Once again, I find myself inside the familiar blue room where the same two people waited for me.

"Welcome to the Velvet Room," Igor said.

"As you have reached out to those outside of your main circle, you have successfully unlocked the Magician and the Wheel of Fortune arcana. Right side up, the Magician represents resourcefulness and inspiration. Upside down, it represents manipulation and untapped potential. Right side up, the Wheel of Fortune represents good karma and destiny. Upside down, it represents bad luck and resistance to change."

"Let's see what your future holds for today," Igor said, revealing a set of cards on the table. "My, my, what an interesting journey fate has set you in."

"Listen, my guest," Margret said. "A trial like no other awaits you. In fact, the ordeal is so terrible, that the strength of all of your current arcana may not be enough to overcome what lies ahead of you."

"I look forward to seeing how you will handle the trial that lies ahead of you," Igor said.

"And I shall say a prayer as I wait for your return," Margaret said.

Episode 11

A couple of days have passed since Michael and Mina transferred to our school. Now that Mina was more open about her passion for meditation, she started a yoga and meditation club in our school. Surprisingly, there were plenty of students, male and female, who were interested in her club. A majority of them were athletes and saw the club as an opportunity to do additional stretching before and after training.

Because Michael was more courteous about other people's feelings, his popularity skyrocketed even further. Students from all three years can't keep their eyes off of him as he continued to help out with various small tasks and favors from female students. He seemed to enjoy helping them, if it means getting positive attention from them.

Still, every now and again, Michael and Mina would come to our classroom whenever Mimi and Izzy would visit us upstairs. In addition, once in a blue moon, Yolei would drop by as well, increasing the size of our group even further. In fact, our team was so large that not even Sora, Matt, and my desks together were enough to accommodate the people who were coming. Because it was still the summer season, we decided to have our large group luncheons at the rooftop while access to the roof was available for the students.

However, not everything was smooth sailing. As Mimi was constantly around Mina and Michael to make sure that they were settled in their new environment, many students were jealous of her taking away their precious time away from them. Nasty rumors started to spread about Mimi and her relationship with both Michael and Mina, which reverberated on all three floors. In fact, the more Mimi hung out with the two of them, the harsher the rumors become.

One day, during lunch break, Mimi was planning to visit us in our classroom with Izzy, Mina, and Michael. It should have been the normal routine, but before she could do so, one of the students in our class told her that the cheerleading team wanted her advice on a routine they are planning on performing during one of our team's games. Eager about the opportunity, Mimi followed her out of the classroom. Concerned, Izzy told Mina and Michael to head to our classroom without them as he followed Mimi and the student from behind.

Instead of heading towards the field where most of the student athletic events took place, the student led her to a back alley where several female students were waiting for her. The student who led Mimi to the alleyway quickly ran away, bumping into Izzy in the process. Izzy hid behind the corner as he listened in on the conversation at the alleyway.

"You girls aren't actually a part of the cheerleading club, are you," Mimi said.

"What is your relationship with Michael," one of them asked.

"What are you talking about," Mimi questioned.

"Don't dodge the question and give us a straight answer," another girl replied.

"We're just friends from our time in America," Mimi answered.

"You're lying," a third girl said.

"Listen, we've heard the rumors about you and Michael," the first girl said.

"You actually believe those rumors," Mimi asked. "How gullible."

"Don't try and taunt us," the fourth girl said.

"With how close you are to him, it's hard not to imagine you as more than just friends," the second girl said.

"Then, there's Mina," the third girl said. "She was supposed to be our delicate wallflower, forever preserved. But now, she's started a club and sharing her time with others? That has to be under your influence as well."

"You can't let two individuals live out their lives as they see fit," Mimi asked. "Aren't you girls ashamed of yourselves for acting so selfish?"

One of the girls threw water from a water bottle at Mimi's face.

"Don't test us," the first girl said.

