Jinbei pulled the ship out of another storm just outside of another island, it was one that was surrounded in storms, and the island itself was rumored to suffer tremendous tremors, but there were still people living there as Nami soon saw when they neared the island. She glanced back behind her, and frowned. Luffy was just as energetic as ever, and just as ignorant of their passionate kiss. Granted, she did drown him in alcohol, so it wasn't a surprise that he forgot, not to mention he was Luffy. She knew she'd tell him about it later, but she had expected him to remind her. Was it really not that big of a deal for him?

"Nami, is that the island?" Luffy asked, surprising her, as she suddenly brought her hand from her lips, of which she hadn't realized was brought there.

"Uh," she looked at the log pose, the one her captain's eyes were staring at, "yes," she sighed, "that's the one."

"It's going crazy!" Luffy laughed snapping his neck back to his body.

Nami watched his body go back to a normal boy's as he leaped up onto the other side to tell Usopp, who was taking care of his pop greens, about the next island. Nami sighed audibly, causing the fishman beside her to glance over at her.

"You okay, Nami?" Jinbei asked.

"What, yeah." Nami responded clutching her arm.

"Are you concerned?" he asked again, knowing that she didn't feel right.

"Of course! I should be," Nami responded, slightly offended, "we are entering an extremy dangerous island!"

"No, about Luffy."

Nami's eyes widened, did he know? Of course he did, he's Jinbei. She sighed, "I guess it's not like it's a secret, I mean Robin knows about almost everything I do..." she sighed and finished her thought in her head, 'to him.'

"I see." he nodded, "but have you talked to him about it?"

"I said I'd tell him later." Nami replied.

"Has he asked you about it?"

"No." she sighed, "I thought he would by now, but he's just as cheerful as ever, it's annoying."

"So..." Jinbei stated, waiting for Nami to catch on. Upon seeing her as oblivious to his hints as Luffy was he finished, "this is Luffy we're talking about."

"And?" Nami asked, as if that proved why he wasn't talking to her about it, it was Luffy.

"Has he ever pried you of information before?" Jinbei asked her.

Nami was about to respond with, "of course he has," before she had to think twice, in truth, he hasn't. When Arlong had control of her village, and island at that, he hadn't asked her about anything. He didn't even force her to ask him for help, he just waited until she told him. With any of them really, when Sanji had knocked him out cold, he didn't ask why, he just waited, he waited for Sanji to come and tell him himself, even if Pudding had ended up telling them. He never even pried into any of their pasts. He didn't even tell them about his, for that matter. "No." she said aloud, answering Jinbei's question. Of course he wouldn't ask her about it. To him, it was hers to tell, and if she said she'd tell him later, she'd tell him later, when she's ready.

She turned to look behind her at the idiotic captain she had slammed into the ground too many times to count, even if almost all of them were because he was being an idiot, she still felt heated on remembering the times she forced him to kiss her against his will. He wouldn't ask her about it, he wouldn't ask why if she didn't want to tell him. He understood the importance of it that much, even if he was an idiot about most things.

The boy wasn't an idiot, even if he acted like one on a daily basis, when it came to defending his nakama, his friends, his crew, heck, even his family, he would go to the verge of death for them. She wouldn't know it, but he even admitted that he would die in order to save his brother, Ace, even if the latter ended up dying to save him in the end. She turned to head down the stairs.

"Where are you going, Nami?" Jinbei asked, knowing exactly what she was doing.

"Luffy." Nami responded as if that was all responses that were needed in her life.

Jinbei nodded as if he understood, and steered the ship into a small cove that wasn't very discoverable from the eyes of the village.

As the ship docked, she ran to grab her captain's arm before he jumped off the ship in hopes of adventure. However, she fail d to remember he was a rubber man, so when she grabbed his arm he just stretched it holding onto his hat with his other as he jumped off, an idiot for not being able to realize his stretched out limb.

Nami noticed how he just ignored her, and dug her fingernails into his wrist. On the sudden pain in his wrist, though not much, he pulled his arm back to him in order to get away from it. Nami however was intent on not letting go, and it resulted in her slamming herself head first into the backside of the person she was holding onto. Surprised, Luffy fell forward and landed on his face, "Nami!" he groaned assuming she knocked him over the head for running off.

