"What do you mean the test subject escaped?" Albedo asked angrily as he entered the room
"It appears it managed to phase through the floors of the cage when we had the power shortage" Psychobos said
"How did that happen?" Albedo asked slamming his fist against a wall
"One of the newer beasts got out and started to absorb the electrical energy of the base" Khyber answered
"And who is the one to be blamed for such a thing happening?" Psychobos asked looking at Khyber
"Do not blame me crab, I am doing what I was tasked with, training your monstrosities to become the perfect weapons" Khyber said defending himself as he pointed his knife at Psychobos
Psychology opened his skull and began to charge electricity
"Both of you need to stop this foolishness and figure out how to find the test subject" Albedo said stopping the two of them before they could fight
"The Necrofriggian test subject has a tracker implanted in the back of its skull, the crab can use that to track it" Khyber said
Psychobos scuttled over to a large monitor and began to activate it, pressing buttons and such till the screen turned on. A large map of the planet Earth showed up on the screen along with a moving red dot.
"It appears the test subject is headed for Bellwood" Psychobos said looking at the red dot on the map
"It's going to him" Albedo said
"Its paternal instincts must have picked up on Tennyson and is making him view him as his parent other than you" Psychobos said
"What do you know maybe it isn't as stupid as you think it is" Khyber said
"Be quiet both of you, regardless of what chemical responses are going on in its brain, years of research and DNA are in its body and we need it back if my plan is to succeed" Albedo said
"Our plan" Psychobos interjected speaking up
"Listen to me crab just because our plans our similar does not mean mine is also yours, you work for me, you do as I say, if you no longer serve your purpose I will send you back to into that barbaric dimension and make sure they eat you for dinner with a side of butter" Albedo said
Psychobos knew Albedo wasn't joking so he backed away and grew quiet
"Good, now huntsman prove your worth and go and retrieve the test subject, if you bring back the two female Necrofriggian as well, there will be a bonus" Albedo told Khyber
"Are you sure you don't want to put me through the evolution process first?" Khyber asked
"Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do until a device capable of using the ultimatrix core is built" Psychobos said
"I don't feel like sending you on another raid to Galvan Prime especially now that Azmuth has most likely moved all omnitrix research to a new secret location" Albedo said
"Besides huntsman, we are trying to slowly evolve and adapt your body before it takes on instant years of evolution, turning you into the most powerful specimen and I use the term loosely" Psychobos said
"I understand and I will not fail you" Khyber said
"I am sure you won't" Albedo said sarcastically as he nodded his head over at Psychobos
"We've prepared new tools for as well as for the hounds to use" Psychobos said
"Good, I've been waiting to use them" Khyber said
Time Skip
Ben's House
It was a new day for Ben and his family, Ben's ladies were still trying to get use to Looma being around but they were making it work. Diana and Helen were still a bit unsure of Looma and were wondering if she was going to hold up her end of the pact. Eunice was worried that she might end up breaking Ben in half if he were to be intimate with her. Mina was indifferent to Looma being there, she was glad to see her lovers "harem" grow and to have a new subject to study. Isis was glad that Looma was around, she knew Ben was bound to get more lovers and plus she knew how laws and traditions worked especially being from a race with similar ones to Looma's.
Ben on the other hand was different, he didn't know how to feel about Looma and didn't like that she was here under the circumstance of her being his servant and future wife. Ben was working on changing that without breaking the pact, inevitably causing the subjugation of his entire planet after fighting Looma in his human form to prevent all that. All in all only two things really mattered to Ben with Looma living with them. One was that Looma got along with the other girls and there wasn't any fighting.
If the girls had told Ben that they didn't trust Looma and that she needed to go, he'd respect that and have Looma go elsewhere. Second was that Eira and Lucia were ok with Looma being there, that was the most important thing to Ben. If his daughters were uncomfortable with Looma or were afraid of her, things were going to happen. His daughters were important to him and Ben would do anything to ensure their wellbeing.
Today was Saturday so the girls weren't at school, Ben and Helen also had the day off from work. Mina was working today as well as Eunice, Diana stayed home today along with Isis. Looma wasn't going anywhere and had no plans on leaving. So Ben was going to have a fun day with all the girls is his life today. Right now Ben was serving up some breakfast for everyone at the table this morning.
