Ch 16

"Aaaaaanddddd there!" Tim said backing up. He rigged the apartment door with some sort of lock that looked way to dangerous to be on the barely two inch thick door. "Let's see if any of those wannabe bozos ever try to come back in here"

Letta sighed, "Isn't that, you know? Overkill? You do realize that if we cause another city wide black out we're gonna get kicked out. And this time they're threatening to kick us from the country". She looked at him from the couch, "Leave the door alone for now, we have to go over to your evil twin's for dinner in twenty"

He looked back, "Oh yeah, I so forgot about that- we should get going soon. Oh and you are the daughter of two international villains, one of them successfully international. What do you need to worry about being kicked out of the country for?" Tim questioned, "I mean you could so do a hostile takeover and not a whole lot of people could stop you, you know"

She rolled her eyes with a soft chuckle, "True my boyfriend related or an international hero, but I want to save the hostile takeover after I have a degree to fall back on in case things don't go as planned. I am my mother's child after all"

Tim put away his tool box and grabbed a clean shirt to change into. He headed to their room to change. "So what's on the menu at Jim's?" he called, "And what would be the topic of world destructive fun that we'll be planning"

Letta was putting on a simple pair of flats deep in thought, "Uh, I think Carmen's making an Italian dish... maybe Rossetti, and tonight's little pow wow is over the pet elephant incident, the possibility of shrinking them down to a size that is allowable for their apartments, um... the vaycay we're planning since all the craziness happened, then a small break and new business?"

He walked out with the keys in his hand, "Kay so one more question; car or hover car?"

They looked at each other for a few seconds before replying in unison, "Hover car". They headed to the door, of which Tim had to deactivate and headed up to their building's roof.

"Rufus, bud, ya miss me?" Ron asked the mole rat. Rufus was lounging in a small chair on the table in front of the TV with a zombified look on his face. "Buddy? Helloooooo? Ronsters back?... booyah?"

Rufus shushed him. "Tv" he squeaked grabbing the remote and flipping the channels briefly. Ron sighed and sat on the sofa behind the table. He frowned at his little friend snubbing him off so coldly. Kim came into the room with two plates; one for her and another for him.

"Ron?" Kim called putting the plate down in front of him, "Don't be so hard on Rufus, he was moping around for days when you left on your epic solo mission with Drakken and Shego. He worried that you'd get fried or worse"

He looked over at Kim then Rufus, "Yeah, I can't blame the little guy. I'd be worried to... Hell I was worried about me!"

Kim chuckled and snuggled close to him, "Well, we're both glad to have you back Ron. Wasn't the same without your enthusiasm"

The screen on the TV buzzed and flipped to Wade being on the screen, "Hey Ron" he greeted, "How was the rescue mission?"

Ron sat up, "Like most of the others we've ever been on; there was a trap, major danger, baddie caught, and every one involved made it back home in one piece. How was everything over in this neck of the woods?"

"Well you missed a exam in history which you can't make up" Wade informed him, " Bueno Nacho had a free Naco day at all of their locations, Bonnie and Senor Senior Junior are engaged- that was a pretty big thing in Middleton that week, and Tim and Carmen made the news with their pet elephants"

"Whoa,whoa, whoa! Hold on, Bueno Nacho had a free Naco day and I missed it!?" he gaped

" That is what you're amazed at?" Wade questioned

"It's Ron, Wade" Kim reminded, "Nacos are always big news"

He chuckled "Right, that is the Ron we know"

…...

"Letta, Tim! Hey you guys, you made it! Don't stand out there, come in and make sure to close the door behind you so the neighbors don't see" Carmen smiled rushing them in. She looked around to make sure no one was watching and closed the door.

"Hey to you too, Carmen" Letta spoke. She looked at the two large elephants that somehow were wedged in the small apartment. "I take it you'd like me to help with the shrink ray first?" she guessed.

"I almost got it, but it only keeps them small for a few minutes" Jim reported, "It would help to have a bit of twin and evil help on this"

Tim looked over the device and grabbed a screwdriver, "You're with a villain too, why not ask her?" he queried his twin.

"I'm more of a planner, not an inventor" Carmen admitted, "I can help you plan the annihilation of an army for the next twelve years with contingency and back up plans, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to fix a toaster let alone a shrink ray"

"Got it, shrink the pachyderms as quick and as permanently as possible" Letta said with a nod. She helped the twins with the shrink ray while Carmen worked on dinner.