Nami sat up, on Luffy's back, and just glared at him, "Luffy." she stated in a serious tone.

Luffy twisted himself around to meet eyes with the one holding him down, though he probably could have knocked her off if he wanted to, "Namiiii!" he groaned as if that would make her get off him.

"We need to talk." Nami stated, folding her arms and ignoring the way Luffy literally twisted his torso 180.

"Kay." Luffy responded, and glanced down her torso noticing her still on him. Instead of asking her to get off, he jumped up, twisting his legs around, and caught her before she fell backwards, by the hand, "What about?"

She straightened herself, and slightly blushed before she pulled her hand gently away from Luffy, "About what I had told you I'd tell you later."

"Okay." He answered, "Is it long?"

She sighed, audibly, "Well, you might want to sit down."

"Kay." he responded, taking a seat on the dirt.

"No, not here!" Nami exclaimed, glancing around at the other crew members crowding around them. Robin smirked, and rested her head in her hand, and when she glanced at Jinbei, she couldn't tell what emotion he was portraying, if he was skeptical about what she did, or if he desperately wanted to hear the story from her point of view. She reached down, and grabbed her captain's arm, "Come on," she exclaimed, pulling him away from the rest and into a swarm of trees before them.

Surprised by her sudden action, he hadn't had time to stand up, and stumbled on the ground a few times before getting himself to a standing position to follow her, her holding onto his arm, and walking at such a pace didn't make his job any easier. "Nami, slow down!" he stated as he stumbled. for the fourth time. He was ignored however as she disappeared with him from the crews line of sight in the trees.

Finally getting in a comfortable walking position, Luffy remarked on what she was doing, "We going on an adventure, or something?" he said happily.

She glared at him, "Luffy," she turned around to face him, forgetting she was still holding onto his arm, "I can't just tell you what happened with others around."

"Okay," he glanced around, "but no one's here." he gestured around him, with his hands, his arm pulling from Nami's grip, and she already missing the warmth of his wrist.

"Now!"Nami stated, trying to get back on topic.

"So?" Luffy asked, sitting down on a log, "Is it long?"

"Kind of," Nami blushed, but before Luffy could change his mind about listening to it, she exclaimed, "but it is still important and you can't go to sleep while I tell it."

Luffy got a scared expression in his face and held up his hands in defense, "I won't, don't hit me."

"Good." She brushed her skirt down, and sat on a log opposite him, but on not being able to really see his face she decided to find a clearing first, "Not in the forest." she exclaimed.

"What?" Luffy asked, as he watched her suddenly stand, "if you don't want to tell me right now that's fine, it's a long story anyway." he stood and turned to walk back to the others.

"No!" Nami stated, "Luffy, you better not go back to the others!"

Luffy stopped in his tracks, and bent his neck backwards, so he's looking at Nami upside down, "But you don't even want to tell me, and I'm hungry."

"Luffy, I am going to tell you, because it's something we have to talk about, and you are going to come with me until I find a clearing and I'll tell you there so no talking until we get there, and no talking about being hungry. No complaining, and you will listen to the whole story, even if it takes five hours!"

"Five hours?" Luffy asked, righting himself, and turning to face her, "But I'm hungry!"

"We're in a forest, you'll find food." Nami reasoned, and grabbed his cheek, "Come on."

"Nami, let go!" Luffy exclaimed, walking next to her.

"Are you going to walk away?"

"No, let go."

Nami let go of his cheek, but still thinking he'd try to get out of there, though he's a terrible liar, she grabbed his forearm, "just in case." Luffy hung his head back and grabbed a stick, starting to sing a song.

After a little while, and the song seeming to have no end, Nami glanced over at him as she looked around for a clearing, he was stretched away from her as he had spotted something. His song paused for the moment, he put down his walking stick that he was holding over his shoulder. He was inspecting something, the arm she held limp, while he was trying to grab with one hand what he had seen.

"Luffy?"

"Nami! Look at this rainbow rhino beetle!" he exclaimed, holding the bug up to his navigator, from where he had gotten it.

"Ew, Luffy out it down."

"Eh!" Luffy jumped to his feet, and made his way over to her, "But these are so hard to find!"

