Chapter 16: Torture and Tall Tails
"What do you mean you saw Inuyasha!" Sesshomaru yelled to Miroku as he swung a guard over his body and onto his back. "He isn't suppose to be here!"
"He was I swear! They pulled him out of some black van and wheeled him into the building! I don't know what happened but he wasn't well Sesshomaru! I think they poisoned him!" Miroku yelled as he whipped himself around, his back pressed against Sesshomaru's.
"This ruins the whole plan!" Sesshomaru yelled, his body tenses as he faced three armed guards. He heard to gunshots coming from Miroku's gun, the wildfire sure enough would attract more guards soon.
"What are we going to do?!" Miroku asked.
Sesshomaru though for a moment, his hand lunging out to tear through one of the guards necks as he kept his body stable. "I can't think with all of this!" He growled as his eyes turned into the color of blood, his veins popping out of his muscles so profusely the guards couldn't help but quiver.
"Hold on!" Miroku yelled, "I think I have an idea!" He looked back at Sesshomaru, who was covered in the blood of the three guards that had fallen before him. Their mangled bodies resting on top of each other as he towered over them.
"Sesshomaru!" Miroku yelled "You have to keep yourself together!"
Sesshomaru yanked his head back to stare at Miroku, the anger surging through out his body.
"Do it for Rin!" Miroku yelled, his words piercing the air like a knife cutting into Sesshomaru's chest. Sesshomaru's eyes flickered and his body started to relax. Miroku turned back around just in time to fire a bullet into the head of another guard, giving Sesshomaru the second he needed to see their next move.
"Miroku fire at the ceiling!" He yelled as he jumped over Miroku to fight the on coming guards.
"What! Why would I-" He yelled as his head turned up to look at the ceiling, an air vent hanging over him. "Alright I got it!" He said with his gun aimed up at the vent, he shot the latch holding the vent in but missed causing the whole door to fall. "Shit how am I suppose to get in now?!"
"Hold on!" Sesshomaru yelled as he jumped next to Miroku, his arm wrapping around Miroku's waist before he lunged them both up into the air. Sesshomaru winced as his leg came to scrape against the box shape opening, both of them flailing into the vent with a heavy force.
"Oh how romantic that was Sessh.." Miroku stopped, his eyes coming to rest on the blood seeping from Sesshomaru's leg.
"Calm down, I could be more romantic." Sesshomaru said, his hand brushing the blood off. For a moment a cut was there, but in the next it had healed as if nothing had happened.
"Glad to know that only one of us could die." Miroku muttered, pushing himself down the air vent a bit to give Sesshomaru room.
"They went up into the air vent!"
"What do we do?!"
"We have to follow them, quick get me a map!"
"We better move." Sesshomaru said, putting himself on his knees to crawl behind Miroku.
"Wait..." Miroku said.
"Why?" Sesshomaru asked, but Miroku only waved his hands up to silence him. "Tell me what is happening!"
"Look.." Miroku said as he pointed towards a small rectangular vent on the side of the metal wall. Inside Sesshomaru looked to see four cement walls, and in the middle of the floor a small crying girl with long black hair.
"It's...Sango.."
"Get up." A female voiced called from the outside world to Kagome, who was fast asleep on the floor.
"I said get up!" The voice barked, a sharp pain following it in Kagome's side.
"What!?" Kagome yelped as her eyes shot open, the pain echoing out her body.
"Well there you are." The woman spoke, her body towering over the cowering girl. Kagome winced at the bright light above her, looking up at this evil creature.
"Kikyo.." She seethed through gritted teeth.
"Kagome Kagome Kagome, Oh the trouble you have caused me." She smiled, her heels clanking against the floor as she stepped around her.
"The trouble I've caused you?! What about the trouble you've caused me!?" She yelled bringing her body up only to be kicked back down by Kikyo, her heel digging into the side of her body.
"Ow! Stop that! It hurts!" Kikyo mocked. "Please Kikyo no!" She smirked, her hands coming down to grasp Kagome's hair, yanking her face upwards. "Yes you've caused me quite the trouble. With ruining my engagement and all."
"You left!" Kagome coughed as her hand came up to wipe her mouth.
"That doesn't mean you meddle in my business, fuck my future husband, and have the audacity to bare his child." Kikyo spat.
"Wh...what..." Kagome stuttered as she came to look up at Kikyo.
"Oh yes Kagome, you heard me. You're pregnant, at least for now. Don't worry we will take care of that for you. And once Inuyasha is all back to being himself he won't care to find you. Hell he won't even remember you, isn't it glorious?" Kikyo smiled to herself with pride once more before jamming her hell into the crevice between Kagome's fingers, breaking her index finger.
"Ah!" Kagome cried as she clutched her throbbing hand. "I didn't know! Why are you punishing me! You left!"
"Only because you forced me too. Inuyasha wasn't paying any attention to me, because he was so intent on drowning himself in you. He forced me to get a man on the side, I was in so much pain. I didn't want to cheat but how could I not? Naraku was there, and Inuyasha never knew so what harm did it cause? But then I left and he didn't chase after me and why was that?" She asked her body bending so her face was inches from Kagome's.
"Because he was too busy fucking a little skank like you in the shower. So busy with it he forgot to protect himself, and now he has given you a bastard. Who we will gladly take off of your hands in the next few days. Once preparations are met of course, wouldn't want you to die in the process. I am not done making you suffer."
"Please..Kill me when it's over...just don't take my baby...I will work! I will do anything! Just let my baby live..." Kagome pleaded.
