Hello everyone! Welcome to a long chapter! It…ended up longer then I expected, so I hope you enjoy!

Warnings: Child abuse. And minor (though mostly unintentional) self harm.

Reviews…

Silverleone: Foxy? Well we shall have to see! And with Foxy will be Mangle, perhaps they could stop these terrible events. As for where I am taking this, well I have lots of plans, and all of this is important and purposeful. As for your theory? We shall have to see, and yes, destroying Ennard will be very difficult.

TU4QU0I53T4IAN6L3: Indeed they did bite it, I'm glad you liked the showdown, I hope you will like the ones that follow! As for Acid? Well we shall see what happened to his character. As for the chips, did they survive? Did they not? We shall have to see won't we? I'm glad you liked the spotlight, sometimes I do feel like the animatronics get the sidelines and while these are sad chapters, I'm glad to be able to write about them! And…yes, William, that complicated and psychopathic man. Will Michael affect him? Will it not? Will it make a difference in the end? We shall have to see. And yes…Acid, I won't say much about him. But I still have plans for him. Whether they be good, or bad, we shall see.

Davie Wilson: Thank you! I'm so glad you like it!

Selkiesong22: Bad for Acid? Hm, interesting, I fear you might be in the minority here. However, therapy would really help him. That I can say for certainty. Unfortunately, something does have to stop him. We shall see if it's too late when it comes.

SuperBroBK20: I can certainly say, that your response did take me by surprise, honestly I'm never sure how my writing comes across or makes people feel. So…thank you? I am sorry that you feel like you have to leave the story, I don't mean to completely break you guys, and I do hope you stick around. I can't say much…cause spoilers, but I do have plans for the future, and I still have a few surprises up my sleeve. Angst stuff and tragedy will come and there probably will be some hard stuff to come, but I hope you, and any others who feel the way you do stick around to see what happens. Regardless, thank you for reading this far!

I hope you guys enjoy the chapter below!

I own nothing but my characters

Chapter 67
Bear Hide

"No! ****it! Freddy get back over here!" Colt yelled as he bolted for the mechanical bear who was trying to sneak out the door.

He slammed it shut and got between the bear and the door panting for breath as he stared up at him.

"Okay I dunno what's going on with you guys, but whatever it is…it isn't good!"

"Colt!" Lucas called suddenly causing the man to turn and watch as the young boy with a pot atop his head and wielding a frying pan stood between Ft. Foxy and Ballora.

Foxy was looking more and more irate as he growled, hands held up like claws.

"HEY! TOUCH HIM AND YOU GET DISASSEMBLED FOXY!" He barked, putting his most threatening voice to work.

Foxy looked up and let out a growl, the once whites of his eyes now black. Ballora took this distraction and went for the window, Lucas cried out and tried to stop her, only for the Ballerina to twist her body in an impossible way and slip out of the window easily.

Colt let out a hard swear before turning back to Ft Freddy and his bunny companion.

'LeT US oUt!" The bear demanded and tried to push past him but Colt gave him a solid shove back with his foot square in the bot's chest.

The bear stumbled back and that's when Colt bolted for Lucas, scooping up the boy and slamming the window shut in one move. He snatched the pan from the boy and held it up to the growling and snarling fox.

"Stay back! You guys aren't going anywhere!"

However Colt knew it would be impossible without turning them off, Freddy was already yanking at the doorknob of the apartment, intent upon pulling it off and breaking the door. Foxy was growing ever closer despite Colt's warnings.

For some reason…they were very intent upon leaving.

"****it! Would you two just stay still?!" He barked, before chucking a pan at Freddy who jerked suddenly and looked at him with a growl and glowing eyes.

Okay maybe that wasn't the best move.

But of course, this was the moment that his doorbell rang.

All of their attention went to it, and then to each other.

There was only a brief moment of silence before the bots bolted for the door, and Colt followed suit after placing Lucas down.

Managing to get there just before them, he plastered himself against the door completely blocking it with his body. The bots snarled and moved to grab him, only for them to tense, flinch and spasm a bit as one of the safety protocols he put in place activated.

Score for planning ahead.

"Who is it?!" He demanded over his shoulder and to the guests outside.

"Uh…the guys from the other pizzeria? Everything okay there?" Enix asked from outside, and Colt cursed internally.

"This is not a good time!" He countered, the bots before him continued to glitch and spasm clearly trying to override his safety protocols.

Great.

"Colt! I don't see the ballerina lady!" Lucas called from where he peered out the window. Colt looked at him and then the bots before turning over his shoulder.

"We are kind of in the middle of something!"

"Are they trying to leave?" Jamie's question caught him off guard, but he didn't get a chance to respond as the man spoke up again. "All the bots at the pizzeria left earlier today, we called and spoke to Alder, he said to come and find you. That you might be able to help." The man finished, and Colt swallowed as he saw Foxy take a step closer.

"Help!? How!? It's not like I can track them down!" He countered and blindly grabbed for the nearest item, it happened to be an umbrella. He held it before him defensively. "Why the ***l are they trying to leave anyways!?" He demanded and there was the sound of someone clearing his throat from behind the door.