"Harder than the One Piece?" She raised an eyebrow.

Luffy cocked a head, and frowned, "Nami, don't ask such difficult questions!"

"It's a bug." Nami gestured to the captured insect in his hand.

"But it's cool!"

"Put it down, it doesn't want to be captured," Nami stated turning away from the gross beetle.

"Good point!" he stated, and put it back down before grabbing his walking stick and resuming his song.

Nami was slightly annoyed by his singing, but he was happy and cheerful, even though she held his right arm prisoner, so she let him continue. By the time they reached the clearing, and the song had been on repeat for at least four times, she finally let her annoyance out, "Okay, Luffy, stop singing!" she yelled beside him, unfortunately that meant practically in his ear.

"Ack!" Luffy exclaimed, grabbing his ears with both hands, "Nami, that hurt!"

"Well then stop singing!"

"You didn't have to yell," Luffy pouted, crossing his arms together.

Nami dragged her captain, as he suddenly didn't want to walk anymore, to the middle of the clearing so that she could clearly see his facial expressions when she told him what happened. It was probably going to be either hilarious to him, or make him really mad at her, and she wanted to know exactly what he felt. She stopped in the middle and let go of Luffy's arm, making him fall into his back, as she sat down.

"Why'd you stop pulling me?" he asked, sitting up and facing her, "it was fun."

She frowned, as she rubbed her temple, "It wasn't for me," she stated before looking into his owlish eyes, "Luffy, I am going to tell you what happened now."

"Okay, but, I'm hungry." He crossed his arms in front of him.

"I'll try to make it quick," she stated as she looked up at the sky, noticing the sun was someway past midday.

"Then we can eat?" Luffy asked, excited.

"Yes, Luffy, then," Nami sighed again, "Now, Luffy pay attention!"

Luffy sat up straight, and his hat fell off his head, "Aye!"

Nami made the most serious face she could, and stared deeply into his eyes, "I'm sorry."

Luffy stared back at her, either waiting for her to continue, or he was confused.

Choosing that he wanted her to continue, she took a deep breath, "What I did to you was unforgivable, but still, I guess I want that forgiveness."

"Okay, I forgive you," Luffy smiled, before giggling.

"I haven't even told you what I did!" Nami exclaimed, "When you woke up, I was wearing your shirt, wasn't I? Did that not raise any questions in your head?"

"How'd you get my shirt?" Luffy questioned, as if answering the question she was asking.

"It was the same shirt I had spilled sake on, remember?"

"Yeah, and?" Luffy answered, obviously confused.

"I..." Nami inhaled, deeply, "I nearly took anyway something precious to me, and probably you, too."

"My hat!" Luffy exclaimed, interrupting her and holding his hat back on his head, "You can't have it!"

"No!" Nami answered, "I don't want it!"

"Oh." Luffy replied, "Okay, then." he smiled again.

"Don't talk until I'm done, Luffy." Nami stated, wanting to pinch his cheeks.

Luffy stayed silent, holding his lips inside of his mouth to keep himself from saying anything, but as the story progressed, they found their way open. Nami had begun by telling him about why they had the party in the first place, and what had driven her to do what she did.

"Honestly, Luffy, I don't know why I did that, I just felt like I needed you to be in the same state of mind as myself, and I suppose that's why I did it." She sighed, and glared at her captain, as he opened his mouth to probably say "did what?", he snapped his mouth shut again, and waited for her to continue. "I called you over, when you were having a great time, and forced you to drink the sake," she looked at her captain to see his response, and he slammed his fist into the palm of his hand as if to say, "I remember this" and she nodded her head slightly, of course he had remembered this part, he wasn't drunk yet. She explained to him that it wasn't until later that he actually was affected by the, almost, half-barrel of alcohol that she had him down.

She brushed her skirt down, and flushed, this was the part she didn't want to tell him. She took in a long breath, and sighed and even longer sigh, preparing herself for his angry words. She glanced at him, and decided that she should probably study his facial expressions throughout the whole story she was scared to tell, "Luffy, this is the part that I needed to tell you," she began, earning a tilt of the head from the person she was studying.

