Chapter Fourteen: A Fierce Battle's Dusk

"I'M NOT WEAAAAK!" Nappa roared, as he thrusted himself towards Tien. Tien looked back, his eyes widened, unable to react in time, however, Yamcha appeared from thin air, his aura bursted red, as he slammed his foot against the side of Nappa's head.

Nappa instantly was sent for miles, crashing through several debris. After that, nothing, Nappa was down for good, and Yamcha inhaled deeply as he let a sigh of relief escape him.

"I think it's over." Yamcha said, rubbing the sweat off of his forehead.

Tien let out a sigh of relief as well. "Thanks Yamcha, for a second there, I thought he might've gotten me."

Yamcha gave a thumbs up in response, before sitting down. "Now what? Should we rest? Or should we help Goku and the others?"

Krillin looked to the sky, sensing energy. "We should probably find Piccolo first, make sure he's okay. I can feel his energy but still."

Tien nodded. "Agreed. Then we'll go help Goku."

"Maybe you should sit this out." Krillin said, turning around. "You're really hurt Tien, your body is burnt out, and if you push any further you might die."

Tien shook his head. "I'm fine." He replied. "We have to help the others, I can still fight."

"Sorry, but I have to agree with Krillin." Yamcha added. "You need to take some rest at least, don't get in unless it's an emergency."

Tien raised a brow. "You want me to play as support, seriously? Come on guys." He asked. The two didn't respond, keeping the same faces on. Tien sighed deeply. "Alright, Fine."

After the four checked on Piccolo, who still was unconscious when they got over there, they hurried to where Goku, Raditz, and Vegeta were along with Piccolo who was now woken by the four. On the way they met up with Gohan to their surprise.

"G-Gohan?" Krillin said. "What're you doing here?"

"M-My Dad told me to get you guys." Gohan answered, a frown formed on his face. "That jerk knocked out my Uncle Raditz, and my Dad needs help…" At least that's what Gohan had guessed, it was pretty obvious but he sounded unsure.

"Well then I guess we're on good timing, let's not waste anymore time." Tien spoke up. The others nodded in response, with Tien flying first, they all followed a bit behind.

Vegeta looked around the field, as he searched for Goku. "Come out, Kakarot! And face your fate!" Vegeta shouted. "You will pay for your crimes, Kakarot!" He took a few steps forward, glancing around some more. To the right! A blast had fired itself, Vegeta whipped quickly, ignoring the tiny blast that struck him. There! Vegeta fired a small blast from his finger, but Goku was already gone.

"Don't be shy! After all, this all happened because of you! It is your fault!" Vegeta yelled. "Perhaps if you'd done your job and wiped out this miserable planet, you wouldn't be having to face such a brutal death!"

Goku continued to remain silent as Vegeta tried to taunt him out of hiding. Goku formed an energy sphere above his hand, making it twice the size of a large soccer ball then floated it towards Vegeta. Goku quickly moved to the opposite side of Vegeta doing the same, as Vegeta noticed the first one.

Before Vegeta had time to ask questions, the two spheres unleashed a volley of energy blasts, as they gradually became smaller, then in front of Vegeta, Goku unleashed a massive volley of his own blasts.

"Not one for using this many energy blasts, but it looks like I don't have a choice." Goku said to himself. He continuously fired dozens of ki blasts, before Vegeta hurled a fist at him, Goku dodged the first fist, and ducked from the next one, but the massive foot that kicked him, sent Goku flying.

As Goku rebalanced himself, Vegeta came in to throw another fist, but Goku dropped to the ground. Vegeta lifted his foot attempting to stomp on Goku, but Goku jumped up, and then Vegeta clapped his hands together at Goku, missing as Goku floated higher above Vegeta.

Goku fired another energy blast on the same eye, yet Vegeta inched his head away, then after removing his gaze to Goku, Goku unleashed a powerful blinding light.

"Solar Flare!" Goku yelled. Vegeta's now only working eye had become blind, and his senses were hindered. Goku tried to distance himself, assuming Vegeta was too focused on the pain, but Vegeta scarcely felt Goku try to slip away, and released a powerful explosive wave of energy that went in all directions.

Goku was blown away, and harshly plummeted into the ground.

"Y-You may have blinded me! But that doesn't mean I still can't feel you when you're nearby!" Vegeta shouted, closing his eyes shut. "In my true form my senses are heightened on top of already having stronger senses than the average race!"

About a few hundred feet away, Goku broke himself free from the rubble, the top of his shirt now torn to shreds. "D-Damn it." Goku winced. He stood back up on his feet. "That one really got me good. I'm not sure how much longer I can fight this guy! He's almost too strong!"

Goku glanced at Raditz, then back at Vegeta. "Come on, Raditz. Wake up!" He muttered. Conveniently for Goku, the others had arrived, landing next to Goku.

"I-Is that, that Vegeta guy?" Krillin asked. Goku nodded. "Damn, looks like we got our work cut out for us."

"Yeah, and normal attacks don't seem to work on him." Goku replied.

"Have you tried cutting his tail?" Yamcha suggested.

Goku nodded. "Yeah, but he was still able to sense my movements despite being blinded by the Solar Flare."

"Even the solar flare couldn't completely block his senses?" Tien looked surprised. Goku shook his head in response. "Then we'll have to try something different."

Piccolo faced Krillin. "Could you try that disk attack again, and this time make it bigger?"

"Yeah, but what if he senses it coming?" Krillin pointed out. "It won't home in on him, even if I moved it back."

"If the attack is large enough, he shouldn't be able to dodge it." Piccolo said. "We can distract him, at least long enough, and then when you see your opportunity, strike his tail."

"At that point wouldn't it be better for Krillin to cut Vegeta in half with it?" Yamcha asked.

Piccolo shook his head. "Bigger doesn't always mean more powerful, besides I doubt it'll be enough energy to defeat Vegeta. This is a much better choice, it has a higher chance of success."

"Agreed." Tien said.

"We better hurry." Goku said, he pointed to Vegeta. "Looks like his eyesight is beginning to come back!" The others nodded, distancing themselves from each other. "Come on Gohan!" Goku flew from the rock formation, and Gohan followed.

"I heard voices!" Vegeta shouted. He tried to glance around but his vision was still blurry, he saw colored tiny spots move away and separate from him. "There are more of you, I don't know how you beat Nappa, but it doesn't matter, you'll all perish by my hands!" He tried to blink a couple of times but his vision still needed time to heal.

Vegeta was growing impatient, so furiously he slammed his fist in the ground, causing a roaring earthquake that caused every nearby rock formation to shake, some to crumble, the ground cracked for several miles, and raging winds nearly blew everyone off their balance except Gohan.

Gohan had lost his balance, and been blown away, unable to stop himself, fearing for his life as he approached the ground. Fortunately, Goku managed to catch him before he'd fallen.

"Be more careful, Gohan." Goku said.

Gohan nodded. "Sorry Dad."

Goku tousled his hair. "That's okay, why don't you head home?" Goku asked. "It'll be safer for you there."

Gohan looked surprised. "What? But Dad, I wanna help!"

"Okay, but then you gotta promise me, you can handle yourself okay?" Goku said. "I can't keep saving you like that, alright?"

Gohan swallowed and nodded, putting on a serious look. "Yes!"

Goku smiled. "Good. Let's go, we're gonna attack him from below, that way we can attack Vegeta without him being able to find us as easily, right?"

Gohan nodded in response.

"Alright, everyone ready?" Tien asked, establishing a telepathic connection. "It looks like his vision is coming back."

