Four months later

Nikki walks in yawning as I sip my coffee watching the morning news.

"The people of the city are waking up this morning finding all the graffiti of the city has been cleaned by some mysterious gang. There's not many who's quirks would be able to do the entire city over night. So whoever did this the people thank you for cleaning our beautiful city."

I glance over to her raising an eyebrow. "Nice work, though we still got raised two ranks, let's hope you don't get caught for this good deed or you may jump to the top ten."

She stretches. "I don't know what you're talking about, I only went out clubbing." she reponds a smirk on her face as she walks closer watching the news with me.

"Also we have reports of all the trash from the rivers and streams throughout the city have been cleaned, is this the work of the same people or perhaps some other group?"

"Well that goes the same for you then." she snorts knowing we had both been working our asses off to make the city better.

I had been working behind the scenes volunteering at shelters, franchising the cafe and working in animal shelters and also getting close with the yakuza to try to find Eerie. Nikki had been working with the fire stations and police and been getting in the martial arts committee. We both had become rising stars in the hero world rising quickly up the ranks even though we tried to stay in the low fifties we were now in the teens. She was ranked number seventeen with me at the sixteen spot. Over the past months Bakugo, kirishima and Deku had been coming over regularly to hang out.

Gummy had moved back to his place so it was just Nikki and I now though our house always had guests both villain and hero it seemed. We had even quit bothering locking the door.

"Don't know what you're talking about. I was sleeping all night." I responded by sipping my coffee eyes going back to the tv as the rankings came up.

"It looks like our two newest heroes in training are rising up even faster now resting at eleven and twelve. Will they rise even higher before the annual hero ball?"

Cursing I turn to the kitchen. "Fuck, we need to piss off some people...maybe during the liscense exame?"

Nikki grins. "Yes! I actually have seen AllMight, Hawks, Gummy, GangOrca, Present Mic all conspiring last night. I bet they're the ones we'll be against."

I return her sinister smile. "Oh this will be so fun. I can finally beat the shit out of Hawks for all the clubbing he's been making me do every fucking night."

We both got ready for the test and now that Malik was old enough to be left home alone without supervision I could leave him home especially with me going into dangerous situations now.

We arrived at the place they told us to go and saw a bunch of teens all looking to get their hero licences and when we walked in they stared and started to whisper to each other glancing our way.

"Yo, so what do you think will happen here?" Nikki questions stretching her legs while I stretched my arms.

"Dunno, all I know is because of us Nezu is the one planning everything so it's going to be killer." I respond looking over the crowd at costumes to try and guess on possible quirks.

"I think the others will avoid us for the most part though, look how they are giving us space. They either are afraid of us or plan to target us." I add.

She nods in agreement. "Well it will be interesting for sure."

The tired dude drones on about the exam, this would be a free for all with the balls but with a twist. Nikki and I would not be allowed to work together on this round due to us already working with the pros and our special circumstances.

The walls collapse and Nikki heads to the left while I head to the right, she would get by this easily by just creating a shield so that nothing could touch her.

Me on the other hand would be a bit different as I couldn't do a shield like her.

A crowd of fifteen kids surrounded me causing me to raise my eyebrow at them, the buzzard had just gone off. "You sure about this kiddos?"

The leader steps forward and the ground cracks under me. "Now!"

I side step familiar with this trick, AllMight used it on me a couple times, I followed up with stomping my foot sending a shockwave back causing them to lose their balance and threw my three balls getting the leader in one hit.

Mine lit up showing I passed and the announcer says. "And the first two have passed. No surprise there they are unofficially pros after all. Now the rest of you hurry up so I can sleep."

The others just stood open-mouthed still processing what just happened seems it had happened in less than twenty seconds.

I wave and walk to the other room to wait for the next challenge. Nikki shows up at the same time as I do so we just use the time to stretch knowing the next challenge would be the difficult one as the Heros that normally would blow up our phones or show up in the mornings had been silent so we knew they would be a part of this.

After what seemed like forever the first challenge was done and I could see Mt lady flip her hair as she walked in.

