Disclaimer: Any characters, places, or things relating to Percy Jackson belongs to *drumroll please* Uncle Rick. The musical Hamilton: An American Musical belongs to the talented composer and singer Lin Manuel Miranda.

A/N: First of all, I'm going to write a Hamilton lyric of the chapter up here, and the fanfic recommendation at the bottom authors note. Second of all, I've come up with an updating schedule. I'll start writing on Saturday, and then post on the next Saturday. It might end up being every two weeks, but hopefully it will be every week. Third of all, I'll reply to reviews at the bottom. Fourth of all, I've made a relatively big casting change. Hazel will be Maria Reynolds, and Hazel will be Peggy Schuyler. I'll update the previous chapters soon. Lastly, here's the Hamilton lyric: "We will fight up close, seize the moment and stay in it. It's either that or meet the business end of a bayonet." -Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down)

Percy Third Person POV:

"Percy, you know, it's going to be a lot easier on you if you switch apartments, now that you're going to Long Island every day," Sally Jackson pointed out. Percy sighed. They had been having this discussion for a while. Sally kept insisting that Percy should move to an apartment closer to the theater, since he would be driving there every day. Percy thought he could handle having a long drive, and still be on time. (A/N: In chapter 1, I made it seem like he lives with his parents, but he does have his own apartment. He just comes over a lot)

"Mom, it'll be fine," Percy insisted. Sally raised an eyebrow at him, and he caved.

"Fine, I'll go look around," Percy said.

"Great. I've already come up with some ideas myself. The theatre's in a town called New Rome, so it would probably be best if you could find something there." Sally suggested.

"Oh, um, so I guess I just google apartments in New Rome and pick which one I like?" Percy asked.

"Kind of. Luckily for you, I've already picked out some apartments I think you'd like. We can look at those while Estelle is at school. After that, I'll have to go pick up Estelle. If you wanted to go look at some of them, we'd need someone to watch Estelle, so we will need to wait for Paul to get home from teaching. How does that sound?" Sally offered. Estelle was Percy's little sister, and Paul was his stepfather.

"Oh, yeah, that sounds great," Percy said.

They sat down at Sally's computer, and she showed him several different options. In the end, Percy went with an option that was a) within walking distance of the theater, b) affordable, and c) The guy who wanted a roommate was Luke Castellan, who was playing Aaron Burr. Sally emailed him, asking if they could come by and take a look. A few minutes later, Luke replied, saying yes.

After all this had happened, Sally turned to Percy.

"Well, it's time to pick up Estelle. Do you want to come?" Sally wondered.

"Sure," Percy replied.

Percy and Sally drove to Estelle's school, and waited in the front for Estelle to come out. Soon, a woman who was presumably a teacher came out with a group of other 6 year olds.

"Hi Percy! Hi Mommy!" Estelle shouted when she saw them. Percy and Sally walked over. Percy scooped Estelle into his arms while Sally chatted with the teacher.

"Hey, Guppy. Did you have a fun day at school?" Percy asked Estelle.

"Yeah! We played outside, and taught us about vowels and consta-conosn-consonants and then she let us play with the blocks and I made a tower!"

"That's great! Do you want to go home now? I'll tell you a secret," Percy whispered.

"Yeah?" Estelle whispered back.

"Mommy made cookies. Blue cookies. And guess what? You can have a cookie!" Percy responded.

"Cookies! Cookies!" Estelle chanted.

"Guppy, we gotta be home to eat cookies," Percy said.

"I see," Estelle answered seriously. Percy chuckled. Percy sat down in the passenger seat, next to Sally. He put Estelle in the back.

"I've been waiting for you two!" Sally commented.

"Well, Estelle and I needed to have a very important conversation about cookies, didn't we, Estelle?" Percy asked.

"Yes we did," Estelle corroborated.

Sally laughed, and they spent the rest of the drive listening to Estelle talk on and on about her day.

Once they got home, Percy handed Estelle two blue cookies while taking two for himself.

"Ogh, oo wan a ookie?" Percy asked, his mouth full of cookies.

"How many are left?" Sally asked.

"Our!" Percy answered.

