Please note that I am not really good at writing Hagrid's accent. I hope you enjoy and review...

"You're a Wizard, Harry" announced Hagrid, the half giant who was Hogwarts' Groundskeeper, causing Lucy to smile in triumph. "Finally, after all that Hullabaloo, dodging the billions of letters and moving…"

The poor boy blinked in surprise. "I'm a What?"

"A Wizard, and a thumpin' good one I'd wager. Once you're trained up a little"

"No – no! I-! I can't be a-a "Wizard" "I'm Harry – Just Harry."

Her poor brother was in denial, Hagrid smirked, playing along. "Well let me ask you something "Just Harry" Did you ever make anything happen? When you were angry or scared?"

His green eyes with the black pupils were now the size of quarters behind his glasses. "See "Harry Potter" not be a Wizard? Not possible, and you're not the only one in your family Harry? Lucy here is a Witch." The big man confirmed, turning his head to her "Though I am surprised you didn't tell him"

"I wasn't allowed to"

Sadness came into his black beady eyes, "Professors Dumbledore and McGonagall tol' me what you did, why you weren't comin' to school. You shoulda NEVER had ta make that sacrifice! Lousy Muggles!" Hagrid finished, glaring at the Dursleys huddled in a corner. Then he turned back to her, his expression now hopeful. "Professor Dumbledore gave me a extra letter. This one is addressed ta you" he said, reaching into his big old coat pocket and handed her an envelope identical to Harry's.

She waited for her brother to open his first. "Dear Mr. Potter. We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry…" he read out loud excitedly.

Lucy's reaction was different as she opened the envelope and quietly read her second acceptance letter to the big shot Wizarding School before looking up to Hagrid and her brother "Mine says the same thing practically"

"So will you come?" asked Harry eagerly.

"They will not be going! I tell you! We swore when we took them in, we'd put a stop to all this nonsense!" shouted Vernon, finally finding his voice.

"You knew?! You knew all along and you never said anything!" Harry accused.

"Knew?" scoffed Petunia, "Of Course! We knew. How could you not be?! My "Perfect" sister being what she was-" she cut herself off before glancing at her niece "Or maybe NOT so perfect"

"Bitch" Lucy breathed,

"-Indeed she was"

"I was actually talking about you."

"Excuse me?!"

"You heard me,"

Both Harry and Hagrid watch the exchange silently, though the boy was more or less used to his sister standing up for herself in the past month, ever since that one discussion in the dining room. He wasn't sure what was said but Aunt Petunia seemed to have a hard time looking at Lucy lately.

"Regardless," continued their relative once she realized she wasn't going to get an apology, that girl was a lot easier to control when she was younger. "My "parents" were so "proud" the day she got her letter. "We have a Witch in the family? Isn't it wonderful?" I was the only one to see her for what she was…a Freak! Then she went to that school and she came home with-" Thankfully she chose not to finish that sentence. "before meeting that Potter and settling down, having you" she said addressing Harry. "I knew you would be the same. Just as strange. Just as… abnormal. Then if you please, she went and got herself Blown Up! And We got landed with you two!"

"Blown Up?! You told us our parents died in a car crash!" shouted her brother.

"A Car Crash!" shouted Hagrid, "A Car crash kill Lily and James Potter? It's an outrage! It's a scandal!"

"THANK YOU!" exclaimed Lucy, "I've been wanting to tell him that for YEARS!" before taking a breath and trying to calm down. "Harry, I can absolutely say our parents did not die like that. I know, I was there and old enough to remember. That night was one of the scariest in my life. So much that I had to have medicine or... "potions" to get me through the next night when they dropped us off."

"Yeah ya were kind of out of it. Wonder what Madame Pomfrey made ya?" remarked Hagrid remembering.

"A combination of Calming Draught and Dreamless sleep extra strength. But she wasn't the one to give it to me, it was "Padfoot"- Sirius Black."

The half giant flinched at hearing the name. "Let's not talk about 'im, okay?"

