It was the next day and Atsushi was about to be released from the hospital. He was currently laying in bed, curled up into a ball, staring out the window. He was waiting for his two soulmates to come back with clothes he could change into. He still didn't understand why they were by his side. Were they just feeling guilty for some reason? Did they pity their omegan mate? He didn't know and he didn't think he wanted to know. He knew that he was fine to go home but he had no energy to do anything. He didn't feel hungry and Yosano had to force him to eat. He knew that when he stayed at Chuuya's apartment he was going to have to eat. He sighed for the hundredth time that day as he was so uncertain about everything. He had more questions than answers and it scared him. When he was told about what happened to him, he did everything he could to not burst out crying. The only reason he was put in that situation was because his alphas rejected him. Just knowing that caused his heart to clench. He hoped that Dazai and Chuuya could prove him wrong in that they actually love him and want him. He just wanted to be needed, to be loved, to be wanted but he knew that was asking for a lot. He had learned that at a young age due to the orphanage.

At Atsushi's Apartment

Dazai sat on Atsushi's bed resting his head on his hands as his alpha soulmate packed their omega's belongings. He was mulling over what could have possibly gone wrong, what caused him to ignore his precious omega that was also his protégé. He knew that he didn't want to get close to him as whatever he loved always disappeared from his life. He just wanted to keep the other at arm's length not to completely ignore him and cause him so much pain. He thought he was doing the best thing for both his alpha and omega soulmate. If he had actually paid attention none of this would have happened. He sighed, shaking his head to clear his thoughts as he needed to focus on the situation right now. Which was getting everything ready for Atsushi. He watched Chuuya run around the tiny apartment, collecting everything the omega had. Before they left the hospital they had agreed that Atsushi should stay with Chuuya until the omega was back to himself. Though Dazai knew that the chibi wasn't going to let Atsushi move back to the Agency dorm. He knew that the three of them would be living together permanently by the end of Atsushi's recovery.

Chuuya rushed around the apartment trying to get everything packed quickly. He wanted to get out and back to the hospital as fast as possible. He hadn't felt comfortable leaving Atsushi there alone but was convinced by Yosano. Saying that they couldn't take care of Atsushi if they couldn't take care of themselves. He and Dazai had already showered and changed their clothes so all they had to do was grab Atsushi's belongings then go get him. He wanted to grab everything as he was not going to be letting his omega go after everything. He was going to be by Atsushi's side for as long as he could before the other got tired of him. Shoving clothes into a giant duffle bag, he began to think of ways that he could convince the Mackerel to move in with him as well. It was time that they started to act like mates and stop being such fuckheads. They deserved this happiness. They deserved after all the shit they had been through in their lives. He finished packing up what little Atsushi had and decided to walk around to see if he missed anything. Once he finished his once over he walked over to Dazai with a slight grimace, the expression on the ex-mafioso's face was one he hadn't seen since he was partnered up with the bandaged man back when they were 16.

"What is on your mind shitty Mackerel?" He crossed his arms as he examined the other. He knew that something was on the mind of the genius. The look on the other's face was a tell tale sign that it was not anything good.

"Chibi…..Why didn't we learn about the omegan drop when we were younger? Why did we just find out now?" Dazai's eyes had hardened and turned slightly crimson. Know matter how he looked at it, he couldn't figure out why they were not taught about this in their studies. That concerned and pissed him off. If he was right it meant that he had even more reason to hate Mori. He knew he should have killed him but he didn't want the responsibility that came with being the boss.

"I…." He cut himself off as he thought about it. He honestly had no clue as to why they were kept in the dark. It seemed everyone else knew but them. He let his arms fall to his sides as he thought of why they would have been kept in the dark. He was sure things would have been different if they had known about what could have happened to their soulmate. He looked down at his wrist where his soulmark laid. He ran a finger over his wrist that was covered by his glove.

"Chuuya. I have a feeling that Mori did this on purpose." He growled out as he thought of the vile mafia boss. He couldn't hide the amount of anger that filled him. He also liked knowing what was going on so he could plan accordingly. He was always planning things out, to make sure things went his way. He hated being kept in the dark as that meant he couldn't plan, couldn't save those that were close to him. He glanced at the older male to find him glowing red. It seemed the hat rack actually figured out where he was going with this. His now crimson brown eyes looked into icy ocean blue eyes silently communicating. He knew they would deal with this later after they made it up to their soulmate. It was time to take things into their own hands just not right this minute. Dazai knew he had a lot of planning to do in the upcoming future.

Chuuya was furious but he knew he needed to calm down. They would deal with this later as they needed to focus on their omega. He used his ability to carefully carry the bags and boxes of Atsushi's stuff to the car. He could feel Dazai following behind him and closing the door to the tiny apartment. When everything was settled they headed back to the hospital.