"William says it's because of Acid, something he did to them caused them to retreat to an unknown location. We don't know why yet." There was a pause from Leo, "is there anyway we can help you?"

"If I open this door, they are gone." He said with a breath, watching as Foxy's spasms slowed down. "***K." He hissed, and held up the umbrella knowing it would likely do nothing to stop him.

"Well if we can get them unconscious, maybe we can figure out what is luring them away! And how to stop it!" An unfamiliar woman's voice proposed. And Colt huffed a breath.

"If I could've done that, I would've!" He retorted.

Foxy snapped his head up and let loose a low growl hunching over and claws extended. A thin line of smoke came from his head…indicating that the safety device was now nothing more then fried metal.

***k.

Original Freddy powered on, and he immediately knew something was wrong.

He sat up slowly and glanced around with a furrow of his brow, where was he?

His eyes fell on Fred who was slowly waking as well.

"Fred." He greeted, his deep baritone echoing through the empty building. His toy counterpart looked up and then around with a frown.

"What….where are we?" He asked, slowly pushing himself up, Freddy did the same.

"I'm not sure. But I don't like it." Freddy muttered, and Fred gave a mocked breath.

"We should find the others." The toy recommended. Earning a nod from his elder.

"Agreed."

The two of them left the room and entered the long hallway that ended in a T.

"I'm not familiar with this location, Freddy…" Fred muttered, glancing around, his ears pulled back slightly.

"Neither am I. What do you remember last?" Freddy asked his counterpart, the smaller bear frowned and put his thumb to his chin.

"I remember talking with Steven…and then an error occurred in my systems." He informed, looking up at Freddy as they walked down the hallway.

"I remember much the same. Then everything went black."

"And now we are here…" Fred hummed as they made their way down the hallway.

However, both bots stopped as something crunched under Freddy's foot.

Confused, both looked down…only to freeze in place at the sight of a bright yellow plastic arm.

"Is that…"

"Chia!?" Fred cried and looked around wildly…before his eyes landed the torso.

The toy bear ran over and got down on his knees before the body looking at her wide eyed.

Freddy mocked a swallow and looked around uncomfortably before reaching down and examining the arm. This was her current body…

There was still glitter between her joints from the last birthday party…

"What happened?! Who did this!?" Fred demanded looking up at Freddy who soon met his gaze.

The older bear swallowed, "I'm not sure-"

"HEY KIDDENS! LETS EAT!"

The sound of one of Chica's recorded voice lines made Freddy tense up as he lifted his eyes to the hallway before them.

His insides churned with unease as he slowly stood up.

"W…was that…" Fred started, but trailed off as Freddy passed him, entering the long hallway.

At the end of it, propped up by a chair was the destroyed body of Chica, limbs shoddily duct taped onto her body. Her head was propped atop the body…and there was no skull inside it.

Resting on her lap was what looked to be some kind of speaker whose wires disappeared into a hold in the wall to her right.

"LOOK AT ALL OUR VISITORS TODAY FREDDY!" The speaker shouted at him, but Freddy hardly paid the words any mind. He slowly stepped over, endoskeleton feeling heavier then before.

Finally he stood before her disassembled body before crouching before it.

"Who…who did…" He trailed, unable to finish as his old voice box cracked in pitch.

"WHO LIKES PIZZA?! I LIKE PIZZA!" The speaker proclaimed and Freddy mocked a swallow, as he slowly lifted his hand and lightly grasped hers, giving it a small squeeze.

"I'm so sorry Chica…"

And then…the entire building shook. Freddy stiffened up and looked around, but his attention was soon brought back to Chica as her empty helmet toppled from atop her body and hit the ground with a thud. He mocked a breath and reached out to grab the helmet and put it back on her head….

"FREDDY!" Fred screamed from the other room making the older bear jerk to his feet and look to where his voice had come from. He barely hesitated a second leaving the helmet on the ground as he bolted to where his younger counterpart was.

Freddy entered the hallway only to come to a halt.

At the end of the hall, past a frozen Fred was something that Freddy had wished he would never see again.

Nightmare Freddy stood there, towering over the both of them easily…and it wasn't just him.

Those cursed little Freddy's were already spasming as they crawled toward them, one on the ceiling and the two others on the wall.

"WELL WELL LOOK WHO WE HAVE HERE BOYS!?" Nightmare yelled with a bellowing laugh that shook the building around them.

Fred backed up shaking until he collided with Freddy. The older bear caught his toy counterpart and held him by his shoulders as he watched the approaching monsters.

"Run." He said simply as he released Fred and pushed him behind him.

However Fred turned back around and grabbed Freddy's arm, "what?! No!" But Freddy turned to the toy and grabbed his shoulders.

"Shut up and listen to me, the only chance we have is to separate him from those creatures. You need to run, I trust that you can take care of them. Okay?" He explained, and the smallest bear gazed up at him wide eyed before nodding whilst setting his jaw.

"Of course." With that they separated and the toy bounced from foot to foot as he gazed up at the miniature Freddie's.

"Alright you little mats! Come and get me!" He shouted before taking off running.

Him running seemed to have activated some kind of prey drive instinct in these monsters. As the small ones took off after him with speed that Freddy found alarming.

