Disclaimer: As I'm sure you've realized, I own nothing, and have no intention of making money from this. All right go to the Lin Manuel Miranda and the Broadway cast of Hamilton, and Uncle Rick.

A/N: Hello everybody! Here's an early update for no reason other than I'm leaving for a two day skiing trip, and I won't be able to post on Saturday, so I figured early is better than late. The chosen title will be revealed at the bottom, except you'll probably know what it is already if I've already changed it. Anyway, here's your Hamilton lyric: "You want a revolution? I want a revelation, So listen to my declaration, We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal. And when I meet Thomas Jefferson (unh!) I'ma compel him to include women in the sequel!" The Schuyler Sisters, Angelica Schuyler/Renee Goldsberry.

Annabeth POV (This is set directly after the last chapter)

Annabeth was not one to cry. She didn't cry when she was five and her mother went on a business trip and never came back. She didn't cry when she was seven and was terrified every night of nightmares of small, cramped rooms filled with spiders, and Helen refused to comfort her. As Annabeth had once heard Helen say to her father when she thought Annabeth couldn't hear, she didn't mind playing bad cop. And so, it was only logical that Annabeth would feel sad, sure, but she wasn't going to cry. This was the thought that was running through her mind as she tried to stay cool. Youarenotgoingtocryyourarenotgoingtocry, She repeated to herself.

As Annabeth finally neared her room, she breathed a sigh of relief. All she wanted to do was sleep, and wake up the next morning and pretend this whole nightmare of a night was a dream. As she rushed down the hall, Annabeth bumped into someone. She cursed. Of course, it was just her luck that that someone was a person she knew rather well, with a certain pair of sea green eyes.

"Annabeth, are you okay?" Percy asked.

"I'm-I'm fine," Annabeth responded. Contrary to her words, tears were threatening to spill.

"Are you sure? Because you don't look-"

"I said I'm fine, okay?" Annabeth said, walking away.

Unfortunately, Percy followed. "Annabeth, you are not okay. What's wrong?"

"Jus-Just cut it out! Leave. Me. Alone. Can't you see that I don't want to talk?" Annabeth snapped.

Percy backed off, seeing she was upset.

"Okay, okay, sorry," He said, looking hurt.

Annabeth didn't care. She walked down the rest of the hallway. Finally, she got to her room. Thankfully, the door was unlocked, so Annabeth walked in and sat on one of the beds. Piper was on the other, and she was on the phone, presumably with Jason. As soon as she saw Annabeth's face, she quickly said her goodbyes.

"Jason, babe, I gotta go. See you later," She said quickly.

Piper walked over, and gave Annabeth a hug. No words were necessary. The tears that had been threatening to spill for most of the evening finally began to flow down her cheeks.

Piper eventually got her to calm down enough to say what had happened.

"It was just like he didn't even care that I was there, you know? It-It just had to be all about him, and I couldn't even get a word in edgewise! I just, I really had my hopes up, you know? I've liked him for kind of a while, and then he asked me out, and I was-I was really excited about this. It's been a while since I've gone on a date, and… I just thought that this would work out. He just seemed like the perfect kind of guy, when he's really just some self centered idiot who likes steering other people around. And I was just so stupid, thinking that this would actually work out," Annabeth said, her voice muffled as she spoke into Piper's shoulder.

"No, no, you're not stupid. You're like so smart it's not even fair," Piper comforted. Annabeth let out a watery laugh.

Piper helped her calm down, and go to sleep, after much hugging and comforting and promises to decapitate Luke in the morning, but right now she really does need to go to sleep, and Annabeth is tired even though it's not late so she doesn't argue.

For the next couple days, Annabeth was in a bit of a funk. She sat next to Piper on the plane ride, listening to Piper's commentary, not saying a word. During the drive home, she stared quietly out the window. This pattern continued for the next couple of days.

As it was the weekend, Annabeth just had to avoid Luke until Monday.

Monday was practice at the theater.

Monday she would see Luke.

As most things we dread have an unfortunate habit of doing, Monday had arrived sooner than Annabeth had hoped.

The night before, Annabeth had talked with Piper.

"You are freaking Annabeth Chase. You are so smart, kind, amazing, and the most capable, independent woman I know," Piper had said, "I refuse to let you get so upset over some dumb boy."

Annabeth decided she would be professional. She was going to treat Luke like any other coworker. She wasn't going to talk to him about the train wreck of two days ago. She would apologize to Percy, saying she was frustrated about something, and she did not mean to snap at Percy, because yes that was uncalled for.

On Monday morning, Annabeth and Piper arrived at the theater. As they were walking in, Percy and Jason were walking in as well. Piper looked at Annabeth, her message conveyed clearly in her eyes: Are you all good to walk with Percy?