"Four? Okay, sure set aside two and leave two for Paul," Sally requested.

"Sure," Percy replied, having finally finished.

"Paul should be home in about 20 minutes," Sally informed Percy.

"Great," Percy responded, and they talked with Estelle until Paul arrived. Paul was a pretty tall, thin man with salt and pepper hair.

"Hi, Sally, Estelle, Percy!" Paul greeted. Everyone said hello, and Sally told Paul to watch Estelle for her. He agreed, and Sally and Percy set off for New Rome.

Once they arrived at the building, Percy knocked on the apartment door.

"Who is it?" Percy heard a voice call.

"It's Percy Jackson. I'm coming to see the apartment," Percy called back.

They heard footsteps coming from the apartment, and the door opened to reveal Luke Castellan: Tall, handsome, with blonde hair and blue eyes. The only thing disfiguring his otherwise perfect appearance was a long scar, running down the side of his face.

"Hey, guys, come on in," Luke said. He walked further into the apartment, Sally and Percy trailing behind.

The apartment was small, and gave off a slightly cramped feeling. However, it looked comfortable, had 2 bedrooms, and had all the basic necessities of an apartment. There was a kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom.

"So, are there any questions you guys have?" Luke wondered.

"Yeah, um, so are there any rules you would put in place?" Percy asked.

"Okay, so I've figured out a few rules that I would like. If you'd want to change something, we can figure that out. So, this is kind of an obvious one, but knock before going into each other's rooms. For rent, we'll split the cost unless one of us can come up with a good reason, and the other can pay the whole thing. For chores, we can do a bigger clean up on the weekends and do smaller tasks like loading the dishwasher or vacuuming every day. We can switch weekly for those. For food, obviously if you need or want an ingredient or groceries, just go buy it," Luke informed Sally and Percy.

They thought it over for a minute, had a quiet whispered discussion ("Mom, it sounds like this could be good," "Percy but you're going to be so far away," "Mom, this was your idea,")

"I'd love to move in," Percy told Luke.

"That's great! You can move in anytime this week," Luke told them.

"Oh, before we forget, what's your phone number? You and Percy should be able to communicate," Sally said.

"095-874-437," Luke said.

"Great. I'll see you later!" Percy said, waving goodbye.

"Well, he seems nice," Percy told his mother as they walked out the door.

"That's great! It's also doubly good that he's in the cast. Are you looking forward to moving in?" Sally asked.

"Yeah," Percy answered, "I am."

Annabeth third person POV:

Annabeth sighed. Yesterday, she had officially handed in her letter of resignation to the architecture firm. They had been disappointed. Everyone had. When Annabeth called her parents, they had reacted as expected.

They had been mad, upset, disappointed, and most of all, they had made it abundantly clear they didn't want to see or hear from Annabeth ever again.

Suddenly, Annabeth's phone rang. It was Piper.

"Piper, hi, how are you?"

"I'm good, thanks. Um, so I have a question for you."

"Yeah?"

"I've just moved into this apartment in New Rome, the town where the theater is. I've sort of been wondering if you'd like to be my roommate."

"Yeah! Totally! That'd be amazing! Is there anyone else that will be with us?"

"Yes, actually. I asked Hazel and she said sure."

"Okay, what day should I move in?"

"Any day this week is totally fine,"

"Perfect. Bye!" Annabeth said, and she hung up. Annabeth smiled. Piper was nice, and so was Hazel. Now, she would get to move in with them. This was amazing!

Even though her parents were awful, and her life was just generally a mess, she felt like everything was going to be alright. She had a home, a job, great friends. Annabeth smiled, really and truly, for the first time in the past few days. This might actually work out.

A/N: So yeah… that was a pretty short chapter. I was running out of inspiration, but I have a plan for the next few chapters. It really makes my day if you review, so I'd really appreciate it. Of course, if you don't want to, then that's totally fine. This time, it's actually a fanfiction author recommendation, but she's really amazing, so here we are: Jillian Emily. Review replies:

Icouldnotfindanyotherusername: Thank you so much! Also, if anyone has a fanfic, book, or fanfiction author they want me to recommend, just let me know in the reviews and I'll include it in the next chapter.