Nightmare jumped into action as well, intending upon chasing Fred but Freddy wasn't having it.

As Nightmare bolted down the hallway Freddy charged at him as well, shoulder first.

Their collision resounded in a crash as Freddy sent his nightmare counterpart to the ground but ended up going with him as well.

Now atop the monster he began to try and get his helmet off. If he could get to his skull, he could do his best to smash it.

However the nightmare wasn't having it, as the moment Freddy's hand came close to that thing's mouth, it's jaws opened up and he snapped down onto Freddy's wrist.

The original bear cried out, but the minor pain of that was nothing in comparison to the pain when those heavy duty jaws cut through his endoskeleton joint.

The bear cried out in more of a roar than anything. He jerked his arm back and stared at his handless limb turning back to the nightmare and finding him grinning up at him before spitting out Freddy's hand.

Then he let out a low chuckle and grinned up at the original bear.

"Careful where you put your paws fuzz." Then he reached up and with his clawed hand grabbed Freddy by his neck and then pushed himself up. Somehow the nightmare bear managed to push himself up, and haul up Freddy as well.

Freddy would be impressed…if the bot wasn't trying to kill him.

The grip on his throat was lost as the nightmare chucked Freddy against the wall like he was nothing more then a rag doll.

The older bot landed with a crash and something inside him cracked.

With a grunt and groan of his joints, he tried to push himself up, but tensed as he heard nightmare's footsteps.

However he froze confused when the nightmarish creature…kept going past him.

"W…where…where are you going!?" He demanded, and the bigger bot laughed.

"Never plan in front of your enemy fuzz!" But then he paused, stopping at the corner and turning to look at him. "Hm…he would be mad if I just left you there…"

Before Freddy could ask who 'he' was, the nightmare came tromping over causing the original to scramble to try and get up again. But his fur worked against him and he wasn't able to get a proper grip before the nightmare got there.

However, unlike what Freddy expected, which was for the nightmare to straight up kill him…the bot went for his legs. Grabbing both of them, lifting him off the ground and with a bellowing laugh for each…he ripped both legs off with alarming ease.

Freddy let out a cry that turned into a roar as he was once again thrown to the ground like a sack of potato's.

The bear laughed, proceeding to snap his dismembered legs in half and throwing them to the ground.

Then he stomped off.

"No! Wait! Don't hurt him!" Freddy cried, doing his best to army crawl forward, but it was useless. He would never be able to catch up with the bot.

He slammed his remaining fist on the ground with a shout of anger causing the tile to crack.

If he could breathe he'd be heaving for breath between clenched teeth. But instead he just lay there, the stubs that remained of his legs pulsing with pain.

Freddy?

Gabriel's voice chimed from his right with a yawn, the bear lifted his eyes to the child and he mocked a huff.

"Finally awake huh?"

Freddy, what's going on?

The little boy asked, glancing around until his eyes landed on the area where Freddy's legs should be.

Freddy! What happened to your legs?!

The bear mocked another huff, "they were ripped off Gabriel." He lifted his eyes to the boy, "and I don't believe the nightmare that did it is done with us yet." Gabriel looked around fidgeting in place and nervously bringing his hand up to his mouth biting his knuckle.

But then his eyes lit up and for a moment, the darkened area around his eyes didn't seem so dark.

We can do this Freddy. We just need to beat him. You were in his body right? What are it's weaknesses?

Freddy closed his eyes, "Gabriel that doesn't really matter if I can't walk."

Then lets figure out how to move around! C'mon! We aren't going to die here! I'm not dying a…again Freddy!

The old bear opened his eyes at the break in Gabriel's voice, his gaze lifted to the child only to mock a sigh at the more prominent tear tracks that spilled out from his determined eyes.

Freddy set his jaw before nodding, "okay, yeah, let's figure this out."

Andrew paced about the room he was in, his eyes flickering from the monitors on the table and the ever beeping monitor that indicated the pulse of his youngest sibling.

Ennard watched him quietly from his little nest in the corner. The bot had progressively collected things that both he and Elizabeth liked. Whether that be dolls, or plush animals.

Surprisingly, Ennard had an affinity for soft things.

Currently the bot was lightly petting the head of one of his stuffed dogs as he watched his master pace the small office like a caged animal.

"Issss there sssssomething wrong ssssir?" He finally asked, and Acid paused in his pacing gazing at the ground.

"It's driving me mad. It's going to make me lose my mind." He proclaimed, his voice in that exasperated tone.

"What issss ssssir?" The bot asked with a tilt of his head.

Acid whipped around and threw out a hand in Michael's direction.

"That ***king beeping!" He then went over and motioned to the heart monitor with both hands. "Is it needed!? Is he even alive anymore!? How is that ***king heart still going?!" He turned and glared down at it as if it was the cause of all the pain in his life.

Ennard slowly rose to his feet and crept over gazing at his creator, he paused a moment to take in his disgruntled appearance.

Clothes covered in oil stains, hair likely standing on end by the caked on dust and dirt that had gathered up there. His cheeks were hollowed out, and his eyes had seemingly recessed themselves further into his skull resulting in this dark pit that surrounded them.

Acid lifted his hands and gripped his hair heaving for breath his eye twitching as he flinched occasionally for no reason.

