Chapter 14: Of Redheads and Blondes
Never rebel for the sake of rebelling, but always rebel for the sake of truth."
― Criss Jami

Hinata was interrupted from her sleep by bright light coming in from the window. She squinted her eyes and slowly covered her head with the the patterned blanket, trying to block out the sun rays from her sensitive eyes. She almost groaned when she felt a slight headache coming on. Just what time did she go to bed? Her eyes still felt heavy and her legs ached.
Nonetheless, she jutted the covers away and towards a drawer in the room, pulling open drawers as she looked for her uniform. She had to get to work or else Ayame would have her head.
The rattling started to get louder as she found she could not find her uniform at all. A head popped up from under the covers of the bed, revealing the messy red-bed-head of a squinty-eyed Sasori, who looked at her in agitation. She didn't notice though - she was on a brink of a panic attack. Just where is it -
The tv on the wall popped, knocking her out of her trance.
Sasori yawned. "Going somewhere, Hyuuga?"
Hinata looked back at him with lidded eyes. "W-What are you doing here?" Realization came back to her like a hangover to a drunk. She was in France, not in Japan. "Oh." .She sat down on the edge of the bed and looked up at the clock.
9:34 a.m.
She sighed a little and started to wring her hands together. Sasuke. She was going to face him tonight: her unintentional bully. I go to ball, catch Sasuke's attention, and then what? What if she didn't catch his attention? As far as she knew, Sakura was the only one he actually had cared about, so her showing up with Sasori probably wouldn't even affect him. And if it did, how was she going to keep his attention long enough for Sasori to find Anne-Sophie? She needed a plan B if this one didn't work out.
The bed shifted as Sasori got up, taking a moment to stretch before starting towards the bathroom. Hinata watched after him, her gaze on his backside and soon his bedhead.
It wasn't every day you shared a bed with an attractive guy. Hinata scratched her hair and looked up at the television screen. It was a news station. The two news reporters were in a serious debate. A picture was in the corner of the screen, which displayed a woman with a beautiful smile and shining blue eyes. Blue eyes that curved at the ends in beauty, eyes that displayed that erratic passion that she'd seen before. She had blonde hair.
Deidara had blond hair. And his eyes were just as passionate.
"Looks like they finally found out. It took them long enough".
Hinata glanced over at Sasori, who was clad in sweats and a dark shirt. "Did they really have to t-take her?" Would Sasuke really do this?
Sasori went to the bed and reached under it. "A lot of money goes into drug trafficking. If something isn't shipped off at the right time or some of the stuff goes missing, money is lost. You can't sue someone over something that is illegal, but what you can do is negotiate. It isn't uncommon for people to take a hostage over stuff like this. Mondine just has to give Sasuke the profits of the shit so that he can get his wife back." He tucked the gun in his pants, unbeknownst to the girl.
Hinata had other things on her mind. "I-It's hard to believe that Sasuke...I never expected him to do something like this - "
"There are a lot of things people don't know about Uchiha. Gaara stopped hanging with him for several reasons beyond that of high school drama."
Yes. There was a lot she didn't know about Sasuke, and she was 'married' to him…
Hinata looked away. "W-What about Deidara? He said I reminded him of his mother."
"Yeah, he did. Don't take it to heart. He was just caught up in the moment.", Sasori said, taking a seat on the bed next to her.
She smiled a bit. "It's because he thinks I'm weak-willed, right? I don't r-really say much - I just let people walk all over me. That's probably how Anne is. M-Meek. She wasn't strong enough to protect him."
Sasori looked at her. "Deidara doesn't like how Mondine sent him to Japan. He didn't want to leave to study business, but he had no choice. His mother knew he wanted to be an artist."
An artist? It made sense in a way. Deidara was very creative, and he was on the design team for her. So he was angry that he couldn't strive for what he really wanted because he was being pushed down a path that he father had made for him. And his mother…
"There's more to the story, but that's all I can tell you right now."
Hinata bit her lip."He felt betrayed when she agreed with his father." How sad..
Sasori waved his hand at her. "Don't pity him. He wouldn't want you to."
Hinata looked down at her lap. "What about you? Have you ever felt betrayed by your parents?"
Sasori pondered on her question with a thoughtful gaze at the ceiling. "I don't know. I think I have. My mother and father sent me to live with my granny Chiyo after I was born, but that doesn't mean I hate them. They were starting their career. I would've slowed them down."