"Here are some chicken and waffles for everyone" Ben said as he served up everyone's plate
"Can I have the syrup please" Eira asked
"Here you go little one" Isis said as she stretched her arm over to Eira with the syrup
"Where's the bacon?" Diana asked
"Its over here, don't worry I didn't forget about my lovely carnivore" Ben answered placing plenty pieces of bacon on Diana's plate
"So what is the plan for the day Ben?" Helen asked Ben
"Yeah papa, what are we doing today?" Lucia asked
"Well, not to give it all away I was planning on us going to the park for a bit to have lunch" Ben answered
"What else did you have planned my Ben?" Looma asked
"Yes my mate, there must be more for today?" Diana asked
"Oh trust me there is a lot going to happen today" Ben said with a grin on his face
Time Skip
Swift's Apartment
It was just another day for Swift, she had the day off and was going around cleaning her apartment. She woke up early from having that same dream again. For awhile now Swift had been having dreams of her and Ben, doing certain "things". Swift wanted to tell Ben how she felt about him but she was worried. She wasn't worried much about how the other females in Ben's life. She knew that they liked her and knew the kind of person was, especially Helen and most importantly Mina.
They weren't what made Swift worry about telling Ben how she felt about him, it was Ben himself. Swift was worried that if she were to tell Ben her feelings he would reject them. She knew he had his hands full dealing with a Tetramand warlord princess living with him. Maybe Swift would eventually tell Ben her feelings but for now she was going to stay quiet.
"Alright looks like I'm done here" Swift said to herself as she turned off the vacuum
Swift looked around at her living room seeing that it was completely cleaned
"Now what I am going to do?" Swift asked herself
Just then something crashed through the roof of Swift's apartment and landed in the center of her living room. As pieces of roof and rubble fell from the massive hole in her ceiling, Swift looked around and had no idea what just happened. Before Swift did anything a figure rose up from the rubble on the floor and appeared in cloud of dust.
"Whoever you are, you are in real trouble for messing up my place" Swift said
Swift pressed a button under a table next to her causing a secret drawer to pop out. Swift took out a plumber pistol from the hidden drawer and aimed it at the figure. As the figure stepped into the light, Swift saw a large red and black Necrofriggian. She saw that it was injured and badly wounded as it limped over to her.
"F…F…Father" the Necrofriggian said as it fell and landed at Swift's feet
Swift immediately dropped her weapon and quickly went to see if the Necrofriggian was still alive. Once Swift found a pulse she immediately panicked on what she was going to do next.
"Gotta call Ben, gotta call him, he'll know what to do" Swift said to herself looking down at the unconscious Necrofriggian on the floor
Time Skip
Bellwood Park
Sitting in Bellwood park, Ben was enjoying the sight of his daughters playing with Helen, Diana and Looma. He himself was sitting on a blanket while he and Isis prepared lunch for everyone.
"While they may not be the greatest sandwiches ever but they will be pretty good" Ben said to himself
"My pharaoh, you know as well as I do that the young ones love whatever you make them" Isis said
"You are right about that but still, I do want to make them really good food" Ben replied
Ben and Isis continued to make the sandwiches for everyone, Isis found a strange container inside the basket
"My pharaoh what is this?" Isis asked Ben
"Open it and see" Ben said
Isis slowly opened the container as faint purple light shined on her before she immediately closed the box
"Corodium?" Isis asked
"Yeah, it's corodium" Ben answered with a smile on his face
"Where did you get a piece of it?" Isis asked
"Let's just say that it wasn't easy to find and get it here" Ben answered
Isis went to give Ben a kiss went his omnitrix began to go off, stopping her from doing so. Ben pressed the omnitrix symbol causing a hologram of Swift to appear.