"Ssssir?" The bot's voice was soft as he slowly raised a hand and placed it on his shoulder. Acid flinched away hard, but Ennard didn't let go.

After a moment the man managed to look at the amalgamation, when he did, his shoulders slumped and he heaved for breath eyes wide, like a deer in headlights.

"I…I hate that sound…" He finally whispered out, and Ennard nodded slowly.

"I know ssssir." He gave his shoulder a bit of a squeeze.

Andrew dropped his gaze from Ennard and allowed it to flit to Michael.

For a moment he just stared, before slowly lifting his hand and brushing the bangs of his wig from Michael's face. Ennard watched this all carefully, never quite sure what his master was going to do.

"Why…why were you enough for father and I…never was?" He let out a shaking breath, "why…was I never…never…" he inhaled shakily, "never…" he couldn't finish, and just grit his teeth bunching up his shoulders and heaving for breath. "Turn it off…." He ordered, and Ennard went over, easily plugging in one of his cords to the back of the machine and turning off the noise.

When silence fell, Andrew's shoulders dropped and he let out a hard breath closing his eyes.

"Good…now lets get back to work." He turned and went over to the monitors pulling up a chair again.

Ennard however stayed where he was, gazing at Andrew's back quietly as he lowered his hand from the machine.

The beeping of the heart monitor reminded him of that day too.

Seventeen years prior…

1983

Would anyone believe him if he said he hadn't meant for it to go this far?

Andrew sat in the waiting room of the hospital, bouncing his knee and biting his nails.

***k…***k…***K.

How did this happen? It wasn't supposed to bite down! It wasn't…he didn't mean…

He yelped suddenly as a spike of pain surged from his fingers, his eyes fell to them only to find the very tips of his index and middle finger bleeding.

For a moment he stared at the bloody tops confused.

Was this…his blood…or…

He swallowed and wrapped an arm around his stomach as it churned uncomfortably.

He could still taste the bile from when he had first thrown up.

"Andrew." The cold voice of his father made him lift his head to the man, he stood there, towering over Acid even though the teenager was a good height for his age.

Though perhaps that had to do with Andrew hunching over and bunching himself up all the time.

He slowly stood and fidgeted with his hands as they clasped before him.

"H…how…how is…" but William spotted something, and with a furrow of his brow he came over and snatched up Andrew's hands and gazed at the bleeding tips of his fingers with icy eyes.

"What the ***l do you think you're doing?" He hissed, and Andrew froze, staring at his fingers and then up at his father.

"I…I didn't…"

"Stop trying to ***king get attention Andrew." He shoved Andrew's hand back to him and the boy stumbled slightly but caught himself.

He kept his head and gaze low befoe swallowing. "How…how is…how is he…?"

"How the ***k do you think genius?" Andrew swallowed again, only for his chin to be grabbed and his head to be lifted so he was forced to look at the narrowed eyes of his father. "Do you even realize what you did? Or are you too dense to get it? Half you brother's head was ***king crushed. Why? Because stupid little Andrew got his feelings hurt." He roughly let go of his jaw forcing Andrew to take a step back. The teenager nervously began to bite at his fingernails again, but inevitably ended up biting the tips of his fingers instead due to the lack of nail height present.

"I didn't…I didn't mean…I didn't know it would…"

"Shut up and get in the ***king car." William growled turning away from him, Andrew lifted his gaze only to step forward slightly.

"Can't I go see-"

"Pretty sure you've done enough." Snapped the man before turning to Andrew, "and by some off chance he woke up, do you think he would really want to see your idiotic face?" He asked, and Andrew faltered.

"But…I just…I want to see-"

He was cut off as William stepped forward grabbing Andrew by his bloodied shirt.

"Stay away from my son Andrew." He growled lowly, and Andrew gazed back at him wide eyed.

"Yessir." He finally whispered out, and seemingly satisfied, William released him before going over to the desk, likely to talk to the receptionists about paperwork.

Andrew stared at him, and then let his eyes go to the double sliding doors that led outside.

Then his eyes went to the door that he knew led to Michael's room.

He shouldn't go in there.

Father would be very angry.

But then again, when was father…not angry with him?

His eyes briefly darted to William who was talking with the receptionist and had his back to Andrew.

This was his chance.

Reaching into his pocket and holding onto the three cords and singular animatronic eye within. Andrew hurried to the room.

It was quite a ways down the hallway and he had to pass by several employees, but it was a busy night, they didn't seem to care about him.

Despite the blood coated over him.

Though maybe he had just gotten good at sneaking.

With a breath, he finally made it to the door that now was the only thing standing between him…and likely the biggest mistake of his life.

Now that he was here, Andrew couldn't bring himself to open the door.

It was never supposed to go this far.

Cords wound themselves around his fingers, and slowly Andrew lifted his hand from his pocket and gazed down at the purple eye that looked up at him from where it rested in his palm.

But Andrew couldn't hold it's gaze. "I'm…I'm gonna go in." He countered no one quietly.

His eyes flitted briefly back to the eye and three cords that wrapped around his fingers.

"…I…I am." That was quieter this time.

The eye moved until it was looking at the door, and then turned to look back at him.

