Davie Wilson: I'm glad you did!
TU4QU0I53T4IAN6L3: I'm glad you liked the chapter! Yeah, when Silverleone proposed the idea, I figured that it would be a good time to do it, cause stuff coming up…? Well…but anyways, as for Piper and Leo…am I hinting at something? Am I not? We shall have to see…as for Foxy and Bonnie…hm, I might just draw something like that! But I'd be down if someone else wanted to as well! And as for passerby's? They went to a private area of the beach.
Silverleone: Well I thank you for that inspiration! Which leads me to say, I do take what you guys say in mind! Obviously I have things planned out, and certain things have to happen, but just know I do pay attention to what you guys say. And hehe, perhaps he does! As for Fox and William? Yes, William seems to be ahead right now, we shall see if he can keep that. Yeah, the bots are not going to be fun to clean…as for the nightmares? hehe…you'll actually find out below!
I own nothing but my characters and ideas.

Chapter 65
Let the Games Begin
Over the next few months things remained relatively normal. Everyone fell into a familiar routine.
The patrons were certainly happier with the bots acting normal once again, Leo, Jamie and Enix worked on trying to get inside the night marionette's head…literally. However unlike the others his head seemed to be welded to the mask.
Clearly Acid didn't want him returning to his original body.
Speaking of the man. They hadn't seen head or high tail of him.
However…one night the dismantled bodies of the nightmares went missing. That was something that did not bode well with everyone. But with no way to track them down they had no choice but leave the matter be.
Hopefully it was just some guy trying to make a quick buck.
Though Leo doubted it.
Leo's relationship with the originals…improved. He doubted it would ever be quite like it was before. But he could hold conversations with them. And spend a reasonable amount of time with each of them without freaking out. So…that was good.
Piper came everyday. Even if her job didn't require it. Especially since a month in she had finished revamping all the music at Fazbears.
Yet she still came everyday, sometimes working as a waitress, sometimes a cook, other times she helped the men in doing security.
Leo wasn't sure how much she was getting paid, or if she was being paid at all. But regardless, he was glad for her presence.
Especially on the harder days when memories pressed against his mind, or when William was being especially difficult.
William, the pain in the **s that he was had gotten into the habit of constantly cutting into conversations that Leo had. Making him look crazy as he looked in his direction or countered a statement he made.
Leo's future with the apparition was still very unknown. They hadn't found a way to remove the chip from his head, and honestly they weren't entirely sure if they could.
It had been a surgery by Acid after all.
That thought still disturbed him.
But overall several months passed without much of an incident. They didn't see Colt. They didn't see Remington. So they presumed that they were doing fine and were occupied with taking care of their respective kidnapped victims.
Leo didn't fault them for not coming around, especially after what had happened.
And by their boss not coming around, they must be doing a good job right?
Overall, the past few months were nice and calm, and Leo couldn't help but feel anxious about it.
…because it felt like one of those calm before the storm times.
And…he wasn't wrong.
Piper had started insisting that he and the others worked in shifts. Trading off who got time off and who had to work. Sure there were still some days that they all worked together, but overall, they got a lot more breaks then they used to.
Tonight was one of Leo's breaks.
He was at Enix's apartment unable to sleep. He wasn't sure if it was because of his mounting anxiety, or William's inability to shut up.
Though it was likely the latter.
"….you just have to wonder ya know? Who was the first one to bring their hairdryer in the water?" That lovely question was posed to him when he had discovered that Enix owned a hairdryer and had given it a quick inspection.
Leo glanced at him briefly with a tired and annoyed expression. "…who knows. Maybe a serial killer did it." He responded dryly. That earned him a eye roll.
"Not everything is the work of a genius psychopath Leo." That prompted a eye roll from the guard as he put the hair dryer back under the cabinet.
"Oh yes, because you are such a villainous mastermind William." He left the bathroom, missing the affronted look on the apparition's face.
"I'd have you know that I am quite the mastermind!" The murderer countered as he quickly caught up with Leo, the guard plopped down on the couch with a breath and just gave him a hmmm, of acknowledgment as he picked up the remote and started scrolling through the channels.
However he did look up at William as he stepped in front of the tv.
"You need something?" He asked with an eyebrow raise.
Over time Leo grew more annoyed than frightened with his ghostly companion.
Perhaps that was an error on his part.
