Walking into the house I hear a males voice and frown, Gummy should have been at work as it was just early afternoon.

Following the voice I see Tomura and Kurogiri lounging on our couch.

"What the hell? Ya know what whatever...where's my friend?" I question shaking my head and just going over joining them by plopping onto the couch.

"Lady Nikki said she had to be somewhere and left about ten minutes ago." Kurogiri responds.

Shrugging I face Tomura "I still don't have an answer, honestly don't fully agree with you but I'm not a hero type of person."

His hand goes to my throat his middle finger raised. "So I should just kill you now then is what you're saying."

Smacking his hand off me I stretch out. "I'm not in the mood for foreplay. I'm saying I simply don't have a stance at this moment. You don't seem like the boss behind all of this and frankly I haven't decided if I like you."

"Perhaps this is a new experience? It is quite a but to think about, though with how calmly you seem to be finding us here you have secrets of your own." Kurogiri interrupts before Tomura could go off.

I shrug watching Malik slip outside to play with the goats. "Everyone has secrets, I'm just beginning to think about the future here is all. Ever since that night I've had some strange encounters. So what would I get for joining you? Because to be forward I'm to the point where I don't give one flying fuck about anything that isn't benifitting."

"So what is it you want?" Tomura questions leaning back arm draping along the back of the couch.

I give him a deadpan look. "I have no clue what I want."

Kurogiri snorts as Tomura just stares at me. "What?"

I shrug and stand stretching. "I'm a woman, women don't know what they want till they hear it or see it then they want it. Well some women know what they want and go for it but I am not one of those. Anyway tea or anything? I would offer some sweets but I'm sure Nikki ate them all."

Without waiting for them to answer I walk to the kitchen grabbing some tea and then a glass of brandy and a glass of wine for the other two. I remembered from the show Tomura had always had brandy one the rocks and once I saw Kurogiri with a glass of red wine.

We had alcohol because I cooked with it occasionally and Nikki drank sometimes though not often while I gave it up completely after the AllMight incident.

Walking back in I see Tomura on the phone looking annoyed while Kurogiri sits waiting.

"Yes master she's here now."

My breath hitches as I realize he was on the phone with All for One, covering it with a wave I set the drinks on the table.

"He wants to talk to you." Tomura says, holding out the phone.

I try to not show my unease forgetting completely about the feather that was on a necklace over my chest. Taking the phone warily I look at the two males before me as I sit back down.

"Hello?"

"Hello Sarah, I understand that my Tomura is trying to recruit you to his cause?" his voice raises the hair on the back of my neck though I don't react outwardly.

"That would be correct. Who is this."

A low chuckle that creeped me out. "I am Tomura's teacher, Shigaraki. He tells me you do not know what you want. Perhaps I could help with that. If you would be so kind to come meet me I could give you exactly what you need."

I take a drink of my tea stalling a bit while I think, "My apologies but I'm afraid that is not possible as I have been extremely busy and because of the incidents my movements are being watched. Though I am curious, what is it you think I need?"

"Very well perhaps at a later date then. Well then it wouldn't be a surprise if I just told you would it?"

"Hmm well I'll hand you back to him, then I have to go do somethings." I say, passing him back his phone.

Standing I head outside to feed and water the goats and chickens along with check on the crows.

As I was setting the bucket of food down to open the gate hearing the goats yelling for their food a hand on my shoulder makes me jump.

"Hey kid you ok? I felt your heart racing a moment ago and some male voices?"

I relax seeing it was Hawks, glancing back at the house I see the other two had left.

Letting out the breath I didn't know I was holding I just planted my face into his chest. "Oh thank fuck...it's just been stressful the last half hour or so...you are undercover with villians right?"

I don't bother lifting my head just needing to know I wasn't about to die from a moody man child and his mentor.

"Uhhhh...right. That.. yeah, I am why? What does that have to do with this? Wait.. were there villains here?"

I nodded feeling his arms wrap protective around me and him looking around. "They left...but holy hell these are the ones I was kind of not wanting to know mainly because of their boss…''

I feel him relax as I pull away trying to shake it off. "Anyway thanks for checking up on me, sorry I worried you."

He shrugs, smirking tilting his head. "Well I am a hero, saving damsels in distress is part of the job."

Rolling my eyes at him I pick up the feed and enter the fence. "Hilarious, bet that works on all the other girls doesn't it?"

He laughs leaning on the fence eyeing a chicken. "Well what did these villains want?"

I raise an eyebrow and point to him. "Leave the chicken alone. I will buy you nuggets if you want but leave my chickens alone. And just to try to recruit me due to the whole drunken incident."

He perks up pointing at me. "I'll hold you to that. But why you?"

Dumping the food in their containers I answer. "Because who else can throw AllMight like nothing and destroy that much that fast? Though I bet if they knew my quirk they wouldn't have just left like that."

He tilts his head. "What exactly is your quirk anyway?"

I walk over to the chicken coop and start collecting the eggs facing him while I did so. "Adaptation. I literally adapt to anything as long as it's not an insta kill or if I'm tired it wears down faster."

"What?! That is unheard of, so if you were drowning you'd get gills or something?" he questions.

I nod but hold up a finger. "Theoretically. I haven't tried that yet, remember I just got it so I don't know the limits just yet. It's mainly a defensive quirk besides the strength and speed."

"Interesting...you have to keep me up to date with it, though if you do anything too dangerous like playing with fire just don't forget to take off the feather first." he says pointing at his chest.

Chuckling I nod. "Fair enough."

"So kid what kind of criminal where here to freak you out so bad?"

I sigh walking over to him rubbing the arm that held the buckets. "The mastermind behind them all, luckily he wasn't here but his prodogee was and talked with him on the phone. I can't ever meet him...his quirk would not let it end well for anyone. Nikki and I have to try and stay far away from him or it would be apocalyptic."

Hawks just blinks at me tilting his head. "Wait, you know who the brain is? Do you know where?"

I shake my head looking at him. "No, I'm actually really bad with names...and anyway some stuff has to happen first that can't be changed. Honestly the only reason I'm giving this much info is because I know you hate liars and hiding things you consider lieing."

We start walking back towards the house. "So if you know so much about me you must be a fangirl of mine." He says, smirking, folding his wings tightly across his back, hands going behind his head.

I roll my eyes. "Crushing sure but not some fangirl way. We wouldn't work out in the long run romantically. I'm too damaged and wouldn't be able to have a healthy relationship with you, you need someone who can give you their full heart and mend your broken pieces. I'm just a shell of the person I used to be, too many back stabbers, heartbreaks and the last person I dated was someone I didn't think I could love fully the way they deserved. So sorry to burst your bubble but I'm just gonna be your best friend."

"That's deep...well guess we can be two broken bastards together then. Anyway I don't want to compete for you anyway, the dude would be better for you than me." He comments, making me raise an eyebrow.

"Who are you talking about?"

He spreads his wings taking to the sky calling down. "Your fiance! Remember to be ready by 7 no work tonight!"

He's gone before I could even respond. Sighing I go inside to the kitchen to wash the eggs and put them in the fridge.