Hinata smiled a bit. "They m-missed out."
Sasori smirked. "Shut up." He stood, stretching out his shoulders. "Once we get his mother back, everything will go back to normal." He smirked at her."Well, not after last night.."
Hinata frowned. "W-What you did last night was unhonorable. That's sexual harassment!", she scolded.
Sasori blinked. "Listen girl-"
"Hinata - "
"Whatever. I never have been an 'honorable' guy. Never have, never will. And what the hell is sexual harassment?"
Hinata started to boil at little at his nonchalant attitude. "I-It's when you touch a woman who doesn't want to be touched!" Of course he wouldn't know, he practically harassed her on their little spree last night.
Sasori rolled his hazel eyes. "So what you're saying is that if I patted you on the shoulder without your consent, that I would be sexually harassing you?"
Hinata made a face. "No, I mean if-"
"So, earlier this morning when we were walking back to the hotel, you sexually harassed me in the public eye."
"W-What? No, I-"
"Yeah you did. You had your arms around me, and I didn't say I wanted to be touched at all. I was an innocent man then." Was he crazy?
"You held me first! Stop lying!"
"Whatever." Sasori rolled his eyes at her red face and proceeded to the door, through with pestering the girl. He turned back around when he remembered something. "Oh...Konan called. She's pissed."
Hinata's anger turned to a little fear."W-Well, what did she say?"
Sasori shrugged. "A load of bull talking about how she's going to skin us both and throw us to the dogs. Oh, and she's your new agent now. Congrats.", he said with sarcasm and proceeded to go to the door, but was stopped once again by the bluette.
"Wait! W-Where are you going?"
He smirked a little at her face. "That's adorable - you're acting like you're my wife."
Hinata pouted.
Sasori sighed. "A dress won't just fly out of the sky into our hotel room ,will it? I have to have someone tailor our outfits for the ball tonight. And I have to go find that little blond bitch before he flies off to Cambodia or something. His hand unknowingly went to the gun in his shorts. And I'm going to speak with Mondine.
Hinata frowned at him. "What a-am I supposed to do?"
"Go out. Enjoy yourself. Just don't let MGC catch you out yet." With that, he took his leave before she could say anything.
She sighed before looking around the messy room. "I-I guess I'll cleanup first…"
"I'm gonna bust his balls, and then I'm gonna cut up that pretty little face of hers.", said Konan as she typed up her last report for Pein.
Ino looked around the girl's personal study room, admiring the fine craftsmanship of it. "I can't believe that Hinata just left without telling either one of us. I know that she was a bit pissed at us for calling her out, but I didn't think she would just leave without saying goodbye."
Konan snorted and angrily tapped one of the keys, making one of the key pop off to the other side of the room.
Ino looked on in sympathy at the missing piece. "Do you think she's still mad at us? Maybe we were too hard on her - "
"No. Hinata's over that - she has much bigger issues to deal with, like stopping Sasuke."
Ino gasped. "She went to stop Sasuke?!"
Konan sighed. "I think that's what I said."
"That's dangerous! Why the hell would she do something like that?!", Ino pulled at her hair. "S-She could get hurt - "
"It's better that she's there and not here. I'd give her a scar alright.", Konan glared, continuing her report.
Ino sighed. Hinata clouded her thoughts, and she couldn't stop that inking feeling in chest. "I pray that they all make it back safely."
Konan stopped her typing and looked back at the girl with crossed arms. "Don't tell me you're worried?"
The blonde picked up the picture on the bed and continued to peer at it. "I'd just hate for something to happen to her. Hinata's such an angel and she's been through so much...I just want to see her happy, not battered and bruised like a chew toy."
Konan gagged. "Ugh, please don't go all sappy on me.", she said, looking over at the picture on her desk. Hinata's shy smile was there. She sighed, looking back at the depressed woman. "Oh God, I can't believe I'm saying this - if it makes you feel any better, I'm worried about her too. I've been by her side for three years straight. It would... be hard for me to lose her…"
"Thank you…", Ino sighed, glancing back down at the picture. "I already miss the little - Oh my God!"
Konan gave her a questioning brow. "What is it, Ino?"
Ino ran towards the computer and put the picture on a scanner. Konan watched as the picture popped up on the screen. "Look!"
Konan looked at the picture on the screen, displaying the crying Anne-Sophie."Ok..it's Deidara's mom.."