The next task was search and rescue along with keep an eye out for villains. This time we helped do the rescue as we waited for the villains to show.

Nikki lifted the rubble with her quirk while I used super speed to rescue the people underneath and gave them to the kids to get to the medical area.

Red feathers embed themselves next to my head, I had just barely moved my head in time to avoid them in my eyes.

"Hey little crow lets dance."

Hawks was in the sky above us with a giant feather sword in his hand.

My Hero name had been chosen for me, the murder of crows that had adopted me had been putting feathers in my hair and followed me everywhere, along with singing at the club I had earned the name CrowSong.

I give the kid next to me the person I had been carrying. "Hey birdbrain it's not nice to throw things."

Nikki watches the interaction slowly lowering the buildings now that the people were rescued in this area.

Facing the man I focus on my back forcing my body into thinking I needed to fly, I had worked on controlling my quirk though I still could mostly only use it for defense right now. "Nikki, I'll handle the bird. Kid keep up rescue."

I slip off the black and yellow hoodie and tie it around my waist dodging more feathers running up the side of a collapsed building growing black crow wings from my back.

Hawks eyes widened as this was the first time I had done this on command in front of him. "Oh so the crow can fly."

Flapping them once I'm airborne, my wings were bigger than Hawks so the wind blew up clouds of dust covering my flight path.

My eyes adjust and I can see Hawks scanning the area waiting for me, I still had his feather though so I knew he knew exactly where I was.

"I am here!"

Flipping to the voice I see AllMight about to do a smash right where there was a rescue going on, Nikki was too far away for her quirk to deal with him as she faced Endeavor?!

Cursing I change course on a hairpin and tackle AllMight exposing my back to Hawks.

Pain erupts on my back as AllMight hits me with both fists causing us to crash land into the ground in a sort of clearing right near Nikki.

Coughing I spring away retracting the wings as they would hinder me against AllMight, I land in a crouch at Nikki's side trying to regain my breath from the impact.

"Shit you good?" She questions slamming Endeavor into the ground with an invisible fist.

I nod still coughing, keeping my eyes on AllMight while throwing a boulder at Hawks drawing him closer to us and away from the kids doing rescue.

Suddenly Nikki sends us flying to the side and right where we had been, FatGum fist into the ground where we had been. The hair on my arms stand and I slap my hands over Nikki's ears just as a wave of sound hits us.

We share a look, this wasn't good, we still had one more to show and as it was, this was a lot for us.

Sighing, I released her head as I had to be able to fight. She faces off against Endeavor and Gummy keeping them a distance away, while I handled the other three keeping the sound away from Nikki seems her ears were more sensitive.

Finally the last villain shows and I look to Nikki nodding. We had a plan to deal with multiple strong enemies that we hadn't shown anyone yet, we had made some combo moves that worked very well for us.

Gang Orca had landed a hit to my side coming out of the fucking water next to me.

She tosses her two into the middle of the clearing while I quickly toss the rest creating a nice little pile, well except Hawks who was too damn quick though not quick enough to escape the dome Nikki creates around all of them.

I lean on my knees catching my breath watching the group hitting the dome.

"This won't hold all of them for long!" Nikki warns sweat forming on her temples.

Taking a deep breath I straighten and put my hoodie back on. "Got it covered just contain us till time runs out."

She nods and I launch myself at the dome. She opens it right before I hit it and closes it the second I was in.

Allmight and Gummy both go for a punch while Hawks shoots his feathers at me, Mic tries to break out directing his sound towards Nikki as does Gang.

I duck grabbing both mens fists and use their momentum and toss them into Mic and Orca to get their focus solely on me as soon as they are clear, flames surround me.

Throwing up my arms I activate my scales to avoid getting burned. Jumping straight up I land into Hawks crushing him into the top of the barrier and causing him to fall straight on to Endeavor.

Of course to avoid burning his team mate his flames die.

"Three minutes! Hold out till then!" Nikki calls out.

I don't have time to acknowledge her as they synchronize their attacks on me at the same time.