"Ready!" Yamcha answered, he flared his aura, taking his stance.

Krillin raised his one finger, circling it around. "Yeah."

"Let's get this over with." Piccolo replied. "What's our plan?"

"Goku and Gohan will be attacking from the sidelines, shooting energy blasts to draw Vegeta's attention." Tien explained. "Meanwhile, we'll strike him in a short but powerful burst, and stall him until Krillin's attack is ready." Noticing Vegeta's eyesight return as Vegeta glanced around, his expression widened. "Let's go!"

"What're those ants planning?" Vegeta wondered. He looked for his first target, although he wanted to take care of Goku first, he wasn't in sight, Yamcha was on his right, Tien on the far left, unsuspectingly, Piccolo was far to the south, and Krillin was hidden behind a large boulder. "I think my first target shall be the Namekian. He was capable enough to defeat Nappa, might as well take him out."

Vegeta set his eyes on Piccolo, who reacted immediately, firing a powerful yellow energy blast at his face and leaping back. The blast had no effect on Vegeta, even the tiny amount of smoke could not blind him. A wide smirk formed on Vegeta as he got closer, and threw his fist at Piccolo, which Piccolo narrowly dodged.

"What the hell kind of speed?!" Piccolo gasped. "You two better act quick, he's fast, I don't know if I can outrun him." Vegeta immediately threw another fist at Piccolo and Piccolo had little time to react, he put his two arms in front of him in an attempt to block it, but he was still sent flying.

The second after, Yamcha and Tien came from the sides, and took a powerful hit to where his kidneys should be, but the attack had no effect. The two looked shocked, and attempted to leave quickly, but were blown away by a powerful wave of energy exerted from Vegeta.

"What the hell was that?! He didn't even feel it!" Yamcha shouted.

"Hit him somewhere more vital, like his jaw, or his gut, maybe try to penetrate through his knees or elbow with an energy blast." Piccolo suggested, as he was trying to dodge Vegeta's attacks. Goku and Gohan fired a bunch of energy blasts from the side, causing a large amount of smoke in Vegeta's face.

Vegeta tried to wave off the smoke, and move away from it, but some of it still trailed. Piccolo was able to get further away, but not before Vegeta charged after Piccolo, then Yamcha and Tien came from behind, and slammed their fists against Vegeta's jaw as they flew upward.

"Now!" Piccolo shouted. Yamcha and Tien slammed their feet onto Vegeta's left elbow, and Goku and Gohan slammed their feet onto Vegeta's right elbow. Then Piccolo took his two index fingers to his forehead, sparking energy around his forehead, before throwing it at Vegeta's gut, but Vegeta somersaulted backwards, and the blast struck his upper leg instead.

Vegeta bellowed a pained roar. "Y-You damn pest!" He growled. Ignoring the pain, he faced Piccolo and slammed his hand at Piccolo. Piccolo tried to jump away, but most of his body had still been hit and pushed through the rubble created from the stacked boulders Vegeta had been crushing.

"Oh no! Piccolo!" Goku shouted. Vegeta then faced Goku's direction, with a wide grin as he found him.

"There you are, Kakarot!" Vegeta smirked. He threw a fist against Goku, sending Goku flying, then Vegeta chased after him to stomp on Goku, but Goku quickly recovered and scarcely avoided the attack. Goku rose up, but Vegeta hurled another fist, causing Goku to plummet several yards away.

"D-Daddy!" Gohan cried.

Vegeta chuckled. "Don't worry, runt! You'll join him soon enough!" He threw a fist at Gohan, and Gohan froze from fear, couldn't move or even shake, staying still. However, to his rescue was Tien, his aura had beamed red.

Landing on a nearby rock formation, Tien turned off his red aura. "Are you okay?"

Gohan nodded. "T-Thanks Mister Tien."

"It's fine, let's just–agh!" Tien fell forward, coughing blood, the strain of the Kaioken had gotten to him, his muscles now extremely stiff and tight, his veins bulging crazily. Tien panted heavily, nearly collapsing, his body felt weak almost like jelly.

"M-Mister Tien!" Gohan gasped. "A-Are you okay!?"

"I'm fine just…" Tien faced Vegeta, noticing another fist heading towards their way. Immediately, he powered up once more, and threw Gohan far away, his aura then turned crimson. "Times Three!"

"Tien NO!" Krillin and Yamcha shouted simultaneously.

Tien flew forward, away from the fist, barely dodging it, and despite the incredible burning and agonzining pain, he unleashed a powerful energy beam aimed at Vegeta's already damaged eye.

"Dodon Raaaaay!" The blast had struck Vegeta's eye at the same time he'd slammed his fist into Tien. Tien went flying, crashing into a large boulder, creating a body sized crater on the side of it, sharp pieces of the boulder protruded forward into Tien's shoulders, a small splatter of blood appeared behind his head, and Tien's pupils were gone.

"N-No! Tien!" Krillin yelled. He clenched his right fist tightly, and generated the disk with his left hand, and furiously threw the disk towards Vegeta, expanding the disc's size swiftly. "Take this you bastard! Destructo Disk!"

The small disk that was only about twice the size of a dvd, approaching Vegeta's tail, expanded to a hundred times the size, Vegeta's eyes widened, the Great Ape reacted quickly trying to jump up but the disk followed.

Vegeta continued to go up, and fired an energy wave at it from his mouth, but the disk persisted. "Nononono!" Vegeta yelled. "You will not cut my tail!" He surrounded his tail with energy, and slammed his tail against it, causing it to be sent dozens of yards before imploding.

Vegeta lowered himself back to the ground, sighing with relief, Yamcha and Krillin gasped in horror.

"He..He dodged it!" Krillin gaped. Vegeta turned to Krillin, furiously growling, and Krillin looked terrified. Vegeta threw himself towards Krillin but Krillin jumped up, then Vegeta threw his fists at Krillin, and Krillin tried to dodge them.

However, Krillin could barely keep up, eventually one of them struck him, causing him to go flying, but Vegeta caught Krillin and threw him to the ground. Krillin plummeted immediately, but quickly recovered, and flared his aura, turning white to red.

"Kaioken!" He shouted. The next attack Vegeta threw missed, but Vegeta quickly adapted to Krillin's new speed, and threw his next fist faster, which Krillin narrowly dodged, then Vegeta unleashed a wide energy wave that struck Krillin and sent him flying.

Then he headed towards Yamcha, and despite all Yamcha did, he couldn't escape Vegeta's grasp, as Vegeta slammed him against the ground several times before tossing him aside. When Vegeta walked back to Krillin, to aim for a final strike, his movements stopped, his body stopped, refusing to obey Vegeta's command, he couldn't even speak, for some reason he suddenly froze.

"W-Why c-can't I m-move!" Vegeta growled. He could glance around but that was it, and then he had began to grow smaller, his power dropped, his fur disappeared, and his head and body returned to normal.

Vegeta's eyes widened. "H-How did I de-transform?!" Vegeta looked behind himself, and his eyes went wider. "No! NO! ANYTHING BUT THAT!" There it was, a stub of his tail, the rest of it? Gone. "M-My tail! Who the hell cut my tail!"

Vegeta tightened his fist, and turned around, there was a heavily panting Piccolo, who had a grin on his face.

"You! IT WAS YOU!" Vegeta accused.

Piccolo chuckled. "You should've watched your back." He said. "Deserves you rig-."

