What the fuck is good my people!? I missed Y'all. I still have no laptop, relying on the library, so expect very, very rare updates. I'll do what I can, but remember that I can only do what my parent's schedule and our van's gas tank allow. Krom sensed something wrong as he traversed back to Pallet Town to check on everyone. He wanted to see all of his Pokémon, and his wife's Pokémon that traveled as part of the convoy, and wish everyone good luck on the building of the village. When he reached the building site, he saw people huddled around something in the center of their huddle. Pushing through, Homika and Orzhov standing back, Krom found Simba sitting on the ground, exhausted and covered in bruises and scratches. Krom frowned, looking at the Halfling. "What happened to you?" he asked, and the Halfling looked up, an odd, uncommon look in his shining golden eyes. He tried to stand, succeeding after multiple pops and cracks from his body that tried to disagree with him and keep him sitting.
"It wasn't pretty." He said, and Krom frowned. "What happened in the village? Are Saria and my kids alright?" he asked, and Simba chuckled. "They're fine. No thanks to me of course." He said, and Krom frowned. "Why are you being vague?" he asked, and Simba sighed. "If you insist, I'll be a bit more direct." He said, rubbing his obviously sore neck.
"The village was attacked by Arceus, Dialga, and Palkia." He said, and Krom froze. "Is everything okay?" he asked. "Of course. With the help of Xerneas, Yveltal, Volcanion and Hoopa, we managed to repair the damage fairly quickly." He said, and Krom frowned. "But weren't you here? If they attacked, how did you manage to hold them off?" he asked, and Simba frowned, a sad look coming over his face.
"That's the funny part. I didn't hold them off. The Oozaru did much more than that." He said, and Krom hesitated at the sound of his Pokémon's name. "What happened?" he asked, and Simba shook his head, placing a hand on Krom's shoulder. "After killing both Dialga and Palkia, and defeating Arceus, The Oozaru passed on from a combination of over-exertion and injury." He said, and Krom froze, his mind unable to process the information he just heard. The Oozaru was gone? He beat Arceus? Krom shook his head.
Before Krom could say anything, the trees erupted with motion, and a man with blue hair stepped out, partially armored. "Team Galactic, attack!" he called, and the remnants of the ancient team exploded from the bushes, armed and ready to fight.
Krom was filled with anger, sadness and grief, and his hands began to twitch as he felt his body pulsate. Simba frowned, turning to the rest of the Halflings attending. "All of you retreat and protect the supplies! Krom can take care of this himself. MOVE!" he boomed, limping ahead of the group, recovering from his injuries slower than he really wanted to.
The trees behind Team Galactic exploded, torn from their roots as a huge cry broke the air, Mahmut stamping the armored men and women. The mammoth was even larger now, nearing three times the size of a Mamoswine, the small green Totodile on his tusks launching water attacks to knock the grunts off kilter. Coming from the side, Castle Face screamed, charging as he barreled through the men and women, screaming obscenities as he shook various disembodied limbs from his face.
"Why the FUCK do I always end up with guts on my face!? Why can't that fat pig ever get shit on his face!?" He screamed, Jerry the Pichu and Iris the Emolga launching electric blasts, the behemoths and their smaller companions tearing through the ranks of Team Galactic, unaware of the huge ship arriving from the south, where they were most vulnerable. Simba spun, cursing, then realizing that only a small portion of Krom and Saria's Pokémon were aquatic. Fred, Saria's Eelektross came flying onto the ground, hissing and cackling as he straightened himself, injured by the huge ship slamming into him.
Krom was extremely angered, his electricity cloaked body destroying everyone he struck. He caught one of the blades of the armored grunts in his hand, his scales allowing him to take no damage or sustain no injury. A hand shot through the man's back, Krom disregarding the body and bumping fists with Kyouhei, who giggled madly as they faced another round of grunts, the Arceus Worshipping cult like group having no shortage of members.