Groaning in pain as AllMights, Gangs and Gummy's hits all land. I had just been able to avoid the others but ran straight into theirs.

"Shit! Crow!" Nikki yells and out of the corner of my eye I see her begin to stand from her crouch.

"Don't! Keep the dome up!" I yell stopping her.

Realizing Endeavor had been quiet I look to see him heating up. "Drop the dome or your friend will die hero!"

My eyes widen as does all the others, if he did that attack in here he would majorly hurt his own teammates.

"You asshat! Trickster Magus keep it up no matter what!" I scream running at Endeavor willing my body to grow colder than I had ever gone and grow in size.

Nikki curses as the others prepare for the blast, I manage to tackle Endeavor just as the attack goes off straight into me and the whole dome explodes with steam.

My entire body exploded with pain but I could feel my healing quirk working, my eyes felt extremely heavy and I managed to stand again not caring. I was stepping on Endeavor and the buzzer goes off.

My legs give out as I fight to stay awake, that was the backlash of my quirks. I needed sleep to use them...the universe had given an insomnia a quirk that needed sleep.

I sink into a soft body and upon looking up I see Gummy has caught me.

"Holy shit kid, you've been holding out on us." Hawks says walking over.

I realize I was only in one hand of Gummy's which made me feel tiny but at the moment I was too tired to care.

"Dude...I need food…"Nikki groans holding her stomach walking over to us high fiving me.

"Well done you two! Because of the top three being here the cameras followed, you two will be a hit!" Gang Orca praises making our heads snap to him.

"What?!"

Gummy nods using his other hand to point to the news crews in the stands making Nikki and I both curse.

Sighing knowing we couldn't do anything right now about it because we were both past our limit at the time, taking on so many pros at once was exhausting, we still had more training to do.

Gummy gives me a piggyback ride as we head to the charts to see if we have passed or not. Thankfully we had passed.

Nikki was munching on some sweets while Hawks had brought me a coffee and I began sipping on it still on Gummy's shoulder not wanting to walk, plus it was fun being so high up.

As we were heading out we hear AllMight and Endeavor talking to the reporters about how that battle ended up and how they were glad we were heroes and how I had went from being known as the one who tossed AllMight to the mom hero.

"Wait what? Mom hero?" I question very confused, this was the first time I had heard the term.

Gummy stops so we can listen, Nikki tilts her head.

"It's said she is now known as CrowSong the mother of this city, many have said she has rehabilitated known criminals giving them a second chance throughout the country by giving them jobs and building homes for the homeless throughout the country, so what are your thoughts on these two rising heroes?" the lady questioned Endeavor.

AllMight laughs hands going to his hips. "Well those two are certainly very good heroes that I can't wait to see them accomplish things."

Endeavor rolled his eyes crossing his arms. "The only one to contribute more to this country than me is AllMight. These two just got lucky today, their quirks are still unknown after all."

Nikki and I roll our eyes and at the same time muttering. "Dick."

Gummy looks at us raising an eyebrow but doesn't comment, we had made it clear we did not like Endeavor in the slightest.

"Maybe we should do a survey to see which heroes give the most back to the community then." the reporter suggests and AllMight grins putting a thumbs up.

"What a fantastic idea!"

Nikki and I glance at each other. I gave every penny from hero work back to the community while she gave back ninety percent keeping enough to survive off.

We had become two more pillars throughout the country basically supporting AllMight and making it clear if you crossed us you'd regret it.

"If anyone besides him contributes more than me, I will personally congratulate them."

Nikki and I both snicker and shake our heads, we had been clashing with him since our debut.

The camera man must have heard us because he started to wave to get the reporters attention and we took that chance to get the hell out of there neither of us were fans of cameras though Nikki was on them more than I was seems she worked with the cops and firemen.

When we arrived home I collapsed onto my bed and just passed out hearing Nikki raid the kitchen.

I woke up nearly jumping out of my skin because I felt an arm around my waist and could only see darkness.

The darkness tickled which confused me and when the person the arm connected to made a deep sound I rolled away my face heating up.