Ino zoomed in. Konan's eyes widened.
A sign, "Zeour's Shack", reflected on the glass tiles of the abandoned building. A pinpointed location. A clue.
Konan smiled a bit and looked towards the blonde. "The hideout is near that building! Ino, you're a freaking fairy!"
Ino grabbed a phone book from under the stand and pulled out her phone. "We need to send this to Sasori, ASAP."
Hinata peeked her head down the hall, making sure to look both ways until she was sure no one was spying on her. She quickly stepped out the door and locked it before scurrying down the hall.
She had decided to take Sasori's advice and leave the hotel room. A large television and a fridge full of food was a recipe for disaster.
She gripped the poor stomach as she went into the elevator. Maybe the hotel served good breakfast.
On her ride down, she started to think about Deidara. Of course he had every right to be mad at the world right now, she surely would be, but him not accepting her help was out of line. He should consider all options at this point. The police were immediately ruled out; they had just found out she was missing when she had been gone for maybe a couple of weeks now. They would take forever finding her and unfortunately Anne-Sophie didn't have that kind of time. She was in danger - who knew what Sasuke would do.
Hinata clutched her head and walked out of the elevator into the large lobby, sighing in stress and anxiousness. "I should look around...", she muttered to herself, looking up at the large screen projecting the news station that once again showed Anne-Sophie.
A round of squeals were heard in the lobby, making crowds of people turn towards the commotion. Hinata rubbed her nose and went into the breakfast room.
Unbeknownst to Hinata, many people had seen that and were currently videotaping the girl and or taking pictures of her.
I don't have any money. She pressed her face against the glass of pastries, eyeing the cinnamon treats in particular. That means no treats...
The girl sighed sadly and walked away from the counter, leaving the woman with a confused face resembling that of a fish. Hinata plopped down in a chair and resorted to picking at the hoodie Sasori had lent her. She had bet that she looked like a homeless person, not saying that she wasn't considering that since she now practically lived in her best friend's basement.
Hinata let out another breath and looked around the room. Her eyes stopped on a familar pair, to which she gasped in surprise. He eyes had to be betraying her.
Mikoto Uchiha, the wife of Fugaku Uchiha and mother of the infamous Sasuke and Itachi, stood next to her best friend Kushina Namikaze, wife of Minato and mother of Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, staring at the delectable glass of treats in fascination and wonder. Both clad in orange floral. Not that it was important.
Hinata ducked under the table. "W-Why are they here?!", she whispered, peering over the table to glance at the beautiful pair. What were the odds of both of them being her. It would be embarrassing for her to show her face - especially when she looked a mess.
They were walking her way, oblivious to the flashing cameras outside the window. They were attracting too much attention -
"Hinata? Is that you, girl?"
Hinata whipped her head around. "Uncle M-Madara?"
Her uncle-in-law, Madara. Why now. She gave the tall, long-haired male an uneasy smile.
"It's been awhile! It's so good to see you.", he looked back towards the pair, not seeing Hinata's pleading gaze. "Kushina, Mikoto, look who I found!"
The two women stopped their conversation and looked at the short girl.
Before Mikoto could speak, Kushina squealed and jumped the girl, knocking the bluette over onto the floor.
"AWW, hey there cutie!", muttered the red haired woman into her cheek, making Hinata blush the color of her hair.
"Get off of her before you crush the poor girl with your large meatbags!" Mikoto ushered the woman off the girl and pulled Hinata up.
"Wait Mikoto - this the adorable girl that Sasuke-chan wants to divorce?" Kushina smirked sneakily.
Hinata felt a little pang of dread. So everyone knew…
Mikoto sheepishly smiled at the redhead and turned towards Hinata, secretly flipping the bird at the woman. "Well, you know Sasuke, he is always so rash about his decisions! He's still so young-"
"And dumb.", finished Madara as he started to stare at random women.
Mikoto nodded happily. "Yeah. Unfortunately he inherited that quality from my husband's side of the family."
"But we're apart of the same family - "
"Shut it, Madara..."
Kushina ignored the two, giving the girl a smile. "Would you like to join Mikoto and I -" Madara glared. Kushina reworded her question. "I mean, would you like to join us for breakfast?"
Mikoto and Kushina smiled brightly at her. Madara sighed tiredly. They were scaring her, although she wouldn't admit that to them.
Just as she was about to decline, a server set down the two trays of pastries that consisted of the sugary cinnamon sweet.