William's eyes blazed with indignation, "I do believe that I am! If it weren't for those stupid springlocks I'd still be out there literally getting away with murder!" Leo couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at his claim.
"Really."
"Yes!" He huffed looking to the side as if he couldn't believe Leo was uttering such things, "I got away with what, a dozen or so murders?"
"You don't even know how many people you've killed?" Leo asked, a bit of disgust broiling in his gut.
"I never specifically counted Leo! Most of them were just…spur of the moment." He took a breath and put his hands on his hips turning back to Leo. "But that's besides the point! Even when they tried to stop me they couldn't! And now I'm here! Reborn! Reincarnated-"
"As a druggie's shoulder devil." Leo finished, and then gave a slow clap with a small smirk on his face. "Congratulations." That earned him a hard scowl.
"You are as annoying as your other half." He grumbled before huffing and sitting on the arm chair to the left of Leo.
The guard glanced at him before sighing and turning back to the tv, he scooped up the remote and began to scroll through channels mindlessly.
"You do know it's like, four in the morning right?" William asked suddenly, Leo spared him a glance only to find the apparition leaning on the arm of the chair propping up his elbow and motioning to the digital clock on the coffee table.
Leo let out a breath and turned back to the tv. "Yeah well someone won't shut up."
"The dead don't sleep Leo." That earned an eye roll from the short guard.
"Yes, I have become acutely aware of that from our time together." He huffed and mashed down the scroll down button harder than he should've. "Well, regardless of you I can't sleep anyways." He muttered crossly, and William hummed.
"Think I'm gonna take the reigns?" He inquired with an eyebrow raise, and Leo scoffed a bit.
"That was disproven four weeks ago when I was high Will." But the ghost just frowned.
"Actually I did try, but maneuvering an intoxicated body was so infuriating I lost my grip on controlling you."
"Really?" Leo glanced at him before frowning and slumping back on the couch with a huff. "Well, there goes that pastime." That was muttered under his breath.
"As it should." The ghost grumbled, "I'd rather not be stuck in a corpse because you overdosed." He leaned on his hand moodily glaring at Leo. "I thought that habit of yours died with the arrival of the ****h." At the nickname that William had given Piper, Leo sent him a dirty glare before he huffed and turned back to the tv, catching sight of some strange soap opera. Deciding to leave it on for background noise he turned to William again.
"It didn't stop with her, I like getting high." He huffed glancing over William, "it helps me forget you."
However the insult didn't seem to get to the ghost, as his eyes were fixed on the tv, brows pinched inward.
Leo, a little miffed that he was being ignored turned to look at what was captivating his attention.
It was the soap opera, some…vampire guy in a purple suit was railing at his blonde wife about a child…or something. Normally Leo would've turned it off, but cartoons did entertain him.
"I didn't know you liked these kinds of shows." He muttered, glancing at the ghost.
His statement seemed to snap William out of whatever had been going on in his head.
He blinked and turned to Leo, and as he did, the guard couldn't help but momentarily notice how his form had shifted into a more human appearance over the past few months. No longer did he have the decaying head of Spring Bonnie, but instead resembled what Leo figured was what his human self had looked like.
"What?" The question caught Leo a bit off guard, William normally didn't miss a beat.
"The show…I didn't know you were into that kind of thing." And oddly enough, Leo didn't know much about William, as he wasn't certain if what he had been told while William pretended to be Scott was…acting or not.
"The show?" He questioned, turning to look at it again, then he pursed his lips and took a breath. "No. Too dramatic for my tastes. But…my son, Michael." His voice got a little softer, "he would always rope me into watching it with him. It was his favorite."
That made Leo blink again, aside from cursing Andrew's name, William hardly ever brought up his family. So much so that Leo had forgotten that he had one outside of his psychotic son.
"Oh…uh…" he faltered, unsure of what he should say.
But it didn't really matter what he said, as William continued as if not hearing him, "it would usually be after work. He'd get home from school…and while Andrew stayed overtime for detention…Michael would grab my hand and drag me to the living room." His eyes fell down to his hand. "That stopped after what happened. He hardly left his room after the incident."
Leo was quiet a moment gazing at him, he shouldn't sympathize with the man who actively wanted to murder his friends and countless children.
But…in a way he kind of did.
"…what incident?" He asked softly, William looked up at him a moment before taking a breath and curling his hand into a fist.
