Hello, my lovely Jolly Ranchers!

It's been quite some time since I have updated this fic. I figured that I owed you guys an explanation.

One reason I haven't updated, the main reason, is that I've just been very busy. I started this fic when I was around 12 or 13. I am now currently 19 years old and will be turning 20 in April. I'm now a full-time college student and adulthood just began to get in the way. Things like school, work, my health, and personal relationships, all became priorities. Though I did continue to write and update other stories, including a rare update for this fic every now and then, it became difficult to keep up with it. I focused a lot more on writing and updating a requested fic for Goosebumps because I promised someone that I'd write it for them, and a promise is a promise.

The second reason is writer's block. As I had stated before, I wrote this fic, as well as "Another Start" and "A Happy New Year" when I was very young. Though "Another Start" came to a close and this fic began as a sequel, I began to lose ideas to for where I wanted the storyline to go. In an effort to begin updating again, I went back a reread "Another Start" and what I've written for this fic. I was very underwhelmed with my work and I feel that I could do better now since I have improved. When I first started, I was writing with the skills of a dyslexic 7th grader. Now I have my high school degree, plus the knowledge from my creative writing classes that I was taking for my minor.

There was also the fact that I struggle a lot with my health, both mentally and physically. This takes up a lot of my time as well. College takes a huge toll on me. I'm also currently living on my own. However, even though being in college has been difficult, it's also been amazing. I learned to become independent and I was able to grow so much as a person. When I first came onto this site, I was very shy and reserved. Though I am still shy and reserved, I am not capable of speaking up for myself. It's been a very long journey of growth for me.

It eventually got to the point where all of these things began to affect my updates and writing times, for all of my fics.

I recently began to think about the fics for this fandom. I came up with the idea to reboot this fic, as well as "Another Start." I've currently been working on those. My plan is to post the reboot of "Another Start" (while leaving the original published for memories and comparison). However, with this fic, I was planning to replace the chapters all at once then restart updating again. However, I'm debating if I should go with that plan or if I should post the reboot of this fic separately, the way I plan to do with "Another Start." Leave a review if you would like for me to do that instead!

The reason for doing a reboot of my fics is because there were a lot of things in both fics that I felt were inconclusive, unrealistic, and even a bit messy. I plan to fix those things so that you guys can have a better piece of work to read.

As for "A Happy New Year," I decided to scratch that fic. Though I want to leave it published, I would also like to use some of the ideas from that fic for the reboot of "Another Start" and for the continuation of "Beginning Again." Maybe not everything, but some things for sure. However, I don't want to say that I'll never update it again. Depending on how things go with the reboot of this fic and "Another Start," then there may be a reboot for "A Happy New Year" as well. I don't want to make any promises though. Only time can tell.

I would like to take the time to thank each and every one of you for being so patient with me. Your loyalty to these fics is amazing because this fic, as well as my other fics, have been going on for literal years. I would also like to thank a specific Jolly Rancher who reviewed on another story of mine from a different fandom. If it weren't for that review, I would have continued to space out on continuing to write for this fandom.

I would also like to tell you guys that I have been thinking about starting my own YouTube channel for quite some time. There are a lot of stories that I would love to share with you guys that I can't really share on here since they're my own stories from my chaotic, ridiculous, yet entertaining life. I would love to share that with you guys. I haven't made up my mind yet since I do get busy very often. I also have Tumblr now, if any of you guys would like to follow it. I plan to do one-shots on there, and I will be accepting requests for one-shots that I will post on my Tumblr. The list of fandoms that I can write for will be on that blog. The username is on my bio!