Kushina raised a brow, her smile lowering into a smirk.
Hinata didn't care though. "O-Okay!" She took a seat.
Mikoto turned her rage onto the victorious Namikaze. "That was a cheap shot, Kushina! How did you know that she liked those?"
Kushina flipped her hair, taking a seat in front of the cheesing girl. "If you didn't know already, I'm still very close with the Hyuuga clan. I'm practically family there. Speaking of that..." Her blue-eyed stare went to Hinata, who was busy taking care of her hunger pains. "I heard that you were disowned. I'm sorry about that. It's not like them to be so cold. They're such nice people. It must be hard for you."
Hinata slowly took a cinnamon bun from the plate, contemplating her words. "M-My friends helped me through t-that difficult time. I'm fine now."
"That's nice to know." Kushina nodded. "Are you okay? Do you need any assistance with anything - "
"Oh no, I-I'm fine. I have everything under c-control - "
"Do you have a place to stay?", Mikoto asked, taking a seat along with Madara.
Hinata couldn't help the blush that came to her cheeks from the attention. "I stay with one of my friends, so..."
Kushina blinked. "One of your friends?" Both of the women threw each other a look before looking back at the girl.
Madara sighed, leaning his elbow against the table. "And once again, this whole conversation is over my head. What was the glance that you two shared?"
Mikoto smirked, patting the man on the shoulder. "See, it's just my husband's side of the family that's a bit simple-minded."
"For the last time, all of the Uchiha are related, Mikoto - "
"Who are you staying with? Do you mind telling us your friend's name?", Kushina asked, once again ignoring the bickering Uchihas.
Hinata took another bun from the tray. "Ino Yamanaka.", she said, taking a bit.
Kushina's smile dropped to a scowl. "Yamanka-san huh? Haven't seen him for a while. I don't think he has any boys that could interfere."
Hinata shrugged, not really listening. "N-No, not that I we of."
Kushina and Mikoto sighed in relief.
Mikoto leaned forward. "You know my son is also here right? Sasuke's been so stressed out and what not these days. He misses you d- "
"You know my son Naruto Uzumaki, right? The handsome, adorable man with the whisker cheeks who is always starring in those tech commercials and action movies? The one who is single and charming?" Kushina giggled."Did I mention single?"
Hinata blinked idly. "W-Well, y - "
Mikoto interrupted her. "Well my son has been voted the sexiest man in Japan four times in a row-!" That was disturbing.
"Until Naruto came along and swiped it from him!"
"That was two years ago, Kushina, and that was only because your son starred in a Lolita movie that year. Since then, Sasuke's been on top-!"
"Of other women? Yeah, you can say that again!"
Hinata looked between the red women and unconsciously scooted towards her uncle.
Madara smiled sheepishly at the meek girl. "So what brings you here to Paris?"
"I-I was invited to attend Mr. Elipope's B-Ball."
Madara raised his brows in recognition."You aren't representing Hyuuga are you?"
"Oh, no! Um, I-I came w-with one of my colleagues to represent Akatsuki and Sabaku."
"Sabaku and Akatsuki you say?", Madara smirked, concluded that she had said too much."You're involved with Akatsuki now?"
Before Hinata could answer, Kushina and Mikoto jumped in.
"NO NO NO NO! I won't have that!" screeched Mikoto to Hinata's shock.
"Neither will I.", said Kushina silently as she sipped her tea.
Hinata, seeing how the women were taking it, interjected into their thoughts. "I-I'm not seeing anyone. He's just a friend."
The Uchiha woman decided to change the conversation, particularly to her son. "Have you...spoken to Sasuke yet? He's very eager to see you."
Kushina snorted. "Yeah, and I'm dango."
"Well, you sure aren't sweet, are ya?" Mikoto ignored the woman and looked back at Hinata, who was squirming a little. "Madara and I are also going to Roman's ball. My husband wasn't able to attend due to trivial matters."
Kushina looked at Hinata with a blank look. "She's spying on her son and dragged Madara along to make it look like she was here for business."
Madara yawned and looked around. "Yeah, but I'm not in this."
Mikoto sighed. "Well what about you? You never ever go to events like these! Minato didn't drag you here."
Kushina pulled some hair behind her ear, trying to cover her twitching eye. "Minato decided that it was high time that I focus more on business rather than Naruto, so this seemed like a fair opportunity." Mikoto and Madara stared at her with a blank look. She soon cracked. "Ok, you caught me. I came here to speak with you, Hinata-chan."