"Hey Emily what's going on?" Ben asked
"Ben, it's really important and I need your help" Swift said with an urgency in her voice
"Woah, what's going on Emily? What's the matter?" Ben asked worried
"This wounded Necrofriggian crashed into my apartment and I don't know what to do" Swift answered
"Okay, did this Necrofriggian tell you anything, did it say something?" Ben asked
"It didn't really tell me anything, it just said the word father before passing out" Swift answered
"Okay, hold still, I'll be over there as quick as I can" Ben said
"Okay, I'll do what I can to keep it alive" Swift said before her hologram disappeared
Ben stood up and got ready to leave to go and help Swift
"What is it my pharaoh?" Isis asked worried about Ben
"If what I'm thinking is true then that Necrofriggian is really going to need my help" Ben answered
"What's going on Ben?" Helen asked as she zoomed over to him and Isis
"Emily needs my help, its important and I've got to go" Ben answered
"Apparently a Necrofriggian is wounded and miss Emily needs help saving it" Isis said
"Are you going to go papa?" Eira asked
"Yeah sweetie, your papa has to go and save the day" Ben answered
"Can we go with you?" Eira asked
"I don't know if you should" Ben said
"Don't worry papa, we can take car of ourselves" both girls said lifting up their wrists, showing Ben both of their omnitrices
Time Skip
Swift's Apartment
Ben immediately arrived over at Swift apartment, Ben knocked on the door and Swift let him in. She was surprised to see that the ladies had come with him along with his daughters. Ben walked in and Swift took him to where the injured Necrofriggian was. As they passed by the hole in the roof, Ben looked up at.
"Woah, what a hole" Ben said
"Yeah, you can imagine my surprise when this guy showed up" Swift said looking at injured Necrofriggian
Seeing the injured Necrofriggian, right away Ben noticed something with the Necrofriggian. He saw that it was a dark red color with black markings, it has bright red eyes and its wings and face almost looked like that of an evolved Necrofriggian.
"What do you think happened to it?" Helen asked
"These wounds look like something big must have gotten ahold of it" Ben said tracing his hand over the three long and deep claw marks in the Necrofriggian's chest
"I did what I could to stop the bleeding but what medical supplies I had couldn't hold up" Swift said
"Don't worry, I know you did what I could, luckily you did stop the bleeding" Ben said holding Swift's hand
"What do we need to do to help it?" Helen asked
"Helen, I need you to head to the plumber's base and grab the heavy duty medical supplies from the clinic, I'll message my grandpa to let him know you'll be taking a few things" Ben answered
"I'll get there as quick as I can" Helen said before she zoomed off
"Let me keep the pressure on its wounds" Isis said
Isis stretched out her fingers and began to wrap up the wounds on the injured Necrofriggian's body. She wrapped up the wounds on its chest, arms, legs and even its head. Once she was finished she broke apart her bandaged fingers and Diana tied the bandages tightly.
"That should do for now" Isis said
"Its going to need some serious medical attention" Diana said
Once that was finished Ben was able to let out a sigh of relief and relax just a little bit. Eira and Lucia walked over to the Necrofriggian who was still passed out.
"Be careful you two, don't wake it" Swift said as the girls began to touch the Necrofriggian
"He, not it" Eira said correcting Swift
"How do you know that young one?" Looma asked
"Can't explain, there's just a connection" Eira answered
"He's dreaming" Lucia said
Ben looked over and saw the Necrofriggian turning and moving while it was unconscious
"N…N…No, no more, no more" the Necrofriggian mumbled in his sleep
The Necrofriggian then began to shake as his body began to convulsed in pain
"He's having a panic attack" Swift said running over to the Necrofriggian
Ben ran over with her and helped Swift stop the Necrofriggian from further hurting himself. Once the Necrofriggian began to calm down and stopped slamming himself all over, Ben and Swift slowly let go of him. It was at that moment that the Necrofriggian shot up and woke up. He looked around the room until he stopped, he was looking at Ben.
"Father, save me" the Necrofriggian said before he collapsed once more onto the floor
Ben was stunned and couldn't believe what he had just heard
"Did the Necrofriggian just call you father?" Swift asked Ben
"I think it did" Ben answered
Time Skip
It took Ben a long minute to process that the Necrofriggian just called him father. Hearing that made Ben actually wonder if this Necrofriggian was one of his other Necrofriggian children he had along with Eira and Lucia. However there were a few things that stuck out to Ben was not only the obvious colorization of the Necrofriggian but also how much older it was compared to Eira and Lucia. Yes Eira and Lucia weren't normal Necrofriggian colors but at least they were somewhat like a Necrofriggian's coloring.
This Necrofriggian was bright red all over with unique black markings, there was also the fact that the ends of its wings had a sort of flame pattering in the wings along with the sides of its face. Those flame patterns reminded Ben a lot of what ultimate Big Chill looked like when he had the ultimatrix.
