Evo: Fine, but I did delete this story and reposted it because there's no way to remove comments that horrible. *throws the button over shoulder* *breaks glass*

Chapter 2 Back again

Ren's PoV

So this is hyper space, a lot more colorful than I thought. Racing pass countless portals on a small platform. It's the size of an advantage front yard. I look behind me to see that Darkrai is still with me. Seems like I'm gonna be seeing him alot. My travel buddy spoke up and told me it's time to get started. First off was to teach me how to summon the orb that's inside me. It was very tricky to do, given how I'm supposed to feel it by concatenating. After I finally managed to summon it, he started explaining what the orb does and how to learn moves. Learning the moves like he mentioned before, I'll need something that the original master of said move they held dear to them. For example, To learn the move Spacial Rend, Palkia's Move, I'll need the item called Lustrous orb. This orb gave Palkia's Dragon and water type moves a huge boost and allowed him to use his signature move at full strength to open and create space. He doesn't know exactly what will happen to me during the process of learning them. Guess Arcues chose to keep that quiet. Another thing he added about it was the energy used for using them, I can only use 3 moves, anymore then that will do some serious damage to my body. Figured because I was never meant to have them in the first place. After the first move, there will be a reset time till I can use the moves again. The time it resets is about 7 hours or so. That's good to know.

Next thing was the 'Soul scarf' that is tied to me. This scarf was made from the tree of life, holds everything I need to evolve and devolve at any time with conditions. Condition one was I needed a huge amount of energy to turn into Lucario and further beyond and two it can only be used to turn the tide of battle. For Human form it's different. I can only access it in one of two ways, each way is different with different benefits. If I were to go human after turning into Lucario or mega, all of the power and strength will be converted into my human form and more so. The idea of being powerful in human form does sound cool, but getting to that point would take one hell of amount of energy and concentration to pull it off. The other way is simpler but I get no power boost nor physical enhancements like I can jump higher or lift heavy objects. To turn into human form this way is to tap the scarf three times. Bit anticlimactic compared to the other way but hey, nothing is perfect and some things are just weird like that.

Lastly was my human technology I brought with me. Like he promised, they can't break. Even by the sledgehammer he randomly had. Not gonna question that. Battery life is infinite as well, so woo. Now that everything is said and down. I asked my floating dark companion for information about what's going on that's so urgent. Looking back at me with arms crossed. "Where do I begin? Well, guess I'll start by telling you how the problem started. My Job was to protect the Dark Crystal."

"Dark Crystal?" I replied back. This doesn't sound good.

"Yes, The Dark Crystal, a crystal made of pure darkness. It collects and stores all of the negative and dark emotions every Pokemon have in their heart in the world. This crystal acts as a catalyst to help maintain balance in the universe. I was appointed guardian of the dark crystal due to it having no effect on my mental state. That was the case, until two years ago." Darkrai says, clutching his claw

"What happened?" I asked the dark type curiously.

"Two years ago, a team of foolish pokemon thought to take the crystal as treasurer. Although I warned them that it's not for them to take, but it didn't stop them from attacking. The darkness sensed their greed in their hearts and went haywire. it started to crack little by little and started leaking out black energy. One of the pokemon fired a focus blast at the crystal, destroying it into several fragments. Once it was broken, the darkness engulfed everything in the room, including me. After that, I don't remember anything. Can't ever remember who were the ones that attacked me. However I did wake up in the middle of the forest and was healed by a young female… mmm nevermind." His tone sounding annoyed but quickly let it go at that last part.

"Nevermind? What's that about,huh?" Talking to myself outloud. This only rises questions about what's going on here. I tried to question him about it, but he brushed it off. Saying it wasn't important that it was just a random explorer that loved helping others in need. The ride started to get bumpier.

"Seems like we're almost there, brace yourself." The dark type said. I look over up ahead to see the portal where we need to go in. Well, Here go nothing.

