Thunder and lightning boomed outside, that's where the rumbling came from. Not the train approaching but there was a thunderstorm outside. There was a loud sound of lightning and the lights went out sparks flying everywhere, people screaming. It must've been because of the Chimera, the Chimera is an omens for storms and natural disasters!
Then she heard a growl from behind her, the Chimera had woken up. "Where are you demigod!" she roared. Goldie had no idea what to do.
"Show yourself demigod, what are you child of hecate? Worker for Circe?" she bellowed, Goldie quietly ran to where she heard the Chimera shook her wrist and swung her sword. Goldie felt a smooth slice followed by the Chimera's ummmm I don't know how to describe this, maybe a mix of a scream and a roar? Or maybe a screaming Wookie? Oh or maybe a hissing goat?
Anyways Goldie managed to get a chunk out of the Chimera but she didn't know where. Suddenly the lights flickered on and Goldie quickly shook her wrist again. Apparently Goldie had sliced off the goat part of the Chimera, as she watched the Chimera turn into dust the train arrived blowing the golden dust against the wall.
When the door opened Goldie went inside and sat down and waited for the doors to close. After everyone entered she heard the woman's voice say
Please stand clear of the closing doors.
The doors closed and the train started moving.
20 minutes later the voice announced
Arriving at old mill station old mill station.
Goldie got up and prepared to get off, when the train came to a stop and the doors opened Goldie walked out.
She went down the steps and into the parking lot of one of the Toronto Adventures Locations that they rented by the Humber river except they weren't there because it was winter, and who wants to go kayaking, canoeing, or paddle boarding in the middle of winter in a frozen lake?
