Disclaimer: Next time on my birthday, I'll wish for the talent of Lin Manuel Miranda or Rick Riordan
A/N: Hello, everybody. How are you guys? I don't really have anything to say, so… on with the story!

Percy POV:
Percy awoke the next morning to snowflakes swirling outside his window. Percy grinned. He was most definitely a summer type of guy, there was no changing that, but there was something about that first snow of the year that just made you smile.
After eating breakfast and getting ready, Percy decided to head over to his mom's house. It had been a few weeks since he'd last visited, and he wanted to say hello.
Percy quickly texted his mom, asking if it'd be all right if he came over. Within a few minutes, she responded, saying of course he could.
About an hour later, Percy walked into the Jackson-Blofis apartment, dusting snow off his coat. He knocked on the door, which was soon opened by Paul Blofis, with his classic salt and pepper hair, and brown jacket.
"Percy! It's so nice to see you. Come in," Paul said, opening the door and letting Percy in.
"Hi, Paul, and Mom," Percy greeted with a smile as he entered his childhood home.
"Percy! How are you?" Sally greeted with a warm hug and bright smile.
"I'm great, thanks. What about you? How's the novel going?" He asked.
"It's going pretty well. I'm almost done with this one character ark that I've been waiting to finally complete, so that's been nice." Sally was writing her sixth book.
"That's awesome! Where's Estelle?" Percy asked.
"She's having a tea party in her room," Sally informed him. Percy walked over and saw Estelle sitting at a small plastic table with five stuffed animals, six tea cups filled with water, and an empty teapot.
"Hi, Es. Mind if I join?" He asked, sitting down at the table.
"Percy!" The seven year old exclaimed with delight, running over to him and giving him a hug.
Percy laughed, hugging her back.
"Percy Percy Percy guess what?"
"What?"
"Mommy made cookies. Blue cookies. And she said they'll be out of the oven soon and me and and Jelly and Fishie and Fuzzy and Shelly can have some!" Estelle said happily.
"That's awesome, Es," Percy said fondly.
"And if you're going to join us for tea you have to wear a tiara!" Estelle handed Percy a sparkly tiara, similar to the one that sat atop Estelle, and her stuffed animals' heads.
Percy let her place it on his head, and then he took a sip from a spare teacup.
"Delicious tea, m'lady," Percy commented.
Estelle just smiled, and chattered on and on about school and friends and stuffed animals and life.
It felt good to be back with his family in the house he grew up in, if only for a few hours.
Ten minutes later, Sally came in with a tray of warm, chocolate chip, blue cookies. Percy quickly grabbed one, and took a bite.
"This is amazing, Mom. As always," He complimented. Sally smiled and gave one to Estelle and one to each of Estelle's stuffed animals.
Estelle pretended to feed a cookie, and then ate it. "Mmm," She said, " thinks it's delicious."
Sally laughed at the little girl's antics and went back into the living room.
After playing with Estelle for a while longer, he walked back into the living room to talk to his parents before he had to go.
"So, Percy," Sally began, "Who's this girl you've been seeing? Annabeth, correct? The one who came for Thanksgiving?"
"Yeah," Percy said.
"Tell me about her."
Percy's eyes lit up as he spoke, "She's really amazing. She's smart and funny and a total nerd sometimes and she's a really, really good singer."
"You really love her, don't you?" This time it was Paul who spoke.
Percy thought for a moment, "Yeah, I do."
After talking some more, Percy said goodbye.
As he drove home, he got a call from Annabeth.
"Hey, Annabeth. How are you?" He greeted.
"I'm pretty good, thanks. Sorry for kind of ditching you yesterday. I got a really important message, and I had to go," Annabeth apologized.
"Oh, that's okay. It's fine. No biggie."
After talking for a bit longer, Percy pulled into the parking lot, and, coincidentally, Annabeth had to go.
They said their goodbyes, and hung up.
Percy wondered what was going on. She sounded kind of -stressed/worried/like-she'd recently-been-crying-but-was-now-a-bit-calmer.
Oh, well. She'd probably tell him sometime soon.
(A/N See folks, that's what we call a good first POV ending. No, I'm being sarcastic. That was a terrible POV ending.)