Luffy decided not to talk during it, because he didn't want her to be mad at him, and when she said that, it seemed as if she wanted him to tell her to continue or that he already forgave her, but he was confused. He leaned forward, resting his elbow on his knee that he had brought up. Nami was serious, he could tell, and he shouldn't take it like she was telling a joke, or one of Usopp's stories. He should take what she was telling him as seriously as he took battle.

"You were weak." Nami began, Luffy raised his brows as if saying 'that'd never happen' and Nami continued, "and I took advantage of that. I..." she inhaled, "I pushed you on the ground and kissed your neck and that's why you had that mark there to begin with but I'm not done there because then I proceeded to take off the pants I was wearing while straddling your waist and I didn't even care what your thoughts would be on what I was doing," Nami breathed out in one breath before inhaling again, "so I took you to the library where Robin and Jinbei couldn't see us and I ended up pushing you onto the couch and sitting on you leaving your weakened state immobile before I took of the bikini top and tied it around your face and then I..." she breathed out again. Stopping to think about his facial expressions, even though she was almost confident that he couldn't understand what she said.

Luffy's eyes had gone wide when she started to talk all in one breath, and he tried to understand what she was saying, from what he heard, it was something about pushing him, kisses, and clothing. Something about a library, immobilizing him, and her clothes. What he understood, she was attacking him, and yet, she wanted to taste him. His eyes were still wide, but one brow was bent down in confusion, as his lips were in a slight frown.

Nami was confused by his facial expression, it wasn't something angry, yet it wasn't really happy either. Deciding that she wouldn't know until she finished the story she began to tell how she nearly took away both their virginity, before he fell asleep, but her captain held out his hand to stop her.

"Nami, what is that?" he asked.

She looked behind her, and if what he was talking about was behind her, but on seeing nothing, she looked back at him, "What's what?"

"Birginatey." He stated.

She didn't have to know what he was trying to say to understand what he meant, she was confused, did he know what that was, did he know that's where she was going with the story, "Luffy, how-"

"Sorry!" he held up his hands in defense, "your story was so long, I used observation haki."

"You what?" Nami stated growing a little angry.

"I didn't want to listen to the story anymore, so I used haki to see what you were going to say next!" he kept his hands up in defense.

Nami sighed, it saved her the trouble of actually telling him.

"So what is that?" Luffy asked again.

"Oh, it's just..." she stopped, "Luffy, if you know what I did, can you just tell me your thoughts, and..."

"You were attacking me, but I didn't fight back. So what?" He stated, "obviously I know you have no bad intentions, you're my nakama." he smiled.

Even if he didn't understand what really happened, he was right, she didn't have bad intentions, she just wanted to know if he liked her back. But thinking about it now, why should it matter of what his thoughts are on her. She is his nakama, and she loves him enough to make sure he's happy, so even if he does end up with one of the crazy girls he's helped, or have helped him, she knows she'll still be happy if he's happy, right?

"Nami?"

She looked at him, as he came a little closer to her, "What?" she asked not noticing her voice waver.

"Why are you crying?" he asked, "you're not supposed to cry! I promised not to!" he was practically in her face now, "Hey!" he exclaimed on seeing her staring at him, "smile!" he reached his hands up and started moving the corners of her mouth.

Nami was registering what he said, crying? No, she couldn't be, it wasn't possible. She was just thinking about how she'd be happy if he was happy, but now his face looked concerned, his cheerful smile was gone as he made his way closer to her. "Hey!" he exclaimed, and her eyes shot out of her thoughts as she felt his finger move the corners of her lips, "smile!" he finished.

She giggled, causing her captain's hands to retract back to his sides.

He sighed, relieved.

"What was all that about, Luffy?"

"You were crying, why? Did I do something?"

"No, I was just thinking."

"Oh, okay." his stomach growled, "I'm hungry, let's find the others!" He pulled her to a standing position, and began to dash off into the woods.

"Wait! Luffy!" Nami called running after him, he may not be that smart, and he might not understand what really happened, but he forgave her anyway, and the reason was because she was his friend. That's why she loved him, she concluded, he'll do nearly anything, just to make sure his friends are achieving their dreams, and she supposed, their smiles as well, even if she wanted to think it was special to her.