"HOW DARE YOU!" Vegeta interrupted, slamming a fist into Piccolo's gut as he darted to the Namekian. Vegeta hurled another fist against Piccolo's face, again and again to keep him up just enough so he could hurl another attack. "You will pay! YOU WILL ALL PAY!" Vegeta kneed Piccolo in the gut, causing Piccolo to fly a couple of feet off the ground, and slide off the ground.

"You hear me! Your torment will be legendary!" Vegeta announced. He walked up to Piccolo, who could now barely move, and kicked him across his jaw.

"M-Mister T-Tien?!" Gohan gasped, rushing to the former crane student. When Gohan came there, his limp body hanged from the sharp edges that protrude outward. The color from Gohan's face drained, short gasps escaped his breath as he looked at the lifeless eyes of Tien. "W-Wake Up!"

Gohan tried to shake him, but no movement. "W-Why!" He cried. Tears fell down his cheeks, as flashbacks formed in his head, it might've been a fake or different timeline Tien, but still, it…it was still him, and Tien had died, for him! "Why did you save me!"

Floating behind him, a familiar voice chuckled, and spoke. "What's the matter, brat? Are you hurt now?" He said. "Don't worry, you'll join him and your father soon enough!" Vegeta threw his fist at Gohan, but Gohan struck first, headbutting against Vegeta's chin.

Gohan's aura flared as the halfbreed growled furiously, lowering himself to the ground, gathering energy in his two hands. Two purple spheres formed from the swirling energy, Gohan shoved his hands forward and aimed it at Vegeta.

"You big jerk!" Gohan yelled. "DOUBLE SUNDAY!" The two purple spheres formed into violent waves of energy that collided into Vegeta as he stood up, having no time to react. After the smoke settled, revealing Vegeta to still be standing, Gohan charged after Vegeta, throwing multiple punches and kicks, which Vegeta barely avoided.

"Where did the brat get all this power?!" Vegeta thought. "Or have they weakened me that much?! No THAT ISN'T POSSIBLE!" Vegeta rammed his fist into Gohan's gut, then slammed another fist against Gohan's head, sending Gohan back to the ground.

Quickly after Gohan had fallen, he got back up, and flared his aura as he threw his knee against Vegeta's jaw, then threw a barrage of attacks once more.

"K-Krillin, are..you there?" Yamcha wheezed.

From afar, Krillin lay against the ground. "Y-Yeah…"

"Good. How much energy do you have left." Yamcha asked, pushing himself up from the ground.

Krillin pushed his hands against the ground, shakily lifting himself up, after a few seconds, he managed to stand. "Enough to stand I guess."

"That'll have to do. There's one thing we can try." Yamcha said, flying towards Krillin. "And it doesn't look like we got any other options."

"You don't mean the Spirit Bomb?" Krillin asked. "Yamcha! You know we can't do that!"

"We gotta try!" Yamcha answered. "Maybe if the both of us do it, maybe we might be able to keep the energy from backfiring."

Krillin shook his head. "No! If it fails, it'll kill us in this condition!"

"Krillin! What else can we do?!" Yamcha pointed out. "If we don't! We're all gonna die!"

Krillin bit his lip, closing his eyes shut before sighing. "Alright. Fine." He opened his eyes back up. "Hurry over here."

Yamcha nodded. "Right." In about ten seconds, Yamcha arrived next to Krillin, both raised their hands in the air. "Ready?"

"Ready." Krillin nodded. Both took a deep breath, before closing their eyes, and beginning to gather energy as they called out to the life forms on Earth, from the trees, to bushes, to even the smallest plant, the fishes, every single animal and seanimal, every being that would be willing to give their energy.

Slowly, small bits of energy collected to the two fighters, forming a tiny sphere of energy above them, bit by bit, it would grow and grow. As each ten seconds passed, the ball became more and more powerful.

"Almost there." Krillin said. "We just need a little more."

"BOOM!" A fist collided into Vegeta's cheek, sending him flying yet again. A fist that had been from Gohan as the halfbreed panted heavily before nearly collapsing to the ground, falling on his knees.

Gohan looked exhausted, his forehead had dried blood from earlier, there were cuts and bruises from earlier, but a specific marking, was a sharp wound around his right shoulder, that was still fresh. Gohan flinched, and groaned in pain.

A few seconds later, Vegeta had recovered, coming back to Gohan furiously as the young boy looked up, unable to protect himself. Vegeta picked Gohan up by the collar of his shirt, and slammed his fist into the side of Gohan's face, making him yelp.

"To think!" Vegeta snarled. He slammed his fist into Gohan's face again. "That a mere child could deal this much damage to me!" He slammed his fist another two times. "The Saiyan Prince! A Super Elite! And you drew my royal blood!" He rammed his knee into Gohan's gut, then slammed his forehead against Gohan's. "And a halfbreed of all people! You will suffer worse torture than you can imagine, boy!"

Vegeta drew his fist again, pulling it back, gathering energy as he aimed at Gohan, but before he could, Goku jumped from nowhere, hurling his fist against Vegeta's jaw, sending Vegeta flying for twenty feet before he'd stopped himself.

Goku caught his son before he fell. "Gohan! Are you okay?" Goku asked. Gohan winced and shook slightly before nodding. "Phew! Okay, you rest easy now, Daddy's gonna take care of him."

Goku floated away, placing Gohan away from the crossfire, then returned back to the field, as Vegeta stood back up, glaring at Goku.

"You have a lot of nerve, Kakarot!" Vegeta yelled. "You fools should've joined me when you had the chance!" He clenched his fist, and flared his aura.

"I have a lot of nerve? You came here and attacked us first!" Goku pointed out, he took his stance. "You've hurt my friends, killed some of them, and now you hurt my son?" Goku's anger boiled, clenching his fist. "Now you're gonna pay!" Goku flared his aura, and charged at Vegeta, who at the same time did as well.

The two fighter's fists collided, and generated a shockwave. Quickly, they drew their fists back, and hurled their other fists, clashing once again. After a few more collisions, they distanced themselves from each other, Vegeta threw a few energy blasts at Goku, which Goku quickly dodged, and Vegeta vanished, reappearing above Goku.

Goku jumped forward and clashed his upper arm against Vegeta's upper arm, electricity sparked, raging for a split second, before the two vanished once again. Reappearing, about twenty yards northeast, the two exchanged several blows prior to Goku slamming his elbow into Vegeta's gut, again, and again.

The fourth time, Vegeta caught his elbow, and gripped tightly, swinging Goku around, releasing his grip to throw Goku towards the ground, firing a couple of energy blasts that followed him as he crashed through a couple of boulders.

Vegeta darted forward, aiming his fist at Goku, but Goku rebalanced himself and evaded the attack, Vegeta's fist collided against the ground, causing it to collapse. Vegeta quickly repositioned himself, glanced around for Goku, but Goku had reappeared behind Vegeta kneeing him in the back.

As Vegeta went flying, Goku vanished, appearing in front of Vegeta about ten feet away, as Vegeta approached, Goku slammed his fist ferociously in Vegeta's gut. Vegeta's entire body froze, the Prince resisted from falling down, as blood and saliva poured out of his mouth. Vegeta lifted his head, trying to ignore the pain, grabbing Goku's next fist that he threw.

Vegeta hurled his fist against Goku's face, then elbowed him in the chest, pushing Goku to the ground. Then Vegeta slammed his foot into Goku's chest, causing Goku to scream in pain, slowly forcing his foot harsher and harder, the more Vegeta looked at Goku.

"Stupid Low Class trash!" Vegeta yelled. He threw a fist against Goku's face, then slammed his foot again, this time a loud crack could be heard from Goku's chest. "To have beaten me! Made me stoop to such a disgusting level! You will know torment beyond your wildest horrors!"

