chapter 20
A/N: yay! we've finally made it to chapter 20 and I am exited so I will TRY I repeat TRY to make this chapter a little bit longer than the previous one's so hopefully I will accomplish this anyway I hope you guys like this chapter I'd like to thank my lovely reviewers you guys are amazing and I love you guys!

"it's ok I promise daddy is on the way and he will solve everything" I said bouncing a screaming Julian up and down his little face turning red. That's when Jacob finally got there "Jacob I don't know what to do or I don't know what's going on but Emiley is sobbing her heart out complaining of chest pain she's doing a bad job consoling Salem and she said something was wrong with Sam...what's going on" I asked getting frustrated he held his hands out for Julian and I handed him the baby "it's ok little guy...everything is ok daddy is here now" he said in the sweetest Julian snuggled into Jacob's chest quieting down than he began to walk to the living room where Emiley ans Salem were "Jake are you going to answer my question" I asked still no answer Jacob what the hell is going on Jacob!" I snapped getting irritated Julian began to fuss again " lower your voice he can sence you're uneasy" Jacob said in an emotionless voice "Jacob" I said in a warning tone "Sam is dead" he said in a low and mournful voice "w-what that's i-impossible he was fine w-when I was there"Emiley said sobbing harder.
I can only imagine what she was going through "Jacob what happened? who killed him?" I asked Jacob layed Julian down in his basinet I grabbed his arm when he tried to walk away from me again "Jacob please talk to me I need to know what happened" I said and his expression and demeanor softned "one of the Cullens killed him" he said guilt filling his eyes " what? no no no what about the treaty they couldn't have made it over here" I said not believing him " I...I let Rosalie on our land to kill... Sam" he said "what no! this has to be some sick and tristed joke" Emiley said standing up "where are you going?" I asked my head reeling "home" she said I picked up Julian and stared at Jacob for a moment in disbelief "i'm coming to".
I made sure Julian was swoddled tight with another blanket covering him as we got out the car and when we made it to Emiley's we noticed the door was torn off Jacob was next to me pleading me with his eyes not to go in but I had to see for myself if this was true. As soon as we entered the house it was trashed walls broken blood in odd spots then finally we saw Sam's body laying in the middle of the floor when Emiley saw she ran to his body colasping to her knees "No sam you c-can't leave me what about me? what about Salem i'm sorry I wasn't here" she sobbed stroking his hair I had the over whelming erge to touch my deceased brother in law I went up next to his body clutching Julian tight to my chest and I touched Sam's face my hands started to get hot as if he was still alive I retracted my hand quickly and stood up Emiley had her head on his chest so if it was any sign of life she would have said something " Jacob grab Salem" I said he did we got into the car and I drove to the Cullens house.
"I can't believe you guys would do something like this" I said as I entered the house "and I sure as hell can't believe you let them" I sneered at Jacob " Because of you guys I have someone who is like a sister to me husbandless and her daughter left without a father" I continued " well i'm left with someone who is like a sister to me fighting for her life because of him and a brother who is dead for all I know so save your woah as me bull for someone else" Rosalie snapped " LISTEN I HAVE BEEN TIRED OF YOU SINCE DAY ONE THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU ROSE THIS IS ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE BEING ALTERED BECAUSE OF DUMB DECISIONS YOU AND THE PACK MADE AND BECAUSE OF YOUR RECKLESS BEHAVIOR THE TREATY HAS BEEN COMPROMISED AND SOMEONE'S LEFT DEAD SO EXCUSE THE HELL OUT OF ME FOR BEING CONCERNED WITH SOMEONE ELSE BESIDE MYSELF AND MAYBE SHE DESERVED WHAT HAPPENED TO HER" I said regretting the last part as soon as I said it " My sister didn't deserve a damn thing" Seth said " I know and I am sorry for saying that i'm just...I need to get away for awhile" I said leaving Jacob trying to follow me " alone...you all have turned into people I don't even know anymore...I don't even know if I know myself anymore" I sobbed " Bella please atleast let me explain don't do this" he said tears welling in my eyes I knew for a fact I couldn't walk away from Jacob, it would hurt every part of me but I had to try " Jacob I love you with every part of my being I-I just can't do this-" Alice cut me off " Bella be reasonable he did what was right...and we are closer because of it he helped rescue Leah and he tries to get along with us...for you, you can't give up on family" she saidcoming outside with the rest of them "Family? are you guys really family the only family I had and the only one I need was J-Jacob now I don't know...and you did what's right? someone is dead because you guys acting on pure emotion...I nor you or anyone else for that matter can not take back what's happened... w-was it really worth it? was taking his life or letting someone do it or standing by and letting it happen really worth it? " I asked whipiing some of my tears away no one answered " Exaclty so Alice don't make me seem like the bad guy when I really don't reconize what I thought was family anymore I just need a break" I said walking to my truck putting Julian in his seat and with one last glance I left.
I pulled up to my dad's home taking Julian out when I knocked on the door my mom answered " hey sweetheart it's niced to see your visiting and you got my lil' punkin" she said then she noticed the dry tear streaks down my face " what's wrong" she asked letting me into the house "nothing..do you mind if me and Julian stay here for a few days?" I asked "ofcourse and baby girl if you need anyone to talk to i'm here" she said but the only thing I wanted was to be left alone.
JPOV
I stood there devistated hoping that this was just a horrible dream that I would wake up from "go after her" Alice said "no" I said "what?" she huffed as if she didn't hear me " I said no!...because of your lovely advice my life is ruined" I barked "Jake she'll come...around you did the right thing" Seth said trying to patt my shoulder I smacked his hand away " was it really the right thing Seth..I let a leach kill our brother" I said begining to shake I need to go and get away from them but most of all I needed my Bella.
Emiley POV
I was sitting there with Sam half way on my lap rubbing his hair "it's going to be ok baby" I said soothingly "Everyone who had something to do with this will all learn I promise you that" I said kissing his cool forehead "now let's get you cleaned up" I say to him getting a rag and gently whiping the dried blood off of him.
LPOV
I was floating in a dark abiss and it felt like I had been there for eternity all of a sudden there was a bright light and out of it walked my father "Leah what are you doing here it's not your time" he said hearing his voice again brought back joy and sorrow I ran to him hugging him as if he would dissapear before my eyes "am I dead?" I asked releasing him from my tight grasp "no... you are with the other spirit wolves who have passed onto another life" he said smiling "can I see the others?" I asked trying to look passed him " no...you have to go back for your brother ...and those beautiful grandchildren of mine" he huffed "they are alive...I can't believe it...how do I get back?" I asked determined to see my children "you have to want it...will yourself to wake up" he said so I squinted my eyes hopiing praying that I get back to my family. My body was aching and sore aas if I got hit by a bus I opened my eyes my vision blurry all I could see was bright lights "Leah" A familiar voice gasped.