"You're the one who's acting selfish, taking their time away from us," the second girl said.

"After all, all of this is your fault, so own up to your mistakes," the fourth girl said.

"Don't think for a second that we don't see your malicious ploy," the third girl said.

"Excuse me, professor, this way," Izzy shouted off the distance. "I need to speak to you about something."

"Tsk, someone's spotted us," the first girl said.

"That girl we asked to do this didn't do her job properly," the second girl said.

"We'll have to punish her later," the third girl said.

"Come on, let's get out of here," the fourth girl said.

As the four girls ran away, Izzy took the opportunity to run towards Mimi and cover her face with a towel.

"Mimi, are you okay," Izzy asked.

"Yeah, I'm alright," Mimi replied, wiping her face. "That was you that yelled out from behind me, right? Thank you, Izzy. I appreciate it."

"Don't mention it. Why didn't you speak up for yourself? You didn't have to take their abuse like that."

"Do you remember the cultural festival last year?"

"You mean your café? It was a total success. You and Meiko stole the show."

"Yeah, but those four girls were the same ones who were against my original idea of a cheer girl café, so we did a normal one instead."

"So, that's what this was all about."

"Girls really like to hold grudges, huh? I guess… I can't say I'm any better."

"Mimi…"

"Is it really such a bother to others to be who I am? Is it that hurtful for me to be a bit selfish for myself? Why can't everyone just leave me alone and let me live the life I want?"

"…"

"I'm sorry, Izzy. I'm not acting like myself. I'm going to go to the nurse's office to relax a bit. I don't know if I'm going to be in class later this afternoon. I'll see you later."

"Mimi, wait!"

Mimi quickly ran away before Izzy could say anything. Izzy took matters into his own hands and headed up to our classroom.

"Hey, Izzy, what's up," I asked.

"You look a little tense," Sora said. "Is everything okay?"

"You're a bit late if you've planned to eat lunch with us now," Matt said. "We already ate with Michael and Mina."

"Actually, I wanted to ask Tai something," Izzy replied.

"You're asking Tai for help," Sora questioned.

"What, did pigs started flying," Matt asked.

"Am I that incompetent to you guys," I asked them.

"Tai, can we meet after school," Izzy asked.

"Sure, I can meet with you after practice," I replied.

"That'll be great," Izzy replied. "I'll see you then."

"Don't give him any strange answers," Sora said to me.

"Who knows what poor advice you will give," Matt replied.

"Way to get me down where it hurts," I said to them.

As promised, after our mock game and several practice shots, I headed to the school gate where Izzy was waiting for me.

"Hey, Izzy, did I make you wait long," I asked.

"No, I just got here myself," Izzy replied.

"That's good. So, what do you want to talk about?"

"Firstly, can we walk alongside the riverbank while we talk?"

"Sure, I don't see why not."

The two of us headed to the river. For the first few minutes, no one said anything as we slowly walked alongside the bank with the setting sun.

"Tai…," Izzy started.

"I'm all ears," I replied.

"Have you heard about those rumors lately?"

"The one about Mimi causing havoc and doing whatever she wants? It's all a bunch of nonsense. I'd ignore it if I were you. Besides, Mimi's a strong girl, so I doubt it'll bother her."

"That's the thing."

"What do you mean?"

"I saw a couple of girls berating Mimi because of the rumors. One of them even threw water at her face."

"You told the teachers about it?"

"I haven't yet."

"Did you at least get a look at who those girls are?"

"I tried, but they all ran away. When I went to comfort Mimi, I didn't know what to say, and she ran away. It almost looked like she was about to cry."

"You did what you could, which is more than enough."

"Yeah, but I wish I could do more, you know? I wish there was something I can do to help her."

"Look at you, acting like a guardian angel and thinking considerately of her."

"Tai…"

"Sorry, I'm just trying to brighten the mood. I think, if you really want to help her, actually stand up for her. If something is going to happen to her, don't wait until the very last moment. Take her side before things turn south. I'm not with her as often as you are, so it's your turn to play an active role instead of a supporting one."

