Chapter 50 – Making plans and a Gift

I know, updating my stories took a long time. However, I decided to throw some things around. Instead of making two or three separate chapters, I combined a number of scenes into one chapter for Tale of a Togruta. This way, I can advance the story a bit faster.

Because the storyline of Tale of a Togruta has progressed a lot faster now, I've also made a new, short chapter for A Mirialan's Story. This small chapter serves to set up the next two chapters for my stories.

It's hard to believe this story is already at its fiftieth chapter. I don't think I had imagined that this story would become this large when I started writing on Fanfiction. A huge thanks to everyone that keeps reading, following and reviewing my stories. I hope you continue enjoying them.

Ahsoka couldn't help but feel a mixture of happiness and sadness as she walked off the ramp of the ship back onto Shili's surface. Being on her homeplanet always made her feel good and she had adjusted to her new life there quite well. Unfortunately, being back here also meant that it was the end of her vacation with Lux.

She couldn't help but smile again at the memories of the week she spend with him on Naboo. It had been some wonderful days spend together, just enjoying the sights and each other's company. She wouldn't have minded it if they had stayed there longer, but Lux needed to return to his duties and she didn't want to get in the way of that. "The people of Onderon are lucky to have him as a senator," she thought.

She put her bag down and turned around. Lux walked off the ramp carrying her other luggage. He put it down next to her when he reached her. "I've said it before, but I am really glad that you came with me, Ahsoka," he told her with a smile.

Ahsoka smiled at him as well. "So am I, I'm really glad that you invited me Lux," she replied happily. "This has been a wonderful week. It was great to be there with you."

"Same here, being with you was amazing Ahsoka," Lux said. "I hope that I'll be able to spend more time with you soon. But like I promised you, I won't forget about my duties."

Ahsoka laughed a bit at that. "Sounds good to me Lux," she replied. "I think that I'll be busy as well the next couple of weeks."

"I can imagine so," Lux said. "And I'm sure that your sisters will keep you busy with all kinds of things. Which reminds me, did your sister already set a date for her wedding?"

Ahsoka shook her head. "No, at least not as far as I know," she replied. "They still had a few things to work out when we left. But I'm sure that they've done so by now, especially considering how eager Lilo was to plan the wedding."

They both laughed a bit at that. Both of them recalling some of the things that Ahsoka had told Lux during their vacation about Lilo's teasing. "I suppose so," Lux replied. "If you do find out, let me know. I'll try to see if I can be free for it. That is, if your sisters will invite me."

"I'm sure they will," Ahsoka replied with a smile. "Otherwise I'll make sure they do." They both laughed at her comment. "I had a great time Lux, I hope we can do this again sometime soon."

"Me too," Lux said before his smile faded a bit. "I just wish I had a bit more time, that way I could have shown you home properly."

"Hey, don't worry about it Lux," Ahsoka replied. "When you found out that you had to get back to Onderon on time I contacted my mother. She's waiting to pick me up, so don't worry about it."

Lux smiled again at hearing that. "Alright, that's good to hear," he said. "Then I guess it's goodbye for now."

Ahsoka sighed. "I guess it is," she replied with a hint of sadness. "I'll try to let you know when the wedding is. I hope you can be there."

"So do I, I will definitely try to be there," Lux replied. "I'll contact you soon. I love you Ahsoka."

"I love you too Lux," Ahsoka replied with a smile. They shared a last kiss and a hug before Lux boarded his ship again. Ahsoka watched as it flew away before she collected her bags and made her way to her mother.

;-

After a short walk through the spaceport, Ahsoka found her mother. "Hi mom, it's great to see you," she greeted her mother as she walked up to her.

"Ah, Ahsoka, there you are," Yuae replied with a smile. She gave her daughter a quick hug. "So, how did everything go?"

Ahsoka returned the hug and smiled as well. "It was wonderful," she said happily. "I had a great time with Lux on Naboo, it really is a beautiful planet. You should have seen the area where our apartment was. The view of the lake was amazing."