"…alright. I'm going in." That was admitted with a slump of his shoulders.

Andrew let out a breath and slowly turned the knob and opened the door. It let out a soft creak as the joints whined. But he ignored that, and took a step inside.

When he did, his eyes automatically went to the small form on the bed.

His stomach did a wallop at the sight of all those bandages with blood stains. There was the soft beeping of the heart monitor indicating life within the fragile and broken child.

Andrew found himself frozen in place, unable to move forward another step.

He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out, and it wasn't as if he was given the chance to speak.

The heart monitor started beeping loudly as Michael's heart rate spiked. Andrew's eyes widened and he hurried into the room going over.

"Michael?! Michael what's wrong!?" It was a stupid question to ask, but ask it he did.

However it was then that doctors and nurses poured in, shoving him aside as they quickly got to work trying to help him.

"Is he okay!? What's going on!?" He asked, but no one paid him mind.

Of course this chaos attracted his father, who yanked him out of the room and whipped on him. "What did you do!?" He demanded, and Andrew stared back at him wide eyed, the beeping still blaring out from the room and he looked at the door before his attention was forcibly brought back to his father when he shook him.

"Andrew! What the ***l did you do?!" He demanded again, and Andrew opened his mouth, but the beeping only seemed to be getting louder, and he looked at the door again, his father jerked his attention back to him again.

"ANSWER ME *****IT!" He ordered, and Andrew looked between the door and his father, and as if his brain was short circuiting. He was unable to respond.

The beeping just kept getting louder, so loud he curled up and held his ears. His father was shouting, but all he could hear was that cursed beeping noise.

It wasn't until pain burst from his face and mouth that he stumbled back, the beeping dying down.

When reality came back into focus, Andrew was against the wall, and his mouth was wetter than normal, pain pulsing from it with every beat of his heart.

He lifted his hand to touch it only to find a gap where one of his front upper teeth was once.

Slowly his eyes lifted to his father who gazed down at him coldly, the man opened his mouth, whether to scold, accuse or rip into…Andrew would never know.

As suddenly the doctor exited the room and before he caught sight of Andrew, the teenager quickly shut his mouth and wiped the excess blood from his face.

Father would be even angrier if someone found out…

"Mr. Afton?" The doctor asked, and William took a soft breath, calming down before turning to the man.

"Yes?"

But both Andrew and William knew what the doctor was going to say before he said it.

After all, there was no beeping from the heart monitor anymore.

Present Day
2000

Fred glanced back over his shoulder, grimacing at the sight of those little monstrosities. However, just as he turned to see where he was going, he found a wall.

The toy bear skid to a halt but the momentum carried him right into what had to be a reinforced wall.

There was a crashing sound and Fred stumbled back trying to reorient himself, however he was given little time to recover, as the sound of scraping metal drove him to move on. Lest he be dog piled by the monsters behind him.

However, his evasion only worked for so long, as when he turned to the corner, he ran right into the nightmare bear.

He instantly knew that something had to be wrong with Freddy.

If he knew anything about the older bear, it's that he wouldn't just give up.

"N…no! No!" Fred cried, taking steps back. The nightmare rumbled a laugh.

"Yes! Yes!"

Fred looked around wildly, before turning to the beast before him. "What did you do to him?!" He demanded, and the nightmare bear rumbled a laugh.

"You'll soon find out little bear." He growled, and then sprung for Fred. The bear let out a cry of surprise and ducked to the side quickly. He collided with the wall before bolting down the hallway. However he wasn't fast enough and one of the miniature Freddy's grabbed ahold of his calf. Fred cried out in pain and hopped down the hall mid shaking his leg to try and be rid of the creature, but it was useless. The shaking beast had locked his jaws and wasn't going to let go.

So, now with his unwelcome companion, Fred ran down the hall as fast as he could.

The building shook with the stomping feet of the nightmare behind him.

Fred wasn't sure he could outrun him, and he couldn't think about what happened to Freddy.

He didn't say he killed him! Freddy might be still alive!

This was not a way his body was supposed to work.

He tried to tell Gabriel that but the child wouldn't listen, and at the moment they didn't have another option so Freddy had little choice.

So here he was, standing on his paws upside down and feeling his old joints shake under the strain.

His arms weren't built like his legs and they weren't meant to carry his weight.

But he had to try.

So Freddy shakily walked down the hallway on his paws. Gabriel hovered besides him watching over him worriedly.

Do you need my help? I can help, I can take control and help you out.

The boy offered, for the fourth time, Freddy mocked a breath.

"No Gabriel, this body is already damaged. You know how much it strains it when you take control." He said sternly, but the boy stopped a moment, lowering his head and nodding.

Yes, right I'm sorry.

Freddy looked toward his ghostly companion before mocking a breath.

"No. I'm sorry I know you just want to help. I shouldn't have said-"

"Who are you talking to? Is it Gabriel? The kid that was put in you?" The sudden voice startled Freddy enough to break his concentration and send him to the ground.

He let out a grunt and groan and there was a hiss from the speaker resulting in a bad feedback.