"Yes. Yes, that's great, Drew I owe you one for that. Okay see you around the holidays buddy". Mr. Possible hung up the phone, "Looks like Drew and Ron were able to save the kids without a hitch"

"Oh thank goodness" Mrs. Possible sighed, "I was so worried what was going to happen to our little boy. To be involved in an high threat kidnapping like that, I'm reconsidering letting Timmy see that girl anymore. Honestly I would of thought Kimmy would of gotten into that kind of trouble with all of her superhero antics"

"Letta is a pretty upstanding young lady despite the super villainy lineage she's a part of. Plus Jim is also with the daughter of a villain as well, they're very law abiding young ladies despite everything" He pointed out, "Not a lot of people can keep up with our children, Ann. It is refreshing to see someone keep pace with them, but I have to worry about the scientific community when those four put their heads together"

"They'll do wonderful things" she said smiling, "Or we may need alibis in case of a fallout. Either way we're having everyone over for thanksgiving, just being thankful that they all are safe and sound for the time being"

"That's the old Possible thinking, honey. Always on the bright side! We Possibles are a hardy and headstrong bunch" he laughed

Mrs. Possible nodded and placed her hands folded in front of her with a soft smile, "It is a pretty strong quality of ours."

She walked over to her husband giving him a light hug. Her hangs draped around his waist, "Do you think we should invite Letta and Carmen's parents to join us this thanksgiving?" she added

"I'm not sure about that, sweetheart. There's some bad blood between Drew and this Dementor character" he began, "Then what we heard about Shego's parents from the boys... we may end up with a super villain fight before someone says 'pass the cranberry sauce'"

Drakken sat in front of his chair looking over a few schematics with Sasha sitting in his lap. The small girl was gripping the life out of a stuffed animal, "Ah this gets tiresome" the blue villain groaned leaning back, " The season's winding down and seems the pickings grow slim as well. Hn, maybe I could go for an oldie but goodie and try the time monkey again"

"Goodie goodie yuck" Sasha babbled making a face

He chuckled, "That is true, my dear. Yuck to all the goodie goodies out there. We'll find our own plots to plunder, maybe we'll try to pick out a little father-daughter thievery day. Just you and me, Sasha. Oh it will be so much fun! We will wreak terror on sum unsuspecting soul and pilfer whatever we please. Oh, and it will go in your baby book as your first grand theft!"

Sasha grinned, "Stealing!"

"Yes! Stealing" he replied before laughing manically, dramatically contrasting the small child's light, bubbly giggles.

Shego sat with Draco holding a pop up book. The boy was tearing off the figures and gumming on them, not paying attention to the content of the story at all.

"Whoa there ol' predictable," she said moving the book out of the way, "I actually paid for this so let's be careful with it okay?"

"Kay" he grinned. Shego bit her lip trying not to laugh; one of the pop up figures in his mouth had a horrified expression as it got soaked in evil toddler drool. The boy leaned on Shego looking up at her waiting.

She put the book back near where he could see and continued the story, ".. Then the sneaky racoon stole the sleepy bear's honey pots, each full of sweet golden honey. Good for him I say. If the bear wasn't sleeping on the job he'd of had a nice racoon dinner to go with that honey. Now what do we say when people get what's coming to them?"

"Too bad? Swhouda couda wouda?" the boy guessed

"That's right. Its not our problem so what do we care?" she grinned, "You will be an amazing little thief one day, better start you not caring"

…...

Letta, Jim, Tim, and Carmen all sat down eating dinner. Two lap dog sized elephants exploring the apartment, making small trumpeting noises and running around. The looked over grinning a little at the small things playing around.

"This is so odd and cute it should be illegal" Carmen mentioned

"It probably is, but really like any of us are going to say anything about this" Letta replied

"Oh, forgot to tell you guys, our parents are doing a pretty big thanksgiving dinner, think you'd like to join?" Jim asked

Carmen made a slight shrug, "I dunno. Dad likes me to visit on the holidays, and mom is... not that enthusiastic about my visits over so... it will be a stressful thing if I can get out of it"

"And I might be on tweevil duty on those days. They love trying to make food explode lately" Letta said

"Oh" they sighed.

"Well maybe next time then" Jim said, "At least we'll get to see Kim and Ron and maybe rig something to blow up"

"You guys are out of the house for a year and already thinking of what to blow up when you get back home" Carmen laughed shaking her head.

"Can't blame us" Tim quipped

"When we can create, we're gonna destroy too" Jim added

"Tell me, Car-Car. How in the world did we end up with these two being our good counterparts?" Letta asked