"Andrew." His usually purple transparent glow flashed a darker color with his anger. "…that idiotic child. He always enjoyed scaring Michael. Loved to get the boy to cry. I was so busy with work and my…plans that I didn't pay as much attention to it as I should've. I falsely assumed that Andrew was stupid…but not stupid enough to ever cause actual harm to his brother." He pressed his lips into a line. "The error on my part caused the loss of his life."
However, that statement made Leo frown, he had met Michael…talked to him twice!
"But…I've met Michael." He said softly…getting quieter as he realized that maybe it was a good thing that William didn't know he was alive…
"No Leo. You've met the minuscule part of Michael that survived." He lifted his gaze, and for a moment Leo held it. "You know how the chips work, yes?" Leo paused a moment before giving a small nod.
"They…absorb your…spirit, your consciousness if you die near them…right?" He was still a bit foggy on the concept.
"Yes, all of the animatronics were equipped with them. A week after the Byrds died-"
"Died?"
Leo's question caused a huff and a eye roll, "a week after I killed them." At the huff and exasperated look from Leo, William raised his hands, "they had discovered what I was going to do! I had to stop them before they disrupted my plans!"
"Oh, because that would've been such a bad thing."
"It would've! I spent years carefully laying out the pieces!" William claimed, before huffing and falling back in the chair with a hard exhale. "But that is besides the point. The Byrds were going to announce them as a safety feature that the bots had. With the reputation that Fazbear's already had, they were going to market it as…a container or sorts. To store the victims until their body could be repaired. It was a genius idea really, and if it had been announced, it probably would've put Fazbear's in the history books for something aside from murder. But alas. That never came to be." Leo just gazed at him deadpan, it was his fault after all!
"But my point is, all the bots had been equipped with empty chips, including Fredbear." William paused, rubbing his jaw line with a breath. "I tried to extract all I could from the chip. I had spent a fortune…much of Fazbear's fortune on getting a specialist who could help Michael…even made some parts of him…robotic in order to aid in proper functioning." He then took a breath, eyes turning back to the tv, "I spent nights…weeks, months trying to get all of him off the chip. But I was not the Byrds. They had intricate systems…and they shared their secrets with no one. So I was never able to fully pull my son from that chip." William turned his gaze back to Leo. "The Michael you met is but a fraction of my son. Occupying a body that can never die. Decay? Yes. But never die."
Leo paused, his mind calling back to Michael's peculiar appearance. And the small bits of information he had gathered from the others.
Something very bad had happened to him, something that should've killed him.
"…so that's why he looks like that." Leo muttered aloud. William's eyes lifted at his words.
"Why he looks like what?" He sat up a bit more, "what has Andrew done to him now?"
Michael wasn't sure how he was supposed to feel about the dead tooth in his hands.
But he didn't feel anything at all.
This decaying corpse didn't feel nauseous at the thought of his teeth falling from his mouth like loose gravel. He couldn't feel anything.
His body was dead after all.
With a sigh, Michael rubbed his face, only to be met with a dry friction and flakes of dead skin falling from him like snow.
He wanted to cry…he hadn't cried in what…six months? Had it been so long already?
Michael couldn't cry, he couldn't eat, he couldn't feel. The other day he had smashed his hand in the doorway and didn't even notice until he tried to move forward.
Michael existed. A part of the world but entirely separate from it.
Taking a breath for lungs that didn't need it, he pulled up his mask, tired of looking at the disfigured mess that was his face.
The sound of clomping from the living room told Michael that Spring Bonnie had woken from his powered down state.
The realization caused him to glance at his watch, it was half past six, he should probably get to work. Henry was opening the pizzeria. Months of planning and they were finally here.
Michael was nervous.
But he didn't feel nervous.
He didn't feel anything.
"Michael? You're going to be late!" Spring called from the living room, Michael took a breath and pulled on his gloves and pulled on his wig and glasses.
"Coming!" He called before finally exiting the bathroom he didn't use anymore.
"What's got you dallying this morning? Normally you're already out the door." The mechanical bunny questioned, Michael's coat held up for him.
The soon to be manager took a breath and slid both arms in the coat held up and shrugged it on. "Lost in my own head I suppose." He muttered softly and the rabbit hummed behind him.
"Dangerous place to be. You sure you can drive?" The question made Michael turn to face his roommate as he adjusted his cuffs.
"Yeah." That was said quietly as he adjusted the sleeve cuff of his right arm.
