Meanwhile on Asgard…

"I could have done it Father! I could have done it! For You! For all of us!

"No Loki," Odin felt his blood freeze the second his son abruptly let go and began falling into the abyss, accompanied by his eldest shouts and screams for his brother. Odin couldn't grieve for Loki now, he still had to save Thor. "Don't let go Son!" his mind screamed just as the All father began to lose his own balance on the broken shards of the rainbow bridge. "No! Father!" Thor pleaded as the old man fell over the side, taking them both…!

"AHH! OHHH!" The All Father screamed as he shot up in his bed suddenly awake from the nightmare he'd been having. It was only yesterday that his son Thor had returned, having learned his lesson and Loki-?! He frowned, both at his son's actions and finding an empty place next to him. "Frigga?"

The king called and waited for ten minutes before he called a servant this time. His wife wasn't in the palace, she was with Heimdall. Odin shook his head; she had taken Loki's death the hardest along with Thor. Rather than continue to wait around, the All father went and got himself dressed before heading out to the Observatory. Heimdall bowed upon seeing him.

"My King,"

"How is she?" he asked trying to peer around behind him.

The watchful eye sighed, "The Queen is much the same as when she heard the news."

Without another word Odin entered to find his wife sitting on the steps, just staring out into space across the universe. "Frigga?" he called, taking a seat beside her. "He's gone, you know that, right?"

The queen, snapped her head up as she turned to face him. "I don't believe that. My son is out there, I can feel it. I'm not giving up hope. In the meantime, I'm checking on the last living link to him: My grandchildren. Little Harry is getting big despite their unfortunate circumstances," she paused with regret.

"They're not "ours?" he remarked, instantly becoming surprised at Frigga's now fiery expression. "

"Don't even start that Odin Borson." She warned him in a tone he'd only heard her use once before. "I told you ten years ago on Midgard after finding Loki in that - that position. Not to play with my heart. We weren't honest with him, so WHY are you so surprised things turned out the way that they did, BOTH times?"

The king seethed at the reminder of his failure. "It wasn't supposed to turn out this way"

"Any version that wasn't the truth was going to end badly. You didn't just bring another War Relic home that day. You placed a baby in my arms and asked me to be his mother?! And so, I did. He is a part of me, and I of him. Even if he won't admit it now. The same goes for those children he had when he ran away and erased his memory of us and the life he had. You never treated him the same as Thor once you found he wasn't a warrior.

Tell me, DID Laufey know you had taken the son he abandoned? Did he know of your plan to put Loki on the throne of Jotunheim?"

The king was silent.

"I thought so, I love him for who he is. Mischief and all. You weren't satisfied with that, and he never gave up trying to please you. All he wanted was to belong, to be an Equal. He felt he didn't here, and it did not help with the stories you told about his race in the long run. So, he left, trying to find a family?" she winced,

"He did a good job. De-aging himself, choosing to become a girl because of the less pressure in the Midgard Seidr World and a blood adoption so he could fit in with the family who had lost their stillborn. Keeping himself hidden from Heimdall until he gave birth to Lucy…. You have to make up your mind. My dear Husband. Either you are or are not Loki's father. Once you know that, you will also know where you stand with those children. And I will continue to support you outwardly but behind closed doors, it will be a different story" she said, getting up and leaving the king in silence…

...
The train whistle blew as Harry looked around excitedly at Kings Cross. They were finally here! He and Lucy were going to Hogwarts! Now, they just had to find the right platform? Nine and three quarters?... Nine and three quarters? They were just about to give up, thinking Uncle Vernon might have actually been right for once. When they heard a redheaded woman exclaim something about muggles. Intrigued, they decided to ask her.

"Excuse me? We were wondering if…?" Harry began, luckily the woman caught on.

"How? How to get onto the platform?" he nodded, she smiled reassuringly. "First time at Hogwarts?"

"For both of us," Lucy confirmed, the woman now looked at the older girl in surprise. "Transfer student,"

The woman whose real name was Molly Weasley raised an eyebrow before continuing in her welcoming demeanor. She had never heard of Hogwarts accepting "transfer" students but probably because there weren't that many, thanks to the previous war. Whoever this girl was, she was very fortunate to have Albus Dumbledore's approval to come to school this late.

"It's Ron's first time at Hogwarts too" she said gesturing to her son, he smiled awkwardly at both of them. "So, what you've got to do, is go straight at the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. Do at a bit of a run if you're nervous" she advised.

"I'll go first," said Lucy, lining up her trolley the way the woman told her. She wasn't sure what was going to happen but she rather it be her smashed instead of Harry. Surprisingly, she didn't collide like she'd been expecting but seemed to be sucked through this invisible tunnel only to appear on the other side on another platform facing a long shiny red steamed locomotive with "Hogwarts Express" written on the front.

