for Winter Showcase was allotted a certain amount of rehearsal time in the auditorium known as the Round Room before the event took place. It was highly suggested by Dean Carmen Tibideaux that all individuals lucky enough to receive a golden ticket get the most practice that they could.

"Well that too," Rachel pointed out. "I need to check the list and see what timeslots I was given. Hopefully nothing that will conflict too much with my daily schedule."

"You know you'll drop everything to practice," Kurt reminded her.

"That's true," Rachel laughed. "You know with the new semester coming up, now might be the perfect time to reapply for NYADA."

Kurt shook his head. "With the amount of work that I'm doing at Vogue, I can't fit school into my schedule right now."

"Kurt…this is your education," Rachel insisted. "You can't put it off forever."

"What makes you think that I'm putting my education off forever?" Kurt countered. "I am learning so much about fashion design, layout, marketing, and so much more from the magazine that I could ever learn in a classroom."

"But NYADA was... no NYADA is your dream."

"It was my dream," Kurt said. "You know as well as I do that dreams can change. People change, everyone changes. People evolve and grow. Life goes on."

"What kind of a life are you going to have without a formal education?" Rachel asked.

"School will still be there for me. Vogue I'm not so sure. If I were to leave the magazine for school, or anything else, Isabella would give my job to someone else, and I'd be out of work and out of a great opportunity."

"Maybe she would hold it for you if you told her that you were applying to NYADA. She knows that you want to perform."

"I also always wanted to work in fashion; I knew that since pre-kindergarten when I was spending all of my time in the pretend play section with all of the dress-up clothes and dolls. Most of the costumes were dresses, but I made it work for me. And a lot of my teachers loved seeing my creations and ideas with the toys. I'm doing a grown-up version of what I was doing before, but I'm getting paid for it," Kurt laughed. "How awesome is that?"

"Pretty awesome," Rachel agreed. "But I won't stop hounding you about school."

"I wouldn't expect you to. Now I think we are both in need of some rest before we officially go back to reality."

"I agree. Night Kurt."

"Night Rach."
