HELLO
It was brought up that there are errors in my story, I try as hard as I can to keep track of everything but it isn't easy. I really push myself to write and update the stories but with school, work, and family it's hard.
If I make a really bad error please feel free to message me. I respond to all my messages within a 24 hour period (It's easier than writing stories so trust me I do). And I'll happily fix it. I love my reviewers because you guys keep me on track, I would have left the story a long time ago if it wasn't for you guys. We are nearing the end of the story, maybe two or three more chapters left. I hope to finish it real soon for you guys. Thank you for staying with me through it all.
I hope I don't disappoint with this one, give me your feedback so I can make the next chapter thrilling for you!
Chapter 15: Enter Koga Tilaka
"Mr. Logat, what a pleasure to see you so soon! I thought we weren't expecting you until Christmas." Maddy said with a heavy expression and light words, the fake emotions flowing off her like a waterfall.
"Maddy my god, is that you? It's been so many years since I've seen you. Inuyasha has treated you well hasn't he?" The beast like man answered, with teeth as sharp as a wolf. He gritted them and gave a sincere smile, while his hands reached out to brush her hair. "And you grew out your hair."
"You noticed!" She said with excitement, her heart secretly aching in the pit of her chest.
"Of course I did, I never forget a slave." He said with a devilish wink. Maddy's fake smile stayed plastered on her face though, as well did her happy go lucky attitude.
"Should I bring you to Mr. Inuyasha or would you prefer a drink first?" She asked.
"Oh Maddy you spoil me. No I'm quite alright." He said taking his top hat from his head, wiping at the sides. His slick black hair was pulled back into a pony tail, his body modelled a black leather suit like the manikins at the department store, something that most girls would squeal over. But if they knew Mr. Logat well, then they know to stay away.
Maddy nodded swiftly, her eyes shining with hatred masked by infatuation. If you are smart, you'll always look at Mr. Logat like that. If your even smarter you'll compliment him at least once when he arrives and twice when he leaves. "Right this way sir!" She announced with pleasure as she swung her arm out in the direction of Inuyasha's office. Mr. Logat smiled, giving a nod to the girl as he strolled passed her.
"Oh and Maddy, good job with your inspection." He said in a soft tone, his eyes meeting hers. "You always were my favorite." He said with a smile, before clicking the office door shut behind him.
"Ah Kaiak, what a pleasure." Inuyasha said, his arms coming up from under his desk to shake Kaiak's hand.
"Hmm what's this about Inuyasha, you called me pretty abruptly out of no where." Kaiak said as he tossed his hat onto the desk. Inuyasha didn't flinch like Kaiak had wished he would, but he shouldn't expect fear from someone on the same level as him. "And don't call me Kaiak, that name is starting to grow weary on me now. May be time for another change, feds are catching on ya know?"
"What were you thinking then? New name new place?" Inuyasha asked.
"Oh no, the place is full proof. No one would expect and underground slave trade to rest solely underneath a shopping mall in a deserted area. And new maybe not so much, I was thinking resurrecting. Maybe going back to an old name." Kaiak said, his hand coming up to scratch his chin.
Inuyasha's blood was flaring in his veins, he tried to will his inner demons not to kill the man before him. If he wouldn't control them for his sake he'd have to for Kagome. He has no choice! He can only hope Miroku and Sesshomaru have reached the slave trade already. He sighed and prayed silently in his head that everything would go alright. "So what name would you like to 'resurrect'."
"I was thinking Koga Talaka." He smirked. "Can't believe how stupid cops are sometimes. They could've decoded the simple name years ago and would have caught me. But then again I am the smarter breed. But none the less, I am Koga Talaka. How ravishing huh? Kaiak Ima Logat - I am Koga Talaka? Brilliant even for myself." He boasted.
"It certainly was a smart idea." Inuyasha said.
"But you didn't bring me here to discuss my smart ideas. You want to talk about your pet right? Your playmate? Oh what is it, Kyugi? Kiki? Kogeme?"
"Kagome." Inuyasha seethed.
"Ah yes Kagome. Kagome Higurashi. I remember her, oh too well. Was that really the slave we gave you? I could have sworn it was a different one. Anyway Inuyasha what is this all about? Are you displeased? I can have an exchange arranged for a new slave." Koga said with a smirk.
"No, truly I don't want her or another slave." Inuyasha said.
"Oh really now? What do you want then?" Koga asked with slight amusement.
"Really I just want to know about her back ground. Why she was targeted, who she was, things like that." Inuyasha said.