"Whoa!" her brother breathed in awe coming up behind her. "It's amazing!"

"It is isn't it?" she sighed, "Come on, time to get you and Hedwig settled." The snowy owl screeched in approval from her cage.

"Hey Lucy?" questioned Harry as they found an empty compartment and began to unload.

"What?"

"How come you didn't pick a familiar in Diagon alley when Hagrid offered you one?"

"Harry… the only "familiar" I can take care of right now is the human one sitting across from me" "Hey!" she smiled,

"The truth hurts, at any rate. I don't plan, on becoming attached to an animal until we've got our own place, away from the Dursleys. Particularly Dudley, in case you have forgotten the time he killed that baby squirrel who'd fallen out of the tree we were nursing?" The boy winced, at least Hedwig was an adult and could fly away.

"Good point,"

Lucy made herself comfortable as she stretched out with her feet up on her side, grabbing a book from her carry-on bag.

"Whatcha got there?"

"As I belated birthday present, since mine was a month before yours. Hagrid sent me one of Mom's journals he recovered from the wrecked house."

"Really? Can I see it?" he asked as the train began to move from the station.

"Excuse me?" came a knock on the compartment door. Both siblings looked up to see the redheaded boy from earlier.

"Do you mind if I sit here? Everywhere else is full?"

"Not at all," Harry invited, gesturing to the space right next to him. The boy smiled thankfully, coming to sit. "I'm Ron, Ron Weasley," he introduced himself.

"I'm Harry, Harry Potter" her brother copied as the redhead's eyes widened.

"So, it's true? You really have the-?"

"The What?"

"The Scar...? Ron whispered intently, "Oh," Harry shrugged, raising a hand to pull back his bangs, revealing it.

"Here we go," Lucy breathed as she waited for the other boy's reaction.

"Wicked!"

"And we have blast off," causing Ron to raise an eyebrow.

"That's my sister, Lucy" Harry explained to the boy's shock "Sister-?"

But they were interrupted by the compartment door reopening to find a bushy haired young girl. "Have either of you seen a toad? A boy named "Neville" has lost one. Oh! Are you doing magic?" she asked, seeing Ron's wand out in front of him. "Let's see then-!" she all but ordered as a rat crawled out of his pocket. "AHH!"

"It's just Scabbers," said Ron, holding him up. "He was my brother's rat before he gave him to me. Do you want to see if I can turn him yellow? "Sunshine, daises, flowers mellow. Turn this stupid fat rat yellow!" His wand gave off a shock but not much else. "Ow!"

"Are you sure that's a real spell?" asked the girl, "Well it's not a very good one, isn't it?"

"For example," she continued inviting herself in and coming to sit on the other side of Harry. "Oculus Repairo!" she stated with her own wand out repairing his glasses. "I know you!" she gasped, "You're Harry Potter! I'm Hermione Granger, and you are?" she asked Ron, a little repulsed.

"Ron Weasley," he answered with his mouth now full of snacks Harry ordered earlier from the treat and beverage cart.

"Pleasure," " You're quite famous you know?" stated Hemione, refocusing on Harry.

"No…Really?" Lucy sarcastically snickered, drawling the young girl's attention.

"It's not something to joke about, Harry Potter saved the entire Wizarding World from You-Know-Who!"

"I'm pretty sure OUR mother had something to do with it, Miss Granger" said Lucy, raising to her full height, towering a foot above the girl.

"Your Mother?" asked Hermione, her eyes widening.

"Lucinda Potter, Harry's older sister and so far, the only one who really remembers what happened that night. Which I will NOT discuss at this time" she stated firmly, giving the others including her brother chills with her voice.

"I-! I mean no disrespect" the first year apologized, "You're just not in any of the stories I've read"

"The books don't tell you everything, almost all of them are in fact Fiction written without our consent" said Lucy, trying to use words the seemingly bookworm could understand.

"I'm sorry," said Hermione.

"It's alright, just don't make it a habit of barging in assumingly. You won't be very popular in school if you do that," the older girl replied changing her tone.

Ron and Harry looked at each other. "Does your sister always do that?"

"Only when you bring up that night and our parents, they were really close. Which makes it worse…"

"Blimey! I never thought about it from that angle Mate! Your sister has every right to be hurt and angry then"

"She does her best with me but it's not the same. Just give her a chance" Ron nodded, realizing Harry probably had it easy, not remembering.

It wasn't long after that Hermione left the compartment to change into her robes. The two boys did as well with Lucy going off to the ladies' room. When she returned, she found the boys in deep conversation about Wizarding Candy and Chocolate Frog cards. Not wanting to ruin their fun, she slipped in and resumed her seat with the journal on her lap before opening and turning the page…
