Not a very long chapter today, but I wanted to make sure to get it out and ending it where I did felt right.

And aaaaahhhh, the one year anniversary passed! That's super weird! I can't believe I've had this going for a whole dang year.

I wanted to post a chapter that day…buuut this chapter wasn't finished so that didn't happen…

Anyways, onto the reviews…

PK - SPRINGTRAP HUG MEH: Yes indeed!

s82161: I'm sorry I'm afraid I don't understand the context

TU4QU0I53T4IAN6L3: Indeed, what did happen? Leo is left wondering quite the same thing, and as for Joey? We'll have to see what's happened with her. And what did Fox do? Well, we shall have to see. As for how long Leo can keep the minds in his head? Well, he won't have a easy time doing it I can tell you that. And yes, this does mean we are headed to the Pizzeria stimulator. You did a very good job of capturing what I was trying to say. Leo is a very, very broken man and at this point in his life all he sees is the constant barrage of things beating him down. It won't be a easy path for him to take. But I am very glad you liked the way I did it, I was nervous about doing it because I never want the writing to feel whiny or overly emotional. So I'm very glad you liked it. And as for Freddy and them? Well read below and find out. ;)

Silverleone: Ah, don't worry it happens to the best of us. I'll respond in the order they are in. Yes, Leo is gonna need some serious help after this. And oh yeah, if I went through what he has…I'd be a absolute mess. (Chapt 53 review response…) More so split personality then the other one, and again, I'm not aiming to be accurate, this is afterall a story about undead rabbit killers so…I've allotted myself a little leeway. But basically Fox is a shield that Leo uses to protect himself, except this shield has a mouth. Due to what Leo went through, Fox was created to bare the brunt of a lot of what the little night-guard goes through. That's what I'm ing with in this. And yeah, I love the torment you can do to someone in the mind realm. Endless possibilities.

I own nothing but my characters and ideas.

Chapter 55
The Calm After the Storm

Leo didn't want to enter Freddy's.

He wasn't sure how Enix convinced him to come here, he wasn't sure what happened to Michael. But somehow, in some way, Leo was standing in front of the pizzeria. His knees shook under him, and he wasn't sure if it was from fear, or from something else.

But he was almost certain they wouldn't support him when he headed for the door.

If he headed for the door.

Leo did not want to go inside.

But Enix did, and the blue haired guy sure was trying to talk up the bots.

However, Enix had yet to explain what had happened, who had been controlling Leo, or why the guard had been repeatedly calling him by the name of 'Fox'.

"I'm not going in there Enix." Leo said, before grimacing at the shake of his voice as he spoke. His words effectively cut off Enix's rambling and for a moment the taller man just stared at him.

"…they won't hurt you Leo." He said softly, but Leo could only tense up and take a deep breath.

"Stop lying to me."

"They aren't, I swear, they all feel terrible about everything that happened." He stepped closer to the restaurant and looked back at him pleadingly.

Leo gazed at him, before his eyes flickered to the double glass doors of the children's pizzeria.

It felt like shadows were crawling from it, and Leo found himself sent back to the first time he entered this place after hours.

That night he had been sure he was going to die.

…now he could honestly say the same thing.

But knowing Enix wouldn't leave him be otherwise, Leo took a hard breath, curled his hands into fists, and took steps toward the pizzeria.

So many parts of his being screamed at him to turn around, leave and never return. This was a trap and he should know better. Finally they wanted to finish him off.

Yet, Leo still entered the pizzeria, well aware of Enix following behind to make sure he didn't bolt.

However, the previous guard nearly did when he walked in and found none-other then his nightly tormentors.

Blood rushed to his head, and he stumbled back starting to hyperventilate at the sight of them, but Enix planted firm hands on his shoulders.

"They aren't going to hurt you." He reassured, but all Leo could hear was their booming and mocking laughter, the feeling of their teeth piercing flesh and bone.

He wanted to scream…wanted to cry, run and hide.

But his legs were frozen, and he had no choice but to face the monsters hiding in his closet.

Especially when none other then Bonnie lifted his head and spotted him.

However, before the monstrous hare could speak, Ashford suddenly came from the hallway and gasped.

"Enix! You found him!" He claimed and came over, Leo couldn't help but take note of the scar at his ear.

Had he had that before?

"Yeah, getting him back here was a pain in the butt." Enix muttered, and Leo winced a bit. The taller man seemed to feel this and blink in realization. "Not that you are a pain of course Leo." He said insistently, and Leo jumped a bit in surprise and looked back at him confused.

"Good! I thought he had run off to start a gang or something…" Ashford muttered, pulling Leo's attention back to him.

"A gang…?" He asked, feeling confused and lost once more. However, at his words and furrowed brow, Ashford slowed to a stop with a frown.

"…you aren't Fox are you…?" He asked cautiously, and Leo couldn't help but let out a huff of breath.

"No! Who the ***l is Fox!?" He demanded, fed up with this mysterious person already.

