This is a fanfiction the story line and characters are not mine. I do write spoilers as conversations between my character and my friend in this fiction. updates may be varied as it depends on what's going on in my life on when I'm able to write. Hope you like it!

My p.o.v.

I frown, wondering what was bugging Nikki so early in the morning but figured she'd tell me some other time pulling out a page of the ciphers I decide to work on it a bit as I walk to work.

I manage to avoid running into people as I walk, it was about a twenty minute walk to work and thankfully I had done most of the prep work yesterday as I was fucking exhausted from only sleeping the half hour and the crappy sleep I got the night before.

A hand on my shoulder makes me jump in surprise flipping around to see who it was.

"Hey there Miss, sorry to bug you but I'm looking for the UA high school could you point me in the right direction?"

I tilt my head, he seemed to look familiar with blond hair, skin and bones, and bright almost glowing blue eyes in black. His clothes didn't seem to fit either.

"Um, I'm sorry I actually am new to the area so I'm not sure." I respond.

He had taken back his hand when I turned, I see the map in his hand and point to it. "Maybe I can help figure it out though."

He smiles holding out the map so I could see. "That would be greatly appreciated thank you so much for your help Ma'am."

I wave him off, shoving the note back into the notebook I was using into my bag stepping closer to see the map. "Oh it's no problem. So we're here, it looks like you'll need to go to the other side of the city over here," I point to the street name where we stood and move my finger over the paper to the school that was just another ten minutes away from the coffee shop. "It looks like it's just past were I work I can walk you most of the way."'

He grins at that rolling up the map. "Oh that would be great thank you. I just moved back here and it's a bit hard to remember where everything is." he says, rubbing the back of his head as we start walking.

I put my hands in my pockets looking around as we walked. "Makes sense I'm from the states so this is all new to me."

"What a coincidence! I just moved from the states as well! It's much different but I am sure you will do well, you seem to have picked up the language making you sound like you've lived here all your life."

I shrug, stopping on the corner where I needed to turn for the shop. "Kind of just happened...anyway just go straight from here and you'll be there at least if you stick to the maps route."

"Thanks again, it's my first staff meeting to meet all the other teachers and get plans going for the year." He says walking away waving.

I shrug before turning and walking towards the shop before what he says registers in my tired brain.

I just fucking met All Might.

Shaking my head at my stupidity I open up the shop with my keys and begin opening and baking and just get it ready for the customers to begin coming in.

As I wait for the first customers I pull out my notebook and work some more on the ciphers.

My phone buzzing startles me.

Straightening I see it's my mom now.

"Hey, whats up?" I answer making a cup of coffee for myself still not seeing anyone come in.

"Heya babydoll, heard you're on a little vaca and wanted to check in on you." She replies.

I lean against the counter putting a headphone in so I could be hands free and still talk, I watch the sun begin to rise over the city.

"It's going good, just spur of the moment thing." I answer playing with my necklace wishing I were home now.

This was cool and all but I missed my pup and my family.

"So where are you? Whatchya up to? How's Miss Nikki doing? Whats this about a shop you own? Where is it, I'm going to have to check it out!" She rushes out making me roll my eyes.

"Must have had coffee?" I say taking a sip of mine starting to relax, she always made me feel better. "Japan, its so different here it's kind of scary but Nikki seems to love it. I like all the nature they have throughout it though…..mom I'm not sure I'm coming home I just have a strong feeling about it."

She's quiet a moment before her voice goes softer. "Another promotion? Are you alright? Can I do anything to help?"

I shake my head as I answer. "No, I'm fine. Just a feeling maybe I'm crazy." I try laughing it off and change the subject I didn't want to worry her. "Kids should be getting ready for school hows that going? They excited?"

"No but I am the brats are driving me crazy. Well Emily is excited to see her friends again."

Smiling blinking back the tears as my phone buzzes showing my sister sent me something.

"That's good, they have everything they need?" I question opening the text seeing Zoey cuddled on my bed, her head laying on the pj's I had left on the pillow.

I wipe the moisture away sending back a heart face and an aww.

"Mostly just need some notebooks and they'll be set." She replies.

"I have some at sis's house they can have. I'll let her know so she can grab them for you."

Zashi walks down the stairs before waving and leaving, probably heading to the teacher meeting.

I wave back as she talks in my ear.

"You sure? I can get them easy babydoll you don't have to."

Pulling out some of the sweets and stirring the miso. "Yea, don't worry about it I have most of my stuff online now anyway."

"Well ok if you're sure, well I gotta go pee so I'll talk to you later."

We say goodbye and I begin starting some food prep for when people do start coming in.

Working in a daze even when customers came in, though I did my best to be polite and provide good service my mind was elsewhere. I bet my family would start the freak out two more days from now.

Then this would be an issue, David would start worrying as well but probably low key freak by the end of the second week. I needed to find a way home soon…also a time to tell Nikki about being engaged...wait I hadn't even got the details about the villain hideout, I'd have to ask her later about that.

Feeling my wrist vibrate I see an incoming call from my grandma.

Glancing around to make sure my customers were good I stepped into the kitchen to take the call.

"Hey, can't talk long." I answer, taking a seat covering a yawn.

"That's fine, I was just calling to check in, that's all. So how are you?"

"I'm ok, just tired, the time difference is wonky." I say checking on some of the cakes I had put in the oven.

I had to take my grandma's calls or she'd keep calling or think something was wrong or I was mad at her. I didn't blame her, she knew she was the one person I'd always answer the phone for, I had blown off my own parents to answer her call and they knew it too.

"Well are you getting enough sleep? Are you sure everythings alright?" she questions as I take a seat rubbing my face looking at the damn codes.

"Hmm? Yea I'm good, meeting new people that are super nice and pretty cool. Got this super decked out place and I get off in a couple hours and plan on going exploring with Nikki if she's up for it. There's so many sights to see." I reply rereading the rest of the sentence. I had done my heart tightening.

We need your help with the villains and the hero's, though should we die before then we will not be able to return you.

I had just finished it and was holding onto my tears just barely. I couldn't break yet. I still had to get through work and tell Nikki before I could. If I did it now I would hurt someone I needed to withdraw from the world to process this. Until then I had to wear a mask of being alright.

"Oh that's good you'll have to send me some pictures. We're having a BBQ tomorrow with everyone so lets do a facetime then. She suggests making me bow my head, biting my lip and my nails biting into my palm.

"Yeah! That will be good. I'll see ya tomorrow then maybe I'll find a tall building to watch the sunrise with everyone." is my response as I close my eyes before standing and saying. "I have to go, I love you bye."

I hang up and take a breath before putting on a smile and covering the papers and walk out to the front and begin to get back to work.

When it hits ten I flip the sign glad it was Saturday and we closed early and had Sundays off. I clean up the shopp jumping out of my skin almost when I hear a knock on the glass.

Flipping around clutching the broom tightly like a weapon I see Dabi through the window with Nikki? I didn't think much of it, Nikki is Nikki and can often find friends in strange places.

Though I'm one to talk.

I flip the lock and allow them in before shutting and locking the door back up.

"Yo, how goes it? " I greet noticing Nikki have an almost wary air about her which was strange because it seemed it was directed towards me.