"An honorable offer but let me tell you something first. Once upon a time there was a king with many servants. The servants would often make love to the king, their naked body pressed against each other in the way that only husband and wife would be. But how could a king resist servants with large naked breasts, sprawled over their bed? Their legs spread wide with anticipation, none of them thought anything would come of it. They would fuck day in and day out, the queen would never know. But one day the queen caught the man, his pants shamefully wrapped around his ankles with this servant bouncing on his thighs. He had the nerve to ask the queen to join them, and wanting to please her husband she did. So here he is, this king with an ego as big as his kingdom, with a beautiful wife sucking his cock one moment and ravishing servant fucking it the next. Everything seemed great for him right?" She paused.
Kagome stared up at her with a confused expression, but Kikyo only smirked and continued.
"Yes everything was great. Every day a new pair of young titties would bounce into his room and no one cared. Until the queen started sleeping with the gardener. The king found out and had her executed. Now can I ask why is that fair?"
Kagome shook her head.
"Because Kagome, miss Innocent, the queen wanted love. But the king wanted something to fuck, when the queen got love from someone else he got jealous. And because he was a man he got to do what ever he wanted. Woman are sluts when they sleep with one two men, but men are awesome when they sleep with 4 women at once. Double standard."
"So according to the old days, I would be executed. But the king didn't count on something." She said as she brought her finger to rest under Kagome's chin.
"Most of his servants became pregnant, and they were killed to hide the bastard. The queen never knew. The difference between then and now is Inuyasha didn't know I was cheating, and I know your pregnant. So in order to make things right, I will kill the servant."
"You know that is a pretty sick way of looking at it right?" Kagome said.
"Perhaps." Kikyo said as she flicked Kagomes chin to the side, before walking over to the door. "But all that matters is that you'll be dead, and the queen will always be on top."
"Sango." Miroku whispered through the vent "Sango wake up!"
"Shes unconscious Miroku...theres no use.." Sesshomaru said.
"Well what should we do.." Miroku said.
"Hold on." Sesshomaru replied as he propped his legs up against the wall behind them. He took a deep breathe and then with all his strength lunged himself at the wall with a force big enough to crash through it, his body falling just a few inches in front of Sango's.
Miroku climbed out of the hole, slowly moving over to Sesshomaru who was already half way on his feet. "You okay?" He asked, Sesshomaru grunted and nodded his head prompting Miroku to turn to look at Sango.
"Sango.." He said, slowly moving over to her. "Sango please.." He pressed his fingers to the crevice of her neck, relieved when he felt the small faint pulse of her heart. "Sango please...I love you...don't leave me..." He cried as he pressed his lips against hers, the salty tears coming down to meet them.
Sesshomaru came over to them, his hand grabbing her wrist. He turned it over, looking at her veins which were a pulsing bright purple. "She's been poisoned.."
"With what!" Miroku said as he yanked his lips away from hers, his eyes welling up with tears.
"I don't know...but I can get the venon out if it hasn't been in her blood stream for too long." He said bringing her wrist up to his mouth, he sunk his teeth delicately into her skin, sucking for a few minutes as the sour liquid poured into his mouth. After a few moments he dropped her wrist to her side, sighing. "Tastes disgusting."
"How will we know if this worked..." Miroku asked.
"We won't know for sure unless she wakes up, and she may not wake up for a while...who knows if we even stopped it in time.."
"Don't say things like that!" Miroku shouted.
"It's true, I'm not a doctor!" Sesshomaru replied.
Miroku opened his mouth to speak, but shut it once a horrifying thought crossed his mind. "Sesshomaru...Inuyasha might have been poisoned..."
Sesshomaru's head jerked up to look at Miroku with wide eyes.
"And if they got Sango...they could have also got.."
"Rin.." Sesshomaru said, the fear clumping up in the back of his neck.
"We have to get out of here.." Miroku said.
"Yeah...yeah we do..." Sesshomaru said looking back up at the vent. "Where do you think those go?"
"I can tell you.." A voice called from the door way, they hadn't even realized they had been watched this whole time. As the two men circled around to meet their ease dropper, a sense of relief came over them.
"Jinkotsu..." Sesshomaru muttered.
"I was waiting for you guys to arrive. Inuyasha didn't say you'd make it so obvious you were coming though."
"You were in on this?!" Miroku asked.
"Of course, who do you think sent the guard to warn Mrs. Kikyo of your arrival so she would send the guards in a haste to attack you, allowing the other slaves to be freed by muah?" He said with a smirk.
"Kikyo is here? What?" Miroku asked.
"Jeez you sound new. You think Inuyasha didn't know that Kikyo was cheating and called in the inspection? He's had this all planned out. Even his capture."
"His capture? Cheating? I'm so confused!" Miroku shouted, but Sesshomaru only shook his head.
"We had a meeting to discuss it all, remember when you slept in?"
"I always sleep in Sesshomaru." Miroku pointed out.
"Which is exactly why your the bait for this mission." Jinkotsu smiled.
"I'm the what?!" Miroku yelled.
"Mmmm.. uh..." Sango moaned behind them.
"She's awake!" Miroku said as he lunged at her, but Sesshomaru caught him before he could hug her.
"Calm down, she could be injured. And she only moaned. Jinkotsu is.."
"Rin here? No. I was able to warn her before anything happened, however Sango was taken while she was on a run with your gardener at the supermarket. Rin is at the safe house." He said.
Sesshomaru sighed with relief, "So now what do we do?"
"You take this," Jinkotsu said as he tossed his a map towards Sesshomaru "take the blue routes, they'll get you to the A blocks where Inuyasha is. I have some trouble to stir up."
"Good luck Jinkotsu." Miroku said.
"Yeah you too, Mr. Bait." He replied.
"Seriously?" Miroku said looking at Sesshomaru. "How am I the bait?"
"You'll see."