There was silence a moment, "you don't have to do this, you know. You aren't required to deal with this anymore. You never were." The rabbit whispered, Michael lifted his gaze to him and sighed.
"What else am I going to do? Get another job?" He held out his arms, "I don't exactly blend in now do I?" If the robot could look sympathetic, he would.
"I…understand." He whispered, and Michael lifted his gaze to him, faltering in his irritation.
"I…I know you do." With another breath he adjusted his mask. "After this…it'll all be over. Henry plans on freeing the souls…then I'll ask if he could help me disappear. We will be free." He offered with a smile up at Spring, who gave him one in return, only obvious by the way his eyelids lifted a little higher than normal.
"Okay, just…don't do anything stupid." He paused, "especially if Andrew gets involved." He added, and Michael nodded with a hard breath, his smile instantly dropping at the mention of his brother.
"Yeah no kidding." He went to the door grabbing his keys, "I'll be back. Don't…break anything." Michael advised with a glance back at the large animatronic.
The bunny nodded crossing his heart, "I've gotten a lot better about maneuvering around!" He promised and Michael let out a short breath of a laugh.
"You sure have." He gave a small wave, "I'll be back."
The bunny waved him off and Michael left, locking the door behind him.
…he really shouldn't have gone into work that day.
"I wish you had warned me before taking that turn!" Jamie griped as he did his best to balance the tray of drinks in hand and take off his helmet at the same time.
Enix let out a chuckle, "it's always fun when it's a surprise." He remarked in return, helmet under his arm as he stole his drink from the tray, causing the redhead's precarious balance to be offset and him fumbling to not spill the drinks.
When he did, he snapped a glare up at Enix who winced, lowering his drink after having taken a sip.
"Sorry." The redhead just sighed and shoved his helmet at Enix who had to fumble to hold it, then he started toward the pizzeria only to stop. When Enix saw this he frowned and looked where his attention was.
His blood ran cold at the sight of shattered glass, and busted through front doors as the once sturdy metal framing was bent and broken in awkward ways.
"***k." He swore, before putting the helmets down and hurrying to the restaurant, Jamie was not far behind.
Stepping over the demolished doors, Enix hurried inside. "Hello?!" He called without thinking, and Jamie swallowed as he caught up with him.
"Maybe we shouldn't announce our presence…." That was whispered, as it was irrelevant now, the deed had been done.
Enix spared him a glance before handing him back his drink and looking around his feet for some kind of weapon.
He quickly found what was once a part of the glass door framing. It now made for a rod of metal. Scooping it up and shaking off any glass dust he lifted it and made his way into the pizzeria.
It looked like a tornado had ran through it. Neither the bots or Ashford was anywhere in sight.
In retrospect maybe leaving the frightened man wasn't the best idea.
But it had only been for a bit!
"What the ***l happened here….?" Jamie breathed, glancing around wide eyed.
Enix clenched his jaw uneasily, "I don't know."
There were no bots inside, and as the two made their way through the pizzeria…they continued to find nothing.
That was until they returned to the main room, where Ashford came stumbling back into the pizzeria.
"Ashford!" Enix called, causing the man to flinch and look over to them.
"G…guys!" He looked like he had been running through the woods.
Jamie and Enix came over to him and Enix motioned around, "what happened? Where are the bots?" Those questions made Ashford swallow and wring his hands before him.
"I…I don't know what happened! Everything was f…fine! Then…they all started freaking out! They kept insisting that they had to leave! I…I couldn't stop them! I tried…and they were in such a rush they broke the doors…Charlotte and I tried to follow…but we lost them in the woods…and…and then this…this other bot came! It looked like Freddy but it wasn't…it captured Charlotte…and took off before I could stop it either…" he swallowed, bunching up his shoulders, "I'm sorry…I…I tried to stop them I…" he trailed off, and Enix sighed heavily, eyes on the demolished doorway.
"…great."
"…why would they just leave like that?" Jamie asked, brows pinched. Enix gave a huff and shrug.
"I don't know. But I got the feeling I know who is responsible."
"Andrew." Jamie claimed and the other two men sighed and nodded. "Okay…so what now?" Jamie prompted, looking between the two older men.
Enix took a hard breath, "we need to tell Leo and Piper…then we gotta find out where they all went." That was met with nods, and the blue haired guard sighed deeply and pulled out his phone, staring at it a moment before turning and dialing his friend's number.