Ashford blinked and opened his mouth, but Enix cut him off, "…guys…this is Leo." He explained pointedly, and Leo stared incredulously at all of their shocked and surprised looks.

"Leo…?" Chica asked, but when he caught her gaze he flinched, feeling pain in his head once again.

"Y…yeah…who else would it be…?" He asked in a stammer, eyes on the ground as he curled around himself and his wound.

"Leo!" Ashford cried before embracing the deeply confused man, "****it! Don't ever disappear again! Fox is terrible!" He cried, and Leo held out his arms awkwardly before pausing and patting him on the back awkwardly.

"I uh…won't…?" He asked, but tensed at the sight of the monster Freddy rising to his feet.

"Leo…we are-"

"We're so sorry Leo!" Chica cried getting to her feet as well, Leo flinched and held his breath as Ashford released him and stepped back quietly.

Foxy got up and came around the table, and it looked like he was struggling to keep his tongue inside his jaws.

Leo backed up at the sight of all of them feeling light headed, "s…stop…stop." He ordered shakily, hugging himself before raising his arms and holding his head taking deep and hard breaths. His world was swimming around him, pain came in flashes throughout his body and his heart hammered in his chest, pounding like an insistent drum in his ears.

It seems they did indeed stop, as he no longer heard animatronic footsteps.

"Leo…?" Chica asked hesitantly, but Leo shook his head heaving for breath.

Their voices…***k their voices even sounded like they did on those horrible nights.

"…w…why…***k…why…" he whimpered heaving for breath, "***k what did I do…?" He whimpered helplessly, there was silence as he slowly lowered to his knees heaving for breath. "I'm sorry! Okay!? I'm sorry I b…befriended William! I didn't know! I didn't know it was the murderer! I'm sorry I'm difficult! I…I…I don't know how else to be! P…please! I'm sorry!" He begged, eyes wide as he stared at the ground, holding his head and heaving for breath.

There was silence for a few moments, and he tensed up at the sound of animatronic footsteps, a soft whimper escaped his lips. This was it…they were going to kill him…it had been a trap it had-

Something large and fuzzy was placed on his head and Leo tensed up trembling and shuddering with each breath.

"It…it wasn't your fault Leo." Bonnie whispered, his thumb joint lightly brushing over Leo's hair, the guard opened his mouth to speak but was cut off as Bonnie continued. "It was us…it was the children. They should have told us…and I should've never hurt you. Under any circumstances." His voice, despite it's gravelly pitch, was someone apologetic, sad even.

Leo wasn't sure he should lift his head, he wasn't sure what was happening, but he lowered his hands and slowly lifted his head and gaze all the same.

The nightmarish face made him tense, and avert his eyes quickly before his breath hitched, "I…I didn't mean…I didn't know…if…if I had known…I never would've-" but once again he was cut off wordlessly by Bonnie grasping his head in both hands and guiding him to look at him.

Leo tensed up at the contact but complied.

"That's right. You didn't know. You wanted to help him. You had no idea he was going to trick you. All you wanted to do was do the best by him." He said softly, and Leo's vision grew blurry as his breath hitched repeatedly.

"I…"

"You did what you could under the circumstances of the situation. We were wrong, I was wrong." He took a mocked breath and looked down at himself, "…all this time. You were right. I suppose it took being forced into these forms for me to realize…we aren't as innocent as we had hoped we were. We could've done something, done something to stop William. We could've stopped the killings. The assinations of the guards…we could've stopped…but we didn't…and you were right, we are no different from the man who started it…" he trailed off softly.

Leo couldn't exactly believe what he was hearing.

"W…what…?" He asked breathlessly, Bonnie let out a mocked breath and looked to the side.

"What I'm saying is…I'm sorry…we're sorry. We…hurt you…I hit you…and it was wrong." That was said as he turned to look at him again.

Leo sat there unsure of what to do, and then took a hard breath and looked down, "Acid…he said you wanted to hurt me…that's why you wanted to be in these suits." He whispered hoarsely.

"What?" Bonnie asked ears pulled back, before he then huffed, causing Leo to tense up again. "That wretched man. He came with Joey to do repairs after William took you…and I supppose he removed and took our chips…"

"Because the next thing we knew we were in different bodies." Foxy supplied the rest, and Leo looked over to him before swallowing.

"We never wanted to hurt you Leo…something in the programming forced us too…" Chica whispered, and Leo glanced up at her before shuffling in his spot.

"I…I want to believe you all…I really do…" he rubbed his head and took a breath, "I just…so many things have happened…I…"

"You need a breather?" Enix asked from behind him, Leo looked back at him and nodded, clenching his shaking hands.

Enix nodded in return and came over, gently helping him to his feet.

"I'll take you to the office, we even got a new chair in." He declared cheerfully, but Leo frowned a bit at his words.

"New chair? What happened to my old one?" But at that Enix opened his mouth and then closed it again taking a breath and looking to the side.

"…it's a long story."

Sensing it wasn't the time to pry, Leo took a breath and paused as they entered the office. He lifted his head to Enix and bit his lip.