???(Female)'s PoV

Ugh another restless night. You would think after two years of this I would either get over it or be used to it. Hard to believe it's been two years already. Everytime I think about that day, I just couldn't help myself tear up and cry softly. Getting up and out of my bed, making my way to the bathroom that's next to the door to the living room. My house is like your everyday, singles home. One floor, one bedroom, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and guest bedroom and a basement with a storage room that was supposed to be another bedroom. Getting up to the countertop where I have a bucket of water built in. Splashing myself with some of the water to help me wake up. As I look up at the mirror, just to see the sad lonely Leafeon that I am. Seeing my crystal blue eyes sparkle from the water I just splashed with. That's right, I'm a Leafeon. Age 16, platinum rank explorer and ex member of team spitfire. My partner and co-founder of the team died at the end of our last mission to save time from stopping. So much for a happy ending, huh. Save the world and your best friend dies. I would say boyfriend but… we only confessed our love for each the day he vanished from time. I miss him, not a day goes by with thinking of that fire-type. Just before I got out of the bathroom, someone called out to me and knocking on my bedroom door.

"Hey, Luna. Are you up yet? I got us some coffee and breakfast ready for today's mission to Crystal Cave." A friendly male voice spoken to me on the other side.

"Coming, Snow. I'll be right out." I replied back to my friend.

His name is Snow, an exchange student from overseas. He's a vulpix but not just any old vulpix. Normally a vulpix is red with brown eyes and typing is fire, but Snow is white with blue eyes and his typing is Ice. We are close in age, I'm a year older but only by a month. When he first came here, nobody was kind to him at all for being different, including fire vulpixs. But I stepped in that day with an open heart and we became friends ever since. We even made a new team together called 'Wintergreen'. Although our team is only in silver rank but we managed to rise up from rookie to where we are today. They let me keep my original rank whenever I'm not with Snow, as a thank you gift. The badge that has that rank is the one from my 1st team with 'Him'. I still hold it dear to me, keeping it next to my bed. However, the other badge that used to be my old partner isn't with me. I left it at his grave sight that only I know about. His grave is where I last seen him, on the pathway to Temporal Tower. Every so often on my days off, I go and visit it to bring flowers that I grow to help distract my mind. I know it isn't healthy to keep visiting the grave, but I can't help that he meant everything to me.

After finishing up in the bathroom, I meet up with Snow in the kitchen with my coffee and something to eat. Sitting down and taking a sip, Snow reviews over the mission. Apparently it's a gathering type, these types of missions I love doing because it's so relaxing. No rushing or fighting much. I could fight, I mean I was one of two pokemon that defeated two legendary Pokemon. Snow was curious about my strength level the one day, but when I told him that I was 86, he fainted over shock. My little snow buddy is level 16. Not much of a fighter but he does have a lot of heart to help others in battle. The mission we will be doing is gathering some perfect apples for an old friend and teacher of mine, Guildmaster Wigglytuff. If you wanna talk power, this pokemon has it all. The strength test couldn't even read pass 100. Some say he

might be the reincarnation of Arcues, who's level is beyond 100. Gathering up our things to head out for the day. I went into my room to pack everything I need, Oran berries, revival seeds, escape orb, some apples and most importantly my badge. Looking back to my nightstand, to see my old team badge, my treasure I used to power up the ship and a picture of me and him. Bidding farewell. We decided to stop in town quickly to see what's at the Kecleon brothers' shop. The town we live in is out in the country area. The name of the town was charged from Pokemon Square to Sunset Town. I guess the name was outdated or it didn't really make sense but Sunset is a pretty name. The pelipper post office is at the big cliff past the bank and the sunset there is beautiful. Guess that's how they got that name. We get to the shop and as usual, nothing we need. So we just bought some gummies for the road. Mine was grass and Snow's was clear, our favorite treats to snack on. Now everything is set, we made our way to Apple Forest to do our job for the day.

Ren's PoV

Jumping out of the portal and faceplanting into sand. Talk about a soft landing, bleh. Sand in my mouth. Getting back onto my feet and checking out my surroundings. Obviously I'm at a beach, how could I tell? The sand that is still lingering in my mouth. While I'm looking, I noticed that Darkrai isn't with me. That's odd, did we get separated? I see my bag a few inches away with a note attached to it. Picking up the bag and swinging it over my shoulder and read the note:

. Ren, due to some circumstances I won't be able to go on with you for awhile. I will continue my task of hunting down the dark crystal Thiefs. I'll send some messages to you if I find anything. Good luck on your mission to find out what's going on and recover your lost memories.