"I'll try."

"That's the passiveness I was talking about. It's not try; it's will."

"Okay, I will."

"That's the spirit. I'll talk to Sora and Matt about this as well, and we'll monitor the situation from our end and see what we can do."

"Thanks, Tai. I appreciate it."

"Hey, we're a team. We're supposed to look out for each other, right?"

The next day, during lunch period, Mimi was about to finish her lunch inside the classroom when another girl walked up to her.

"Excuse me, Mimi, but the teacher's want to speak to you at the teacher's office," the student said.

"I'll go with her," Michael said. "I want to listen to what the teacher has to say."

"Me too," Mina said. "Mimi has done so much for me, so I want to support her as much as I can."

"This doesn't concern either of you," one of the girls from yesterday said. "Mimi has to go through this alone."

"If it's about those false rumors, then it does concern me," Michael replied. "I want to know who has been spreading those nasty lies all over this school and get to the bottom of this."

"Can none of you feel the negative energy that's been in the air these past few days," Mina asked.

"Is this how Japan treats bullying in school," Michael asked. "I'm ashamed of all of you."

"Surely, we can talk about this like civilized people," Mina stated.

"Michael, Mina, it's okay," Mimi said. "I'll go to the teacher's office."

"But Mimi," Michael said.

"I said it's okay," Mimi replied. "Will you lead me there?"

The student nodded and escorted her out of the classroom.

"Michael, Mina, go after Mimi," Izzy said to them.

"You don't have to tell me that," Michael said, heading out.

"What will you do," Mina asked Izzy.

"I have some stern words to say here," Izzy replied. "I'll catch up with you later."

"Okay, Izzy, take care," Mina said, leaving the room.

A tense silence filled the classroom.

"Are you satisfied," I asked the girl from yesterday. "This was the result you wanted, right?"

The girl turned away from Izzy as she pouted. Izzy looked outside as rain started to come down.

"It's raining," I said, looking out the window.

"The weatherman did say it was going to rain this afternoon and later tonight," Sora explained.

"Do you think the Midnight Channel might appear," Matt asked.

"It's possible," I said. "Let's tune in later tonight to see if anything might show up."

"Got it," Sora replied.

Later that night, Kari and I were sitting on the couch, waiting for midnight to strike. Once it did, the TV turned on, revealing the same yellow screen. Several Digimon were hanging out in the forest when distortions appeared from the sky. As Shadows emerged from the distortions and invaded the Digital World, some of the Digimon tried to fend them off as the others escaped. One Digimon was using its ivy-like hands to swing from branch to branch. Whenever it saw other Digimon falling behind, it would use its hands to assist them in their escape. The program closed as it was about to rescue the last Digimon running away from the Shadows.

"So, what did you see this time, Tai," Kari asked. "Tai?"

"I can't tell whether or not this was the best or worst time to show that footage," I mumbled to myself.

"Hello, Tai, is everything okay," Kari asked again. "You're looking pale."

"Sorry, Kari, I was lost in thought," I said. "I'll tell you about it tomorrow, okay?"

"If you say so," Kari replied.

The next morning, I headed over to my classroom where Sora and Matt were waiting for me.

"Good morning, everyone," I said.

"Good morning, Tai," Sora replied.

"Did you guys see the Midnight Channel," Matt asked.

"I did," Sora answered. "Didn't the Digimon on the screen look a lot like…."

Suddenly, Mimi came running through our classroom with Izzy following from behind.

"Hey, guys, did you see what was on TV last night," Mimi asked, in a hurry. "Wasn't that Palmon?"

"You were able to see it clearly, Mimi," Sora asked.

"I did," Mimi replied. " I saw her helping out those poor Digimon escape from those Shadow things."

"If Mimi can see it, then it has to be her," Matt said.

