Ochako stands in one of the training forests near the edge of UA's grounds, shadows of the setting sun creeping along the ground as an eerie silence falls as the birds begin to fall asleep for the night.
'Oh Iida, you've been a decent friend for my Izuku, but I can't let your comments at the entrance exam slide, nor can I ignore you stealing my Izuku's spotlight when you became class representative.' Ochako thinks as she plays with a small box in her hands, 'You even had the gall to leave my Izuku for Todoroki during the sports festival. Oh no, I can't let even the tiniest bit of harm happen to my Izuku. He deserves only the best.'
As Ochako's musings come to a close the loud crashing of a man hurrying through a forest is heard.
'Always so noisy.' Ochako thinks before masking her emotions.
"Uraraka! What is so urgent you had to see me right before curfew?" Iida shouts as he stiffly points to his watch upon arrival in the small clearing.
"Oh, Iida well, you see, it's about Deku." Ochako says with a slightly nervous air to her voice.
"Ah, yes, he has been looking tired of late, but I think any planning to help regularize his sleep schedule can wait for tomorrow!" Iida announces.
"It's not that. It's well, I just wanted to check something first." Ochako says, looking at Iida's feet.
"Alright, what is it?" Iida asks a note of curiosity in his normally assertive voice.
"Well, you see, I think I like Deku, and I just wanted to make sure you didn't like him too before I confess." Ochako says, looking Iida in the eyes.
"Uh.. Uh...I'm afraid I am attracted to girls. Not that it is a bad thing to like men but..." Iida stammers, arm chopping wildly as he looks in all directions but Ochako.
Unfortunately this was the exact moment he should have been looking at Ochako as she opens the box she was holding and pulls out a damp towel, using the grappling skills she learned at her internship she quickly cover's Iida's mouth and nose with the towel, his eyes full of shock as the chloroform forces him into a deep sleep in moments, his struggle against Ochako's hold only half hearted as he thinks even this was just a prank.
Gently placing Iida's body on the ground Ochako watches the last of the sun's light disappear from the sky as she tapes both the towel and the box to Iida before standing up to admire her work.
'In the end I don't hate you Iida, so I won't make you suffer.' Ochako thinks as she looks down at her friend. 'It's a shame it has to be this way, in another world I'm sure you would have been a great friend, but my Izuku deserves only the best.' Her darkened eyes turn once more to the sky as she giggles evilly.
Once the moonless night was sufficiently dark, Ochako bent down and touched Iida with five fingers, activating her quirk, before giving him a strong shove in the upward direction and pushing her quirk to its limits to send him to space as fast as possible.
Nobody saw Iida as he rushed skyward, soon he was out of sight of even Ochako and she began walking back to her dorm, thinking of her Izuku. Soon Iida was at such a great altitude he would have fallen asleep from oxygen deprivation even if he wasn't already asleep, and not long after that he passed painlessly among the stars. After an hour or so Ochako released her quirk, but Iida was out of Earth's orbit already, never to be seen again.
Iida's absence was noticed the next morning, but no action was taken to find him until after classes. Attempts to call him were met with out of service notifications and soon he was reported missing. UA staff questioned class 1-A but no one knew where he was and nobody had seen him since dinner the day before. Without answers, Iida's case was eventually handed over to the police, but no conclusion was ever drawn. All Might did not connect Iida's disappearance with Bakugo's death, but kept copies of all reports anyway.