I hit the floor and blink at the sudden light, sitting up I see Hawks on my bed and the darkness was his wings.

"Kid...what are you doing?" He questions sliding his wing down peeking out his head on one arm and I could see he was shirtless.

"What are you doing?!" I return leaning on the bed staring at him wondering why the hell he was in my bed and shirtless on top of that.

"Your bed looked comfy so I joined your nap." he says yawning but not bothering to move.

"And why are you shirtless?" I question motioning to him.

He smirks sitting up resting his head in his hand. "Clothes are restricting."

It took a second but when it clicked my face went red. "Hawks! What the hell!"

He laughs and lays back down. "Well if you're going to yell my name get back in bed."

I smack him and shake my head. "You wish birdy."

Suddenly feathers surround me and I feel my body leave the ground before plopping onto the bed next to Hawks.

"Oh you know you love me."

I squirm trying to get away without hurting him before finally just grabbing the closest thing to me, his wing, and bit.

"Fuuuck…."

I freeze eyes just going wide at the moan from him before just fucking bolting out of the bed and downstairs running straight into Nikki my face burning.

"Sarah? What the hell happened?"

I choke on my spit and start coughing as I put more distance between me and the stairs. "Hawks….wings….sensitive.."

She frowns before bursting into laughter. Gummy walks around the corner, a half smile on his face looking curious.

"What am I missing out on?"

Hawks saunters down with his pants hanging low, his shirt in one hand the other rubbing the back of his neck.

"Damn you have sharp teeth."

I duck behind Gummy. "Well don't be sneaking into my bed!"

Gummy tenses and his voice changes. "You snuck into her bed?"

Hawks raises his hands in surrender. "Whoa dude calm down, she was the one that curled into me."

I point at him still using Gummy as a shield. "Not my fault! I tend to cuddle whatever is in my bed! Hence why I sleep alone!"

Gummy looks down at me. "Is that why you used all those pillows to create a barrier between us when I lived here?"

I cough looking away glaring at Nikki who was cackling the entire time just watching the exchange somehow she had popcorn.

"Maybe…."

He laughs and I throw my hands up going to the kitchen giving up on them and getting some tea.

When I walked back in they had the news on and was showing the results of already of who gave back to the community the most.

AllMight was number one with me being number two then Nikki the third with Endeavor coming up in fourth making Nikki and I lose our shit.

Endeavor was there when the reporter was giving the results and giving the documentation proving it all.

Watching Endeavor get pissed on live TV was fucking great until the reporter says.

"Now with this in the two rising stars are now number six and nine. Our mother CrowSong in number six while The Trickster Magus resides in number nine. Who would have thought these two inspirational heroes were the amazing people they are. CrowSong is reported to volunteer in several different organizations including the following. Nursing homes, shelters, schools, animal shelters and giving over a hundred jobs to people in the past three months.The Trickster Magus has been volunteering her time fighting home disturbances with the police, fire rescues, cleaning parks around the country and has been caught as the one who cleaned the graffiti across the city all on her own in one night! These two are very involved with the community and are well liked by many."

Cursing at how high we had rose since just this morning, Hawks and Gummy looking confused at our frustration of being known.

"This is bad...we need to get lower on the list…" Nikki mutters rubbing her chin watching the TV."'

"We would like to thank them both for all they have done for us and we can't wait to see their appearance at the hero ceremony and ball next week. Now Endeavor you said you would personally thank them." the reporter says almost smugly putting the mic closer to Endeavor who looked pissed.

"I will congratulate them in person and thank them for all their hard work."

I pointed to the TV. "What ball?? I am not wearing a fucking dress."

"Looks like you will be." Hawks taunts and I throw my tea bottle at him.

"So this means we have to start our own agency." Nikki comments, turning back to us.

Sighing, I rub my face. "Wait, are we allowed to do a joint agency with both of us?"

She grins, catching onto my thoughts. "Then we could still do solo and just do internships!"

Gummy and Hawks just look at each other probably wondering why we'd want to do that in the first place.