"I have heard some good stories about Naboo. Perhaps I should go there with your father someday," Yuae replied.

"I'm sure you'd love it there," Ahsoka told her with a smile. "Perhaps Marina might want to go there as well. After all, she'll have her honeymoon soon."

"Yes, that's true. She and Lilo and certainly been very busy with the preparations," Yuae replied a bit amused. "Lilo in particular is very determined to make sure that everything goes perfect during the wedding. She might be teasing her sister immensely, but she's definitely very happy for her."

Ahsoka laughed a bit. "Yeah, I figured that Lilo would be enjoying herself with that," she said. "Just wait till she finds someone, I'm sure Marina will have her revenge."

Her mother laughed as well. "That will be an interesting time," she replied. "Now, let's go home." Ahsoka nodded and they made their way back to the speeder her mother had brought.

;-

A few hours later

Ahsoka was sitting in the living room of her house with her sisters Marina and Lilo. After returning home she had unpacked her luggage and placed some of the souvenirs from Naboo in her room.

After that, she had spent some talking about the trip with her family. After all, they had done a lot of sightseeing on Naboo. Her parents had then gone to do some work in the garden while Aisha was dragged of by Rosette, leaving Ahsoka alone with her sisters.

Just as she had expected, Lilo had made some very teasing remarks about her and Lux being alone on Naboo together. Marina, on the other hand, had asked some genuine questions about Naboo. Ahsoka had expected her to join in on Lilo's teasing, but she really wanted to know more about Naboo. "Probably for her honeymoon," Ahsoka reasoned. Still she answered her sisters questions, for once resisting the urge to tease her sister.

Lilo, however, had no desire to hold back on any of the teasing, so aimed a few teasing comments at her other sister as well. Ahsoka shook her head and took her drink of the counter. As she took a sip, Lilo focused her attention on her again. "Oh, by the way Ahsoka, did our little gift help you?" she asked teasingly.

Ahsoka nearly choked on her drink as Lilo's question caught her completely off guard. She coughed a bit violently as her lekku darkened quite a bit.

Her sisters looked at her in slight shock and surprise. "You slept with him? Lilo asked a bit shocked, before her amusement took over. "You actually slept with him? You naughty girl."

"S-shut up!" Ahsoka replied embarrassed. She scolded herself a little for getting caught off guard so easily by her sisters.

"Well, you did have a lot of fun with him after all, didn't you?" Marina asked in a teasing voice.

"Like you don't want to do the same with Zolar," Ahsoka replied quickly, causing her sister to blush heavily as well.

Lilo couldn't help but laugh at Marina's reaction. "She'll have plenty of time for soon, now doesn't she?" she asked teasingly, loving the fact that she could mess with both her sisters. "Maybe you can give her some pointers Ahsoka?"

Both Marina and Ahsoka stared at Lilo as she burst out into laughter. Then they looked at each other, agreeing without words that they would give Lilo hell when she found someone herself.

"Whatever you say Lilo," Ahsoka said as she stood up. "I'm going to see how Aisha is getting on, I'll talk to you both later." She moved to the door before she turned around. "Oh, and the next time you want to buy supplies for me and Lux, get them maybe one or two sizes bigger," she said with a wicked smirk, leaving her sisters staring at her in mild shock.

;-

The next day

Ahsoka was in the living room with all of her sisters, talking about some details regarding Marina's wedding. When she was away with Lux, her sisters had already planned quite a lot. Everything seemed to be working out well and she had no doubt that it would be a grand wedding. "Not surprising, considering Marina is marrying a prince," she thought with some amusement.

Still, there was one thing she had wanted to ask her sister regarding her wedding. "Hey Marina?" she asked to get her attention. "Lux was going to see if he could be free for the wedding. He can come if he's free, right?"

Marina smiled and wanted to say 'yes, of course he's invited' right away, but then a few evil cogs turned in her head. "Sorry Ahsoka, but the guest list is getting a little full already. I'm not sure if we'll be able to," she replied, much to the surprise of her sisters.

"Wha… Are you serious?" Ahsoka asked a bit shocked.