Annabeth answered, Yeah, yeah I'm okay. Go ahead.

Jason and Piper walked ahead, while Annabeth hung back with Percy.

She took a deep breath. "Percy, I'm sorry for snapping at you. I was just frustrated, and having a bad day. That was uncalled for."

Percy smiled. "That's okay."

"So we're all good?"

"We're all good," Percy echoed.

As they entered the auditorium, Annabeth paused, gathering up her courage.

"You okay?" Percy asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay," Annabeth answered. She entered the auditorium.

Sitting right near the entrance, was Luke.

"Oh, hey, Annabeth," Luke greeted.

"Hi, Luke," Annabeth responded.

"Could we talk?"

"I don't see what there is to talk about," Annabeth answered coolly.

"Uh, the d-"

"Luke. Not right now. We can discuss this later," Annabeth answered. In that moment, all of her previous feelings disappeared. She realized that she really, truly, 100% didn't care.

Annabeth and Percy sat down, away from Luke.

"What was that about?" Percy asked.

"It's-It's nothing. Really."

After that, the rehearsal actually went relatively smoothly. Luke seemed to get the hint, and he didn't talk to her about non work related things after that. Annabeth felt like a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. For the first time in a few days, Annabeth was able to focus, and she could tell her acting had improved for the better from it.

Percy POV

Towards the end of the rehearsal, Chiron gave an announcement.

"All right everyone, listen up," Chiron called. Everyone quieted down and listened to the director.

"So, there are a couple things. First of all, the performance dates have come out," At this everyone began talking, "Settle down. We have two weeks until the first performance. After that, it's an average Broadway eight shows a week. Second announcement is that now, we get into the finalizing stage of rehearsals. That means costume fittings, sound and mic checks, dress rehearsals, choreography finalizing, everything. So, you all have a costume fitting after work tomorrow. Everyone, please make sure that you a) tell the designer about a problem before me or Mr.D, b) are very nice, and are on time, as the costume fitters are very good and need all the time they can get, c) provide accurate measurements, and d) wear clean underwear."

Everyone laughed a bit at that.

"No, seriously. It will probably be one of the most most awkward experiences of your life if you don't," Chiron warned them.

A few minutes of answering questions later, Chiron let them go.

"Remember, everyone has two hours to get their costume fitted tomorrow. There will be a long wait time, so please stick around. We need everyone present and ready to go," Chiron said as everyone left.

The next day, after rehearsal, they all waited in the auditorium while the ten costume designers and fitters came in.

They each called out one name to have an appointment first. Thankfully, Percy's name was called, so his ADHD self didn't have to wait a half hour with nothing to do.

The designer, named Silena, was very nice. She listened to all his unsure opinions, ("I think like here he would maybe wear a greenish suit? "How come?" "Well, he was treasury secretary, right? And green's the color of money?") asking thoughtful questions and managing to extract helpful ideas. ("Okay, great, Percy. I love it, I have just the thing…")

Percy winced in sympathy as he saw Piper being dragged around by a rude girl named Drew. ("Drew, can we just slow down for a minute? I said I liked this one, it's great! Let's keep it!" "Ughh, do I have to explain this again? Honestly, people are so dumb sometimes.")

"Percy? You listening?" Silena asked him.

"What? Oh, yeah, I am," He responded.

"Great," She said, stretching the measuring tape around his neck, "Hmm… okay, this ruffle should fit… let's try it on."

Percy grabbed the white collar thingy with a six inch long ruffle in the front that she handed to him, and attempted to clip it around his neck.

Stifling a laugh at his failed attempt, Silena clipped it around his neck, straightening it out.

"Perfect," She proclaimed.

She handed him a blue jacket to complete his half finished outfit, and then stepped back to see how he looked with it.

"That's great. You make an amazing eighteenth century politician," Silena quipped.

"Why, thank you," Percy responded, in mock flatteredness. (A/N yeah I'm pretty sure that's not a real word but I don't know what other word to use so here we go)

After the fitting, Percy went home, feeling satisfied with his costume, and excited for the weeks ahead.

A/N: First of all: Y'all didn't really vote! It's true, only two people voted. And one of them was me. But that's okay, I think I'm going to go with: There's a Million Things I Haven't Done (But Just You Wait). Personally, it was a tie between that and Center Stage, but I think I like There's A Million Things I Haven't Done (But Just You Wait) better. That title was actually a mash up of two titles that LadyHW sent me. I know I've said this before, but thank you all so much for submitting titles.

This is a mortal AU where Percy and Annabeth are two teachers in love. He teaches marine biology, she teaches calculus. It's a series of one shots.