"We've got to save her," Mimi stated.

"Mimi, calm down," Izzy said.

"How can I be calm when Palmon is in danger, or worse," Mimi shouted.

"Mimi, please," I said.

Silence filled the room.

"I'm sorry, Izzy; I shouldn't have yelled at you like that," Mimi said.

"It's fine," Izzy replied. "I understand your concern. Remember, we lost access to the Digital World after what happened last year. Now, whenever we jump into a TV, we enter an entirely new world. Although we may not be able to assist the Digimon in the Digital World, we can still help them whenever they appear either in the Real World or in the TV World."

"Have faith in Palmon," Sora said. "I'm sure she's doing her best to defend herself against them."

"Okay, I'll try," Mimi replied.

"I was wondering where everyone went," Michael said, walking into our classroom with Mina.

"Is everything alright," Mina said. "The energy in the room feels tense."

"It's okay," I replied. "Everything is good now."

"By the way, did you guys see what happened last night," Michael asked.

"Wait, Michael, were you able to see the Midnight Channel," Matt questioned, surprised.

"Matt," Sora said, nudging him.

"What are you talking about," Michael asked. "I'm referring to what happened in the Shinagawa area."

"I heard about that, too," Mina said. "They said it was another riot. I didn't expect Tokyo to be so dangerous at night."

"So, what's this 'Midnight Channel' you're referring to," Michael asked.

"There's a show that appears every midnight during the rain if your television is off," Izzy explained. "We call it the Midnight Channel."

"Oh, you mean that odd yellow screen that appeared last night," Mina said. "I saw it."

"I saw it, too, but I couldn't tell what was going on," Michael added. "It was pretty blurry."

"We believe what is shown there might be related to the Digital World," I explained.

"The Digital World," Mina and Michael said, surprised.

"Did you guys see Meramon," Mina asked.

"What about Betamon," Michael questioned.

"Are those your companion Digimon," Matt asked.

"We understand your concerns, but we haven't seen either of them yet," Sora said.

"But, don't worry, Micheal, Mina, I'm sure they're both okay," Mimi said. "We just have to believe that they're alright."

"Thanks, Mimi," Michael said. "By the way, I was so pissed off yesterday. That girl from before didn't even send you to the teacher's office. She just walked you around the school and then apologized from out of nowhere. What's up with that?"

"I'm sure she regrets taking part in the bullying that's been happening these past few days," Mina said. "We must learn to forgive and forget and move on with our lives."

"Even so, it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth," Michael replied.

"At least, that's one person who has given up on believing in those rumors," Sora said. "I'm sure the rest of your classmates will follow suit eventually."

"I hope so, but right now, my main concern is Palmon," Mimi said.

Suddenly, the bell rang.

"We should probably start heading back to class," Izzy said,

"Alright, we'll see you guys later," Matt said.

"Take care, everyone," Mina said.

Mimi, Izzy, Michael, and Mina left the classroom.

"Sora, the weatherman said it was going to rain again tonight, right," I questioned.

"That's correct," Sora replied.

"Can you, Yolei, and Mina hang out with Mimi tonight and set up a sleepover at one of your homes," I asked. "I want someone to be with Mimi when the Midnight Channel appears again."

"I can ask them if they want to spend the night at my house," Sora said. "I'm sure my family won't mind."

"Thanks for that," I replied.

"You think Mimi's going to jump in when she has the chance," Matt asked.

"I want to prevent anything too dangerous from happening," I replied. "We don't know what's going to appear in the Midnight Channel once Palmon gets inside somehow, so we have to prepare for the worst."

"Leave it to me," Sora said. "With the three of us there, I'm sure we can protect Mimi from whatever happens."

"Thank you," I replied.