In the void of Raditz's consciousness…

"Where…Where am I?" Raditz said, flinching right after. "Agh! And why does every bone in my body feel hurt!" He continued to step through the void, deciding to walk around until he found something, but as he walked further and further, nothing had happened. "Man, what was I even doing before this."

Raditz placed his hand on his chin, thinking to himself. "It's on the tip of my tongue…." He shrugged, placing his arms behind his head."Eh, oh well, I don't think it was important. Vegeta will probably kill me for falling unconscious again in battle…" Raditz then stopped, and slapped his forehead. "Vegeta! That's right!"

Raditz sat down, and sighed deeply. "What the hell am I gonna do?! I was fighting him! And…Well..I lost…Of course I lost…" He muttered. "I always lose…Why did I even bother? Shoulda ran away when I had the-...wait a second, am I dead?" Raditz pinched his arm, and winced at the pain. "Nope. I can still feel pain…then where the hell am I?"

Raditz got back up, and looked around, he walked for a few paces then stopped. "Well it sure is cozy in here…" He said. Raditz laid down, closing his eyes. "Y'know even though I couldn't win, I guess it was nice to know, I could stand toe-to-toe against Vegeta. I think…I'm ready to die peacefully now…well peacefully as I ever could be."

"Now what kind of talk is that!? That ain't how a Saiyan dies!" A voice spoke, it was familiar, super familiar, and Raditz couldn't pin it down though. "A Saiyan goes out in the fury flames of combat! We don't give up! EVER!"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Raditz turned to his side, waving his hand. "Listen, go home whoever you are, I'm done."

"So that's it? You're gonna run from your problems?" The voice asked. "I expected better from my son."

Raditz's eyes opened, he stood up, whipping around. "F-Father!? Where?!" He was gone, nowhere to be seen, Raditz sighed. "I must be going crazy or something…or maybe it's one of those death limbo kind of things." Raditz shrugged to himself, and sat back down. "Ah that's ok."

Then something kicked Raditz, making him land on his face. Raditz stood up, and growled, turning around. "What's the big id-..." Raditz paused. "D-Dad? What the hell?!"

"What the hell do you think you're doing lying around?! Wake up!" Bardock yelled. "Get back out there and kick Vegeta's ass!"

Raditz scoffed. "Please, you know as well as I do, that he's way too strong." Raditz replied. "Besides, I'm nearly exhausted from all of my energy, and I'm way too damaged to move right."

Bardock glared, gave an angry huff. "What kind of? You're a Saiyan! Show some backbone!" Bardock said. "Don't you wanna help your nephew or brother?! Your mother and I worked our asses off to get you two away from Planet Vegeta so you wouldn't die! And now you're gonna waste all of that work away?"

"What do you want me to do? I can't move! I can't even wake up!" Raditz shouted. "Wait.. How are you even here right now?" Raditz rolled his eyes in realization. "Of course, you live in my head. Why am I not surprised?"

Bardock slapped him roughly. "Clearly not enough! Perhaps I should be more in your head! I'm your father! And what's this you've been doing since I've died?" Bardock shook his head in disappointment, as old memories of Raditz flashed through the void, which Raditz looked away from. "You've been running away from fights, and chickening out? And kissing some prick's ass?!"

Raditz growled. "Hey! When you're trying to survive in a world where everyone can kill you just by looking at you, then you come talk to me about the crap!" He yelled. "Besides, you weren't here for that, were you?"

"I think I know what having everyone can kill me just by looking at me is like Raditz." Bardock said. "Incase you haven't noticed, just because my powerlevel was 10,000 that didn't mean there wasn't anyone strong enough to do that. I had bigger targets on my back because of that! And I still managed!"

Bardock took a few steps forward. "You know what I did when someone tried to mess with me? I kicked their ass!" He replied. "Show some Saiyan Pride!"

"Even if I wanted to, I don't even know how to get out of this limbo! Not to mention I'm seriously out of energy!" Raditz pointed out. "So unless you have a solution that ain't happenin!"

"You shouldn't need much energy, even the smallest amount of strength will be all." Bardock answered, he pointed to the left. "Look." In front of them was an image of the ongoing current events, first it flashed to Goku fighting Vegeta, then to Yamcha and Krillin as they charged a spirit bomb.

"Vegeta is in his normal form? What happened?" Raditz gasped.

"His tail's been cut. One hit, one hit from you, and it'll give him enough damage to stall for those two Earthlings' attack." Bardock explained. "And when those two Earthlings' attack is ready, it should finish Vegeta."

Raditz sighed. "Fine. Then how do I get out of here?"

Bardock shrugged. "You have to find that answer for yourself." He faded away.

Raditz dropped his jaw. "What?! How's that supposed to help me?" He yelled, his words were pointless, Bardock had already vanished, Raditz sighed again. "Guess I'll just keep walking forward."

Eventually, a familiar figure had made itself in the distance, as Raditz walked, it look so familiar, so Raditz got closer and closer, then he recognized it.

"M-Mom?!" Raditz ran faster, but the first thing he received when he approached her was a slap to the face that sent him to the ground. "Ow! What the hell!"

"That was for attacking your brother!" She yelled. "After everything we did, everything we gave up, so you and him could survive, the first thing you did was attack him?!"

Raditz stood up, still rubbing the area where he'd been slapped. "Well I was running out of options y'know!"

"So you attacked him?! You could've tried anything else!" Gine replied.

Raditz raised a brow. "Like?" He asked. Gine slapped him again. "What was that for!"

"For having to actually ask for suggestions! You could've thought of anything!" Gine answered. She placed her hands on her hips, and growled furiously. "I mean has it ever occurred to you, that instead of beating someone up, you could've gone to him, and explained the situation to him?!" She rolled her eyes. "You're just like your father!"

"I did! He didn't listen!" Raditz argued.

Gine gave him a mom-like and raised a brow. "Oh really? I'm well aware of what you did, Raditz. You could've approached that better!" She pointed out. She slapped him again. "That was for trying to kidnap your own nephew!"

Raditz glared for a second and sighed. "Okay fine, I deserved that one." He admitted. "So what do you want me to do now?"

"Go out there and kick Vegeta's ass!" Gine answered. "Then apologise to your brother and your nephew!"

"Why would I need to apologise to th-" Raditz asked.

Gine slapped him again. "You know well what! You've been in the Frieza Force for way too long!"

Raditz grumbled angrily. "Alright, alright." He said. "I'll apologise. Now how do we get out of this dump?"

Gine shrugged. "This is your limbo, I can't tell you that, maybe follow that light?" Gine pointed to a bright white light in the distance, it was tiny. Then Gine's image faded away.

Raditz took a quick breath. "Alright then…wait a second..my limbo?" Raditz slapped his forehead. "Damn it! I called my own limbo a dump!" Raditz sighed yet again, then turned to the light, he followed it, and ran quickly. The closer he got, the brighter and bigger it got.

Eventually it got so bright that Raditz had to stop, and protect his eyes, finally he returned to his body.

"So I am alive!" Raditz roared. The giant Great Ape lifted himself up, the noise echoed, and everyone turned their attention to him, especially Vegeta who was going after Yamcha and Krillin after noticing their attempt at stopping him. With every fiber in his body, Raditz ignored the intense pain, grabbed Vegeta and threw him to the ground harshly, throwing one final punch.

"Whatever you two are doing! DO IT NOW!" Raditz yelled.