The Hospital

Atsushi continued to lay there sinking deeper and deeper into his negative thoughts. He was so involved in them that he didn't notice his soulmates walking in. He just didn't understand why his alphas wanted him now. He didn't think he would ever understand why they loved him. He was just some orphaned boy that was abused from a young age on. A boy that would never be normal. A boy that was only a monster. Atsushi's thinking had regressed to the point that the headmaster was back and yelling in his ear again. He just wanted all of this to end. He just wanted to actually be okay for once.

Walking in the alphas noticed that Atsushi was off. There was just something in the air telling them the need to help their soulmate. They walked over to the now whimpering omega to sit next to him. They looked at each other giving each other a nod before wrapping the omega into their arms. They encased him in a tight yet gentle hug, whispering sweet nothings into his ear. They stayed there for a while just hugging until Atsushi seemed to wake up from his thoughts.

He blinked when he felt warmth encompassing him. He didn't remember wrapping a blanket around himself. He looked around and noticed with a startle that it wasn't a blanket but his soulmates. He bit his lip as tears came to his eyes. He had never felt so safe and warm before. But he didn't want to get his hopes up as this could always end tomorrow. He could be left alone again. He knew he needed to soak up this moment as it could be the last. After about thirty minutes the alphas pulled back to look Atsushi in the face.

"You ready to come home, Atsushi?" Chuuya asked as he brushed back the omega's long bang behind his ear. He felt the omega give a small nod before moving to get off the bed. He and Dazai grabbed the omega's hand, startling him. They squeezed his hands before walking him to Chuuya's car. Chuuya kept glancing into his rear view mirror to check on the omega in the backseat. He could feel his heart clench at the dull expression on the other's face. He sped up more than he probably should have as he wanted to get him quickly and bundle Atsushi up into his and Dazai's arms. Once he parked the car no one moved to get out. He and Dazai shared a look before turning to look at their soulmate.

They could tell the omega was deep in thought but they knew that they had to take him out of them as it could be dangerous. Dazai knew how dangerous those thoughts could be as he had seen what they could do first hand. He decided it was time to take the younger male upstairs to Chuuya's apartment. He gently grabbed Atsushi from the car, immediately taking him to the lobby of the building. He didn't even wait for the other alpha as he already knew the chibi would be right behind them. Getting into the Chibi's apartment was easy even without a key. He moved the omega over to the couch and forced him to sit.

Chuuya set Atsushi's things into his bedroom with the use of his ability as he made his way over to the couch to join the other two. On his way over he grabbed a big thick blanket so he could wrap all three of them up. He sat on the other side of Atsushi covering him and Dazai with a blanket before he covered himself as well.

Both of the alphas cuddled the youngest until they felt Atsushi relax. It was then that they decided to talk to him.

"Atsushi. I need you to look at me." Dazai put a finger under the omega's chin to move his face to look at him. Once his amber eyes met a lack luster purple and gold he gave a small smile. He knew that Atsushi was going to need to hear this next part constantly. Dazai also knew he would need to get used to sharing his emotions with his soulmates.

"I love you Atsushi. I know it may not seem like I am being genuine right now but I am. I need you to trust me. Me and Chibi are going to do everything in our power to make everything up to you." He placed a gentle kiss on the top of Atsushi's head before letting Chuuya talk.

Chuuya moved Atsushi to face him once he knew the bandage fiend was done. He smiled brightly at him, letting his emotions out. He never had a problem showing his emotions but he did know how to hide them. Now was not the time to do that as he needed Atsushi to know he was serious.

"Atsushi, my soulmate, my omega. I love you with everything I have. I know that you don't believe either of us when we say that and I sadly understand why. You deserve so much. Please let us love you wholeheartedly from now on." He placed a kiss onto Atsushi's cheek before hugging him close.

They were both right in that he didn't believe them. Why should he when they never wanted him in the first place? He stayed in their arms as they sat there. He wanted to believe him and he knew only time would tell it they were actually telling the truth. He also knew that he was going to give them a shot as it was in his nature to forgive and take what he could. He slowly lifted his hand so they were placed on Chuuya and Dazai's hands. He gently squeezed them letting them know that he was in their hands.

A week later Dazai and Chuuya could see slight differences in Atsushi. His eyes shone a little brighter and he was letting himself become comfortable in Chuuya's apartment. Sadly Atsushi still wasn't well enough to talk again and it upset the alphas. They wanted Atsushi back to his fun, loving, passionate self. It motivated them even more to try harder. During the week they had taken Atsushi out on dates and stayed in to cuddle him. They were thankful they were given time off work to tend to their omega. The whole week it had just been the three of them. The alphas knew that this was just the beginning, that Atsushi would be back to himself in no time. It wasn't like they were complaining about having to always shower Atsushi in affection. Though the two alphas knew that they had work to do in taking care of Atsushi and to take care of Mori. Little did they know they would have a small army to back them up when they comfort him.