"Yes! We can intern all those who don't get opportunities!" I add starting to get excited, both spots we got weren't bad spots as those that we replaced weren't really the best heroes in the first place.

Nikki pauses looking me over making me feel self conscious. "Dude...have you lost weight? I mean you look good but you seem smaller?"

I grin at her randomness, propping my hands on my hips. "I have thank you, finally down to one ninety." I motion to her. "You've lost too, damn we're becoming badass."

High fiving for all our hard work the guys just look confused, gummy had a proud smile even though I knew he was confused at her random side note.

"Wait when is this ceremony and ball?" I question, wondering if it would be on the day of my competition.

Since becoming the owner at the cafe I had started chef classes and had quickly become known in the business and culinary fields and next week was the competition against the country's finest chefs to see who held the title as Japan's finest chef.

"Next wednesday at three in the afternoon." Hawks replies, finally putting his shirt back on.

I watched curious, I had always wondered how he did it with his wings. His feathers floated in the air so he could fit the much smaller wing bones through the holes in the back of the shirt before the feathers reatch.

'Hmm so the same time as my competition...on my birthday..' my eyes slide to Nikki who was busy eating a cupcake 'I wonder if she remembers the date with all the crazy shit that's been going on.' I muse in my head picking up my tea bottle.

"Well I'm busy for that then, I promised the martial arts committee I would do a demo." Nikki says biting into her blue cupcake getting icing on her nose.

"I'm busy too, I have a chef thing that day that I can't get out of." I say shrugging, not really wanting them to know about the competition.

They only really knew I had taken classes but none of them knew about me actually becoming a world renowned chef. Nikki and I had busted our asses to make connections, I was well known in many trades, while she was known in law enforcement and martial arts though we were both known in the weapon communities as well.

"But ya hafta show! You both got in the top ten! I'm sure they'd understand!" Gummy exclaims to which Nikki and I share a look before shrugging.

"No. A promise is a promise." Nikki states flopping down onto the couch.

I walk towards the kitchen. "We have commitments and asking us to back out of things we already agreed to is not okay."

Tossing the bottle into the trash I grab a bag of carrots glancing at the time I had a half hour before it was the goats feeding time then an hour to get ready before going to the club for work.

When I walk back out I see Hawks hanging up the phone turning to us. "Okay, you can skip the ceremony but the ball you have to go to or you'll be insulting every hero there is, the ball starts at nine. I know you're both shit when it comes to fashion so leave the gowns to me."

Sighing and rubbing my face I reluctantly agree while Nikki just groans face planting into a pillow.

Gummy coughs looking away looking flushed, I tilt my head but it looked like he was trying to be discreet so I look away and kneel as Malik walked over to me.

"Whatever, no fucking heels though. And nothing too flashy, I just want to be able to sit on the side and not deal with being in the spotlight." I say kissing Malik's nose and taking the toy from him, tossing it, watching him chase after it.

"Honey, you're going with me. The spotlight will be on me and you have to match my standards." Hawks says smirking.

I shake my head. "No, plus after tonight I won't have to sing anymore!" I say excitedly, tonight was the last night of my probation which meant I could be free of tracking and owing people.

He blinks at me, Nikki snickers while Gummy frowns. "Wait, that's tonight? Well then I guess you won't hate me too much after tonight then...you see tonight it's a guys only night so I need you to sing a different set of songs."

My eyes narrow at his tone, that was the tone I had gotten to know as something I would hate would follow, last time he used that tone I had to get in a slutty dress and go clubbing with him which almost resulted in me in jail again.

"Hawks...I swear to god you try and force me into yet another dress I will murder you." I warn standing and crossing my arms.

"Right… no dress, this time." he responded with a smirk and a glance to gummy which worried me.

Nikki walks past me patting my shoulder. "Good luck man. No killing without me."

Sighing I rub my face figuring I would just put up with whatever the bird cooked up seems it was my last night, though I wouldn't admit it outloud but I had grown fond of singing at the club and was a bit sad it would be ending.