"Ahhhh, my bad. Sorry my curiosity got the best of me. Is it Gabriel?" The voice, who Freddy soon concluded was Acid spoke up again and the bear lifted his gaze looking around trying to find a camera. Then he spotted a small red light in the upper corner of the room.

"Acid." He growled curling his paw into a fist.

"Yup! That's me! Wow, you guys' memory capacity still surprises me sometimes! It's really remarkable what the Byrd's were able to do so long ago." He hummed, and Freddy grit his teeth, not in the mood to be in a conversation with this psychopath.

"So this is you huh? You did this?" His eyes narrowed, "you killed Chica and Chia?" A growl burst from his voicebox, there was empty silence filled with white noise for a moment.

"Well yes, I did. And you are going to die as well."

"No! We aren't! We are going to beat that monster! Then we are gonna come and stuff you in a suit and dismantle you!" Gabriel barked, using his voicebox.

"Oh! So it IS you Gabriel! Wow, it's funny you know." He paused, and Freddy could almost see the manic grin on his face. "Susie said the same thing."

Freddy winced, and looked to Gabriel, the boy was staring up at the camera, the blacks of his eyes were slowly turning red.

"She was screaming and crying, which is weird ya know? Cause she's already died. What's one more time?" Acid asked, and Freddy was already suspecting that he was taunting the boy purposefully.

But of course the child didn't realize that and was getting progressively angrier.

"Gabriel, he's trying to get you angry." The bear tried, but it was pointless and he knew it. Gabriel always had the worst temper and once he reached this point. He couldn't be reasoned with.

And he could already feel his control slipping away.

"I am? Well…is it working then? I can't honestly tell. Cause…I mean…you're a ghost." Acid admitted, and it was then that Freddy lost control and was sent to the backseat.

"Shut up! Shut up! I'm going to kill you! Then you'll be a ghost!" He shouted, and tried to push himself up, seemingly forgetting that they no longer have legs. Freddy tried to speak to him, but the boy wasn't listening.

There was a cackle that came from the speaker.

"Oh really!? I'd like to see you try! Oh Ennard!" He called, causing feedback into the speaker.

Freddy tensed, Ennard…wasn't that the creature that Ashford had been afraid of before?

There was the sound of wires and cords that grinded against each other. Slowly Gabriel turned and looked behind them.

There stood the creature at the end of the hall, staring down at them with that one purple eye.

"He made thissss far too eassssy huh?" Taunted the bot, and Gabriel grit his teeth.

"***K off!" He swore, and if it was other circumstances, Freddy would've been aghast. But given their situation, the bear understood the sentiment that Gabriel was trying to express.

The amalgamation chuckled and walked over to them, and despite Gabriel trying to crawl away with all his effort, Freddy knew they couldn't flee from the beast.

Cords snuck under their casing, wrapping around joints and central beams of their endoskeleton.

"NO! NO! Let go!" Gabriel screamed, struggling and reaching back, trying to rip the cords from his body. But it was useless.

"Ssstop wiggling sssso much." Ennard scolded, and tightened the cords causing the bear and child to freeze as the pressure caused pain.

"Ah! No!" Gabriel cried, and then let out a sharp gasp as suddenly they were being pulled back toward Ennard. The child started clawing and scrambling at the ground trying to escape but Freddy knew it was already over.

"Gabriel." He spoke, as the child desperately struggled, "Gabriel listen to me." But a sob escaped the boy who continued to fail in getting a grip.

Finally they were lifted from the ground and the cords snaked up to their neck winding around tighter and tighter then the coil before it.

"NO! NO! LET US GO! NO I'M NOT DYING AGAIN!" The child screamed struggling uselessly against the clearly superior robot.

"G…Gabriel it's gonna be okay." The bear tried, his voice box straining at the increasing pressure on it.

"NO! NO! THIS ISN'T HAPPENING AGAIN!" The boy continued to scream…and Freddy wished he could do something. Hold the boy who had long forgotten what an embrace was like. Comfort the child who should've never been in this position in the first place.

Freddy wanted to rip Ennard apart piece by piece and prove to Gabriel that the bear could protect him despite his failure the first time.

As Gabriel screamed and cried, and Freddy's voicebox cracked, rendering it useless. Freddy clawed at the cords with his young companion.

It was useless, but the bot still tried.

Fifteen years prior…
1985

Freddy powered on in the night for an inexplicable reason.

The restaurant was still closed, and the night guard still seemed to be in his office. So why was he waking up?

His body felt oddly cumbersome, like the first time he had attempted walking, the day of his creation, when he didn't know his paw from his foot.

Yet somehow, this time was even more so.

There was something wrong, that's what his programming whispered, there was something wrong with him.

But what was it?

And why did he hear the soft cries of a child?

Was there one still here? Is that why he woke?

Freddy looked around the dark pizzeria, trying to find the source of the crying, but there was no one that his senses could pick up.

Yet the crying persisted, getting louder.

Freddy stepped forward, only to freeze, his eyes lifting to the camera, the red light was off though. So the guard wasn't on this camera.

More then likely the man was asleep in there.

Deciding to see if his companions were awake, Freddy turned to look at his stage mates.

Only for all his joints to go stiff.

What the…

Why was there pizza sauce all over them?