Yamcha and Krillin nodded to each other, and synchronously threw their hands down, motioning an intensely powerful blue energy sphere to come crashing down like a meteor at Vegeta, only the further it went, it swiftly turned from a sphere into a wave. As it collided with Vegeta who screamed in agony on strike, it sent Vegeta high up in the sky.

With the last of Raditz's energy he destroyed the power ball, de-transforming himself, making him pass out on the ground.

After about several moments, with Yamcha and Krillin sitting back, reminiscing a few things, Vegeta's body came plummeting down, crashing harshly into the ground, a deep crater the shape of himself formed.

Both fighters gasped. "H-..He's still alive?! After all that!?" Yamcha said.

"T-That's…That's just insane! How can someone get hurt that badly! AND STILL SURVIVE!" Krillin gaped.

Yamcha raised his shoulders. "I..I don't know."

Krillin sighed. "It's fine, there's no way he has ANY energy left, at least enough to do anything, he probably can't even crawl." He said, standing up. "I'll finish this."

"Hey Guys." A familiar voice's thoughts echoed to Krillin and Yamcha, it was Goku's. "Whatever you're thinking to do to Vegeta don't."

"W-What? Why?! This guy killed two of our friends, Goku!" Krillin protested. "He's levelled an entire city?! And you want us to let him go, fly away in a spaceship, so he could come back and wipe out the entirety of humanity?!"

"Yeah! Come On Goku! If we let this guy go, there's no telling what he'll do!" Yamcha added.

In the distance, both fighters could see Vegeta crawling, as his spaceship came crashing down, Yamcha and Krillin flared their auras, attempted to fly over to him, but Goku's voice made them stop.

"Y-You're right…He probably will.." Goku continued.

"Not probably, he will wipe us out!" Yamcha said.

"Your brother may have been different, Goku, heck Piccolo might even be some form of ally right now, but that doesn't mean this guy will change!" Krillin pointed out. "He won't! People like him don't! He'll come back! And I refuse to give him the opportunity!"

"I know..He's powerful, and he can do a lot of damage, as long as he lives, Earth isn't safe…" Goku said. He paused for a moment. "But…this might sound crazy, when you were about to go after him…kill him, I…I had two thoughts…I couldn't help it, but I thought it'd be such a waste…"

"A W-Waste? What're you going on about?" Yamcha asked.

"After my training last year…I thought..it was my limit but, I saw him and Raditz fight, the both of them, and they were incredible, so much stronger, faster, even their techniques were more precise." Goku explained. "And well…I've gotta admit it…I was excited.. And when I see someone that strong, it makes my heart race, maybe it's because I'm a Saiyan, but I just realize I have much more to go, and it makes me want to push myself further, make myself stronger."

"B-But…I can't let him live! Tien…Chiaotzu, they're gone.." Krillin resisted the tears that urged to come out. "And they can't be brought back! All because of this…this monster!"

"I know it's not fair, it's selfish of me to ask you that…my other thought…I was thinking…It just wouldn't be fair if we let Piccolo go and not him.." Goku pointed out.

"Yeah but Piccolo was linked to Kami, we had no other choice." Krillin recalled.

"Yeah he isn't the only one, what about Tien and Chiaotzu? Or heck Yamcha used to be kind of a bad guy too, a Bandit, that's how I met him, remember?" Goku said.

"I get it, Goku." Yamcha spoke up. "For you, we'll let him go…alright?"

Krillin looked at Yamcha…and sighed. "Alright, but you better make sure when this guy comes back, that he'll regret ever meeting us in the first place, got it!"

"Got it!" Goku answered.

Krillin and Yamcha watched as Vegeta's spaceship took flight, not long after it, another spaceship had taken flight, the two could only assume it was Nappa's.

Later on, as the sun began to set, a ship could be heard coming nearby, as it landed, a shrieking bansh-...Chichi unleashed a roar, shouting loudly for her son.

"GOHAN! WHERE ARE YOU!" She cried. Chichi glanced quickly around the area, and ran all over the place, wondering where he was. Then her eyes spotted him and she ran the fastest she's ever run. "MY BABY!" She began to tear, typical of a Mother.

"M-Mom, I'm okay." Gohan uttered, though he was a bit muffled due to his Mom hugging him so tightly.

"Okay?! You're covered in bruises and scratches!" She said, releasing some of her tight grip. "Look at you!" She placed her hand on the part of his forehead where it bled, and Gohan flinched. "You're bleeding! You're clearly hurt! You need to be in the hospital!"

Goku let a short chuckle from Chichi's melodramatic speech, meanwhile Master Roshi and Bulma helped both Krillin & Yamcha to their feet as they were carried into the airplane.

"I don't see Tienshinhan…or Chiaotzu…are they?" Master Roshi asked.

Krillin nodded. "Yeah Dead…" Krillin frowned, as he was placed up against one of the seats, keeping his gaze down. "Chiaotzu..sacrificed himself in order to stop that monster…I kinda wish he hadn't, because to be honest, I still thought we could've taken him."

"And Tien?" Roshi said.

"Dead too. He was protecting Goku's son, Gohan." Yamcha answered. "He was already so burnt out from the last several times he used the Kaioken technique- Ow! Careful!" Yamcha winced, from being placed in the seat, his muscles still super stressed from his use of the technique. "Tien overdid it with the Kaioken, so his body must've been too exhausted to dodge Vegeta's fist, but at least he bought us time."

Roshi frowned. "Well at least they died protecting the Earth…" Roshi said. Roshi stepped down the stairs of the plane. "I'll be right back, I'll go help the others in." Krillin nodded in response, Yamcha on the other hand tried, but flinched from a sudden pain.

He turned his head to the right, where Bulma was dressing Yamcha's wound. "What're you doing!?"

"I'm cleaning your wounds up, now sit still!" She yelled. Yamcha gulped and nodded in response.

Roshi walked to the back of the plane and grabbed a stretcher that was all folded up, taking it over to Goku.

"Hey Master Roshi." Goku said weakly.

"Hi Goku, How was your day?" Roshi replied, slipping the stretcher under Goku, who flinched a bit.

"Agh..Well you know, I've seen better days!" Goku laughed. He flinched again, not because of Roshi, but this time simply because his body was in pain. "Man…That guy was tough!"

"I know, I felt his power all the way from Kame House." Roshi said, looking at the stretcher, wondering how he'd lift Goku up, oddly enough, Piccolo came out of nowhere and helped. "Piccolo?"

Goku gave a confused look. "Piccolo?" He looked up. "Oh, Hey Piccolo, what're you doing?"

"Giving you a hand." Piccolo replied. "And in case you're wondering, I'm just repaying the favor, as much as it pains me, the others helped me out a lot earlier." With Roshi, the two lifted each end of the stretcher as they put Goku in the back of the plane.

"Well, even though it doesn't mean much to you, thanks anyways." Goku smiled.

Piccolo rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah. Is that all?"

"Actually, no, have you seen my brother?" Goku asked.

"I'm right here." Raditz leaned against the airplane, clearly he'd been limping his way here, and nearly collapsed this second, he clutched his lower ribcage.

Moments later, after Piccolo had left, helping Raditz up in the airplane first, the group arrived at the hospital, wondering what their next plans would be. Goku's entire body was in a cast, while he laid in a specialized bed, Raditz had his two feet lifted up, wrapped into a cast, all the way to his knees, his arms as well were wrapped in a cast and there was a neck brace on him.

Yamcha as well had his two feet lifted up, but only his left arm, rather than both arms, was wrapped in a cast. He had a full leg cast down from his feet to his upper leg, on each leg. Gohan had a bandage on his forehead, and a right arm cast. Krillin had a bandage around his head, and a cast on his left arm.