"Hmm, it takes quite a bit of planning you know," Marina replied with a bit of an evil glint in her eyes. "Tell you what, I'll see what I can do if, oh I don't know, you go shopping with us tomorrow."

At that point, her intentions became obvious for her sisters. Lilo and Aisha couldn't help but laugh as Ahsoka was shocked again. "You're blackmailing me?" she asked a bit stunned. Marina merely gave her a small smile. It quickly became clear to her that Marina wouldn't let this go. "Ugh, alright, you win." For Lux' sake, she could let her sister win this one. But she would get back at her eventually.

"That's wonderful," Marina replied. "We'll make sure you look your best for the wedding and your boyfriend." She send her sister a teasing glance. "Maybe you should look for a wedding dress for you at the same time as well. With how you two are getting along, I'm sure you'll be getting married soon too."

"Yeah, you're right Marina," Lilo added with an equally teasing smile. "Maybe we should shop for some baby clothes as well?" They both laughed again.

Ahsoka sighed and shook her head. "Come on Aisha, let's go and do some practice," she told her younger sister. "Let's leave them to their wild fantasies."

"Alright," Aisha replied with a smile as she got up as well and followed her sister out of the room.

;-

About two weeks later

Ahsoka was sitting in the garden of her family's house, thinking about some of the things that happened the past weeks. She had had a little awkward talk with her mother about her and Lux sleeping together on their vacation. Apparently her mother had overheard her sisters teasing her about it. It had been very awkward to talk about, especially with her mother, but at least her mother seemed happy for her.

Apart from her sisters upcoming wedding, another matter that she was thinking about a lot were her training sessions with Aisha.

During one of their practice sessions, Ahsoka had let Aisha use one of her lightsabers so she could show her sister another way of using the Force. Getting a hang of the basic hold and swings had proven to be an easy task for her. There was quite some natural skill in Aisha. Which had lead Ahsoka to make the following decision: to help Aisha build a lightsaber of her own.

Gathering all of the parts for the handle wouldn't be that difficult. She had managed to do so before herself. With the help of Zaa Vashee, she was certain that they could gather almost everything they would need. All but just one part: the crystal.

Ahsoka looked up at the sky. She knew it would require a journey to Ilum. That in itself wouldn't be that much of a problem. She would probably be able to borrow a ship from Zaa's family, they'd probably be alright with that. Getting into the crystal caves with just the two of them might be a little tricky, but with how much stronger she herself had become, Ahsoka felt that they could manage.

It was what Aisha might encounter inside the caves that worried her a little. The caves on Ilum do not give up their treasures easily. She knew that the Force would test her quite a bit. Still, considering all that they had already practiced, she felt that Aisha would be able to handle herself well.

Ahsoka knew that Aisha still had some problems with her confidence from time to time. She still had some doubts and she couldn't really blame her for that, knowing what she went through. Still, Ahsoka figured that succeeding in building a lightsaber would certainly help her. With it, they would be able to practice even more and she knew that it would help Aisha greatly.

Drawing on the Force for some insight, she smiled at the brief vision of her and Aisha practicing, with Aisha holding a lightsaber of her own. She would succeed on Ilum, Ahsoka knew it. "First things first, I'm going to need a ship. I suppose that I'll go and see Zaa first." With that thought, Ahsoka got up and made her way back inside.

;-

At the palace, Ahsoka found Zaa and her parents in one of the larger meeting rooms. Considering the fact that her sister would be marrying the prince in just over a week, she was allowed in without question. Much to her surprise, there was a group of others present in the room. A group of Humans, whom she assumed to be some influential family of a different planet or system, judging from their appearance. The parents in the room where engaging in some lively chatter. Zaa seemed to be a bit bored or uncomfortable, the other family's daughter seemed to be looking things up on a datapad to aid in her parent's conversation whilst their son seemed to be more interested in Zaa.

She walked up to them and bowed when they looked at her. "Hello Ahsoka, it's good to see you," King Zhorin greeted her. He looked at their guests. "This is Ahsoka Tano, the younger sister of my soon to be daughter in law." He turned back to Ahsoka.

