Thanks for the support you have all showed, it is greatly appreciated.
I pulled out my old laptop last night and transferred over the other stories I started oh so long ago. I read 2/3 all the way through till they abruptly ended. I really wish I could just give someone else my outline and let them finish my stories for me sometimes. I just wanted to keep reading them to the end! So I guess I am saying I know how you all felt now after I left this story for so long. I am working on finishing this story exclusively, posting once a week. When Gabby's story is done (NO MORE SEQUELS) I will work on completely finishing my next story before I start to post chapters so the same thing doesn't happen again.
Thanks for reading, enjoy!

Set the night of the last chapter
"Hey." Tig greeted sheepishly when Gabby opened the door.
"Hey." Gabby answered.
"I just wanted to let you know that I'm here. I'm staying at the clubhouse. If you need help watching the kids…picking up groceries…whatever, I'm here."
Gabby gave Tig a half smile. "Come in." She offered and closed the door behind him. "How long are you here for?"
"As long as I need to be. Fresno is down 4 people; things are pretty calm in Charming."
Gabby nodded her head and leaned against the closed den door. "The kids are in bed. Kristen is still pretty upset. She doesn't understand everything going on, I just…I can't tell her why Casper and Hap are in jail. She just knows she can't talk to them and we don't know when they're getting home."
"I understand, sort of. You don't want to lie but they aren't old enough to know the truth."
"Yeah. I don't think I'm old enough to know the truth." Gabby mumbled. She pushed herself off the door. "Do you want some food?" She asked, headed towards the kitchen.
"No, don't worry about me, I just wanted to stop in, see how you were doing."
Gabby nodded her head and wrapped her arms around her stomach. "I keep reminding myself he hasn't been sentenced. Anything could happen between then and now. But then I think about what could happen…what did happen…to Opie."
"Don't doll, entirely different situation. You gotta believe that."
"I know, and I know that Hap will keep Casper safe. But, if something happens, if he has to defend himself in there, hurt someone, he could lose any chance at a plea bargain."
"Gabby, you'll drive yourself crazy with the what if's. You gotta stop."
"I know, Shark said the same thing at dinner." Gabby sat down at the kitchen table. Tig pulled out a seat across from her.
"Can I get you something doll? A glass of wine, shot of whiskey?"
"I'm sure you have better things to do then sit here with me." Gabby spoke after several moments of silence.
"I can stay all night if you want company. But I won't stay passed my welcome."
"I think I'd like to just wile alone for a while, no offense. Thanks for checking on me."
"Okay, try to get some sleep Gabby, I'll lock up behind me."
Gabby nodded her head as Tig stood up and left. She was grateful for the silence. Grateful that Shark had left just as easily as Tig when she asked him to, grateful to no longer being watched day and night by a prospect. Things had been so calm in the last month. The club was hunting down men to help in Lenard's case, but there had been no more violence, no threats. Casper had been home every night for dinner. She was glad she had gotten that month with him before all this happened.
Gabby wrapped her arms around her stomach again and thought about the life growing inside her. She couldn't imagine going through all of it again without her husband. Go through labor without him, or her father, by her side.
The men sat quiet in the chapel, the empty chairs seemingly taking up too much space in the room.
"Sieben got a hold of Lenard, told him what happened with Hap and Casper. He didn't take it well." Harry informed the club.
"He has something else, on Lenard's case. X never said he witnessed the accident. He can't actually say he saw Lenard kill Chris. I guess he didn't think that through. Sieben thinks that will work in our favor. Sieben thinks if he can punch a few holes in the key witness testimony the prosecution may not want to take it to court. Best case scenario, Lenard gets a fine for not reporting an accident."
"Worse case scenario being first degree murder." Vin finished for Harry.
"Yeah, but Sieben has high hopes. Vivica made a statement on Lenard's behalf that will go a long way in discounting motive."
"You aren't going to try to find X in witpro?" Tig asked. "I mean, it's not easy, but it's been done."
"Lenard doesn't want us to. He doesn't want any more killing. Killing is what got us into this damn situation to begin with. I'm with him, he's still our president. I'm following his orders." Vin stated.
"Since you brought that up…" Frankie led him on.
"No, no voting. Neither case has gone to trial, we have no idea what is going to happen. No voting. Any other business?"
"Tony's just a few weeks shy of his year. Missing so many guys, we might want to get him patched, get our numbers up." Tom Tom spoke up.
"Agreed, all in favor?" Vin looked around to the table and got all aye's. "Frankie, take care of getting him his patches."
"No party?" Asked Bull.
"Not really in the mood." Answered Shark.
"You going to Gabby's?" Vin asked him.
"Yeah, she wasn't up for coming here."
"We can party without her." Bull mumbled.
"No party." Vin stated firmly and banged the gavel.
"Hey Gabs!" Shark yelled as he let himself in the front door. He got no answer but followed the sound of the tv to the family room and made himself comfortable with the kids watching a movie.
Gabby popped her head in the room 10 minutes later. "Oh." She stated. "Hey, good-"
"I like being called good." Shark smiled.
"Good someone's here watching the kids." Gabby rolled her eyes. "I filled out the paperwork for you to get a badge for the kids' daycare. It's on the counter. I'll be in the den, extra chickpea salad in the fridge."
"Mmmm chickpea salad," Shark mocked but Gabby walked away to quickly to hear him. "Got anything else to eat?" Shark turned to Kristen.
"Lentil chili from yesterday." Kristen answered, still staring at the screen.
Gabby and her weird healthy dinners Shark thought as he got up to look for dinner. He settled for the chickpea salad after mixing a big handful of cheese in it. He brought it with him to the den.