Annabeth POV:
Annabeth rolled out of bed late the next morning. After a minute of lying there, she got up.
"Hey, Hazel," Annabeth greeted as she walked into the main part of the small apartment. Hazel was typically an early riser.
"Morning, Annabeth," Hazel greeted as she sipped her coffee, "Piper's gone out with Jason." Annabeth nodded, not really paying attention.
Annabeth sat down at the kitchen table, thinking about the events of yesterday. Well, there was one thing she would do. She'd apologize to Percy. It felt better to have a course of action, but Annabeth still didn't know what to do about… Athena. About her mother.
Gods, after years of not knowing her, after years of hating this nameless figure, after years of only remembering her mother by the tears that had streamed down five year old Annabeth's face when her dad said that Mommy wasn't coming back, it just felt so… strange, to finally have a name and a face to put with the label of "crappy mother."
"You okay?" Hazel asked softly.
"I'm-I'm okay. I'm fine." Except she wasn't really. Annabeth knew that. Hazel probably knew too. Hazel was observant like that.
"What's wrong?"
And then it all came pouring out. It was like… word vomit. Hazel was a good listener, she sat there, and she listened all the way through, from, "I was five…" to "And now my mother is freaking Athena Zeus Olympia."
Hazel nodded. "Okay, well, that's what's happened. So how do you feel about it?"
Annabeth thought for a moment. "I just… I don't know how to handle it. I'm not used to this… not knowing. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel. I don't know what I'm supposed to do."
"So forget about what you should be feeling. What do you feel? I don't judge, and I promise that none of your friends or Percy will either."
"Okay, okay. I'm… I'm angry, I guess. I'm angry at Athena for leaving for one of the most stupid reasons possible. I'm angry she decided to talk to me now. I'm angry at my father for never telling me who my mother was. I'm kind overwhelmed with the craziness of it all. I'm a bit sad, I guess. Like, did I do something wrong? Has Athena now finally deemed me worthy?"
Hazel nodded. "Let's go one at a time. You're mad. What do you want to do about it?" She said.
"I want to yell at her. I want to tell her all of this myself. I want to know more," Annabeth responded.
"Okay. You're overwhelmed. What are you going to do? What do you think is going to help make sense of all this craziness?" Hazel asked.
"I'm going to figure out what to do. Figure out what's most important, what I want to do first. Then, once I know everything, once I learn as much as I can, I'll decide how I feel."
"Good, you're doing well. You said you were feeling sad," Hazel prompted.
"I… I want to talk to her, I guess. Find out the reasoning behind it."
"It looks like all these roads lead back to talking to her. Do you think that's best?" Hazel asked.
Thinking, Annabeth responded, "Yeah, yeah I think it is. I just don't know what feels most important."
"What is everything you feel you need to do?"
"I need to apologize to Percy 'cause I kind of ditched him. I need to talk to Athena. And… I guess that's really about it. Not as complex as I thought."
"So what do you want to do first? What's most important?"
"Well, I kind of want to talk to Percy first, because that'll be pretty quick. I can just, like, call him now," Annabeth said.
"Okay, sure," Hazel agreed.
Annabeth called Percy, who picked up on the second ring.
"Hey, Annabeth. How are you?"
"I'm pretty good, thanks. Sorry for kind of ditching you yesterday. I got a really important message, and I had to go."
"Oh, that's okay. It's fine. No biggie."
They kept talking for a bit, and then they hung up.
"Okay, now all that's left is talking to Athena," Annabeth said in a resigned tone.
One hour later, Annabeth was fully fed, dressed, and ready to go.
"You ready?" Hazel asked.
"Yeah, yeah I think so. Thank you so much for helping me with this," Annabeth said smiling.
"Anytime," Hazel responded, with a smile.
Annabeth got in the car, and an hour later, she parked on the end of 34th Street.
As she entered the building, she asked the receptionist to admit her to Athena's floor.
"Could I get a pass for floor 100? Yes, I am aware it's a private business floor. requested I come," Annabeth bluffed.
The man looked up, raising an eyebrow.
"Full name and key word?" He asked. Crap. For all her planning for this trip, she had forgotten about that pesky key word. Hopefully it hadn't changed.
"Uh, Annabeth Chase, and," here she lowered her voice again, "Pallas."
The man looked up at her. "I'm afraid I'll have to deny your request, . The key word has already changed."
"Oh, really? Well, told me the key word was Pallas. Maybe it changed in between the time she told me and now.," Annabeth said. That technically wasn't a lie. Athena had told Annabeth that, and the key word had changed during the time Annabeth was at the apartment.
"I don't think so, . I think it's time you purchase a ticket for one of the observation decks, or exit the building," The man said calmly.
"Please? Just -talk to her. She'll want to see me," Annabeth asked.
He looked doubtful, but did as she asked.
" ? There's a Chase asking for permission to come to your floor... Yes, tall, blonde… She says you've talked to her, asked her to come… Yep, she used yesterday's key word… Well, she's said you'd want to see her...Alright, she'll be coming up in just a moment."
He handed her a pass identical to the one she'd received yesterday, and instructed her to head on up.
Annabeth stepped into the elevator, and then leaned back against the wall as it zoomed upward. As the stereotypical elevator music played, Annabeth prepared herself to confront Athena.

A/N: Honestly, if this chapter -or maybe just Percy's POV- didn't look too good, it's probably because I had some major writer's block writing this chapter. Oh, well. At least it's out now, and at least halfway decent. Please read, follow if you want to get notified when I update, and review to tell me what you think! It really makes my day :)
Reviews:
Just The Soulmates: Thanks for reviewing, and, yeah, I kind of realized that so in the next chap Athena's going to be a little less heartless. I think both of their reactions were due to sort of the shock of it all. I mean, Athena acted like that for a reason, as it will be explained in chapter 20, and Annabeth hasn't been through as much, so this seems like a much bigger deal to her. She's also (rightly) mad at Athena, so when Annabeth said that Athena, as far as she was concerned, wasn't her mother, was a sort of instinctive reaction to get away from this situation that she had no idea what to do with, because facts and logic didn't really give a clear instruction then.
QueenAnnabeth18: First of all, thank you! Second of all, I love your username. Annabeth is an absolute queen.

Perfectly Happy by Silver Renaissance
This is a Harry Potter fic (this is set after book 7, so don't continue reading this if you haven't read it) about Hermione's parents after Hermione took their memories of her. It's really well written and super interesting.
Summary:
Drs. Wendell and Monica Wilkins, of number eight, Margaret Street, were glad to say that they were perfectly happy, thank you very much.