"Why do you think he looks like that?" Isis asked
"I don't know, maybe it's a DNA thing like them" Ben answered looking over at the girls
"I don't want to say it but he kind of looks like you know who" Helen said
"Don't say it, I already had that idea in the back of my mind when I first saw him" Ben said
"You think he looks like the doppelganger of Ben, Albedo?" Looma asked
"Do you think its possible he went through the same cycle as Ben did?" Diana asked
"Let's hope not, I can't think of that maniac being a parent" Ben said
"Regardless, he needs our help" Helen said
Helen had come back with the medical supplies and it didn't take long for Ben to stitch up the Necrofriggian's wounds. Isis used more of her bandages to wrap up the freshly stitched wounds all over the Necrofriggian's body. Still unsure of the Necrofriggian and its origins, Ben decided to see what the girls thought about him.
"Eira, Lucia, do you two feel any type of connection to this guy here?" Ben asked his daughters
"What are you trying to ask them my Ben?" Looma asked
"Well, I think when they were born each of them had a sort of instinct that connected them and that connection is what helped them find each other in space" Ben answered trying to explaining his thinking to Looma and the others
"It makes sense, Loboan children are connected by the pack we know when one another is in danger and needs help" Diana said
"I want to see if they have that kind of connection to this guy" Ben said
Ben then turned his attention back towards Eira and Lucia
"Alright girls, can you do that for me? Can you see if he's one of your siblings?" Ben asked them
Eira and Lucia nodded their head before walking over to the sleeping Necrofriggian. They looked at him and then touched his chest for a minute before walking back over to Ben.
"Its hard to tell papa" Eira said
"He's like us but not" Lucia said
"So he's not exactly one your siblings?" Helen asked
"Yes and no, he's half papa and half someone else" Eira answered
"Like a clone or…" Lucia began before Eira interrupted her
"A doppelganger" Eira said
That was what Ben didn't want to hear, that meant that this Necrofriggian was a child of Albedo. From seeing what was going on with this Necrofriggian that only meant that Albedo must have done something bad.
"We need to get him out of here and to the plumbers base immediately" Ben said
"Why?" Isis asked
"He's Albedo's and he isn't with Albedo, that means one thing, he's going to want him back" Ben answered
"I'll contact Rook" Helen said
Time Skip
City Streets
Outside of Swift's apartment Ben had began to safely loaded up the Necrofriggian into Rook's prototruck. Rook was on guard just in case Albedo tried to get him back, Helen was also helping with that. Ben didn't want the girls or the ladies hurt so he was also in the middle of having them leave.
"Is he in?" Rook asked
"Yeah, he's in" Ben answered as he closed the back of the prototruck
"We need to get going then" Helen said
"Girls go with Isis and them and stay safe" Ben told Eira and Lucia
"I won't let anything happen to them" Isis said
"I know you won't" Ben said as he kissed Isis
"I don't like this Ben, it's weird he hasn't come yet" Swift said
"Me too Emily, I'm getting that feeling as well" Ben replied
Just then there was a massive explosion in Swift's apartment, everyone looked up to see the top levels of the building destroyed
"That was my place" Swift said in disbelief as she fell to her knees
Ben held the omnitrix up and was about to transform at a moments notice before a figure came walking out of the building
"I believe you have something that belongs to a mutual acquaintance of ours" the figure said
"Khyber" Ben said with venom in his voice
Khyber walked out of the building with his knife in one hand and futuristic looking blaster in the other
"H…Hunter" a voice said
Ben turned around and saw the Necrofriggian limping over to him
"You are coming back with me along with your half sisters" Khyber said looking over at Eira and Lucia
"That's not happening" Ben said stepping forwards
"We'll see about that" Khyber said before he made a whistling sound
"That can't be good" Rook said
"It never is" Ben replied
There was two loud roaring noises before two balls of smoke jumped out from the destroyed building top. Two giant looking mutated and spliced together monsters appeared next to Khyber. The creatures let out loud roars before slamming their fists down onto the ground.
"Called it" Ben said
A/N: And cliffhanger, sorry to do this to you readers but you'll get to see the full fight in the next chapter. You'll also get to see what types of creations Albedo and Khyber cooked up this time for Ben to face. I hope you readers like seeing more of Swift/Emily in this chapter and that you are going to see her in action in the next chapter. Who knows, you may also see Isis and Diana fight but I'm not going to spoil anything. Sorry it took so long for this chapter to come out now instead of Tuesday but work has taken over my schedule. I'm trying to get my two chapters for two stories out when I can so please understand that.