They both were still powered off, but he stepped over to Bonnie all the same. Every step was cumbersome. Like there was something inside him.

But all that should be inside him was his endoskeleton.

Was this one of those 'pranks' that the older children always talked about?

Freddy froze as his foot landed in something wet, causing the fur to squish noisily. Briefly drowning out the ever persistent child's sobs.

The bear lowered his gaze only to find a puddle of the most liquidy pizza sauce he had ever seen.

It had the consistency of a warm smoothie. Still thick, but not as thick as sauce.

How strange.

His eyes lifted to Bonnie, who still stood, mouth agape and head down. His guitar was placed unceremoniously against him, but not in his sauce covered arms.

What was going on here?

Why was the crying getting louder?

Was there an error in his systems? Should he report it to the Byrds? Afton always told him to report any bugs to him and him alone.

The Byrds were very busy.

So perhaps when the man came in the morning Freddy would ask him what was the matter.

But it was still several hours before morning, and if it was something important then he should investigate himself.

However his companions were worrying him.

Why was there so much pizza sauce?

Slowly he reached up a paw, it was perhaps strange to open up his friend's chest to see what was inside. But that is where all the sauce was coming from! What if some of his inner workings were messed up?

So, the bear reached out to press the release of the latches that held their chest pieces in place.

But he could never reach the button.

His hand froze mid air and he stared at the shaking limb incredulously. There was something very wrong! What had happened-

NO! Don't open that!

A child's voice commanded, making Freddy jerk and look around the pizzeria with wide eyes.

But once again there was no one there.

"The pizzeria is closed little one! Would you like me to get our guard and have him call your parents?" He inquired, eyes sweeping the dining room to try and find the elusive child.

No! You can't go get the guard!

Commanded the child once more, and Freddy's brows furrowed, "but why? He is here to help and keep everyone safe!"

Safe? Safe!? He is a monster! A…a….

The child trailed, his voice breaking, Freddy's brows furrowed even further. The guard was a good man, they always were. They had to be! They were put in charge of keeping him and his friends safe!

He….he did this to me!

The boy cried, and Freddy frowned, "did what? Where are you? Perhaps I can help!"

The child went quiet a long moment, before finally he spoke in a whisper.

Look down Freddy. Look at yourself.

The bear hesitated, confused as to what the child was trying to tell him.

"Why?" However he did as the boy asked despite the question, only to mock a huff. "More pizza sauce. Did someone throw a bucket of it at us? The Byrds are not going to be happy! We have very sensitive inner workings that are not to be tampered wi-" He was cut off as his left hand started moving of it's own accord. Incredulously he stared at it watching as his paw reached out and hit the release button. Causing his latches to release the chest piece.

It swung open with a whine and Freddy stared down at his insides unsure of what he was looking at.

Whatever it was, it wasn't computing. His A.I couldn't seem to comprehend the sight he beheld.

"W…what….what is…" he trailed, and the child was quiet a long moment. When he spoke again, his voice tremored.

It's me.

"W…what? But…how…I don't…I don't understand…what do you…" Freddy stammered as his chip warmed up at all the processing it had to do, trying to comprehend the concept.

However, he was jerked from trying to understand when suddenly his legs started shakily moving without his accord.

"W…what…?" He stammered, staring down at his legs as they proceeded with a janky and awkward walk. Heading for the stairs attached to the stage.

"Wh…what are you doing!?" He finally demanded, forcing his limbs to stop, but seemingly was fighting the control of a being other then himself.

Ugh! Stop fighting me! This is really hard!

"Hard? What are you trying to do!?" He demanded, and the child let out a noise of frustration.

I need to stop him! He can't do this again!

"Do what!? Who did what!? What is happening!?" The bear continued to demand.

The killer! The one who did this to me! I have to stop him! He can't do this to anyone else! Now….stop….fighting….ME!

And suddenly, with a lurch of his body, everything went black for Freddy.

When he came to, he was in a different room then before. A quick inspection of his surroundings found him in parts and service. But when did he get here?

Was he being worked on?

It was dawn, sunlight was bleeding through the small window at the top of the wall he faced.

What had happened?

The last thing he remembered was talking with that peculiar child…

Freddy stiffened up where he stood and looked down at his chest. There was even more pizza sauce! What had happened!?

It wasn't him.

The child's voice made him jump, and the ghostly apparition appearing next to him made the bear jerk away.

He stared wide eyed at the floating ghost whose eyes were blackened out, and that very same blackness leaked out from the pits that were his eyes in the form of tear tracks.

"Wh...who wasn't who? What happened?" The bear demanded, he was a robot, he shouldn't feel anxious, but he did.

The child grit his teeth and curled his hands into fists.

It wasn't him! I'm still here! It wasn't him!

Freddy stared incredulously at the child, not knowing what he was talking about, until his eyes fell to the suit that sat slumped at his feet. It was one of his extra casings. Made for situations like the one he was in.

But there was pizza sauce on this one too! Where was it all coming from? And…what were those…things coming out of the eye socket…

Freddy let out a undignified shout as his processor identified the objects as eyes, and they weren't large enough to be animatronic eyes. No…they were…human eyes.

He turned back to the ghost and stared at him wide eyed.