Well, shit. I lost a friend today. Naah it's probably nothing. Putting the note in my bag and making my way to who knows where. Walking over to the water, I can see my reflection. Yup, a normal Riolu with a small black open jacket and shorts with green neon strips and a pair of big headphones over my neck. The soul scarf is tied to my right arm and it matches my clothes. Looking around, I see a pathway that leads up to somewhere so I'm gonna start there. Few minutes of walking, I came across a crossroads sign. North is the Wigglytuff guild, that sounds oddly familiar. East is the road to Sunset Town. South is the beach, duh. And West is Treasure Town. Now it's starting to come back to me. Treasure town, the guild, I'm starting to remember most of the locations but nothing more. I took out a book to write all this down, by doing this will hopefully help me memorize everything I remembered. Closing up the book and putting it back, making my way North. Gotta check out the guild, maybe some information I can use there. Holy shit, that's a lot of stairs, I saw one of the steps marked with 10/250. Ok, someone must've been really bored to do this. I feel like I have been claiming for days, this sucks. Don't I have any moves to use? Now that I think about it, what are my moves? Pulling out my phone to check around to see if I can figure out if I can check myself. Turns out my whole phone is different, only 6 apps on here. The available apps are, Call, Search, Maps, music, Status, and Skills. Seems like the others will be available to me someday but till then. Clicking the status all to pull up my information:

Pfffff* The hell!? My strength Level 90!? How is that possible? Maybe it's because I was here already and I have been this strong back then. Makes sense after all I did visit this world to save it by beating two legends. Now that I got myself acquainted with who I am for now, time I take advantage of quick attack. Racing all the way up the rest of the steps. Finally getting to the top and standing before the gate to the underground. Seeing this place up close does bring back a flashback. Thanks to that I remember the layout to the guild. Looking ahead to see the gate security system. I believe I remember what to do. Going over to step on the wood logs that Pokemon stand on so their feet can be checked. Man, this thing is super sturdy. Pretty sure a snorlax can't ever break this. Suddenly, I heard a voice yell out below. "Pokemon Detected, Pokemon Detected!"

Second voice: "Who's footprint, Who's Footprint?!"

First voice: "It's… it's Riolu!"

The second voice yelled ok before everything went silent. Few minutes later, the gate rises up and a purple Pokemon emerges. A Loudred came out, but something about him seems familiar. Was I friends with him?

"Well, Don't see that everyday. A Riolu in these parts is extremely rare." He said in a somewhat grumpy voice.

"Is that so, I never even noticed." I replied back.

Asking him if the Guild master was in so I can ask some questions. The big oof wouldn't let me in unless I'm an Adventurer or explorer. I told him it was important. But it didn't work, pushing me back and closed the gate down. (Well that didn't work. Maybe someone in town could help.) Before I made my way down, out of spite, I broke the sign that was there that was already falling apart and decided to "repurpose it". Laying it flat on the ground right above the stairs.

"….What? Don't act like you never wanted to ride down a flight of stairs before." I say out loud.

Kicking off and speeding down the stairs, hell yeah. About half through thought, something caught my eyes. As I passed a pair of Pokemon of white and green. The green Pokemon who I identified was a Leafeon, it's eyes were crystal blue and so beautiful, yet I felt like I've seen them somewhere, a long time ago. Locking on to each other as I get farther and farther. I then looked to its right to see a white fox, strangely it's a vulpix but different. Turning back to seem I'm close to the bottom, jumping off at the last second to safety. The board smashed into a tree and was completely recked. Well, that was fun. Making my way to town for any info I can find on who I am and what happened two years ago.

Luna's PoV

That was weird. Me and Snow were just talking and climbing these stairs. Next thing we see was a strange Riolu riding down the stairs on something. We locked eyes as it passed us, the fighting type's eyes were green with bits of blue rings. So calming and mysterious, almost like I've seen them before. What was it doing at the guild? Snow shook my shoulder, waking me from my trans. "Oh Sorry, Snow. That was weird, huh."

"Yea, It was. Come on, we have a job to wrap up." He said back to me as he continued on. Getting up to the gate and have our footprints looked at, giving us access to go inside. As the gate opened up, a familiar Loudred came out to greet us. Heading to the bottom floor to deliver the goods, we sparked a conversation with the purple sound pokemon.