As he did that, Jamie turned to Ashford and then looked at the pizzeria. "We…should probably tell Remington what happened…" that made Ashford swallow.
"Y…yeah…" he looked a shade paler than before, and Jamie took a soft breath, placing the tray of drinks down on the table and pulling out his phone. With less hesitation than Enix, he dialed their boss.
"For the millionth time. No. I do not need your help. I am managing things perfectly fine…and perfectly legal all on my own." Remington claimed as he gazed coolly at the young man across from him.
Said young man sighed, green eyes shifting to the side.
"Look, sir, despite how much you try, Fazbear's is always going to have a reputation. That can't be helped! It just comes with the name nowadays." He turned to him motioning with his hand, "and how the public views the company is very important for growth!" He picked up a briefcase and set it on the table. Remington eyed it warily, and Lucy, who sat away from the table and observed quietly, did much the same.
The man blew a strand of hair out of his face before opening the briefcase up with a click. He started pulling out folders and papers, setting them down on the table. Remington eyed a few with a small frown.
What was VR?
"Look, I'm not proposing anything illegal. Nothing of the sort! I can see that you are not the type of man to take kindly to such things." He gave a shrug, "and I can respect that!" He closed the briefcase and held out a folder for Remington to take, and after a moment of hesitation, the man did.
"All I'm proposing is a bit of fudging of the truth. Rebrand the name."
Remington opened up the file and gazed down at the documents within.
"What is this…virtual reality?" The CEO questioned, lifting his gaze to the grinning man across from him.
"Weeeelll, it's in the name sir! Virtual reality. As in a completely safe scenario! A setting where people who liked to be scared can enjoy the creepiness of the animatronics." He shrugged, "annnnnd if we can convince the public that the…terrible tragedies of the past are works of fiction rather then truth….well I guarantee that the brand's approval rating will soar."
But Remington gazed down at the paperwork with a small frown. "You want to lie to the public?" He lifted his eyes to the brunet across from him. "What of those who have been personally affected by the tragedies? Won't this just be scoffing in the face of that?"
The man across from him faltered before taking a soft breath removing his briefcase from the table. "Sir, the board has already discussed and agreed upon this….this meeting is mostly just a formality. To…inform you of what is to happen." He said calmly, and Remington firmed his lips into a line.
"So, I don't have a say in this."
The young man gave a sympathetic shrug, "yeah…kinda."
"But I am the CEO. Shouldn't I be the one making choices like this?" He asked putting the paperwork down.
"You…could protest. And…risk losing your position." He claimed with a shrug, and Remington let out a slight breath, clenching and unclenching his fists before relaxing.
"Fine. But we must discuss this whole…deceiving the public thing. It doesn't sit right with me." Remington didn't catch as the man's eyes turn to Lucy before back at Remington.
"Yes. Of course. And we shall arrange a time for that meeting to commence." He gathered up papers and started stacking them, "now, you can keep that folder. Look it over, make notes, whatever you wish. I just have one thing to ask." That made Remington look up from the folder and raise an eyebrow slightly.
"And what might that be?"
"I would like to offer my services as your assistance and PR Representative sir." He handed him another folder, and with a sigh and small frown, Remington took this one as well. Opening it up he found a well polished resume. He looked it over, with every intention of denying this man, despite his very good credentials.
He was clearly a sleezebag, and those were the kinds of people that Remington wanted to get out of the company.
However, before he could open his mouth and deny him, his phone went off.
Remington winced, cursing himself for not turning it off and sighed pulling it out, "my apologies." But the man just dismissed him with a wave of his hand.
"Don't worry about it."
Remington didn't acknowledge it, instead glanced down at his phone to see who was calling.
He paused at Jamie's name and took a hard breath. The only reason the waiter would be calling is if something bad happened.
"Excuse me, I have to take this." He explained, but was motioned on by the brunet.
Remington answered the call, "Jamie? What is it? I'm in a meeting."
"I…I'm sorry sir. I wouldn't disturb you if it wasn't important." He informed, and despite already knowing this, Remington clenched a hand in his lap and took a deep breath.
"Of course, what has happened?"
"We….well sir….the bots…they uh, they left." That made Remington pause and frown deeply.
"What are you saying?"
"Exactly what I said sir. The bots…the originals, the toys..they all…left. They took off and we don't know where they went." That made Remington pause, taking a deep breath and counting to ten.