"Enix…where's Joey?" She had been acting so strange…

Enix's face fell and he took a deep breath suddenly looking years older and much more stressed and tired.

"She's…in the hospital…has been for the past two and a half months."

The original four watched Enix take Leo back to the office and Bonnie rose to his feet with a mocked breath.

"You guys felt it too right?" Freddy asked quietly, both Chica and Foxy nodded as Bonnie gazed down at his hand and closed it into a fist.

"We need to get out of these cursed bodies…" he glanced back at his follow animatronics, "before they do something to him."

"W…we can't let them hurt him anymore." Chica cried, and Foxy nodded, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Aye, the lad can barely be in our presence without running in terror. If something happens, it could spell the end to any hopes of a relationship with him." The pirate claimed softly.

"We can't do anything until Joey wakes up. Colt doesn't know head or high tails of what to do with the chips." At Freddy's words the others nodded in agreement.

"We need to fix this. We need to fix things between Leo." Bonnie claimed with a hard breath, the other three nodded to themselves. The hare then turned to look at them and mocked a breath. "Even if it means starting from square one."

After Michael had slipped away during Enix and Leo's reunion. He found himself wandering around the small town, unwilling to go home just yet.

His new roommate was...fine, Spring Bonnie was nice, polite, and he seemed to genuinely want to help Michael.

But he was also someone who had been silenced for over a decade...silent and forced to listen to the rambles and thoughts of Michael's psychotic father.

So, he liked to dump information on the young Afton. It's like he was practically bursting at the seams, needing to tell someone about the horrors he had witnessed and heard.

But Michael didn't want to hear what his father had spoken or thought about in his crazed state.

And despite how strange it may seem, Spring Bonnie was also very much of a mother hen, always around Michael, making sure he wasn't hurting.

It wasn't bad, but it weirded Michael out a bit.

He had been so used to independently taking care of himself that the concept of someone else doing it was odd...not unwelcome, but odd.

In a strange way, and one of the primary reasons Michael concluded he needed space was the fact that every time he saw the tan rabbit, Michael thought of his father.

Or rather, the ideal picture that he had believed his father was.

Now Michael was no therapist, but he knew that something like that was not good for him.

It didn't help that for a good portion of his childhood, he had witnessed his father preforming in that suit.

But along with the uncomfortable association. Michael found that sometimes it was difficult to look at Spring Bonnie

After the rabbit had explained everything…in a bit too much detail…

Michael found it difficult to gaze upon the bot that intentionally or not, committed such atrocities…such horrors.

The young Afton couldn't help but wonder what it must've felt like…to be those kids. Lured away by someone they looked up to, only to find that they were not what they seemed…

The terror as their hero turned into a monster before their eyes.

Michael had been naive. He never thought his father would be capable of such actions, but he couldn't ignore the truth.

His father had been a murderer.

His sister was dead.

His mother had been missing for years.

And his brother wanted to kill him.

That last one had been brutally conveyed to him, and his body still bore visible reminders of it.

With a shudder and pulling his coat closer to him, Michael glanced around. He had wandered around until he found himself standing before none other than his childhood home.

Somehow while his thoughts had been consumed, he had found himself following the familiar path home.

His bones and insides ached at the sight of the place before him.

Yet as he gazed at it, Michael bit his lip and stole a breath.

Despite his reservations, he found himself wanting to go inside, wanting to see the place where he had been fooled and lied to for his entire childhood.

So, Michael took a step forward.

Only to yelp and jump at the sound of his phone going off.

Once realizing it was only his phone, Michael let out a hard breath, closing his eyes and then pulling out his phone. It must be Spring.

But it wasn't.

It was a number he didn't recognize, and his first instinct was to decline and forget about it.

But Michael didn't do that.

He gazed at the unknown number, and without quite knowing why he answered the phone.

"Hello?" He asked cautiously, still not sure why he answered.

"Hello? Is this Michael? Michael Afton?" The name drop made Michael tense up as he held the phone a bit tighter.

"Yeah. This is Michael. Whose asking?"

"Ah! Good! I was worried that this was the wrong number." There was a pause, "anyways, Michael…this is Henry, Henry Emily? I don't know if you remember me…but I wanted to call you because I've been working on a project I want you to be involved in."

Bit more of a filler then usual, but I hope you guys like it!

Do you think the bots will be able to rebuild things with Leo? Or is their relationship too far gone? Why is Joey in the hospital? What project was Henry talking about? Will Michael take up the offer?

Annnnd bonus question(s?)

So, I've been thinking a lot about my fanfics and stuff like that, and well I have a character that I've been working a lot on recently, and he is a main character type person. This is a weird way of asking, would y'all be interested in seeing stuff from other fandoms from me? Like, I have a bunch of ocs and such, but like, not all of them fit in FNAF. Well, I was just wondering if any of you guys would be interested in seeing a fic of another fandom and stuff. But if like you are only here for FNAF totally fine, just figured I'd ask ya know?

Anyways, love to hear what you think!

Thanks for the support as always.