A few grunts swam to shore, coming at the Halflings from behind, their attention devoted to saving their building materials. Bruce, the Meinfoo, bounced from side to side, one of the few Pokémon not fighting the huge swarm of Galatic grunts, likely sent by Arceus to retaliate for his defeat in Pinwheel. He leaped in the air, Jump Kicking one of the grunts, knocking him back before launching an Aura Sphere to send him back into the water. He leaped back from a blade of an enemy Grunt, barely finding time to avoid a second. Launching a Hidden Power, a wide scattering burst of energy that knocked both Grunts back, Bruce sped forward, using Drain Punch to increase his own power and knock both grunts back.
However, even with the power obtained from the Drain Punch, Bruce still couldn't take on a ship full of grunts by himself. The ship was huge up close, larger than anticipated, and Bruce cursed as his Aura Spheres began to dwindle in size and power as he continued to fight. Simba fired a large Thunderbolt from where he was standing, shocking most of the water and half the ship, the thumping of bodies dropping and collapsing as the front half of the ship was cloaked in electricity. Simba collapsed, unable to continue on, and he hoped that Bruce could hold them off until Krom managed to switch his attention to the shore.
"We have a huge problem." Sinnoh's Roark said as the League met for the first time since Alder's defeat and Cynthia's Untimely demise. "And what problem would that be?" the old woman asked, a smile on her face. "Well, it seems that the Oozaru has passed on after not only killing Dialga and Palkia, but defeating Arceus himself." He said, and the elderly woman clapped. "And that is a problem?" she asked, and the cross bearing Gym Leaders began to send her cross looks until her staff hissed at them. "Please continue." She said, smiling eerily.
"Team Galactic, a psychotic cult formed by Arceus' disciple Cyrus, are attacking Pallet Town from two fronts, leaving the Halflings vulnerable to their destruction and the destruction of their building supplies." Brock stated, frowning at his fellow Leaders. The elderly woman chuckled. "Go pitch in Damien. I can take care of things here." She said, the Sableye's head coming into vision, cackling before vanishing into nothingness.
Bruce grunted as he tried to stand, seeing the blade come down. He cursed, not wanting it to end like this, his thoughts broken by a clinking sound. He looked up, seeing Damien laughing with his blood red gem eyes staring down at him. "What's crackin' Mousey?" he asked, and Bruce breathed heavily as he stood. "What happened to you?" he asked, and Damien laughed, launching Shadow Balls from behind his huge gem like shield. "I Mega Evolved. Like the look?" he asked, laughing at the grunts who tried to break his shield before launching Dark Pulses from behind the shield. "It's not bad. Isn't that thing heavy?' he asked, launching Aura Spheres as they launched their blasts from behind the huge shield.
"Well, the average 20 inch tall Sableye has a 350 pound shield, and I'm nearly three times that size, so my shield weighs roughly 900 pounds right now, give or take a few." He said, unleashing a huge, eerie shout that pushed the numerous men back, shocking Bruce with his power. He rolled his shoulders, cackling darkly as he heard the ghostly appendages crackle and pop. Bruce shook his head. "You're completely insane." He said, and Damien laughed, launching huge blasts from behind the shield. "AND LOVIN' EVERY SECOND OF IT!" he screamed, beginning to launch Hyper Beams from behind the shield as he laughed harder and louder, the glint in his ruby eyes making the men retreat to their ship.
"That ship is a problem." Bruce said, and Damien growled at the large machine. "That thing must weigh nearly 300,000 tons at least." He said. Damien laughed. "And just think. A direct collision from a ship that weighs six hundred million pounds won't even scratch my shield." He said, throwing his head back and laughing. His cackling became rhythmic as he began beating on his shield in a similar rhythm to the cackling. "What are you doing?" Bruce asked. The Sableye laughed. "I'm just playing their death song." He said, his nonchalance and odd vocabulary unnerving Bruce.
The six hundred million pound ship began to quiver, and the entire battle stopped to watch in awe as the ship, nearly a billion pounds in weight, quivered, and began to rise from the water slowly, rising almost ten feet into the air, huge, muscled arms hoisting the behemoth machine into the air. A monstrous cry sounded as a beast, huge in size and proportion, pressed the ship overhead in time with the Sableye's rhythm. Krom looked at the figure, in shock at the Pokémon's new form. A laugh followed, DJ Swamp tossing the ship into the air with relative ease, pressing his arms together and flexing them before leaping into the air.