"Okay, I will be there this afternoon. Try your best to figure it out until then."
"Yes sir." With that the waiter hung up, and Remington let out a breath lowering his phone.
This was going to be a mess…how was he going to explain how all of their animatronics vanished? How was he…
His eyes lifted to the patiently waiting man across from him, and he wet his lips with a breath.
"Tell me…" he trailed off not knowing his name.
"Quientin, Quientin Rush sir."
"Quientin. Right, yes." He sighed, "tell me, Quientin. If you were to become my assistant and PR Representative…would I be able to get you to sign a non-disclosure contract? As in, no contacting the board, no spying. And certainly no blabbing to any news source you come across."
A slow grin spread across Quientin's face, and it reminded Remington far too much of a shark for his comfort.
But the man reached inside his vest and pulled out a pen, clicking it and smirking, "Just tell me where to sign boss."
Michael really shouldn't have come into work to day, and as he stared down at the powered down animatronics before him, he entertained the idea of just leaving and never returning.
"I'm glad it worked." Henry muttered from next to him, the younger man turned to look at him and stole a breath shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Sir…I thought we were going to be doing it like…one or two at a time. Not all of them at once…" he trailed nervously. Henry sighed.
"We were…I think Andrew's system is a bit buggy." Michael tensed at the mention of his brother, something Henry noticed. "I wish you two would talk to each other…you are all that you have left. And I'm sure whatever happened could be worked out."
But Michael only shook his head, hands clenching in his pockets.
"No. It's best if we don't interact with each other." Henry pursed his lips and sighed.
"I wish you would tell me what happened."
"…some things are best left unsaid Henry." He then went over to the unconscious Freddy and took a deep breath. "Do you have a dolly? Or something to help us get them inside?" Michael didn't really have muscle anymore…and even with it not hurting, he'd rather not break or dislocate anything.
That made things all the more difficult.
"Yeah, I'll go fetch it." The greying man hurried back into the building.
The openeing had occurred a little after Michael arrived, and currently the main part of the resturant was thrumming with life as patrons ate away. But Henry had called Michael outside as a total of ten animatronics showed up unconscious in their alleyway.
The whole situation made Michael nervous. He doubted that Andrew made a…mistake like this.
His brother was crazy…but he was clever, he wouldn't mess up like this.
Unless it was part of his plan all along.
Michael was shaken from his thoughts as Henry rejoined him, a dolly being towed behind him.
"We should get the heaviest ones in the containement room first." He advised, and Michael took a breath turning and going over to the originals. Them being the largest and heaviest of the bunch.
He hoped this all worked.
He wanted all of this to be over.
Andrew slurped loudly from his drink as he gazed at the tablet before him. Pacing about the small room.
"Looks like we got everyone!" He cheered and turned to look at Ennard who lurked in the corner of the room.
"Fffffinally….I'm tired of all thissss…heavy liffffting…" the bot grumbled, and Andrew snorted.
"Didn't know you were against manual labor." The human glanced back at his robotic companion and Ennard rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.
"I wassss not made for sssssuch thingssss." He hissed in response.
Andrew smirked amused and shook his head turning back to the tablet. There he saw Henry and Michael towing in the last of the bots. "Yes, it's almost time." He breathed before setting down the device and heading over to the wall. He used his foot to push aside a shelf, there was a clunking sound as the wall parted to reveal a room behind it. He entered with his companion following behind glancing around.
"How'd you afffford all thissss bossss?" The bot asked, and Andrew hummed, going over to a wall of glass containers, within them was none other then his nightmarish creations.
"People are more and more interested in technology these days. And they'll pay a good penny to be ahead of their competitors." He went over to a tablet built into the wall checking the stats of them all. "That was probably one of the only things I disagreed with my father about. He was so obsessed with immortality, he missed the opprotunity to financially benefit from the Byrd's incredible advancements in tech. The rest of the world is just figuring out how to use mobile communication while we have walking, talking and learning artificial intelligence." He glanced back at him and smirked, "funny isn't it?"
"Ssssso what do you plan on doing affffter all thissss?" The question made Andrew paused befoe shrugging.
"Father will know what to do. Maybe we can rebuild…make the pizzeria properly. Find a better plan then what he did originally. It doesn't really matter what we do. We'll be a family…how we were supposed to be originally. Father, Lizzie and I. We don't need anyone else." He then paused and turned back to the bot, "and you of course."