"Knock, knock." He spoke as he pushed the door open that had been just cracked. Gabby turned her head away from the spreadsheet on the monitor.
"What's up?" She asked.
"Just checking on you, I need my Gabby time." Shark smiled and filled his mouth.
"Right." Gabby turned back to the monitor. "I'm done falling apart. I am in complete control of my emotions." She assured him.
"One might say too much in control." Shark answered after a moment to swallow his food. "What you got up there?" He indicated the monitor.
"Bills."
"You're not in trouble are you, because-"
"No, Casper and I have savings, we never lived paycheck to paycheck. Just filling in the utility bills, checking balances. We're fine." She assured him.
"Okay." Shark put his free hand up defensively. "How are the kids doing? Kristen's pretty intense on that movie."
Gabby chuckled, "it was just released on Disney+ last night. They haven't seen it a million times yet."
Shark nodded his head, Gabby sighed. "They don't understand why they can't talk to them on the phone. They could always call or skype when they were on runs. Sieben hasn't worked out visitation yet."
"There are always ways to get around that." Shark hinted.
"I'm not doing anything that could get Casper even one more minute in that place."
"Alright." Shark looked down at his empty plate. "You eat yet?"
"Yeah." Gabby answered automatically.
"Gabs?" Shark kicked the base of her chair. "Baby number 3 needs food. Now you made me swear not to tell the guys about your…condition…which I think is the wrong choice given the situation, but you gotta promise me you're taking care of yourself. And let me help."
Gabby sighed. "My stomach is all in knots Shark, I can't hold anything down."
"I'll make you some toast, and check on the kids for you." He added as he left the room.
Tom Tom parked his car in the new driveway and glanced at Becky. He had gotten his keys quickly, and having nothing to move, and no decorating skills, had bought and had delivered the necessary pieces of furniture. A bed, dresser, leather couch, kitchen table. And, maybe, a twin bed in his spare room. For visiting brothers….or maybe Suzie.
He needed more, but he was hoping he could convince Becky to help him out there.
"It's got nice curb appeal." Becky took a good look at the house as she undid her seat belt. She got out of the car and fished Suzie out of the backseat. "Are you allowed to plant anything?"
"I don't know, I didn't ask, landlord does the mowing." Tom Tom answered as he jingled his new keys and led the way to the front door.
"And you have furniture!" Becky exclaimed as she stepped inside, the living room to her right.
"Just some basics, I know it's not done." Tom Tom followed up quickly. "I'm gonna mount a tv here." He stepped into the room and started pointing. "And I know I need some tables, and I don't know, maybe a rug on the floor? I'm no good at this." He added sheepishly.
Becky grinned. She knew when she was being manipulated. But if it meant she got to decorate a house she would look past it.
"Yeah, an area rug, and a runner here in the hall. I like the kitchen table." She walked through the hall to the kitchen and opened the fridge. Nothing but beer. She opened a drawer and found it completely empty, did the same with the cabinet above it. "Any maybe some dishes and silverware." She laughed.
"Yeah, I know. I only hit up one store so far, for the big stuff. Wanted to be able to start sleeping here." He shrugged and glanced at Suzie, who wasn't feeling well, clinging to her mothers' leg. "Maybe, when you're able, you can help me out, you know, pick out dishes, towels…"
"Sure." Becky smiled. "How do you feel about art work?"
"Oh! I have this motorcycle print in the dorm, gorgeous antique, gonna get it framed. Gonna put it on the wall over there." He pointed back out of the kitchen towards the front door.
"Hmm" Becky thought.
"What?"
"Well…I mean it's your place…"
"No, I want you to help me…I want you to like it here." Tom Tom stepped up and grabbed her hand.
"Well, I guess I would just put some hooks up on that wall for coats. And maybe put the big poster over the couch."
"Oh, well, yeah" he laughed. "If you want to be practical."
"That's me, always practical. You got any paper around here?"
"Umm, I don't think so." Tom Tom looked around.
"Okay, I'll use my phone. I'm gonna start a list, I'll text it to you. Just the basics you need. Sponges, dish soap, towels, cups, plates, maybe some Tupperware…" She pulled out her phone. "You do have toilet paper and soap in the bathroom, right?"
"And paper towels." Tom Tom assured her.
"Okay." She continued to type into her phone. "When Suzie is feeling better, I can go out with you, for more art, curtains, the pretty things." She laughed. "I would ask Gabby to watch Suzie so we could go sooner, but…"
"Yeah, I get it. How is she doing?"
"Isn't really talking much. Kids are upset, I can tell she's worried, not sleeping. Shark goes there most nights after work. And Tig is in town, but I don't think she's asked him for much help."
"Maybe, ahh…maybe when Suzie is better, we could pick up her two, give her a couple hours to herself."
"Tom Tom, did you just offer to babysit?"
"Well, I just mean, I guess yeah." He toed the floor with his boot. Becky looked at him with little hearts in her eyes.
"Hey." Kaye pushed herself up from Shark's front porch when he parked his bike and came up the walk.
"Kaye, what are you doing here?"
"Well, we haven't seen much of each other in a week. And…I missed you."
"Oh." Shark rubbed the back of his head. "I've been kinda busy." Kaye came up to him and rubbed her hands up his chest, liking her fingers behind his neck.
"I know. You want to help Gabby, and that is so sweet. But…you lost your best friend. You need some comfort too." She nipped his jaw lightly.
"Thanks for the offer Kaye," he unhooked her hands from his neck and lowered them to her sides. "But I'm beat tonight, I'm gonna go to bed. Some other time, okay?"
"Oh, ok, yeah, sure."