Punching the ship far away enough for its descent and the following shockwave to unaffect the shore, the hulking Pokémon landed in the water, his Swift Swim ability allowing him to speed through the water and leap into the air above the ship, making the men and women on the ship look up in fear as the huge figure seemingly blocked out the sun, his immense bulk allowing him to appear much larger than he was, which was still quite large. He lifted his huge hands above his head, roaring as he slammed his immense fists into the ship.
When his fists connected with the ship, the ship instantly split in twain and crashed into the water, the men and women falling into the water, the bulky mud fish landing in the water. A grunt screamed for help, renouncing Arceus, but he fell under the water, rising up and flailing, being quickly dragged down as the water turned red with blood. More bloody spots in the water began to appear, the grunts screaming and crying in fear of the monstrous leviathan in the water with them.
The remaining Grunts slowly and quietly retreated while the Halflings were watching the normally laid back DJ Swamp explode with merciless fury. When no more movement was detected in the water, the mud fish erupted from the water, a fierce look in his eyes. He flew over the Halflings, roaring as he hit the ground. The Galactic members left wanted no part of the intense power that stood in front of them. Cyrus stood in front of them, the seemingly deranged man screaming at them. "What are you doing? Kill them!" he screamed. The grunts remained still, the hulking figure looming over Cyrus.
The man turned around, seeing the huge mud fish looming over him. DJ Swamp grabbed Cyrus with one of his monstrous hands. He lifted the man up, looking him in the eyes. DJ Swamp screamed, throwing Cyrus into the air, the Stealth Rangers leaping into the air after him, catching him and digging their blades into his flesh, dragging and pinning him to the ground.
Having fled to the shore, the rest of the grunts began to leap into the water and swim away as a last resort, their numbers dwindled as their leader was viciously murdered. DJ Swamp stalked towards the water, stopping to smile and see his trainer, who was happy at his Pokémon's development. DJ Swamp rolled his neck and wrung out his hands, Bruce and Damien having fled from the shore earlier. The Swampert straightened his back out, looking at the hopeful grunts swimming away. The Swampert moved faster than Krom thought he could, bringing his hands back and unleashing a huge clap. Luckily, Simba had cast a spell to deafen everyone when the mud fish's hands connected.
Krom gaped at the force of the clap. The water tore in half, the sea between Kanto and whatever lied south split, the grunts falling into the sand as they gaped in horror at the monstrous walls of water that surrounded them. The Swampert turned around, sinking down to a meditative position and inhaling deeply, his form returning to normal slowly as the walls of water came crashing down on the grunts, finishing off the cult known as Team Galactic.
Building went extremely slow, as they tended to their injuries and the world around them first, repairing the damage done by the fight. Amy appeared, teleporting the entire group to Pinwheel to bury and pay respects to The Oozaru. Krom reunited with Saria and their children, the only thing that kept Krom going from day to day. Krom and Saria's Pokémon reunited as well, Clera taking care of Fred's injuries. The Old Woman, as she was called, showed up, her Dusclops and Seviper actually at her sides instead of in the shape of her cloak and staff. Damien laughed as he rejoined his trainer, walking arm in arm with her. Krom smiled at everyone who showed, some more surprising than others.
Simba's cousin Scar was off speaking to Volcanion the Steam Lion, a God Krom sometimes questioned the existence of. Hoopa the Mischevious was around, under close supervision by Skaar, one of Simba's children. Hinata, the Heatran Krom planned on giving Aja when she decided to set off on her own adventure, sat quietly with her future trainer next to her sleeping. Jackie remained by Simba's side the whole time, the Luxray's closest companion and friend. Landorus himself even appeared, dragging along Tornadus the Steadfast and Thundurus the Bolt, who were not happy. Giovanni, Brock, Lt. Surge and even the minstrel Nando appeared. Krom scanned the area for any possible enemies, happy that he saw nothing but friends and family.
Growling as he recovered in an alternate dimension, Arceus cursed the ape that was capable of defeating him. "I cannot believe that I failed." He said, and Reshiram laughed at him. "You should've known." She said, one of her claw like wings near her mouth. He growled at her. "Now now, you wouldn't want to open any old wounds, would you?" she asked, and he cursed. "If only there was some way I could get back at them." He said, and Reshiram chuckled, looking down and seeing Zekrom himself at the gathering. "You know, there is something you can do." She said. Arceus turned to her.
