Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Goblin and the spider. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Spiderman, Marvel and Disney do.

Spiderman followed after Hobgoblin as he coasted through the city. He looked over his shoulder at Spiderman before looking at the convoy.

"Hey, this is a no-fly zone, buddy." Spiderman put in as he clung to a building near Hobgoblin. "Gonna have to write you a ticket." Spiderman joked as Hobgoblin chuckled.

"Really? My meter isn't done yet." Hobgoblin joked before flying off.

Spiderman watched as the goblin like figure which made him sigh.

"Always something…" Spiderman put in and sighed. "Maybe S.H.I.E.L.D will know something." Spiderman muttered to himself while swinging away.

(20 minutes later)

Spiderman arrived at the Triskelion and landed on the roof. He walked towards the door before someone cleared their throat.

"Hey Fury." Spiderman put in which made him turn to the S.H.I.E.L.D director. "You uh, wouldn't happen to know about…" Spiderman stated which made Fury hum.

"Hobgoblin." Fury stated which made Spiderman raise an eyebrow. "Your talking about the Hobgoblin. The guy riding a brand-new S.H.I.E.L.D glider which went missing about a week ago." Fury added as Spiderman walked over to him.

"How do you already know about…" Spiderman started to ask before dismissing the question. "Is he good, bad? The guy barely said anything and flew off after seeing a bunch of trucks." Spiderman put in as Fury raised an eyebrow.

"All I know is he's been around at least 2 convoys." Fury put in which made Spiderman raise an eyebrow. "Both owned by Fisk. He didn't go after you because as far as I know? Hobgoblin hasn't done anything besides spy on both convoys." Fury added as Spiderman sighed and walk inside.

"That isn't the whole story, is it?" Scarlet Spider asked from behind. Kid Arachnid and Spider Woman stood next to him.

"Hobgoblin hasn't exactly been hard to track." Fury responded and wiped at his brow. "But he's a wildcard as far as we know. He hasn't done anything, nor have we seen much of a motive." Fury added and crossed his arms.

"Then maybe we should get a motive out of him." Scarlet put in as Fury rolled his eyes.

It was impossible to operate in New York without S.H.I.E.L.D knowing something was up.

But Fury wasn't about to send someone to go after Hobgoblin since he had a hunch Hobgoblin wasn't a supervillain.

(With Hobgoblin)

Hobgoblin hummed and followed the convoy around the corner before sighing. He pulled something from his armor.

The object was the size of a dime and pulsed green. Hobgoblin flung it at the lead vehicle.

He kicked in the jets on his glider and flew off. Flames flew from under his glider as he zoomed into the sky.

"Your going to pay for what you took from me, Fisk." Hobgoblin muttered as he zoomed off into the sky.

Hobgoblin decided to check the tracker later. They wouldn't notice it. The last time he managed to plant a tracker on their gear? It had led them exactly where he wanted it to go.

Hobgoblin zoomed off into the sky. He didn't dare question how Spiderman had found him.

"Spiderman almost discovered what I wanted." Hobgoblin muttered to himself as he zipped around the city.

He hummed and cracked his neck before rolling his eyes. Spiderman probably thought he was there to blow up the entire convoy.

While Hobgoblin often debated that? He wasn't going to start a war in the streets. Plus, he knew it would do no good to his goals to begin with.

"All Fisk will do is call Jameson which will turn half New York against me." Hobgoblin muttered to himself as he put down on one of the buildings. "And even if I don't care about that? Fisk will come out looking like a saint. Then I'll have the police barking up my backside." Hobgoblin added to himself and rubbed at his temples.

Hobgoblin looked at the city before sighing as he crossed his arms.

"I need a better game plan then to pick fights with Fisk's empire openly." Hobgoblin stated to himself. "Maybe I can try what led to this point in the first place. Least then they can't threaten to arrest me." Hobgoblin added and boarded his glider once more.

He kicked in the jets as he cracked his fingers. Hobgoblin sighed and once more took off into the sky. Hobgoblin planned on going back to his base. He'd plan his next move with the others then go back out.

"Fisk is going to pay." Hobgoblin muttered to himself with anger staining his voice. "If it's the last thing I do? He's going to pay." Hobgoblin muttered and cracked his neck.

"Even if it takes months, you're going to pay." Hobgoblin muttered with amusement in his voice after that.

Hobgoblin looked at the tracker before zooming off into the distance. He needed to check on it in an hour.

He found himself interested in how Spiderman would react this.