"I'm sorry if I interrupted you, I didn't know you had guests," Ahsoka replied.

"Don't worry Ahsoka, it's fine," Queen Sarisa told her with a smile. "We're going to be family quite soon after all. Is there something we can do for you?"

Ahsoka smiled at her words. "I was actually hoping to speak to Zaa about something, if that's alright," she replied. Zaa had already made it perfectly clear that she didn't want Ahsoka and her sisters to address her so formally anymore.

At her words, Zaa's eyes shot towards her, an idea obviously triggering in her mind. "Oh yes, that's right. I completely forgot about our appointment," she said quickly. "Sorry about that Ahsoka." She got up and walked up to her, giving her a look that said to go along with it.

"Don't worry about it, it's alright," Ahsoka replied, a little curious by Zaa's sudden behavior.

"That's a relief," Zaa said. "Shall we then?" She looked back at her parents. "I'll be sure to join you again later."

"Alright Zaa, we'll see you then," her mother replied. Zaa nodded and left the room with Ahsoka.

Once they were out of the room, Zaa let out a sigh of relief. Ahsoka noticed it and chuckled a bit. "You seem glad to be out of there, don't you like that other family?" she asked her.

Zaa shook her head. "No, they are nice people and my family has met with them plenty of times over the years," she replied. "We've always had a good relationship with them. It's just," she paused a moment before leaning in towards Ahsoka bit. "I just don't really like their son," she admitted in a hushed voice. "He's always trying to hit on me, but I doubt he's really interested in me. It's the promise of wealth and power that he's after by marrying a princess."

"Ah, I see," Ahsoka nodded understandingly. She had experienced similar things on missions before, random guys trying to get on her good side when she was in public places. "So that's why you were suddenly so eager to get out, hmm?"

"You got it," Zaa replied with a small laugh. "Well then, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?"

Ahsoka smiled and shook her head slightly. Zaa certainly wasn't your average princess. "I was hoping to borrow a ship. I wanted to take Aisha somewhere," she said.

Zaa was surprised at the sudden request and frowned a little. Secretly, for reasons of her own, it also made her feel quite excited. She put on a confused expression. "You're going to travel now? But your sister's wedding is next week," she asked.

"Don't worry, we'll be back before the wedding," Ahsoka replied. "The journey shouldn't take too long."

"Alright…," Zaa said slowly. "But, why do you need to travel somewhere?"

Ahsoka smiled at her question. "I want to help Aisha build a lightsaber of her own," she replied. "She practiced a bit with one of mine. Seeing her with a lightsaber just looked natural to me. So, I wanted to take her to make one herself."

"I see, that sounds great," Zaa said with a smile as well. "I'm sure that she'll love that. But why do you have to travel somewhere to do so? I mean, didn't you build your second lightsaber here? I helped you with some of the parts and I can do so again."

"Thanks for offering to help," Ahsoka replied. "Yes, we can gather most of the parts we would need here on Shili, especially with your help, but we would lack the most important part: the crystal. The crystal of Lux' locket was perfect for me, but we will need to get a crystal for Aisha."

"Oh, and that's why you need to borrow a ship? To get her a crystal?" Zaa asked.

"Yes, and there's only one place I know where we can get them," Ahsoka replied. "Which is why I want to borrow a ship, so we can travel there."

"Okay, so where are you headed?" Zaa asked in return.

"I'd… rather not say," Ahsoka replied a bit nervously. "It's a sacred site of the Jedi Order. I may not be a part of the Order anymore, but still…"

"Don't worry, I understand," Zaa said. "So you just need a ship huh? Hmm, I think I can help you with that, let me see what I can do. Can you meet me in the hangars in about an hour so?"

Ahsoka smiled again. "That would be great, thanks Zaa," she replied. "I'll see you in the hangars later then."