Hinata was taken aback by her confession. Why would she want to speak to her? Was it about how her son and Uchiha were holding a woman hostage in Paris, a place that had different laws than Japan?
Mikoto sighed once again. "For the love of God, Kushina - she doesn't want Naruto!" She turned her Hinata, pushing back some of her ebony locks. " Isn't that right sweetie? Surely you prefer Sasuke instead? I'm sure that after your marriage counseling is over-"
Hinata stuttered. "W-What marriage counseling?"
Mikoto looked at her with innocent eyes. "Yes. Marriage counseling."
Hinata pouted at the woman and started to speak, but was cut off my the bipolar woman.
"Anyway, I'm sure that after your counseling session on Wednesday, you two will be able to straighten up the damage that my son has caused and get on to making me grand babies."
The red-haired woman grabbed a cinnamon bun and spoke. "It's going to take more than a little counseling to straighten Sasuke! My boy has manners and respects women."
"If they're wearing close to nothing with a bowl of ramen between their legs!"
"Ladies, please.", muttered Madara, trying to stop the women from causing a scene.
"STAY OUT OF THIS MADARA!", yelled both in unison. It went downhill from there.
Mikoto looked at the girl in front of her with serious eyes. "Look, I know that Sasuke hasn't been a good husband, but I can tell you still care about him..."
This isn't making any sense. Hinata sighed and looked at the pleading woman. "My feelings don't matter right now, Mikoto-san. S-Sasuke and I are getting a divorce."
"Mama." Mikoto corrected. "And no, you two are not getting a divorce."
The bluette shook her head. Were all Uchiha this demanding? "Yes we a-are. Our marriage was arranged, and I was lied to. He never loved me, Mrs. Uchiha." Mikoto cringed a little at the arranged marriage part. "I wouldn't want my marriage to be built off lies. I wouldn't w-want that for anyone."
Kushina soon spoke. "I'm sorry for all that has happened to you. Sasuke doesn't deserve you."
"They belong together!", half-yelled Mikoto. "Okay, I'll admit, I didn't really care for you before. I didn't even know your name until you came to the engagement party that night! The way you looked at Sasuke that night, with so much hurt in your eyes, I could see just how much you loved him. And I know that he loves you!"
Hinata was tired of this. Who was she to tell her how she felt about Sasuke? Did she know what he put her through? Sasuke wasn't perfect - and Hinata wasn't going to lie like he was.
The bluette slammed her hands on the table, startling the trio. "If Sasuke really loved me, then he wouldn't have left me for Sakura." Mikoto became silent. Hinata didn't have the heart to stop. "I'm divorcing Sasuke for several reasons - you, the Hyuuga Clan and the Uchiha clan are a few. This whole marriage was a lie that you and the clans set up! I'm tired of being lied to! I would rather be alone and dying than to have another lie thrown in my face again."
Mikoto stood and faced the angry girl. "In the beginning it was about the clans, and yes, I did agree to it. You shouldn't have your future taken away. I'm sorry for what I and the clans have caused you, and I'm sure Sasuke is sorry too. So why don't you just say that you love him too - "
Kushina stood and grabbed Mikoto's arm, trying to stop any fiery extent from coming out.
Hinata exploded. "I'm tired of people telling me what to do and what I feel! I don't love your son! Not anymore!" Hinata clenched her fists. "I HATE HIM!"...
The room went silent.
Mikoto looked at her wide eyed and fell back into her seat still staring at the girl.
Hinata stood still, processing what she had said to the woman. She suddenly felt bad about what she said then. This anger not only came from her marriage, but from her frustration for wanting to find Deidara's mother. Sasuke was always the evil guy in her life, always downing everyone.
"I-I" She felt a hand pat her back.
Madara looked down at her with an apologetic gaze. "It's okay, Hinata. That was overdue."
She had had enough. Hinata glanced at them in apology at them once more before running out of the dining area past the guests and servers. She couldn't handle it.
Mikoto stared blankly at the spot that the girl had left. "What did Sasuke do to her...?" She looked over at Kushina, who patted her on the back. "I want to know."
Kushina nodded.