"Say, Loudred, Did you guys recruit a Riolu?" I asked him, he huffed and said no.

The one we saw earlier demanded to see the Guild master and told him to scram for the ridiculous request. So, He's a male, I thought that as much. I actually scalded him for his rudeness. Still the same old rude Loudred. Making it to the last floor, I looked around the familiar place. Croagunk Swap Shop is to the right, past his shop is the mass hall. To our left is the dorms and Guildmaster's room. Heading over to the now fairy type's room to deliver the perfect apples. Knocking on the door and announcing our names. The big sturdy doors open up and a colorful bird comes out with open wings, welcoming us home.

:Moments later:

"That was nice enough for him to let us stay at the guild tonight, right Luna?" Snow asked me while we are at Spinda's Café, drinking our gummie juice.

"Yea, it was nice. Not only that, it's my old room I used to stay in with…" I had to stop talking, knowing full well why.

Snow took the hint and became silent. Was awkward for a minute, til Miss Spinda came over with refills. How is this café still running when everything is free?

"You know, I haven't seen you in months, Lady Luna. How you been?" The normal-type asked with swirls in her eyes.

I told her I haven't been the same much and preferred to be alone a lot so going out wasn't my thing anymore at times.

"Awe, Sweetie, I know it's not easy getting over a lover. But look on the bright side, you have such a cute boyfriend right in front of you. Tehe" After she said that, Me and Snow lit up with a bright red blush on our faces.

"H-H-He's not my boyfriend, Spinda!" I yelled out in embarrassment as she just giggled.

Snow buried his face in his paws trying desperately to hide the redness on his pure white fur. Oh a different note, She asked me another question.

"Hey, have you seen the new Pokemon in town? Get this, it's a super rare Riolu. He's wearing some very odd things though but those blue eyes with bits of green are so beautiful." Spinda continued to talk.

That's funny, the Riolu with the same description had green eyes with blue bits. Maybe a brother? She mentioned he's looking around town for some information on what happened two years ago. That's odd, everyone should have known about that incident. Finishing our drinks and headed out.

"Alright, Snow let's go." I say to my partner.

He nodded and followed behind. Coming out of the hole, to see the sun has set, giving the sky a orange color. Seeing this, we went north to the guild for some shut eye. This has been a tiring day.

Ren's PoV

So this treasure town, the feeling of nostalgia flowing through me as bits of it was coming back to me. But why is everything up until now have been nothing but locations I have been remembering. None of the people who I cherish. All I can feel is emptiness and disappointment from being unable to remember. I could just kick myself for how horrible I am. Walking towards the center to see something that wasn't there before. A statue of a pokemon and a engraving on the front.

To our Hero, who sacrificed himself to restore time and balance to the world. Gone but never forgotten.

Axle the Chimchar, age 15, XX day XX month 2002-2017.

Taking a step back to see the pokemon who saved the world, the old me. Although, this isn't a grave but a hero statue to honor him, or me. One of locals came up to me and gave a mini history lesson on it and how the body of him was never brought back. This puzzled me, if I had died, then where would my grave be? Pondering on the thought, I started to get this massive headache. A voice trying to reach me but it's all staticy.

"... Return…. Hidden …Land" It kept getting worse and worse, passerbys looked at me like I'm crazy.

The last thing was said was Brine Cave. Regaining my senses and tried to stand back up. The hell was all that. Maybe it's the side effects of the drugs wearing off finally but dam that hurts. Without me noticing, a brown beaver pokemon walked up to me and asked if I was ok.

"Yea, I'm alright. Thank you.. umm." I reply back to the random pokemon.

Bidoof: "It's Bidoof, by golly"

Me: "Right, thanks. Hey, you wouldn't happen to know where 'Brine Cave' is at, do you?"

Bidoof: "Yup yup, I've been there before."

The little pokemon took out a map and showed me how to get there. He offered me his map but I told him I got one already. Now that I have a lead, time to head out. Heading east past the cross roads to head north west. Alright, time to find out who I was. Hopefully more important memories will come back.

Evo: Chapter two is done. I might just continue this if It gets more loves and favorites. So far I have been getting ideas and memories of playing the game have came back. I even started playing it again and my main character is a Female Vulpix. Well till next time *waves*