Later that night, Kari and I sat on the couch, waiting for the Midnight Channel to appear again. Once the clock reached midnight, the television turned on. This time, the image was crystal clear. It showed an image of a toy store. Inside was a variety of toys such as dolls, blocks, and trucks. At one point, there was a close up on one of the dolls, which was easily ripped apart by a girl wearing a frilly white and turquoise Victorian dress with a turquoise bonnet.

"Hello, and welcome to Mimi's Toyland," the girl said, smiling from ear to ear. "I'm your host, Mimi Tachikawa. Here, anyone can be anything that they want to be. It's a wonderful, magical place all in my image with no impurities. It's a place with no pain, no sorrow, no regrets, only pleasure."

Mimi eyed a toy car with a stain on it. She walked over to it and immediately crushed it with the heel of her shoe.

"All of you are welcomed to join me in this wonderful location. Let me purify your soul so you can be one of us, someone that you always want to be and need to be: pure perfection. Let's see if there will be any new friends who will come to this magical world with me. Stay tuned."

The television turned off soon after Mimi waved goodbye to the camera. I quickly called Sora as soon as the program was over.

"Sora, did you see that," I asked.

"Yeah, we all did," Sora replied. "Don't worry; Mimi is still with us. She is a bit shaken by what she saw, but I think she will be fine come tomorrow. She's a strong girl, after all. We'll be with her and walk with her tomorrow morning back to school. We can discuss what we want to do afterwards."

"Great, thanks for that," I replied.

The next day, after school, Matt, Sora, Mimi, Izzy, TK, Kari, and I met up at Izzy's office to discuss our next plan of action.

"Did everyone see the Midnight Channel yesterday," I asked.

"Yeah, we did," Matt replied.

"So, you guys saw Mimi on the TV last night," Kari asked.

"That's right," Sora replied.

"So, does that mean Palmon is in the TV World," TK questioned.

"There's a good possibility that she's there," Izzy replied.

"Don't worry, Mimi, we'll save her," Sora said.

"Yes, I know we will," Mimi said.

"Actually, I have a proposition," Izzy said.

"What is it," Matt asked.

"Is it okay if you and Sora stay here with TK and Kari while Tai and I take Mimi with us to the TV World," Izzy asked.

"What for," Sora questioned.

"I know it's probably best if we all go in, but I'm afraid something might happen in the Real World while we are inside," Izzy explained. "Therefore, I think it would be best if we split our power to two teams: one to venture the TV World and the other to protect the city in case something happens."

"But, remember the last time we went to the TV world," Matt said. "It took all four of us to take that Digimon down. What if someone as strong as that awaits us?"

"I'm going to agree with Izzy on this one," I said. "I want to minimize casualties both in the Real World and in the TV World. If we can stop the Shadows and Digimon from fighting each other and causing havoc in the city, we may find some clues as to what is causing them to fight and who is bringing them over to the Real World."

"Will you two be okay on your own," Sora said.

"Hey, we were the first two who entered the TV World," I said. "I'm sure we'll be fine."

"Are you ready, Mimi," Izzy asked.

"Yeah, I want to save Palmon," Mimi replied.

"Remember, that thing is your Shadow, a part of yourself you want to deny," Matt explained.

"All you have to do is accept that it is a part of you, and Palmon will be saved," Sora added.

"I understand," Mimi replied.

"Alright, we have our positions. Let's get this mission underway," I said.

"We'll be back as soon as you know it," Izzy said.

Izzy, Mimi, and I entered the TV World, returning to the same ominous TV studio. For some reason, we heard repeated squeaking sounds coming from the corner of the studio. The three of us slowly head towards the corner, with Izzy and me protecting Mimi along the way. Once we got a clearer picture of what was making that sound, we were taken aback.

"Teddie," Izzy asked. "Is that you?"

"Oh, you guys are back," Teddie said, getting up. "It's been a while. How've you been?"

"You're looking very slim," I said.

"What happened to your body," Izzy asked.