"And why is that?" Koga asked, his eye brow raised and his glare cold.
"She was so much trouble, I can't understand why. I would like to." Inuyasha said.
"Understandable, Well Inuyasha you are my most trusted partner. I was shocked to hear this slave had been returned while under your control. But we all make mistakes. I'm sure if I had some, well...they'd probably be dead." He said with a chuckle. "We all know I am a beast. Rough is my way of life, but anyway Kagome Kagome Kagome. Hmmm that girl. She was a piece of work. Anyway she was targeted by a man named Naraku, maybe you have heard of him? Well this man just targets many girls. Actually he didn't only target Kagome, but her mother as well. How ever Mrs. Higurashi got away and died some time later. Tragic, must have been of a broken heart after losing her daughter. How terrible, could you ever imagine? Ah anyway, Kagome was brought in, sedated, the whole works. But she kept waking up during her sedation. We couldn't even finish our whole exam. How odd huh? She was a fighter no doubt, that's why we had to put her in one of the lock down rooms. Man was she quiet in there, usually the girls are terrible sluts and fuck for food. Or cry and whine till their beaten to death. But this one just stayed quiet. Guards came to me saying they had bad feelings about her, like maybe she was a spy or something. But I knew better, she was just a broken spirit. Sad none of our guards ever got to taste her. I bet had they licked her and fucked her the right way she would have been like the others. Isn't that right Inuyasha? You know these women are just so much fun. Watching them squirm and cry beneath us, it's like a toy! The power and adrenaline! You should really try working the hallways one day! You'd be a natural, take one, two, even three at a time! How ever long you want! And when your done you give them half a piece of bread and they love you! Treat you like a god! But don't get too excited, we don't want any 'accidents'. One of our guards got a girl pregnant the other day, poor girl. Terminated without a trial. As for the guard, he went right back to fucking the others. They never get bored of it." Koga said with a sweet sigh as he relaxed in his chair, the sick sweat coming off of his face. His smile wide and cynical.
"Yeah well...as pleasing as that sounds I'm fine." Inuyasha murmured, the anger inside of him ready to burst.
"Ah yes I forgot your engaged to Ms. Kikyo right?" Koga asked.
"Not anymore, she left." Inuyasha said.
"Did she really now?" Koga asked with a small smile, the laughter in his eyes dancing on the sides of Inuyasha's emotions.
"Yes. She did." Inuyasha said with a piercing tongue.
Koga sighed "Inuyasha I apologize. Friends should support each other. Should we target her?"
"No. It's fine." Inuyasha said with a burning glare.
"Well. Inuyasha if this is all." Koga said as he got up from his chair.
"What's the rush Koga? Something in your precious slave trade calling you? I thought as friends we could enjoy a football game on tv, or even check out the new cars in the motorsport raceways." Inuyasha said matching Koga's position, walking over to meet him on the other side of the desk.
"Inuyasha, friend, the slave trade is always calling me." Koga said, "especially when threatened."
"Who is threatening it?" Inuyasha asked, raising one brow as if to enhance his innocene. .
Koga's smile faded into a thin line, his teeth grinding against each other as he straightened his posture. "Let's not play dumb here Inuyasha. We all know both of us make a genius pair."
"Of course we do." Inuyasha said, his hands moving to his pockets as he flexed his muscles.
"And as we all know you're always two steps ahead of the game." Koga said.
"Very true." Inuyasha replied, his tone darkening.
Just as the tension swept up into the room, Koga's swift arm pulled a needle from within his suit pocket and logged the serum into Inuyasha's neck. He stood tall for a few seconds with wide eyes, before falling like a dead weight to the floor. Koga smiled and grabbed his top hat from the desk, placing it on top of his head.
"But dear Inuyasha you don't seem to realize" He said bending down to the sleeping man, pulling the needle from his neck. "I have already won the game."
"Alright Sesshomaru so what's the plan?" Miroku asked jogging up along side him.
"Get inside and start a riot, wait for the signal that Inuyasha arrived, save Kagome, put an end to this slave trade." Sesshomaru said, reaching into his duffle bag.
"Sounds like a lot of work, don't tell Sango I became apart of your demon mafia." Miroku teased.
"That's offensive." Sesshomaru said.
"Yeah well I'll be looking offensive when half of my body is mutilated." Miroku replied, the hairs on his skin rising with fear. "What's the chances of death on this mission?"
"Pretty high for a human, I'd say your chances of living are worse than winning the lottery." Sesshomaru muttered before shoving a 45 magnum into Miroku's arms.