Ennard nodded his head, and before the conversation could continue, there was a beeping coming from one of the computers. Andrew blinked and hurried over to it. Leaning over and typing into the key board.
"Henry has sealed the room. They aren't going to be getting out." Andrew took a breath, a grin on his face as he stood up and turned to the amalgamation.
"It's time." Then his eyes went to the one glass container further from the others.
With a soft breath he went over and brushed a hand over the glass, "it took me so long to find you…" he muttered before typing a code into the wall. The glass slid open with a hiss and fog poured out, once it cleared. Andrew grinned broadly at the sight of the empty Spring Bonnie springlock suit.
"Thank goodness for prototypes…"
Henry let out a breath wiping his brow with his sleeve as he leant against the wall.
"Well that was more difficult then I expected." He breathed, turning to look at Michael who was quietly adjusting his gloves. A rueful smile graced the old man's face, "oh to be young."
That made Michael look up and swallow slightly, letting out a breath of a laugh. "Yeah…some things are good about it."
If Michael had been human anymore, he would've been as exhausted, if not more then Henry was. But here were some perks to being dead he supposed.
"Alright, we best get started. We need to find out which ones are haunted." At that Michael nodded and went to go fetch the tape recorder, he wasn't sure if Henry's…audio disturbance method would work, but who was he to question how ghosts worked?
Okay….he was dead, but still.
However, just as he fetched the device and closed the cabinet he caught sight of another room. Smaller and with a glass window to view inside.
But it wasn't the room that bothered him…it was what was slumped against the wall.
"Fredbear…" he breathed, and even though his body was dead, his jaw and head ached at the sight of him.
"Michael?" The old man called, before coming over and catching sight of what he was seeing.
"…I'm not sure how it got here…but it came last night. While you were away." Henry took a breath and gave Michael's shoulder a bit of a squeeze. "It can't do anything Michael. It's just a suit, there is no endoskeleton in it." Michael swallowed and gave a small jerky nod.
"Y…yeah, of course…" he forced himself to jerk away from the door and head back over to the large containment room.
"How are the stage bots doing? We've been open for a bit." The young man asked, desperate to put the bear far from his mind.
"Oh the melodies? Fine. I think people were hoping for the originals, but the mini games seemed to have satisfied them for now. Hopefully we can turn a profit before the end of this week."
Right, the end of the week, when they would close the place down and burn it all to the ground. Freeing the souls and ending all of this.
It couldn't come soon enough.
"Sir…I don't quite understand, if we have all the bots, why don't we just burn it all now?" Michael asked, sparing a glance to Henry as the older man grabbed a notepad and pen.
"Well…we need to make sure all the souls are accounted for. And we don't have all the bots. The funtimes haven't showed up. And…neither has your father." At the mention of his father Michael couldn't help but look down.
He wasn't even sure how he felt about the man anymore.
"Right…and we're only going to wait a week?"
"Any longer and I fear we are risking something disastrous happening." Michael let out a breath and nodded.
"Right. We should get started then."
Henry nodded and moved to open the door, only for the door from the hallway to open up.
Both men turned to view their new companion, only to freeze, two different reactions hitting them.
Michael stiffened up, what was Spring doing here? How'd he even know where to work? Did the device call him as well?!
Henry however went a shade paler, when he said he wanted William to come….he didn't expect it to be so soon! He hoped he would be on one the last ones to arrive!
"Wi…Wil…"
"Spring! What are you doing here!?"
However both men paused and looked at each other confused.
"Hey! The name is Andrew." The man within the costume claimed before removing the head of the suit and smirking at them. "You like it? It's the first prototype!" However the two men did not share in his enthusiasm.
And Michael especially paled when he saw that cursed bot lurking behind Andrew and peering over his shoulder.
"A…Andrew…listen to me. You need to get out of that suit. The prototype was retired for a reason." Henry said, wide eyed and looking very…very afraid.
"Oh I know! That's why I spent months working on it! Making sure that it was more sturdy than before!"
"So you removed the springlocks?" Henry asked, shoulders slumping in relief.
"No, why would I do that?" The oldest man let out a hard breath and held his face.
"Andrew…please get out of the suit. Pleas-" he cut himself off as when he looked up, Andrew was suddenly before him with the helmet on.
Michael swallowed and grasped Henry's arm to pull him away in a worst case scenario.