"Okay, see you later," Zaa said as they parted ways. This little turn of events made her feel a lot better about today. First she now had an excuse to avoid a lot of unwanted and silly flirting, which she was quite grateful for. But what made it even better, she now had the perfect opportunity to spring her surprise on Ahsoka. She send a quick message to her sisters to secretly join them in the hangar later.

;-

About an hour later

Ahsoka walked into the hangar, looking around for Zaa Vashee. She hoped that the princess had been successful in finding a ship for her to use. She really wanted to take Aisha to build her own lightsaber. It would be a great step in their practice together.

After a few minutes of looking, she saw Zaa Vashee talking to some engineers. As she began to make her way towards her, Zaa turned around and spotted her as well. She smiled and walked up to Ahsoka. "Ah good, there you are," she greeted Ahsoka. "Hey, before we take a look at things, would you mind helping me out a bit?"

"Uhm sure," Ahsoka replied a bit surprised. "What did you need?"

Zaa smiled at her. "I wanted to get your opinion on something. You know a lot about ships right?" she asked.

"Yes, I do," Ahsoka replied a bit confused the question. "I spend a lot of time working on ships with Anakin back at the Temple. But why do you ask?"

Zaa gestured at a doorway to another part of the hangar and they started making their way there. "We've been working on a new ship for a some time now," she said as they walked. "It's a heavily modified version of the cruisers you've already seen. It's somewhat smaller in size, but we worked in the aerodynamic design of our fighters, so despite its size, it's fast and maneuverable. I've seen it and I have to say, it looks amazing."

Hearing all of that, Ahsoka couldn't deny that she was a little excited. "That sounds like a great ship," she replied. "I've seen the cruisers and flown the fighters myself. A combination of those two should make for one terrific ship."

Zaa smiled at her words, it was more or less the response she was hoping for. However, she was sure that Ahsoka's next reaction would be something else. "Ah, here we are," she said as they walked into the next hangar. "This is it, what do you think?"

Ahsoka stepped into the hangar as well and was instantly amazed. The ship looked better than Zaa had just described. It was smaller than the cruisers that she had been on when they were flying to Kiros, but it was still pretty big. Despite its size, the design was indeed pretty sleek. The cockpit and the large wings were designed similarly to the fighters used by Eagle squadron. It had a light color and almost seemed to glow a bit in the sunlight that was coming through the windows. There were some golden-colored accents around the cockpit and the wings, really giving it the look of a regal bird of prey. It made her think back a bit to the Fleft-Waufs she had ridden during her mission to Taloraan.

She walked around the ship a bit, looking at it from a few more angles. It looked like a magnificent ship, there was no denying that. She could tell that it had some powerful weapon systems as well. "Zaa's family certainly went all out to create this ship." After taking a good look at it, she made her way back to Zaa.

"Well, what do you think?" Zaa asked with a hint of excitement.

Ahsoka smiled as she walked up to her. "I have to say, it looks amazing," she replied. She looked back at the ship. "I've seen a lot of ships that were around this size, but none looked quite as impressive. Knowing how the wing design worked for the fighters, I'm really curious to see how it works for this ship."

Zaa smiled at her words. "So, it's safe to say that you like the ship?" she asked.

Ahsoka turned back to Zaa. "It looks like a very fine ship," she replied with a smile. She looked back at it. "I'd love to give it a spin, but I doubt that they'd let me just borrow their new ship," she thought as she looked it over more.

"That's good," Zaa said with a happy smile. "Because it's yours."

Ahsoka chuckled a bit and looked back at Zaa, thinking it was a funny joke. Zaa however, smiled and nodded. Ahsoka's amused smile faded and shock overtook her. "You're not serious, are you?" she asked shocked.

Zaa laughed a bit, greatly enjoying her reaction. "Yes, I am," she told the stunned Togruta. "This is our way of thanking you for all that you've done for Shili. From rescuing me to helping us on Kiros and, of course, bringing our families together."

Ahsoka merely stared in shock at Zaa. "Y-you can't be serious about this," she replied. "A-a-a-a," she stuttered out. "A s-ship? You build a ship for me?" She heard more entertained laughter to her side and turned around to see Marina and Lilo walk up to her.