"Since Krom, Zekrom and all of their children are Electric types, and Dragon types, you could send Diancie the Jewel and Groudon the Continental after them. Think about it. Both of them at the same time? And if Groudon reverts to his Primal form? They'd stand no chance." She said, and Arceus narrowed his eyes, smiling. "Very well. Summon Groudon and Diancie and tell them to attack the village. They stand no chance against both of them." He said, laughing.
Krom sat next to Warriorf, who polished his hammer with Rock Polish, despite the hammer's metal surface. "You know, without the Oozaru, Rafiki won't have anyone to train him right." He said, and the dwarf nodded. "You know, he said Long Live The Dragon before he passed on. Do you think I should build a dragon sculpture in honor of him?" the dwarf asked, Krom able to understand him now that he was more in tune with his Pokémon half. Krom chuckled. "I'd think so. But what Dragon?" he asked, and the dwarf shrugged. "Most likely Zekrom, as his final trainer's father was infact a Dragon." He said, and Krom nodded. He felt sweat begin to pool on his forehead, despite the fact that it isn't even hot outside. "Why am I sweating?" he asked. The dwarf frowned.
"There is only one reason someone would be sweating when it isn't hot out." He said, and Krom paled, glancing to the dwarf. "Do you really think so?" he asked, and the dwarf nodded. "Yes. Groudon is on the way." He said. Krom looked to Simba, who nodded as the members of the village began to conceal themselves as Groudon's figure began to appear over the trees, much larger than normal, with flame pooling around the black lines on his body. "This is Primal Groudon." Simba said, nervous. "Primal Groudon?" Krom asked. Simba nodded. "A Primal Reversion. Like Mega Evolution, but much stronger and more primal." He said, and Krom cursed. The titan lifted his head, roaring as he closed in, a single scream that made Krom nervous about challenging the god.
Krom cursed. "Is Arceus really going to keep sending his lackeys after us?" Krom asked, angered. Simba nodded. "Most likely. Something tells me Groudon isn't alone either." He said, and Krom nodded, sensing another energy source. Glancing at the primal god, Krom noticed Diancie the Jewel charging at them with a cross look in her eyes. Krom chuckled, and the dwarf shook his head. "Don't underestimate her. She was capable of holding off Xerneas and Yveltal at the same time." The dwarf said, and Krom looked at the dwarf in shock before looking back to Diancie, who began to erupt with light, the light dispersing as she underwent Mega Evolution. Krom was in awe at the beauty of her gems. "Warriorf." He said, and the dwarf nodded.
Diancie launched a Moonblast at the duo, who split up, Krom chuckling at the chance to fight with the dwarf again. "It seems a bit unfair that it's two on one, doesn't it?" he asked, and Diancie frowned, gathering energy and shooting beams of light off her diamonds, striking Krom and blinding him. He cursed, launching a Thunder in her direction, her bright body allowing her to throw off his aim. Krom sensed her out with his bare feet, shooting forward with his eyes closed. Diancie rolled out of the way of Krom's fist, launching a flurry of shining gems, striking Krom and forcing him to rely on defense, his vision still not fully recovered. Preparing a Moonblast, she readied it for launch at Krom, when she noticed that it grew dark behind her.
She spun, seeing nothing behind her, but then felt huge hands on the side of her face. She inhaled sharply, for a split second before Warriorf easily, and mercilessly twisted, snapping her neck and ending her life. Krom opened his eyes, hissing at the pain he felt. "At least we can make use of her body." Krom said. The dwarf nodded, looking up at Groudon, the titan roaring as his body fluctuated with intense power. "Take her and do what you will now, I'll find a way to hold Groudon off." Krom said, and the dwarf frowned, but nodded. Krom turned to the titan, wondering just how he was going to hold him off.