Madara looked over at the entrance, spotting the small gang entering, crying women surrounding them. "Speak of the devil… He smirked then. "How about you ask him tonight?" Mikoto looked at his gesturing hand and saw Sasuke, nonchalantly entering into the dining hall with the others. Her eyes narrowed. "I will."
"I-I can't wear that!"
Sasori rolled his eyes and gently put the dress on the bed, ignoring the Hinata's protests. "You're supposed to catch your husband's attention, Hyuuga. This will have do."
Hinata stared at the disgrace laying on the bed. It was a beautiful white gown, of course. Everything on it was perfect. The diamonds that layered the breast part were perfect, the flowy bottom was perfect, even the little sems in the dress were perfectly designed. The only imperfection it had was that it was two sizes small, which meant that it would cling to the girl like it's life depended on it.
Hinata proceeded to nervously hop on one leg. Sasori backed away from her.
"What the hell are you doing?"
Hinata continued to jump, ignoring his stare. "I c-can't fit that - "
"Suck it up."
"I-I don't want to catch his attention looking like that! That's too tight. I'm going to look like a whore-!"
"Which is what you are." Sasori looked up at the clock. "You need to put on the dress. It's already 9:01. We need to be fashionably late, not miss the whole damn thing kind of late."
Seeing that she had no choice, she hopped on over to the dress and started to take off her clothing. Sasori only glanced at her once before turning around and dressing as well.
She hurriedly slide the dress over her hips, and grimaced when she felt the fabric tighten on her sides and chest. She hated that tight feeling, but had no choice. Tonight would be the night that they would save Anne-Sophie. The bluette didn't want to have her disagreements shatter the possibility of saving the woman.
Once the dress was on, Sasori went over and zipped the back, nodding in satisfaction. "See, it doesn't look bad at all. Makes me kinda want to-"
Hinata pushed his head away and went into the bathroom. She groaned when she saw that her hair was a little tangled, and started to brush it out quickly. There was nothing attractive about having tangled hair. Unless you were super attractive.
Sasori paused upon sight of her. "Um, Hyuuga?"
Hinata looked back at him. "U-Up or down?"
Sasori sighed and looked at the fidgeting girl. "Calm down. You look terrified."
"Up it is.", she muttered.
Sasori shook his head and watched as she put her hair up in a perfect bun using a couple of hairpins lying on the sink. The redhead then saw his work plastered on her neck.
"Um, Hyuuga, I think that you should wear it down."
Hinata smoothed down her bang and slid in her diamond earrings before grabbing the white suited sleeve of Sasori and pushing towards the door. "W-We don't have time, Sasori-san. W-We need to get to the Ball and so that we can stop Sasuke."
Sasori stopped her hand from pressing the elevator button and looked her in the eyes. "Hinata.."
Her eyes widened as she slowly turned towards him."Y-You know my name..."
Hazel-eyes softened into Lavender ones.
Sasori nodded. "Yes. Calm down. Everything is going to be okay. Anne-Sophie is not going to be killed tonight because we are going to save her. Okay?" His voice comforted her. He sounded confident.
She slowly took a breath.
Sasori smiled a bit and pressed the elevator button before going back to the topic at hand. "I went to visit Mondine, Deidara's father, and found out when the trade was going to happen." Hinata grabbed his hand. Sasori's eyes were blank. "It's going to happen at 11:00 tonight downtown."
This was really happening. Hinata nodded and looked forward. "D-Does he have the money?" Sasori shook his head. Hinata gripped his hand even tighter.
"I'm going to leave around 9:30 with Deidara to look around for their hideout." He looked at her with serious eyes. "I want you to distract Sasuke as long as you can, Hyuuga. The whole night would be wonderful ."
Hinata stared at him in disbelief of his words. A whole night? She grabbed his phone, motioning for her to put it in her purse. "B-But that's impossible! I-I can't d-do that-"
He grabbed her shoulders, stilling her in place. "You're going to have to do whatever it takes."
She knew what that had meant, but didn't want to think of it. She looked back at the now open elevators and walked through with Sasori, hand-in-hand. She didn't know what to think, everything was going so fast.
Her heart started to beat fast when she saw the ballroom approaching. Only a few steps and she would be in the action. She felt a coldness on her shoulder and looked to see it was a white shaw. She muttered a 'thank you' to the redhead. Two tall men dressed in elaborate suits nodded at the couple before opening the gigantic double glass doors. Sasori ushered her into the room, and soon, she was met with the eyes of the people. She smiled.
The mission was now in play.