"Yep, that's right sis," Marina said. Like Lilo and Zaa, she was greatly amused by Ahsoka's stunned reaction. "Just after you left on your vacation with Lux, Zaa came and told us about her idea to build you a ships as thanks. It was pretty obvious that you really liked ships, so we both felt it was it a great idea."

Lilo smirked as well. "You deserved a great deal of thanks after everything, even though you would never admit that or bring it up, so we agreed with Zaa to set this plan in motion," she explained as she gestured at the ship. "So while you were having fun with your boyfriend on Naboo, we looked through the design and began constructing the ship on Kiros so you wouldn't find out."

Ahsoka was still stunned, simply staring between Zaa and her own sisters. She had quite some difficulty believing this situation.

Zaa laughed again at her continued shock. "This is your ship now," she told Ahsoka. "Remember when I told you that I'd see to it that you'd get a proper reward? There is no way that I'll let you say 'no'. You're going to accept it, otherwise I'll have to make you," she added with a cheeky smile.

Ahsoka looked at Zaa. "I thought I asked you not to go overboard with this?" she asked in a still stunned voice.

Zaa just smirked at her. "You're supposed to get on board, not overboard," she replied.

Ahsoka shook her head and looked between Zaa and her sisters. "I still can't believe you guys did this," she said slowly.

The three of them laughed again. "Well, you'd better get used to it soon," Marina replied. "This ship is yours, easy as that."

Ahsoka looked between them again. The Force clearly told her that they weren't going to change their minds, especially Zaa. The fact that she and her family would do this for her made her feel a little overwhelmed. She loved ships, they had that right. But that they'd actually build a ship for her, and a ship like this no less, she was just amazed by it.

She looked at the ship again. It was an amazing ship, definitely one of the finest she had ever seen. She couldn't help but feel a little honored that they actually build it for her. "Alright, if that's really want you want, then I'll take it," she finally said.

Zaa and her sisters smiled. "Wonderful, I knew you'd like it," Zaa replied eagerly. "So, what do you want to call it?" She laughed a bit at Ahsoka's surprised reaction again. "It's your ship, you should be the one to name it."

Ahsoka smiled and looked at the ship again. Zaa was enjoying this a lot, she could easily tell that. She studied the ship a moment. She really loved the golden accents on the bird-like parts of the ship. It made the whole ship appear to glow. She recalled Varon and Silara telling her that the fighters were modelled after the Shilian Striped Eagle. With that in mind, a name came to her. "What do you think about The Radiant Eagle?" she asked the three.

"I like it," Zaa replied. "That sounds like a pretty good name." She smiled at Ahsoka again. "Why don't you go and check it out while we update the name?" she suggested as she signaled the hangar crew to lower the ramp.

"Alright," Ahsoka said with a hint of eagerness. She walked up to the ship and ascended the ramp. From this close, the ship looked even larger. She entered the ship and found herself into a somewhat large corridor, reminding her a little of the ship with which she and the younglings had travelled to Ilum. Looking to her left, she saw an open hallway with several doors and one at the end after which she suspected the cockpit was. To her right, the corridor widened a bit and it had several more doors.

Deciding to start at her right, she walked past the rooms. The first room she saw was quite an impressive training room. It was pretty obvious to her that the H'Raani M'Kai had helped out in designing this particular room. It contained a number of practice weapons and maintenance sections, as well as training dummies to hit.

The second large room she encountered was a well-equipped medical bay. It had a number of medical machines and instruments that she recognized from the times she had to spend in the Halls of Healing or in the medical bays on the Resolute or similar ships whenever Anakin forced her to go there if she had a little scratch. In the corner in a charging booth stood a medical droid, ready to be called whenever needed.

Next to the medical bay was a decent sized canteen. There were several tables and places to sit, as well as a number of modern kitchen devices to prepare things with.