"It was incredible," Teddie explained. "We were trying to save this cute girl, when all of a sudden, I powered up like crazy and saved the girl all by myself. But, it came at the cost of my beartiful fur. But, not to worry. I'm slowly bulking up and training to become a brand new Teddie."

"Good for you," I replied.

"So, this is the famous Teddie you guys mentioned," Mimi said. "He looks different than what I imagined."

"Wow, who's this cutie," Teddie said.

"Right, you guys haven't met yet," Izzy said. "Teddie, this is Mimi, and she's looking for her Digimon partner, who we believe has entered this world. Do you think you can find out where her Digimon is?"

"Of course, I'll do anything to help someone as cute as her," Teddie replied.

"Thank you, Teddie, you're just as sweet as you are helpful," Mimi said, patting his head.

"If you praise me more, I'll work even harder," Teddie said, happily.

"Teddie," I said.

"Right, right, the Digimon thing," Teddie said. "Okay, nose, don't fail me now!"

Teddie sniffed vigorously around the area to find a different scent.

"Do you think he can still use his sensor in that condition," Izzy asked me.

"I stopped questioning how he does anything long ago," I replied.

"I picked something up," Teddie said. "At least, I think I did. I bet I'm bear on! Okay, follow the bear!"

Teddie quickly rushed away from the studio to a new location.

"Hey, Teddie, wait for us," I said, running after him.

"For someone who's oddly shaped, he sure runs fast," Izzy replied.

The three of us chase after Teddie, who continued to run with haste. Eventually, he stopped at what looked like a large department store. Despite featuring every color in the book, the way it was mixed together made the store look loud and ominous. Even the way the store logo was fixated added to the spooky atmosphere. The word's "Mimi's Toyland" was featured in large blocks of letters in front of the store, but each letter was slightly distorted, were in a variety of angles, and were filled with a wide mix of colors.

"This must be the location where the Midnight Channel took place," Izzy said.

"It definitely checks out all the boxes of a shady-looking area," I replied. "Teddie, are you sure the Digimon here?"

"There's no doubt about it," Teddie said. "My snout is perfectly locked on its scent."

"Well, I guess that's our cue," I said. "You ready, Izzy?"

"I'm one step ahead of you," Izzy replied.

"Persona," Izzy and I shouted.

We shattered the cards that appeared before us, granting us our new attire and releasing Agumon and Tentomon from the cards.

"Hey, Tai, it's good to see you again," Agumon said.

"I see that some of the usual folk aren't here, but a fresh face has arrived," Tentomon said.

"Agumon, Tentomon, is that you," Mimi asked. "I can't see well through all this fog."

"How beary rude of me not to give you your glasses as soon as you came to this world," Teddie said. "Here, this is for you."

Teddie quickly gave Mimi thin light green rimless glasses with SMPTE bars on the side.

"Wow, I can see clearly with these," Mimi said. "Agumon! Tentomon! There you are! Oh, how I've missed you guys so much!"

Mimi tightly hugged Agumon and Tentomon.

"Aww, hugs are nice," Agumon said.

"You probably want to save this moment when we save Palmon," Tentomon replied.

"You're right; we got to save Palmon," Mimi said, quickly letting go. "So, she's in there, huh? Then, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

"Mimi, it's too dangerous to run in like that," Izzy said as Mimi ran off."

"Let's go after her," I said.

"Right," Izzy replied.

Izzy and I followed Mimi into the toy shop. The shop was more spacious than it appeared outside. There were shelves upon shelves of a wide assortment of toys. In contrast with the gaudiness outside, the inside of the store was very flowery and filled with pastel colors, fitting colors for a toy store. Even the selection toys were rather tame; they appear to be something you can see and buy from the Real World. As we observed our surroundings, the lights went out, and several spotlights were aimed at the center of the shop.

"Ladies and gentlemen," a voice echoed throughout the store. "Welcome! Let me guide you here on this sparkly world of wonder!"