"Wh…what did you do….?" The child avoided looking at him, arms crossed.

He looked like him! He was wearing the same clothes! How was I supposed to know it wasn't him!?

Freddy was a bit slow to process what he was saying, but when he did his eyes widened and he looked down at the sauce…the bloodied suit at his feet. Both hands went up to his maw and he stared down at it wide eyed.

"No…" the image of his own insides from earlier made the bear freeze up and pull back his hands, staring at the bloodied fur. "No…who…who did…who…who could do this…?" He whispered, eyes lifting to the child floating before him.

For a moment the boy didn't answer, but his shoulders hiked up and he inhaled sharply. Freddy stared at him, brows turning down in concern as more and more blackness leaked from the child's eyes. Spilling over as his small body was wracked with sobs.

W…why did this happen? I…I thought he was going to give me a balloon! I…I…

Freddy stared up at the boy wide eyed, shoulders slumping, before slowly his eyes dropped down to his stomach, where the boy's body lie.

He placed both paws there as the boy continued to sob.

It's not fair! It's so cold! I can't feel anything!

He shook, and slowly lowered to the ground curling up and hugging himself as he rocked back and forth.

What did I do wrong?! I thought I was a good boy!

He continued to cry, his breath catching despite no longer needing to breathe.

I want my mommy! She left! They both left! They left me here! I want to go home! I want to go h…home…

He broke into a whimper curling up and holding his head.

Freddy stared for a moment, before mocking a swallow and taking lumbersome footsteps over to the child. He crouched down and despite the boy just being a ghost, Freddy did his best to keep his hand atop his head.

"I'm so sorry…" he whispered, causing the boy to look up at him, Freddy mocked a sigh. "What…what that man did…whoever he is. It was terrible."

The boy nodded with a sniffle.

I want him to pay.

He claimed with a set of his jaw.

Freddy gazed at him quietly before looking at the man in the suit, "I'll help you." He turned back to the child, "we'll find the man who did this, and we'll make him pay."

The boy gazed up at him before rubbing his nose, he sniffed and then held up a hand, pinky extended.

Pinky promise?

The bear blinked, and looked at his hand, before raising his substantially larger one and extended his equivalent of a pinky. Hooking it around the image of the boy's.

"Pinky promise."

Present day
2000

"I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL ****KING KILL YOU! YOU'LL SEE!" Gabriel screamed, thrashing in Ennard's grip. The bot however remained impassive.

Freddy however knew they didn't have much time, the cords were already winding around his endoskeleton head.

He pushed against Gabriel's control until the boy's ghostly apparition was thrown from Freddy's body.

The boy regained his normal floating position and looked down at his hands, his eyes widened.

Freddy!

He tried to re-enter the bear, but Freddy did his best to resist, Gabriel let out a frustrated noise.

Freddy let me back in! We have to fight him! Freddy, why are you…

Unable to speak, Freddy reached out a paw and shakily held it above Gabriel's head, gazing at him best he could with the ever tightening cords.

The boy froze, and gazed up at his paw…a few rebellious tears leaked out from his eyes and slowly he reached up holding onto Freddy's large paw with his two small hands. He then turned his wide eyes back to Freddy and stared at him a long moment, the anger fading as more and more black tears leaked from his eyes.

F…Freddy…I'm scared…

The boy whimpered out wide eyed.

Freddy, best he could, gave the boy two small pats on the head in reassurance…

And…then everything went black with a sickening crack.

Fred was hauled up into the half, and thrust headfirst into the wall, creating a dent in the metal, reinforced walls.

He let out a cry, as his helmet cracked, however the monster wasn't done. Fred hit the wall again, resulting in another cry, and splitting his helmet completely in half, both pieces fell to the ground only to be attached and ravaged by the little bots.

Fred struggled against the beast that held him, but it resulted in very little.

Fred! Fight him!

Chimed in Jake, as he tried to help Fred thrash in the hands of the beast.

He's gonna crush our head!

He informed helpfully, but there wasn't much Fred could do about it.

There was a bellowing laugh as nightmare threw him against the wall, but this time Fred threw up his hands causing them to take the impact instead of his endoskeleton head.

There was a pause from the nightmare and that's all that Fred needed.

He kicked the bear in the stomach and to his surprise he stumbled back, Fred was dropped to the ground and once again shocking him the small Freddy's didn't attack.

Did we win?

Jake asked, but Fred didn't answer, he slowly pushed himself up on his shaky and weaker arms.

Slowly the smallest of the three bears looked around only to go stiff at the sight of a fallen over nightmare Freddy and the amalgamation that stood over his body slowly reconstructing himself by pulling back his cords. Next to their master lie the crushed and destroyed small Freddy's.

Fred stared wide eyed before quickly getting to his feet. Slipping slightly but managing to recover.

But he never got the chance to recover, as the last thing his audio receptors picked up was a sickening crack, Jake's scream.

And then nothing.

Rip Freddy, Fred, Gabriel and Jake.

What did y'all think of the flashbacks? What of Acidrew? Or the Gabriel and Freddy one? Did they hit the feels? Did they not? Do you think Colt will be able to contain the funtimes?

I'd love to hear what you think!