Swinging at the trees, the enraged, empowered Groudon tore the trees, and the houses in them, down with ease. Groudon threw his head back, the ground beginning to quiver. However, before anything could happen, a huge white shape rose from the trees and struck Groudon, the two huge shape colliding. Krom gaped as Regigigas managed to knock the powerful titan back. Groudon spun back, striking Regigigas with a Fire Punch, his new Fire typing and the powerful sun, along with the titanic physical prowess of Primal Groudon allowing the attack to do massive damage to Regigigas. The Colossal Pokémon fell to the ground, rising to his feet slowly, his Slow Start hindering his offensive prowess and speed. Using Protect against the next Fire Punch, Regigigas powered up a Mega Punch, striking Groudon as the barrier faded.
Groudon was knocked back slightly, roaring as he used Hammer Arm, his balled fists slamming into Regigigas. The Colossus fell instantly, crumbling under the intense force of the attack. Krom's heart sank at the sight of the god's efforts being in vain. Krom cursed, knowing that his electrical powers had no effect on Groudon, who was so empowered that Krom couldn't do anything to him if he wanted. He cursed, watching Groudon turn around and head back to the village, their battle having moved them drastically. Krom cursed again, whirling to see most of his Pokémon standing behind him, surrounding Saria and their children. Krom smiled. "We might not make it guys. I don't know who can beat Groudon, but it isn't us." He said, and they all frowned, nodding. A grumble followed, and Regigigas rose, charging Groudon, the gods screaming as Regigigas ducked under Groudon's arms, leaping and slamming into him and dragging him to the ground. Regigigas roared, his Mega Punches raining down as he pounded on the knocked down god.
Groudon screamed as he was worn down by Regigigas, the village sheltering themselves and their loved ones and cheering, their clapping empowering Regigigas with Helping Hand. But then, blue flames shot out, striking the colossus in the back, knocking Regigigas off Groudon, who rose to his feet angered. Krom looked in the direction of the flames, seeing Reshiram howling into the distance. Krom's father immediately shifted into his true, Pokémon form, surging towards Reshiram, the funeral preparations turning into a war between gods. Zekrom's anger showed, and Reshiram fled quickly, one of her legs and arms broken in an instant, the angered, enraged Zekrom turning his attention towards Groudon. Zekrom slammed into the god, forcing him back, Groudon roaring as spires rose from the ground, Zekrom flying around each spire as he closed in for a second attack.
However, one huge, reddened spire struck Zekrom, nearly tearing his left arm off, knocking him from the sky. Krom's heart sank, and his Pokémon were prepared to surge forward and hold off Groudon until Zekrom could get out of the way, but Krom stopped them. "Don't. My father wouldn't want this." He said, knowing that his father likely wouldn't survive today. The Ground began to quake, shockingly, from behind Krom. He whirled, seeing the trees began to shake as something moved from behind them, trying to break through them.
Groudon felt the ground tremble, and turned his attention to the trees, roaring as he watched the trees crumble under the force of whatever was charging through the trees. Krom gaped as Mahmut exploded through the trees. But it wasn't the massive mammoth's appearance that shocked Krom, it was the twelve foot tall Spartan golem atop Mahmut that shocked him. The mammoth riding golem held his spear tight, launching it at the titan, who screamed as it was struck in the shoulder. Mahmut coating his tusks in ice, Leonidas coating his fists in ice, the duo slammed into Groudon, knocking him back as the Spartan golem leaped off the mammoth, continuing his assault on the primal powered god. Groudon screamed when the first punch hit him.
The second punch made Groudon's head snap back, the third making the god double over, the next strike hitting him in the back. Groudon recovered quickly, throwing his head back and launching a SolarBeam at Leonidas at close range, knocking the golem back with the intense of the blast. Mahmut sped around the golem, the three titans battle carrying on as Mahmut crashed into Groudon, roaring as he drove his tusks into Groudon's shoulder, knocking the Spartan's spear from the titan's shoulder as he was struck with a huge Fire Blast, knocking him to the ground, grunting.
Leonidas leapt over Mahmut, slicing Groudon's chest with his spear, rolling around the titan and jabbing him repetitively as he circled the god. Groudon gathered all of his energy together, an intensive force that made the ground quake as his powered increased. Leonidas pulled back, thrusting forward with all of his might, his spear going into Groudon's chest and coming out of the top of his head. Groudon's energy dispersed as the light faded from his eyes. Leonidas pulled the spear from the deceased god's corpse, Groudon's body falling to the ground. Leonidas threw his spear into the air, the village erupting into cheer with the god's defeat.