She continued her tour of the ship. The next room was quite a bit smaller than the other rooms she had just seen, but it's purpose became clear soon enough and she couldn't help but smirk a bit. "So that is why Lilo asked so much about my meditation some time ago," she thought amused. The room was obviously some form of meditation room that they had designed. The room was soundproofed to minimize outside distractions and contained some soft looking carpet and cushions to relax on. With the color scheme of the floor and the walls, it had a relaxing appearance.

With a smile, she looked around the rest of the ship. In the hall on the way to the cockpit, there were several bedrooms, including what looked like a master bedroom with a double bed. She frowned as she looked at the bed. "Okay, those heart-shaped pillows are going to go," she thought a little annoyed. It was obviously some way of her sisters to mess with her.

She walked into the cockpit and was instantly impressed again. She moved to the cockpit's seat and sat down, letting her gaze wander over the controls. A number of the controls were in the basic places that she knew, many of the main systems were. At the side of the cockpit there was a separate set of communication controls. With a smile, she took a moment to familiarize herself with everything.

;-

A short time later Ahsoka walked back down the ramp of her new ship. She still had some difficulty fully believing that it was hers. As she looked at her sisters and Zaa, she noticed that Zaa's brother had joined them as well. She smirked a bit as she saw how close Zolar and Marina were standing.

Zolar saw Ahsoka walking back up to them. "Ah Ahsoka," he said with a smile. "So, what do you think off the ship?"

Ahsoka smiled at him. "I think it's a wonderful ship, it looks amazing," she replied. "I truly can't thank you all enough."

Zaa smiled at hearing that. "You don't have to thank us Ahsoka," she said. "This ship is our thanks to you. You've more than earned it."

"Zaa's right," Zolar added. "You deserve it and I hope it will serve you well." He then looked at Marina and smiled at her.

Marina smiled back at him. "Then I guess we'll leave you now," she told her sisters. "We had made some plans for lunch. So we'll see you later."

With that, she and Zolar began to leave the hangar. Lilo smirked and walked after them, making a few teasing remarks towards the couple.

Zaa and Ahsoka both laughed at the scene before Zaa turned back to Ahsoka. "I'm going to have to go now, but before I do," she said as she handed Ahsoka datapad. "The ships plans are on that. Also the engineers over there can tell you more about the ship and its systems."

"Great, thanks Zaa," Ahsoka replied. "I'll be sure to check it all out. I'd like to see what it is capable of."

Zaa smiled and said her goodbyes, leaving Ahsoka to get familiar with her new ship.

;-

That's the end of this chapter.

Ahsoka will take Aisha to Ilum in the next chapter so that she can build a lightsaber of her own. She'll face quite a challenge there, we're talking about Ilum of course, but she has Ahsoka's training.

Before people say that I copied the ship idea from daviddavies5851's story "The Order Redeems", the idea to give Ahsoka a ship in my story came to be in my talks with him. David and I talk a lot about our stories and a thanks go to him for helping me with this idea. The ship will serve Ahsoka well in the rest of the story.

I'll first write the epilogue for Rebirth of Light. Regarding this story, I might make the epilogue a bit shorter than I had originally planned. However, I may leave this story 'open', so I can write additional chapters for it later. Those chapters will be set during and after the five year interval in the story. I'll have to see how I do it.

When that epilogue is done, I think I'll write the Ilum chapters. I've been wanting to do those for a while now. Barriss and Aisha will both enter the caves, alongside the others travelling there. In the meantime, Ahsoka will wait there along with Master Yoda.

I might also decide to write a chapter for a new story idea I had. It's an alternate version of Rebirth of Light. Ahsoka wakes up alone in the morgue and follows the Force's guidance, trying to get away from everything that happened. She'll make her way to Shili, hoping to find her family, where she'll find out something about her heritage that she could have never imagined.

It's a bit of a random idea that I had, pretty similar to what I had for Mysterious Ways, but I think it can make a nice story.

That being said, I have a few more ideas for stories, both longer ones and possible one shots, but It's difficult to find the time to write everything down. I don't know when I might start a possible new story, because I really want to move Tale of a Togruta and A Mirialan's Story along.

I think that's enough of me for now. Until next time.