The teen raised an eyebrow then shrugged. There was definitely a mystery there but neither obviously wanted to bring it up now in present company so she let it pass.

"They will NOT be going!" Vernon repeated.

"Oh! and I suppose a big Muggle like yourself is going to stop them eh?" goaded the half giant.

"Muggle?" questioned Harry.

"Non magic folk, this boy and girl has had their names down since they were born! They'll be going to the finest school with the "greatest" Headmaster Hogwarts has ever seen: Albus Dumbledore!"

" I will not pay for some crackpot old FOOL to teach them magic tricks!" the Uncle hollered, red in the face.

Hagrid got deathly quiet and pulled out his pink umbrella? Jabbing it in front of Vernon. "Never… insult… Albus Dumbledore infront of me" he warned redirecting that umbrella to Dudley's rear-end sticking out as he stuffed himself with the Birthday cake Hagrid originally gave Harry, giving him a pig's tail! The Dursleys squealed and screamed, practically tripping over themselves on their way out of the room. Leaving Hagrid alone with two wizarding adolescents barely keeping their own smiles and laughter down.

"I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anybody at Hogwarts about this. Strictly speaking, I'm not even allowed to do magic" the big man confessed before checking his pocket watch. "Blimey! Look at the time! We must be getting off, got lots to do" he said walking back to the way he'd come in, replacing the door. "Unless you'd rather stay, of course?"

Harry looked behind him where their relatives had vanished then to Lucy "Please...?" he asked, holding out for her hand.

"Oh alright" his sister sighed, stepping forward and grabbing it.

Hagrid could barely contain himself before scooping her into bear hug. "Yes, YES! Finally, the Hogwarts Baby is Comin' Home! I've been waiting a long time for this" he said putting her down.

"The Hogwarts Baby?"

"Yeah Harry, yer big sister was actually born at Hogwarts!"

"You never told me that Lucy?"

"It wasn't planned"

"I'll say! One of the Biggest and most kept Secret surprises the school has ever had!"

"If it was secret? How come you know about it?"

"The staff found out but the students never did."

"How come?"

"Harry can we please change the subject now?"

"Alright," agreed her brother, recognizing that tone. One he was unfortunately, very familiar with. His sister was not a good mood. Wordlessly, Lucy followed behind her brother and the giant as they talked animatedly. She smiled sadly at his innocence and wonder of the world they were about to embark. She just hoped he could keep it for a little longer.

Then the young witch continued her lifetime role of her brother's silent bodyguard at the Pub and the Wizarding crowd surrounding him. Her tough façade seemed to break away though at the sight of Diagon Alley marketplace. While Harry reacted in awe, Lucy's tear ducts started working overtime.

"You alright there Lucy?" asked Hagrid, hearing her quiet sniffles.

"I will be fine Hagrid, it's just…. beautiful is all" her voice getting choked up with emotion, causing them both to notice. Harry reached back and grabbing her hand in comfort and support like she always did with him. "It will be okay."

Gringotts was an interesting experience with the goblins. A couple of them seemed to recognized her from all those brief times she'd come in with her mother. Particularly Grip hook.

"You've changed young half-breed since you've been away" he remarked, while Harry and Hagrid were finishing up in his vault. For some reason the goblin could always tell she had a creature inheritance but she never pressed him on it, Like now.

"That's what happens when you grow up in a prison," she answered him with a dead look in her eyes. Before Grip hook had the chance to say anything more. Hagrid and her brother reappeared. And they proceeded to get the Giant's package and walk out of the bank.

Unfortunately, the traveling carts there made Hagrid a little motion sick and he said, he had to stop somewhere for a little pick me up and actually invited her to go along while suggesting that Harry go on to Madame Malkin's to be tailored for his robes. Lucy was hesitant to leave her brother on his own but she felt she needed to talk to Hagrid anyway.

"Harry, you will go to Madame Malkin's and you stay right there in the shop until Hagrid or I come to get you, understand." Her brother nodded, "yes" before disappearing in the crowd as Lucy watched him leave.