After being given energy and gathering, Xerneas unleashed a huge Geomancy that restored the surrounding area to it's natural state, repairing the damage done. Regigigas sat, his huge body unable to decrease to a human form because of his primal status as a god that created gods. Regigigas looked to the village gates, where his children, the Regi trio as they were known, walked through the gates, heading to see their father. Kyurem managed to recover enough to attend the funeral, which was nearly underway, after the repair and preparation. Their chefs, a group of assorted pudgy Halflings led by Bubba the Snorlax Halfling, prepared a huge feast. Groudon's corpse was inside an underground chamber, Simba still deciding whether or not to dispose of the corpse. Everyone had changed their clothing, wearing some form of red in honor of the fallen Fire Pokémon. Krom was ready for Simba to start the ceremony when he heard footsteps behind him. He turned to see Saria walking towards him, accompanied by a man and his Gardevoir. Krom smiled.
"Hey Saria, we're about to start." He said, smiling to his wife. "Who's this?" he asked, looking at the man. The man stuck his hand out, smiling kindly. "My name is Ashnard Hareta Hi. It's nice to finally meet you." He said, and Krom smiled. The Gardevoir held her hand out, then bowing as she placed her hand on her heart. "My name is Selene Hareta Hi. It's nice to meet you." She said telepathically. Krom bowed to her out of respect. Saria smiled. "How long will you two be staying in the village?" Krom asked. Ashnard shrugged. "We may stay here. We have family here, and it's so much easier to be part of this community than the Accumula Town community." He said, and Krom nodded. "I understand. It's always better to be by the family you have." Krom said, still worried about his father's injury.
The dwarf walked by, dragging a large shrouded… something, with him. Krom waved. The dwarf waved back, bowing to Selene out of respect. Krom chuckled. Everyone had gathered, and Krom smiled. "We're about to begin. Did you come for the funeral?" he asked. Ashnard nodded. "Yes. We did. The Oozaru meant a lot to my Family, so we came to pay our respects. And to of course smother your kids with attention." He said, ruffling Saria's hair. "Dad! I just did my hair." She said. Krom blinked. Dad? He glanced to Ashnard and Selene, and then to Saria. He did see the resemblance, but something else irked him slightly. "It's nice to finally meet my in-laws." Krom said, smiling as the group headed to the funeral.
The funeral was held in an area slightly off to the East, where Simba held all of his Kalosian residents until Krom defeated Alder. It was an area the Oozaru spent a lot of time meditating in. Simba looked over the crowd, smiling as Krom stood next to him. The two Halflings glanced to each other, then back to the crowd. "Today, we honor one of the most powerful Pokémon in history. The Oozaru had a rough start, a trainer named Paul abandoning him because he couldn't control his Blaze ability." Simba started.
"But then, a man we all know, love, and idolize, Ash Ketchum, found the Oozaru and nursed him, nurtured him and raised him, harming himself repetitively to help his Pokémon. The Oozaru reached his second form in a battle against his former trainer, but was still defeated at every given chance. When he was using his Blaze ability to save his friends, he managed to evolve again, into Infernape. And, once he reached this state, he was nearly unbeatable. Managing to take immense damage in a Pokémon League Tournament battle, The Oozaru managed to secure victory for Ash over Paul." He said, and then smiled.
"He could've won Ash the League had he used him in his battle against the ever enigmatic Tobias. However, his enemies, Paul and his Pokémon, fell to the might of Krom and his Pokémon. The Oozaru disappeared to a Pokémon retirement home after his trainer's unfortunate murder, where Krom found him in pinnacle shape nearly two centuries later. After pulling him out of retirement, Krom gave him the name Oozaru, meaning Great Ape. And he was a Great ape. Single handedly turning Route 4 into a Glass Oasis and turning Nimbasa City into Nimbasa lake, fathering the hybrid Pokémon that was capable of defeating Cynthia single handedly, then training many of us Halflings and our Pokémon to hone our inner strengths. He fought many enemies many times, but none were as great as his final battle." He said. Krom sighed, smiling.