"So…now that they're gone, and you know those two will be back, what do you plan to do?" Roshi asked, facing Goku.

Goku gazed up for a second, thinking, then looked back down. "Well..the second I'm all healed up, the first thing I'm gonna do is train, so that I'll be prepared for them coming back."

"Oh no!" Chichi yelled. She got up from her seat, standing in front of Goku. "No way mister! After your healed up, you're coming home, and spending time with your family!"

Goku frowned. "Chichi, come on. If we don't, the Earth could be destroyed!"

Chichi shook her head. "No no no! I know exactly what's gonna happen! Especially after last year!" She put her foot down. "I refuse to sit there, and have a sweaty husband coming home every day, because he was training for some universe saving threat. Let the others handle it for once!"

"Woman! We can't do this without Kakarot whether anyone likes it or not!" Raditz protested. "He is needed!"

Chichi turned her head slowly to Raditz, and stared into his soul through his eyes, Raditz gulped, and turned away, causing the others to laugh, until Chichi stared at them.

"You've been gone too long! Gohan needs his father! Not some hero trying to save the world! And I need my husband!" Chichi said. Her voice got quieter. "I miss you, Goku, I can't sit here and wait months to see you again!"

"Aw C'mon Chi. You know I'd love to spend time with you guys, but I can't." Goku pointed out. "I promise, after it is all done, we'll do all of those picnics you wanted to do, and I'll even be sure to take that driving test."

Chichi sighed. "Promise?"

Goku nodded. "Ya-huh!"

She sighed again. "Alright, fine." She motioned Gohan to follow her. "Come on Gohan, you need some fresh air."

Gohan's face lit up, he quickly got up, nodding. "Alright Mom!" He smiled.

"Yeah. I just wish we could've saved Tien and Chiaotzu." Krillin frowned. "Maybe if we ask the Eternal Dragon nicely, we could get him to resurrect them both one last time?"

Yamcha shook his head. "I wish that were the case, but I doubt it." He answered. "You know what Kami said, it's not up to the Dragon. It's whatever he has the power to do."

"We could just head to Namek, y'know?" Raditz suggested. The group gave a confused look at Raditz. "Y'know the planet, the green man's from?" Silent confused stares were given in response. "Wait…You seriously didn't know?" Raditz busted laughing, before stopping due to the pain in his chest.

"What're you going on about? Piccolo is an alien? That doesn't make se-..." Krillin stopped himself before slapping his forehead. "Actually…I don't know why I'm surprised, is there even a real Earthling these days?"

Yamcha and Roshi shrugged.

"Well it isn't uncommon that other species of the Galaxy make their way into Planets, slowly inhabiting it over time." Raditz pointed out. "You don't seriously believe those Wolf guys are the same species as you do you?"

"Actually, it seemed to make sense." Goku replied. "We've seen Earthlings turn into Werewolves before."

"Yeah, I assumed it had something to do with that, like they permanently became Wolves or something." Yamcha added. "I mean, we have a lot of things like that here on Earth."

"Well…while you could possibly be right, it is also possible that there was a time where they didn't exist on Earth, simply because they're aliens, though now they clearly are Earthlings, but their heritage may lie elsewhere." Raditz answered. "Regardless, the green man is a Namek, chances are his homeplanet's got a set of Dragon Balls, and they might be more powerful than here."

Krillin's face lit up. "Then…That means all we need is a spaceship!"

On cue, Bulma walked in. "Did somebody say Spaceship!?" She said. In her hand was a remote, a familiar remote to Raditz. "Check this out! I've managed to study it, and figure out what does what!" Bulma aimed to press a few buttons, before Raditz stopped her.

"Hey! That's my remote! And I don't know how you got it! But DO NOT press that button!" Raditz urged. "You will destroy my ship with that sequence!"

Bulma rolled her eyes, scoffing. "I think I know what I'm doing, I'm not called a genius for nothing, and I KNOW that this is the sequence for summoning the ship!"

"No! It's not!" Raditz got louder. Bulma ignored him, turned on the TV in the room, which showed a channel where a news station was talking about Raditz's ship. "Hey! How the hell did they get a hold of that! I left it in my crater for safekeeping! Those bastards!"

"Watch and learn!" Bulma said, quickly pressing the three buttons.

Raditz dropped his jaw, flinching, expecting his ship to be destroyed, and he was right, on the screen, the ship had exploded nearly immediately.

"I told you! Look what you've done! Now we have no way of getting to Namek!" Raditz snarled.

"Well it's not my fault this tech is so complicated!" Bulma yelled.

Raditz scoffed. "Exactly what I'd expect from an incomptent Earthling." He muttered.

Bulma widened her eyes with fury. "What?!" She slapped him, to which Raditz screamed in agony. "I'll have you know, this incomptent Earthling has helped saved lives thanks to my Dragon Radar!"

"Well maybe if you listened to me! You wouldn't have destroyed the ship." Raditz looked to the right, avoiding eye contact, as he rolled his again.

Bulma turned, crossing her arms. "Yeah well jokes on you! I'll be able to study that and use it's tech to create a faster AND bigger ship in less than a week!" She huffed.

"Within a week, Vegeta could be back here, after having obtained the Dragon Balls on Namek, using it to gain immortality, and be MUCH stronger." Raditz replied. "We don't have a week. So you better have an alternative."

"I got one…" A deep voice said, as the door to the room creaked, revealing to be Piccolo. "There's a ship in Yunzabit Heights that Kami and I had used when we were originally one, on our arrival to Earth."

Bulma stepped a few inches back, tensed up, and kept an eye on Piccolo as she fearfully watched him step through the door.

"So you really are an alien?" Goku asked.

Piccolo nodded. "Yeah. Guess it makes sense. That would explain the whole ship situation." He explained. "It'll take us a while, but I can get us to that ship, and we can check it out, see if it's quick enough to reach Planet Namek. So who's coming with?"

"You're offering to help?" Yamcha said.

Piccolo growled. "Don't remind me, I don't like the idea of Vegeta gaining Immortality and killing us all while we're underprepared."

"I'll go." Krillin said, standing up from his seat. "I should be able to heal in no time, in comparison to these guys."

"I'd love to go, but I'm gonna be bedridden for weeks!" Goku frowned. "I'd say, Gohan could tag along, but y'know Chichi." Goku gave a short chuckle at the thought.

"Nonsense! The boy can come with!" Raditz said. "Of course he'll be going!"

The door opened again, this time it slammed shut. "What did I just hear?!" Chichi yelled.

Goku's body shook, and his face look frightened. "C-Chichi! I th-thought you were o-out, getting s-some f-fresh a-air with Gohan!" He smiled sheepishly.

"Nice try, Goku! But I know what I heard!" Chichi shouted. "My little Gohan is going nowhere! He's only five, and he's not permitted to go to outer space. You want him to fight here on Earth? Fine. But in outer space? HELL NO!"

Gohan pushed open the door. "But Mom..If they need me to come, I ca-."

"No!" Chichi whipped around. "You're not going!"

"But Mom I c-"

"No buts!" Chichi Interrupted. "You are staying here, where it's safe, and you're going to be catching up on your studying. You're not going to fight!"

"Please Mom." Gohan begged. "I really want to go."

Chichi laughed. "That's a great joke Gohan, but I said no." She replied, crossing her arms. "Now you go march down to the lobby and continue doing your work."

Gohan frowned, gazing to the floor, he clenched his fists as a thought formed in his head, someone was dead because of him, Tien was dead because of him, and he was supposed to do nothing about it?