"You act more like his mother, than his sister" observed Hagrid as he led them to a different place where he ordered a shot of fire whisky and Lucy a Butterbeer.

"Nothing can replace HER, but I've done my best. Why did you want me to come with you?"

"I just wanted to talk to ya. You've been awfully quiet since I came and got ya? You've let your brother do all the talkin'. I already know yer upset with the way you broke down back there. I just wanted to see if it were me you upset at."

"It's NOT you Hagrid, it's the situation."

"The situation?"

"Hagrid, I was basically thrown into the Muggle version of Azkaban when you lot left me and Harry with the Dursleys. Now I Know, Albus Dumbledore is basically your Hero. But I have a different history with him. It was not warm and fuzzy. Please respect my opinion of not hero worshipping him. Because he really hurt me and I want Harry to make up his own mind when he meets him."

The giant looked shocked, "I'm sure he eh didn't mean ta hurt ya so bad Lucy. I'm a sure he regrets it; he is a good man. He gave me a second chance when I needed it. Why don't ya do the same for him?"

"That's why I said "yes," along with Harry's pleading. I just don't have it in me to be wide eyed and naïve. It was beaten out of me,"

Hagrid frowned, "I'm so sorry, I hated ta leave ya there. Shoulda known that sweet innocent girl who used to play in the snow with Fang when he was a puppy and help me in the garden outside my house wasn't gonna be the same when I met her again."

"Nothing was after her parents died, she was tried and sentenced to hardships one right after another. Her biggest crime was being born different and surviving something that should have ended her and her brothers lives. I lost my whole world and practically everyone, even Uncle Remus who knew what it was like to be an outsider. In all these years, I haven't received a single letter from him or even a birthday card. I've been abandoned and alone with just Harry, trying to set him a good example"

"Well you've done a great job so far" he complimented,

"Thanks. Stepping into Diagon Alley. The reason I was crying? For the first time in ten years…I am Home!"

Back at Privet Drive the Blood Wards protecting Number four began to shake and weaken with Lucy's declaration.

...

Unfortunately, it wasn't to last and the siblings went back to what Albus Dumbledore considered their home until September 1st the day of the Hogwarts Express.

Harry couldn't wait to start, between glance/reading over their spell books and practicing the movements with his wand when Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon left the house, Dudley wasn't actually allowed to go anywhere with his "Pig-tail" no matter how much he whined and begged. His parents repeatedly assured their perfect Dudleykkins that as so as they found a doctor to remove that thing. They would take him wherever he wanted to go for dinner. Both Harry and Lucy groaned in response.

When they had been shopping in Diagon Alley, Harry and Hagrid were surprised to discover Lucy already had a wand, it just wasn't on her.

"Is it back at the Dursleys?" they'd asked.

"No, my teacher- er old teacher has it. For safekeeping."

"Teacher?"

Then his sister went on to explain that Professor McGonagall had privately arranged a tutor to help her in magic. That's what the "treatments" she attended really were. Harry had grown more fascinated with every detail and kept pestering her for information since.

Finally, one day close to the end of August. Harry and Lucy were talking up in the attic aka her bedroom when suddenly a Blue Macaw carrying a suitcase? flew in from the open window. Harry's eyes widened, though his sisters remain normal. In fact, she smiled in welcome.

"Hello Miss Aurora,"

The bird put down the suitcase and changed before their eyes into a woman in her 50's with her long golden blond hair in a braid down the middle of her back. Her piercing blue eyes looked familiar somehow until he saw the bad third degree burn the size of a chicken egg on the left side of her face between her eye and hairline.

"Harry, don't stare. It's rude" Lucy scolded.

"It's alright Lucy, giving the circumstances. Your brother has never seen me before, I'm used to it" the woman answered before introducing herself. "Hello Mr. Potter, I'm your sister's teacher:

"Aurora Ariana Dumbledore…"