"The Oozaru managed to protect my wife and children, and her Pokémon, and the village itself, from three gods. Three. He managed to defeat Dialga, Palkia and Arceus. While Arceus barely escaped by the skin of his teeth, the Oozaru managed to kill Dialga and Palkia after they fused into one singular being. This feat, along with the defeat of Arceus, provoking him into sending his forces after us to eliminate, and the feat of bringing us all together shows that the Oozaru's death had purpose. He didn't die in vain. So, all of us Gods, demigods, Halflings, Pokémon, humans, and any combination of those may still be alive, and find each other. Infact, this has brought me closer to my wife's parents. We all defended the village and each other to protect the spirit of the Oozaru. This was enough to show us how important he is to all of us." He said, shaking his head.
"And so, The Oozaru will forever be embedded in our hearts and souls. And his final words, Long Live the Dragon, have an unclear meaning to us, but we will continue in his footsteps and slay gods, teach the next generation, and never, ever give up. Long Live the Oozaru!" he screamed, and all of the Halflings unleashed loud cries, whether screeches or roars, it mattered not. The gods all returned to their natural Pokémon forms, unleashing primal cries that shook the area around them. Some of the therians even shifted, honoring him in the most sacred way. Each and every single attendee launched some form of flame into the air, the intensity of the flames raising the temperature. Krom smiled, seeing everyone cheering. The dwarf walked up, his shrouded package close behind.
The Stealth Rangers walked out with the casket, made from Enigma Tree wood, the only wood that made any sense for the casket. A flaming hammer embroidered the top of the casket, symbolizing him and Krom. The sides of the casket were covered in various symbols, each and every one coming from a hat that Ash Ketchum wore. As the casket was lowered into the ground, Warriorf positioned the package behind the grave, where a tombstone might be put. When the casket was covered by the Stealth Rangers, the dwarf tore the shroud off, everyone gasping at the creation the dwarf made to honor the ape.
The Oozaru was crafted out of diamonds dyed perfectly to match the ape's graying appearance, Holding Mega Diancie's head as he stood atop Groudon's severed head. All of this on a Stone pedestal that said 'Long Live the Oozaru, Long Live the Dragon' Krom smiled, feeling himself tear up slightly at the amazing statue the dwarf crafted. Everyone cheered as the Gods set off into the darkness, each with Arceus' head on their agenda.
Later that night, Krom sat alone with Saria, Homika and Orzhov off spending time together, Homika slowly becoming a mother figure to the young Halfling. "Why didn't you tell me your last name was Hareta Hi?" he asked, and she shrugged. "You asked for my name. I figured if I was just, Saria the Gardevoir Halfling, we'd draw less attention, especially after I conceived." She said, and Krom nodded. "So tell me, when Kurai first made it back to Unova, were you happy?" he asked. She smiled. "Yes. It was great to see my Grandmother after so long." She said, and Krom shook his head. "I'm surprised that you managed to avoid attention with who you are before I came around." He said, and she tilted her head. "What do you mean by that?" she asked, and Krom shrugged.
"Your last name is Hareta Hi. Your father is Ashnard Hareta Hi, son of Kurai Bashode No Hareta Hi, daughter of Rose Ketchum, daughter of Ash and Iris Ketchum. So not only is the Old Woman your Grandmother, the acting Grand Champion is your Great-Great Grandmother. Being a descendant of Ash comes with a lot of attention normally." Krom said, and she blinked. "Never thought of it like that. I guess it's because my father went off the radar after he met my mother." She stated, and Krom smiled. "I understand. I'm just happy the Oozaru protected you against three gods." He said, and she smiled, nodding.
Simba walked through the village, Acheron by his side. "So tell me, where did you find that much Enigma Wood?" he asked, and Simba turned to see ten shadows standing atop a group of trees, each of the figures looking down at the village before disappearing. "From them." He said, and Acheron frowned. "Who are they?" he asked. Simba chuckled. "Nine of them are the adopted children of the tenth. He's a traveler of sorts. You'll likely never see him again." He said, chuckling quietly to himself.