"No.." He muttered.

Chichi raised a brow and placed her hands on her hips. "Excuse me what!?"

"I said no! I'm going to Namek!" Gohan yelled, immediately he covered his mouth, then removed his hands a second later, leaving his Mother shocked with horror. "I'm sorry Mom, but I have to go. If I had tried harder then maybe…we could've saved everyone."

"Oh Gohan, that's sweet, but highly unrealistic." Chichi replied, attempting to forget the previous defiance that had occurred. "Come on, let's go get your books and-." Chichi tried to grab his hand but he swayed her away.

"N-No! Please, I have to go." Gohan pleaded.

Chichi's eyes went wide, she looked dizzy, almost like she was gonna collapse. "M-My…Baby boy is becoming a d-delinquent!" Then she fainted, nearly falling on the floor if not for Krillin, looking startled.

"Well that was certainly unexpected." Krillin said, sweat dripped on his forehead.

Goku chuckled. "Yeah, I didn't expect Chichi to faint like that." He looked at Gohan, giving a bit of a stunned look. "You gave her quite the scare, Son!" Goku cleared his throat. "Might…uh…wanna give her awhile before apologising."

Gohan remained silent, looking guilty in response, keeping his gaze to the floor.

"Apologise? Nonsense! The boy has done what you could only dream of, Kakarot!" Raditz shouted. "He should be praised for standing up to that Banshee!"

Goku looked at him with a bit of suspicion. "Oh really? Wasn't that "Banshee" the same one who tore you a new one?"

For a second Raditz's eyes went wide, then trying to cover and hide his face, he looked away, clearing his throat. "I-I have no idea what you're talking about. Sounds like complete lies!"

"Uh-huh…" Goku said. He grinned. "Then wait til next time and I'll get a Camera, not that anyone would believe you."

Raditz looked at Goku with fury, growling at him, trying to put a middle finger at the younger Saiyan.

"Hey if you're all done chit chatting, I'd like to get going." Piccolo announced. "The sooner we get to Namek, the better, I want to be sure those other two Saiyans are taken care of."

Goku gave a short chuckle. "Sorry Piccolo." He said. He looked at Gohan. "See ya later, Son!"

Gohan looked surprised. "Y-You mean I can go?"

Goku tried to nod but failed. "Yup, just be back before your Mom wakes up, kay?"

Gohan nodded in response.

"Good. Krillin, you ready?" Piccolo asked, facing the shorter fighter, who nodded in response. "Let's go."

Bulma rushed in front of the three. "Wait! What about me! I can't even fly!" Bulma shouted, crossing her arms.

Yet again, another voice had spoke up. "I can take you there." It said.

Bulma had shivers sent up her spine as she turned around screaming. "W-What the hell!" She shouted. There was this thing, floating outside the window.

"And how do you propose to do that, Mr. Popo?" Piccolo asked, revealing the voice's owner.

Mr. Popo floated up, beneath him was a magic carpet that he'd been standing on. "This Carpet should be able to instantly take us to where the ship is, if everyone would just hop on."

Bulma shook her head. "Nuh Uh! First you expect me to take a ride from a creepy lookin stranger! And now you want me to stand on his magic carpet!?"

"Stranger? C'mon Bulma! He's a friend!" Krillin said, as he climbed over the window after Gohan. Bulma shook her head again. "Okay fine, then I guess you'll get to miss out on all of the alien tech you'll get to see."

Bulma frowned angrily, before sighing, as she slowly stepped over the window, carefully getting onto the magic carpet.

"It's uh…" Bulma gulped. "A bit crowded here." The Carpet was barely holding all five people.

"Oh dear me, forgive me, I can fix that." Mr. Popo replied. He raised his hand, and the carpet quickly expanded. "Let's not waste anymore time, and go." The carpet floated up, and as it floated up other patients from the hospital took notice, staring in disbelief.

A short couple of seconds later the Magic Carpet vanished into thin air, only to reappear near Yunzabit Heights, where dangerous winds had raged, luckily the Magic Carpet kept everyone from those winds, not that most there needed it.

"It's not far from here, it should only take a short moment." Mr. Popo informed. The Magic Carpet moved forward, gradually speeding up, then after a few more minutes, there it was a large spherical machine, with spikes protruding in multiple spots, and a large glass window in the front with a few minor cracks.

The Magic Carpet floated down, allowing everyone to get off, and Bulma who was still freaked out by the experience had gotten off sighing with relief.

"Is this it?" Bulma asked. "It's covered in moss." And covered in moss it was, so much moss and algae. "It must've been here for a really long time."

"No kidding." Krillin commented, looking at it curiously. He tapped one of the spikes, hearing a loud metal thang. "So how do you uh..get this thing to move?"

"Yeah this seems like it." Piccolo answered, he walked up to it, observing it as a few memories flooded his mind, they were very vague, but memories nonetheless. "If I can remember how to operate this thing…" Piccolo tapped his forehead, before proceeding to speak something in Namekian.

A second later, a platform levitated down to them. Piccolo got up first, with the others coming up next, Piccolo repeated himself, and it closed.

Gohan looked astonished, this thing was like some kind of future tech. "Woah! It looks bigger on the inside!"

"This must be the console." Bulma said. There was a little keyboard-like thing lifted up, with a bunch of buttons. "How does it work?"

"I think it's voice operated like the rest of the machine." Mr. Popo pointed out. "The keyboard is most likely for only emergency related features." Mr. Popo walked up to Bulma. "Let's see if we can get it to fly."

Mr. Popo spoke words in Namekian, and the display on the console turned on, having strange text appear and rapidly change. The machine levitated off the ground, causing Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma's balance to be unstable for a second, then it blasted out of the atmosphere, nearly instantly going into Jupiter within five seconds.

Piccolo stood back up, dusting himself off, looking irritated. "Warn us next time you plan to do that!" He looked a bit embarrassed.

"Wait a second…is that..?" Krillin said. He got up to take a closer look. "T-That's Jupiter! We just left Earth and we're already at jupiter!?" Krillin dropped his jaw. "This thing is fast!"

Gohan came up to the window to take a look. "Woah! That's so cool!"

"With as fast as this thing is, we can arrive at Namek in no time!" Bulma cheered. "I can bring this back to my lab, run some tests, and do some retrofitting, and we can get this suped up, ready for travel."

"Yeah, only one question." Piccolo turned around. "Do you even have the coordinates to Namek?"

Bulma gave a confused look. "But I thought you.." Piccolo shook his head, Bulma turned to Mr. Popo who shook his head. "You mean neither of you even have the coordinates to Namek?!" Bulma frowned. "We just did all of this for nothing?!"

"We could ask the Dragon?" Krillin said.

Bulma's face lit up. "That's a great idea, Krillin! We'll ask Shenron!"

"Ahem..Is this thing on?" A voice echoed.

"King Kai?" Krillin said, looking up. "Is that you?"

"Ah yes! Hello." King Kai replied. "Glad you can all hear me out. Okay, so. Don't bother wasting the Dragon Balls, I can give you the coordinates to Namek."

"Uh…Krillin, who is this?" Bulma asked.

"It's King Kai, the one who trained Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu and I from the Otherworld." Krillin explained.

"Yeah and if you would be so kind not to interrupt me." King Kai said. "I have the coordinates for Namek, and I can give them to you, want em or not?"

"Yes! Just give me a second." Bulma answered. She pulled out a notebook and a pen from her pocket. "Okay, go ahead."