The ground in the center of the store opened, rising from below a set of carefully assorted set of toys on top of several small shelves and tables, a long mirror, and a dresser with a wide mirror. In the middle of it all and completing the image was the same girl who appeared on to Midnight Channel. Sitting on the ground, the girl quickly stood with a smile on her face.

"Hello, and welcome to my famous toy store," Shadow Mimi said. "Isn't this place so divine? I created everything in my own image, making sure it fits my style and taste. Anything that I find impure or unfit in my image, well, let's just say a little lesson awaits them. I only want the finest things in life, and I am more than happy to share this passion with you, but only if you are willing to do everything I say. So, I ask you, won't you come with me and be one with this fog? I'll make sure you can become the best version of yourself that you will ever be."

The title "Become One With Me! Mimi's Wonderful Toyland!" appears in front of her.

"The fact that she said everything with a smile on her face gives me goosebumps," Izzy said.

"Hey, you, where's Palmon," Mimi asked.

"What are you talking about," Shadow Mimi questioned. "I have no idea what you are referring to."

"Don't you lie to me," Mimi shouted. "Tell me where Palmon is right now!"

"Okay, everyone, follow me to a world of pure imagination," Shadow Mimi replied, running away.

"Hey, get back here," Mimi said, running towards her.

"Mimi, wait," Izzy shouted as she ran further away from them.

"She can barely hear us, much less pay attention to her surroundings," I said.

As Mimi continued to chase after her Shadow, various creatures began to emerge from the ground, including ravens, magic hands, dice, and standing castles with cannons.

"We have to take care of those Shadow things before they get close to Mimi," Agumon said.

"Is it just me, or do these Shadows look more menacing than usual," Tentomon asked.

"Then, it's better to be safe than sorry," I said. "Izzy, are you ready?"

"I'm ready when you are," Izzy replied.

"Agumon, Strength Arcana Digivolve to... Greymon," Agumon said.

"Tentomon, Hermit Arcana Digivolve to... Kabuterimon," Tentomon said.

"Alright, let's clear us a path." Greymon said.

"I'll give them something to be shocked out," Kabuterimon replied.

"Nova Blast" Greymon shouted.

"Electro Shocker," Kabuterimon shouted.

Greymon and Kabuterimon fired a fireball and an electrical ball respectively at the castles that were defending the remaining Shadows. It withstood the attacks and began firing at us.

"Those tall things aren't budging," I said.

"According to the crystal ball, it says those things are called Power Castles, and they resist fire damage and are unaffected by electrical attacks," Izzy replied.

"Alright, then we'll use brute force," Greymon said.

"No, don't," Izzy replied. "It also says that they repel any physical damage."

"So, if physical, electrical, and fire attacks don't work, what will," Kabuterimon asked.

"What about ice moves," Teddie asked.

"Well, ice should work on it, but none of us know any ice attacks," Izzy answered.

"That's where I come in," Teddie replied.

Teddie raised his hand, and a card similar to ours slowly floated down towards him.

"Bearsona!" Teddie shouted.

Shattering the card, Teddie revealed a large, round, mechanical being with a cape and a missile.

"What's that," I said. "I've never seen a Digimon like that before."

"Actually, it's classified as a demon," Izzy explained, looking through his crystal ball. "It looks like its name is Kintoki-Douji."

"Kintoki," I repeated. "Why does that name sound familiar?"

"You've probably heard about him in the story of Kintarō," Izzy said.

"Oh yeah, that makes sense," I replied.

"Alright, show them what you can do," Teddie said to his persona.

Kintoki-Douji encapsulated several of the Power Castle's in ice, shattering them in the process.

"That's amazing," Greymon said.

"He's really good," Kabuterimon replied.

"Now that Teddie is able to fight, we should be able to deal with all these Shadows swiftly," Izzy said.

"Alright, let's take them down and catch up to Mimi," I said.

"Right," Teddie, Greymon, Kabuterimon, and Izzy said.