"I've never fired a gun before." Miroku said.
"Sounds like you'll do fine to me." Sesshomaru said.
"If you say so. So what do we do now Sesshy?" Miroku asked.
"What did you just call me?" Sesshomaru snapped, his head turning to face Miroku with a crooked and twisted smile.
"Sesshy weshy are you angry?" Miroku said in a baby voiced tone.
"I swear to god.."
"Don't swear to god it's bad sessheruuuuu."
"Shut up."
"Sesshy bunny?"
"Stop it."
"Sesshiki!"
"No."
"Seshugoo?"
"Please stop."
"Awe Sesshy bunny don't be that way!"
"Can you ever keep a serious moment serious?" Sesshomaru asked. Miroku opened his mouth to answer but sunk back against the wall instead, a frown forming at the edges of his lips. "Good." Sesshomaru said, "Now come on we have to get this done before the sun begins to set, half of these guys have the best night vision in the world."
"Right.." Miroku said, a rock coming to rest in the middle of his throat. He dug his hand into the bag hanging off of his shoulder, his nerves getting the best of him. "Sesshomaru...what happens if this doesn't work?"
Sesshomaru's lips pulled into a tight line, a sigh escaping him. "We better hope we have our coffins picked out."
"Kagome...Kagome wake up..."
Kagome mumbled, her hand coming up to rub her eyes. "Not now..."
"Kagome you have to wake up..."
"Why?!" Kagome spoke harshly, her legs twitching underneath her blanket.
"Because they're coming to kill you.."
"What?!" Kagome yelled as she shot up in her spot. She looked around the dark room only to realize it was only her sitting inside. It was a cold and damp small room, with cement lined walls.
Well except for the little wooden on the roof, approximately 15 feet high.
"What...what's happening" She stuttered "What...where am i?"
"You're in the chamber 19 holding cell Kagome." A voice boomed on the loud speaker. "Can I get you something to make you more comfortable?"
Kagome remained silent, her heart dropping to rest on the floor beside her. The women behind the loud speaker waited for her response, to no avail.
"Kagome, tell is about model 110." The women asked.
"I don't know a person by that identification number...I don't know anyone by their identification numbers!" Kagome yelled, her arms flying up into the air. "Because they are people! Not some kind of box you put a bar code on! You're a bunch of monsters you know that! And if you wan't to kill me then fine do it!" Kagome screamed.
"We don't want to kill you."
"Then what do you want?" She begged, tears being choked back by anger that yearned to kill those she could not see.
"We just want you to tell us who these people are."
"I told you I don't know!" She screamed.
"Model 45?"
"No..."
"Model 309?"
"I don't know her either..."
"Model 21? 65? 867? 1002?"
"Why are you asking me?! I don't know any of these people!" Kagome screamed.
"Well they died exactly where you're sitting right now Kagome. From starvation, disease, hell one even went crazy. Bashed her skull in against the wall begging for us to free her."
Her throat burned against the air as she breathed, her head pressed against her trembling knees. "No...no this can't be happening..."
"Of course it is happening Kagome."
"Why are you telling me this? Who were those people? Why am I here?!" She cried.
"Kagome your-"
"MRS. KIKYO! MRS. KIKYO! THERES BEEN A BREACH IN THE SOUTH WEST CORRIDOR!" A deep voice called from with in the room the mystery speaker was. He sounded like one of the guards Kagome had associated with once, a man named Bryan. One of the guards who tried to take advantage of Kagome, before Ganet had saved her.
"Kikyo..." Kagome whispered, her hand coming up cover her mouth.
"Alright ALRIGHT JUST CALM DOWN!" Kikyo yelled. "CALL KOGA, GET HIM OUT HERE NOW! WHO BREACHED US?"
"A DEMON MRS. KIKYO, HE SLAUGHTERED SOME GUARDS, AND NOW THE WOMEN HE SET FREE ARE HELPING HIM FIGHT!"
"AND YOU GUYS CAN'T STOP A FEW WOMEN?! AREN'T YOU MEN! DEMONS! KILLERS!" Kikyo yelled, the anger in her voice pulsing over the microphone.
"Mrs. Kikyo we are trying! But somehow they are over powering us, they won't die!"
"Well we'll see about that." She said, the sound of footsteps echoing out of the microphone. Silence fell over the room for a few moments, allowing Kagome's anxiety to flourish.
"It has to be him, Inuyasha, he's come for me. Inuyasha's come to save me.." Kagome smiled.
