Chapter 3
White Wedding
It was the morning of their wedding Mihawk awoke bright and early that morning. Looking across his bed his bride slept peacefully. A small smile played across his lips as he left the bedroom for his training room as he needed a little time to himself before he would return to his room to get ready for his big day.
As he walked down the hallway with his bare feet he ran into Nera. "Is she still sleeping?" She asked him.
"Yes." Was Mihawk's only answer.
"I'll get her up to get her ready. Don't take to long in her training room. For the wedding is at Noon." Said Nera.
"Understood." Said Mihawk as he bows his head to the silver hair woman who was already in a long black dress and her hair done up and full makeup.
Walking down the stairs in the sitting room was Dragon drinking some coffee and reading the morning paper. "Good morning." Said Dragon to the man who just nodded his head as he walked passed to another hallway to a large wooden door.
Upstairs
Nera jumped onto the bed as Nyx was slowly waking up. "Good morning sunshine." She told Nyx.
"Morning moonlight." Said Nyx. "Where is my future husband?" She asked her best friend.
"He went down to his training room for a while. But I told him not to stay there all day for the wedding is at noon." Said Nera with a grin.
"Good. He can lose track of time in there." Said Nyx as she sat up in bed.
"So are we ready for you big day?" Question Nera with a large smile on her face.
"Yes. I am. I can't believe he finally asked me to marry him. To be honest I thought I was going to have to ask him." Said Nyx with a smirk on her face.
Nera laughed as she got up off the bed and walked over to his friend's wedding dress. "I know you have always gone after what you wanted. But I am glad he is the one that asked you." She said turning to her friend with a grin on her face.
"I know. Me too." Said Nyx as she walked over to her best friend so they could get her ready for her wedding.
Training Room
Shanks walks into the training room. "Hey Hawke, it's already 10am and the women are getting annoyed with me for not hunting you down sooner." He called out to his best friend.
Mihawk was doing pushup as he looked up to his friend. "I see. I am finished. I will be up to get ready and greet the other guest." He said picking up his shirt and walking over to Shanks.
"It isn't like you. Normally you would have been out there greeting everyone." Said Shanks looking at his best friend with a grin.
"I am just nervous is all." Said Mihawk looking away from Shanks.
"I don't blame you. Nyx is a strong woman and can be a little crazy." Said Shanks as he laughs a little nervously as Mihawk glares at him.
"I am just glad you two make each other happy." Said Shanks as they walked out of the room and Shanks blocked people from stopping Mihawk as he made his way up the stairs to get dress. As he knew Nera moved his things into the room across his bedroom as he saw the note on the door. He let out a sigh. 'Troublesome women.' He whispered to himself as he entered the room that was set up for himself.
After a quick shower and thirty minutes later Mihawk was down the stair in a tuxedo with his golden cross around his neck and his sword on his back and his other sword on his hip. Even if it is his weapon. No self-respecting swordsmen worth his sword would be without his sword.
Mihawk played his part as host as he waited for the time for his blushing bride to make her way down to him for them to be married.
Time had passed and Mihawk was standing before Shanks as the fool was a Captain and as a Captain could do marriages. "Don't be nervous." He told his friend.
"I'm not." Growled out Mihawk as he waited for his bride to show up.
The music began as the guest grew quiet. Before the bride came out was Nera holding red and white rose as she made her way down the aisle. She grinned at Mihawk with a wink.
The doors open wide as Nyx came out in a white ballgown wedding dress. Her emerald hair done up in curls as her make up done as she glowed. Mihawk's jaw hung open as he saw how beautiful she was.
As she stopped and faced him, she smiled at him. 'Your mouth is hanging open.' She whispered to him.
Quickly he snapped his mouth shut and Shanks giggled at the sight before him.
"DEARLY BELOVED WE ARE HERE TO WITNESS THIS TWO UNION." Shanks began.
Mihawk blocked out everything Shanks had said until the part he needed to answer.
"I do." Said Mihawk as he smiles at her love.
Shanks grins looking at Nyx and asks the same question.
"I do." Said Nyx as she smiles back at her love.
"WELL THE POWER INVESTED IN ME AS CAPTAIN. I PROUNCE YOU TWO MARRIED!" Said Shanks. "NOW KISS YOUR BRIDE!" He said with a shit eating grin on his face.
Mihawk leans in and kisses Nyx as she wraps her arms around his neck.
Whistling and hoots could be heard from their guest. But at this time and moment Mihawk could careless as his world was wrapped in his arms.