"Planet Namek is located in the trinary star system, 9045XY." King Kai replied. "With a ship as fast as that you should be able to get there in about a month!"

Bulma quickly wrote it down in her notepad then put it back in her pocket. "Okay! Done!"

"Hey King Kai, how did you know that?" Krillin asked.

"Why I'm King Kai of course! Watcher of the North Galaxy!" King Kai explained. "I know lots of things about Namek, including that Namekians are typically a peaceful race, so no need to worry about them causing problems."

As the group returned to Earth, Krillin and Gohan returned to the hospital, some time before Chichi woke up, Bulma returned to Capsule Corp, getting some things to bring the Ship back with her to work on it, and Piccolo, who knows where he went.

Out on the roof of the hospital fresh winds blew by Gohan as he wrote in his study book, noticing that his mom had been gone for quite some time now, Gohan got up, quickly going to where the rails were.

Gohan placed one hand on the rail, and pushed himself up, then he placed his other hand on the rail, and began doing push-ups. A moment later, he'd heard his Mom's voice, quickly Gohan flipped off and ran to his study book, making it seem as if he were only studying from the beginning.

"I brought some lunch, Gohan!" Chichi said as she opened the door. She walked over to him and placed down the box. Then Chichi eyed him, giving a look of suspicion, Gohan tried to keep his gaze averted hoping that she wouldn't notice. "You're sweaty…Why are you sweaty?"

Gohan shrugged in response.

Chichi stared at him. "You know I don't like liars. You were training, weren't you?" She said, Gohan gulped, and slowly nodded. "You're still healing, and you were training?! And you tried to lie to me and hide it?!" She looked angry and that was never a good thing. "Young man, I should discipline you for being deceitful like that!"

Gohan frowned. "Sorry Mom, I just..I'm sorry, I won't do it again."

Chichi sighed deeply. "I guess I've been a bit too hard on you." She said. Gohan looked at his Mother with a confused face. "I guess you can go to space." Gohan's face immediately lit up, before he could say anything, Chichi interrupted. "On ONE Condition." She held up a finger. "That you better make sure that you will still keep up with your studies and that you better make sure you get home safely, alright?"

Gohan nodded. "Yes Mom!" He stood up. "Thank you!" Immediately, Gohan ran to tell the others the good news.

Soon, a couple of weeks had passed, Gohan and Krillin had mostly healed up, enough that they could travel in space, Bulma had finished reconstruction on the ship allowing for a more modern control of it.

Gohan and Krillin had waited near Kame house for Bulma's arrival, who at the moment was still at Wukong Hospital, in the cafeteria.

"Are you sure you can't come, Yamcha? By the time we actually get to Namek, you should be healed up before we make it!" Bulma said. "It'd be like old times."

"Nah, I think I'm gonna stay here." Yamcha answered. "I'll leave when Goku and his brother are leaving on that next ship your Dad is making." Yamcha placed his fork down, and stretched his arms.

"You know that ship isn't gonna be ready for another two weeks." Bulma pointed out. "And plus to the fact that the gravity console in there is gonna be capable of going up to one hundred times! I know you can handle ten times, but knowing Goku there's a slim chance he might be crazy enough to go that high, are you sure that's a good idea?"

Yamcha nodded. "Yeah, Definitely." He replied. "If anything it's only another reason to push myself further and get stronger."

"Stronger?" Bulma tilted her head. "I've never seen you so pumped up, at least not since the World Martial Arts tournament. Ever since then you've been kinda slowing it down."

Yamcha gazed a bit upwards. "Ever since we went to King Kai's, the training was so demanding, so harsh. I never thought we'd make it through the next couple of days when we got there, let alone the week." He explained. "But…we made it through, and I've never gotten this strong before, and after the recent battle, I know there are greater heights, greater enemies out there."

His gaze went down. "If I'm not at my peak, my limits, If I don't break them, then those enemies could end up killing everyone. I want to be at my best, so that moments like these can continue to live on." He put his gaze back to Bulma. "So if I wanna do that, I have to be able to train with the strongest."

Bulma chuckled. "Y'know, you almost sounded like Goku for a moment there."

Yamcha scratched the back of his head. "I kinda did, didn't I?" He chuckled. "I guess that's what you get for being one of his close friends as a martial artist."

Bulma lowered her gaze. "Yeah…" Her mind became reminiscent of the old days for a short few seconds. It'd been a long time since she had a real conversation with Yamcha, especially as if it were the old days, though minus all of Yamcha's fear of talking to girls, which made this so much more casual.

After the two continued to talk for a while, Bulma had eventually left, having other duties to attend to, and after everyone had said their goodbyes, they all left in the ship to Namek, Piccolo, Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan, leaving Earth.

"Commander!" A voice echoed, it was dark, but not pitch dark, still seeable. It sounded like the voice was in something big and metal. "We've found reports, sightings, of the Saiyan Prince heading to Earth, they say that he was after your cousin, Raditz."

"After? As in targeting to kill him?" The voice belonging to the one referred to as Commander spoke. The other voice nodded to him in response. "I'd figured as much, isn't Earth the planet where my baby cousin, Kakarot was sent to?"

"Yes Commander." Another voice spoke up, this one sounded…almost martian-like. "They say that he and Raditz were rebelling against Vegeta. According to our sources Vegeta may have won, but it is unconfirmed, Vegeta however was badly beaten."

"Elaborate." The Commander ordered.

"After Vegeta had left Earth, about a week later, rumors had spreaded that Vegeta barely made it out alive from Earth. Some say he lost the battle, others say he won but only after having been taken to a near-death situation." The first voice answered. "They are merely rumors though, you know how the Frieza Force is, if rumors are out, Frieza is furious, and he will be sure to clear it away eventually."

"If I had to take a gamble, Vegeta underestimated my cousins." The Commander replied. "Although, I do find it surprising that they've gotten strong enough to defy Vegeta, a bit hard to believe really, but it would be only the logical solution."

"Should we do something?" The second subordinate voice asked.

"Well.. I am curious." The Commander answered. "And, Earth seems to be within the requirements for our special project. I say aye! Set course for Planet Earth."

To be continued…

A/N: Okay…so like…the powerlevels may not seem 100% accurate to the situations that happened because of my not so great memory, but I should be able to get it right. That aside, the incoming side saga is coming soon, but you'll have to wait, like I noted on Chapter Thirty-Six, another hiatus is coming up til the moving situation is over.

I promised that I would have everything taken care of before Christmas, in retrospect as much as I want to, there is a small possibility I won't have the internet til after then. Until Then, Sayonar-...oh wait we're not saying goodbye, SEE YA LATER.

Powerlevels:

Spirit Bomb: 10,000 - Now I have no actual idea what the powerlevel at all for the Spirit Bomb is, all I know is it's power is usually done according to plot, so in this case it's much smaller than I expect Goku's Spirit Bomb before he lost like more than 50% of the energy in the original series.

Vegeta: 18,000 | Great Ape: 180,000 | Weakened: 10,000 - 7,500 | Post Spirit Bomb: 2

Raditz: 12,000 | Great Ape: 120,000 | Severely Injured (Ape): 13,500 | Deformed: 700

Goku: 8,000 | Weakened: 6,000

Piccolo: 5,000

Yamcha: 3,750 | Kaioken: 7,500 | Kaioken X3: 11,250 (I can't remember if he used the third level or not)

Krillin: 3,250 | Kaioken: 6,500 | Kaioken X3: 9,750 (same as Yamcha, I can't remember if he did, I believe he didn't either.)

Gohan: 3,000 | Enraged: 6,000