However he tensed up more as his attention was turned to Ennard as the amalgamation crept closer.
"Why should I? I made sure it's safe!" He leaned in and tilted his head, "or is it bringing back some unpleasant memories…?" He asked in almost a taunting way.
However Michael's attention was on Ennard, as the bot continued to advance. Eventually Michael let go of Henry's arm as he backed away from the bot.
Did it want to get back inside of him?!
His breathing got faster as he was backed against the wall.
Ennard tilted his head and then raised a finger to where his lips were supposed to be.
"Husssssh now…" cords and wires started separating from his body and Michael inhaled sharply and watched with a small whimper as the cords pulled down his face mask. "Or I'll make you hussssh…." He hissed, and Michael nodded phantom pain flashing through him from the last time.
However his eyes were turned back to Henry and Andrew…and that's when he saw the knife in Andrew's hand glinting in the light.
His eyes widened and he opened his mouth to call out to Henry, but no sound ever came out. Cords shot into his mouth and down his throat. Panic became the only thing he felt, and he could only make a choked noise as the wires wrapped around his throat both inside and out.
The noise he made caused Henry to look at him, but that was the man's mistake.
There was a sickening squash sound as a knife was plunged into the heart of the old man.
Michael's eyes widened and he let out a choked and alarmed noise, only to choke out a grunt as hard metal slammed against his chest. His ankles and wrists were wrapped up and he breathed hard and heavy, reflexively gagging to try and get rid of the cords that were down his throat but to no avail.
"A…Andrew…" Henry gasped out, hunched over and staring up at the costumed man.
"Actually Henry, I prefer to be called Acid." Hummed the Afton, "and I do want to thank you. Helping me fly under the radar, making this place. Gathering them all up for me." Acid leaned over and placed a hand on Henry's head, a grin in his voice. "But you can't be here anymore. I can't have your presence upsetting my father. This all must go perfectly…and your plan does not coincide with mine."
Henry slumped against Acid who easily caught him and lowered him to the ground, the older man choked as Michael tried to struggle against Ennard, but it was useless.
"A…Andrew…w…why…" Henry choked out, and Acid let out a breath.
"Because you would get in the way of my plans Henry." He tilted his head down and chuckled, "now good night Henry. Thank you for all you've done."
Michael let out a choked cry of protest and alarm as Andrew proceeded to literally twist the knife in Henry's chest. The dying man let out a choked cry and slumped further….his head dropping as his body went limp.
Michael stared at the scene wide eyed, hardly caring about Ennard's cords in his mouth anymore.
Acid slowly stood up and casually wiped off the knife on the fur of the suit.
Then…he turned to look at Michael. Even behind the fake eyes of the Spring Bonnie suit…the youngest Afton could see the insanity shining through in his brother's eyes.
"Ah my brother in blood." He sauntered over, arms swinging like a cartoon character. Ennard moved out of the way from in front of him and retracted his wires that were in Michael's mouth.
Michael spat, coughing a bit as function returned to his throat, then his eyes lifted to the psychopath before him.
"Don't worry, this will end. It will end for everyone. You won't have to suffer any longer." Acid placed a hand on his head and Michael tensed, glaring up at him. "I'll be sure of it…brother." Then…Ennard swung out his hand and struck Michael in his head. Whether it short circuited whatever was keeping him conscious, or something else.
But whatever it was, it made Michael drop like a rock as reality faded to black.
Acid gazed down at the limp form of his brother, and let out a chuckle.
"That went surprisingly well." With that he spun on the heel of his suit and sauntered over to the room that contained the bots. He swung open the door and gazed at all their bodies, a wide grin on his suit, and his face.
"What'ssss next ssssir?" Ennard asked, slinking over as he reconstructed himself back to normal.
"Next? Next my magnificent creation…the games shall begin."
Soo….lots happened huh?
Annnnd summary for the situation. Acidrew has all of the bots except for….
Spring Bonnie
The Funtimes
At the moment, we have two Puppet's. Nightmare Puppet and the regular Puppet body but Charlotte is in control of it.
The originals and the children are once again in possession of the same bodies.
The suit Acidrew is wearing is a prototype of the Spring Bonnie suit.
The nightmare suits of the originals are in the possession of Acidrew as he is the one who stole them from the pizzeria.
So, what did you guys think? What of Michael? Spring? How about Leo's interaction with William? What do you think Acidrew has planned?
I'd love to hear what you think!
